Weaving design which is to be designed based on the machine words threading and treading is characterized by its strong limitation of expression. The concept of design has been set based on the patterns on the wooden rice-cake mold which arechosen from many Korean traditional patterns since the expressions of patterns limited by the wooden rice-cake mold is easy to be grafted upon each other. Particularly, literal patterns and geometrical patterns contain religious desire and wishes that are generated from man's fear and wonder about Nature rather than from the pursuit of beauty which is general characteristics of patterns. Based on these images, the twill technique, especially threading of Sally Nielson's rosepath which is easy in formal expressions is used to design Korean style patterns into the weaving structure. It is hoped that this study will provide an opportunity to introduce Korean style patterns to the weavers of the world and that the weaving designs will actively be utilized in the Korean industries so that they can acquire high value-added assets and commercialize our superior culture, thus being of great help to developing our cultural industr.

최근 의생활에 있어서 가장 큰 변화는 쾌적성의 추구와 건강을 중심으로 한 기능성 소재에 대한 소비자들의 욕구가 증대된다는 것이다. 천연 섬유 중 모시는 통기성이 우수하고 감촉이 깔깔하여 고온 다습한 우리나라의 여름철 옷감으로 좋으므로 현대 의생활로의 도입이 요구되고 있다. 그동안 모시직물은 심미적인 욕구에도 잘 맞아 한국인의 정서에 좋은 이미지로 자리 잡고 있지만 수공예적 생산방식을 그대로 답습하고 있어 전통모시직물로는 많이 이용이 되어왔으나 현대 방적모시직물을 이용한 새로운 직물디자인 개발은 이루어지기 어려운 실정이었다. 그러나 최근 방적모시섬유에 대한 연구가 활발하게 진행되기 시작하면서 현대 방적모시직물의 생산이 가능하게 되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 원사의 특성과 제조공정 특성에 의해 미세한 감성촉감의 차이를 유발하기 좋은 폴리에스터를 경사로하고 방적모시와 라이오셀을 위사로 하여 현대 모시직물의 개발을 시도하였다. 모시의 소비를 증가시키고 현대인의 감성에 맞게 심미성을 향상시킬 수 있도록 직물문양을 디자인하였다. 직물의 복잡한 문양을 컴퓨터로 디자인하고 자동으로 제직이 가능하게 하는 시스템인 EAT 프로그램을 이용하여 자카드 직물 특유의 고급스러움을 살리며 공정과정에서의 실의 밀림 등을 고려하며 조직을 설계하였다. 설계된 직물은 제직 후 염색 가공하여 쿠션, 방석, 테이블 러너 등의 시제품으로 제작하여 고부가가치 모시제품의 개발가능성을 살펴보았다.

가방지 중에서 고급 브랜드의 핸드백은 근래의 세계적인 경기불황에서도 꾸준한 소비층을 형성하면서 매출 상승을 유도하고 있는데, 기존 40~50대 시니어들을 위한 전통적인 레자 또는 자카드 문양직물의 고유한 디자인 뿐만 아니라 20~30대의 젊은 층을 위한 다양한 칼라의 프린팅 문양 직물도 많이 개발되고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구는 잠재권축사와 고강력PET를 이용하여 이소재 복합 ATY를 제조하고 제직 및 날염을 통해 다양한 프린팅 문양을 발현할 수 있는 가방지용 직물 개발에 관한 것이다. 최근의 캐주얼 및 힙합룩은 물론, 베이직 정장 차림까지 트렌디한 우븐 백이 코디 아이템 1호로 떠오르고 있는데, 가방용 브랜드 중"레스포색"과 "키플링" 등이 급상승 기류를 타며 국내에 빠르게 정착하고 있으며 수입 브랜드인 경전상사의 "롱샴"도 폴딩백으로 인기를 누리고 있다. 핫 이슈인 스포티즘을 떠올리지 않더라도 최근의 변화는 소비자의 니즈를 적극 수용하려는 패션잡화 업체들의 움직임을 대변하고 있으며, 직물형태의 백이 합리적인 가격에서나 가볍고 편리한 실용적인 부분 모두 소비자의 니즈를 채워주기에 충분하고, 트렌드가 부각된 가방일수록 시즌에 따라 스피디하게 구매가 이뤄지고 있다는 장점이 있어서, 최신 트렌드의 디자인과 재료 효과를 극대화한 제품이 다수 선보이고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 다양한 트렌드 디자인의 문양 발현을 위한 직물을 위해 PET Base의 잠재권축사와 PET 고강력사를 사용하였는데, 이때 사용되는 잠재권사는 Effect사로써 온도, Air압 등의 공정요소 제어를 통해 Soft한 touch을 위한 잔루프를 발현하도록 하였으며, PET 고강력사는 Core사로 사용함으로써 잠재권축사의 강도를 보강하여 가방지로써 요구되는 강력을 가질 수 있도록 하였다.

남성 속옷은 신체 보호의 기능이 중요하지만 운동이나 거실 생활에서 속옷노출이 일반화됨에 따라 개성과 이미지를 표현할 수 있는 패션 아이템으로 변화되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 남성 속옷 시장에서 소비자가 원하는 감성과 이미지를 파악하고 소비자가 선호하는 감성요구에 부합하는 소재 특성이 데이터베이스로 만들어져 소비자가 원하는 속옷 제품개발이 이루어지는 시스템의 구축이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 남성용 속옷 문양디자인 개발을 위한 목적으로 남성 트렁크 팬티용 문양의 감성 이미지를 파악하고자 하였다. 본 연구를 위하여 시판하는 트렁크 팬티 중 문양의 형태 및 크기, 색상을 달리한 50 종을 수집하였고, 이중 25 종의 트렁크 팬티용 문양 이미지에 대한 주관적 감성평가를 2009년 4 월 부산지역에 거주하는 20 대 남녀 22 명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 주관적 감성평가를 위해 직물 문양 선호도에 관한 선행연구를 바탕으로 빈번하게 출현되는 26 개의 감성 형용어를 추출하였다. 감성 형용어를 7 점 척도로 문항화하여 설문지를 구성하고 설문지와 함께 25 종의 팬티 자극물을 보고 평가하도록 하였다. 수집한 자료의 통계분석을 위해 SPSS Win 12.0을 사용하여 빈도분석, 카이제곱 검정, 요인분석 분간분석 사후분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구결과 남성용 트렁크 팬티의 문양에 관한 감성 형용에는 '고급성', '활동성', '단순성', '호화성', '성숙성'의 요인으로 요약되었으며, 문양의 고급 감성 및 활동적 스타일이 트렁크 팬티 선호도에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 트렁크 팬티의 색상 및 문양 유형이 선호도에 중요한 영향을 미치는 변수로 나타났는데, 남성 트렁크 팬티에 사용될 수 있는 무채색 계열의 고급스러우면서 단순한 도형 문양 디자인의 개발이 필요하다고 하겠다.

The purpose of this study was to compare with the Persian texile design having an out-standing skill in fertile designs with the Byzantine textile dosing being influenced a lot by Christinity and many Oriental factors including Hellenism. These two textile design have some similarities and differences in their patterns. The results of the study were as follows: Similarities ; 1. The Persian traditional animals, hunting scenes and cavaliers are used as the major subject in both patterns. 2. Decorative designs enclosed circular are used in both patterns. Differences ; 1. The Persian textile designs are based on Zoroasterianism, and their animal designs have the Zoroasterian religious meanings. While the Byzantine designs are affected by the Christianity. In the Byantine textile designs, the mythical subjects from ancient Rome and Greece, and the circus scenes are dominent. 3. The Persian textile designs are combative, momentary, dignifed, and realistic pattern, while the Byzantin textile designs are playful, sketchy, humouristic, and evasive pattern. 4. Vivid color effect was found in the Persian textile patterns: however, more refined and gorgeous color was used by the Byzantine textile patterns. Thus, the Persian and the Byzantine textile patterns have interrelations with each other. In general, the Persian textile patterns have affected a great deal on the Byzantine textine textile patterns. They are essentially corelated with each other, but each of them has its own characteristics.

1903년에 설립된 오스트리아 빈공방은 총체개념을 가진 호프만(Josef Hoffman)을 중심으로 1910년경부터 직물파트를 설립하여 왕성한 활동을 하였다. 빈공방 직물디자인을 3단계로 나누어 그 조형성과 영향관계를 살펴보면 1기는 1903년부터 1910년까지로 핵심인물인 모저와 호프만은 세세션과 맥킨토시의 기하차적인 성향과 일본미술의 양식과 모티브에 영향을 받아 자연형태를 기하학적으로 양식화하여 간결한 문양디자인을 하였다. (중략)

정물화적인 요소를 지니고 있는 책가도는 책을 중심으로 이와 관련이 있는 물건들이 함께 표현되어 있다. 여러 가지 물건들이 복합적으로 나열되어 복잡하면서도 치밀한 비례와 안정된 구도를 갖추고 있다. 일정한 선의 반복에서 조형적 세련미를 느낄 수 있으며 장식성, 기능성, 예술성을 엿볼 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 책가도에 표현된 문양을 활용하여 세련미와 고풍스러움이 묻어나는 넥타이 직물디자인을 제작하고자 하였다. 우선 문헌고찰을 통하여 한 점의 책가도를 선정, 컴퓨터 디자인 프로그램인 아도브 일러스트레이터를 이용하여 네 개의 모티브를 디자인하고 그것을 활용하여 네 점의 넥타이 직물디자인을 개발하여 제시하였다.

At the global times, each country is developing various designs, symbolizing its own country's original images. So significant and continual developments must be made in the aspect of the national identity and image promotion as well as for producing added value by commercializing the designs in the manner of discriminating against cultures. So this study is trying develop the textile design that express the beauty of Korean traditional pattern. For textile design, it was selected a rice-cake pattern and developed a textile pattern design by using computer design program of adobe illustrator 10.0.
