The number of people with a disability registered in the Korea's Ministry of Health and Welfare is more than 2.5 million in 2010, and approximately 2.51 million as of late 2012. In consideration of potential disabilities led by aging which is in fast progress in Korea, the number of people with a disability will further increase. It is necessary to study the method of enabling people with a disability to easily access facilities and of using facilities for people with a disability, in order to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) which is enforced in Korea. In this study, a smartphone recently used more and more is used to develop a smartphone which can recognize locations, voice and the QR code for enabling people with a disability to recognize them. The developed smartphone for people with a disability is connected to a database established as a facility for people with a disability, and to the navigation system in the wheelchair accessible call taxis, to enable the disability database to be used. This study will contribute to observing the Disability Discrimination Act of Korea, and improving the national welfare system by enhancing the disability care services.

The purpose of this study was comparing the disability awareness of occupational therapists and none therapists, and investigating the disability awareness according to the demographic characteristics of the respondents. The questionnaire was distributed through the online with a questionnaire based on social network service, and analyzed 62 responses of none therapists and 60 responses of occupational therapists. In results, disability awareness was not significantly different between occupational therapists and none therapists(p>.05). But, in subscale of disability awareness item 4 and 7, occupational therapists were significantly higher than none therapists(p<.05). In all respondents, disability awareness was more positive in males than females(p<.05). Also, there was no difference in disability awareness according to presence of disabled persons among family members or relatives(p>.05). However, All respondents who answered 'Yes' in the presence of disabled persons among family members or relatives in responders were significantly higher than those who answered 'No' in item 4(p<.05). There was no correlation between age and disability awareness(p>.05). The authors discussed suggestions in results of this study.

This research investigated the relationship between the parent's positive perception of parenting children with disabilities and family adaptation, and the mediating effect of empowerment on the relationship. For this research, data from 189 parents of children with disabilities who had used social service facilities and a school for the disability. There are the research results. First, the level of empowerment and positive perception are both high and were different between father and mother. The level of Self-efficacy is highest among sub-factors of empowerment. The parent's positive perception of parenting children with disabilities was positively correlated with empowerment. The empowerment and parent's positive perception had an direct effect on the family adaptation. On the verification of the effect of empowerment as the mediator, the empowerment variable revealed possessing the partial mediating effect. Therefore, this study suggest for the practical promotion about empowerment and parent's positive perception of parenting children with disabilities.

We extract the symptom of panic disorder from the context awareness environment. It extracts body context information through natural movement that exists in everyday life and uses a component of panic disorder. The ontology theory can be used to provide information on the degree of symptoms of panic disorder through inference process. For the components of panic disorder to the information processing based on ontology are defined as Classes. Panic disorder index is expressed through ontology modeling so that the condition of panic disorder can be known. The derivation of panic disorder component and panic disorder index will enable context awareness based information service for panic disorder. The context information is periodically synchronized with the context awareness on based device. Panic disorder can be used to improve the lifestyle of panic disorder.

2019년 장애인경제활동실태조사에 따르면 장애인의 고용률은 35%, 실업률은 6.6%로 우리나라 전체 경제 활동 인구의 고용률 61.5%, 실업률 4.4%와 비교할 때 매우 낮은 수준을 보여주고 있다. 상대적으로 저조한 장애인의 취업 및 고용 상황을 개선하기 위하여 정부 주요 부처에서 활발한 노력을 하고 있으나, 장애인의 고용환경은 여전히 열악하여 장애인의 낮은 경제활동 참가율, 직종 선택의 제한, 지원 고용에 비해 낮은 일반고용률, 비정규직 치중 등 열악한 고용 형태의 질적 개선 등 장애인고용에 대한 정책적 지원이 더 개선되고 발전되어야 함을 내포하고 있다. 그에 따른 대안으로 장애인 창업이 주목을 받고 있다. 그러나 창업은 비장애인조차도 성공하기가 어렵고 실패할 확률이 높다. 장애인 창업의 경우 장애라는 특성으로 인해 실패할 경우 재기하기 어려운 상황에 처해질 가능성이 비장애인보다 높다. 따라서 장애인 창업의 특성을 고려하여 성공 창업 요소를 파악할 필요가 있으며, 그에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 관한 연구는 시급한 상황이다. 본 연구의 목적은 비장애인들을 대상으로 이루어진 기회 인식, 창업 의도, 기업가정신에 관한 선행 연구의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 장애인 창업자의 창업의지에 미치는 영향요인을 규명해 보고자 한다. 특히 장애인 창업자의 기회인식과 창업의지 사이에서 기업가 정신(혁신성, 위험 감수성, 진취성)의 매개효과를 검증하며, 이 과정에서 창업자의 창업 의도를 고취시킬 수 방안에 관해 논의해 보고자 한다.

This study started to examine the understanding and perception of 'disabled people' and 'non-disabled people', one of the dichotomous elements in the 21st century social integration era. In particular, for the analysis, Q-methodology, which should respond based on the respondent's inner self and perception, was used. For the analysis, 32 Q-statements were secured, and as a result of targeting 20 P-sample respondents, three types were derived as follows. In , statements such as 'A correct awareness of disability is necessary' and 'Disability can occur to anyone' are emphasized, so it was named 「Correct Perception Emphasis Type」. emphasized 'The life of the disabled is not easy' and 'The disabled need an opportunity to participate in society' and was named 「The Life of the Disabled Understanding Type」. emphasized statements such as 'Economic support is necessary for the disabled' and 'The welfare budget for the disabled must be sufficiently secured', and was named 「Institutional Support Emphasis Type」. Therefore, in addition to the necessity of correct recognition of disability and disability in our society, we expect this study result is to be priming water for improving the recognition of the disabled.

The purpose of this study is to examine the perception of the right to vote of persons with developmental disabilities in college students. College students attending in A University and B University in Gwangju Metropolitan City were selected using convenience sampling and 370 samples were finally analyzed. The results were as follows. First, the subjects who took a disability course had high perception of the right to vote of persons with developmental disabilities. Second, it was discovered that the more times people participated in the volunteer work related to disabilities, the more recognition they had on the voting rights of people with developmental disabilities. Third, the subjects who responded for the need for the political rights of persons with developmental disabilities had more positive perception of the right to vote of persons with developmental disabilities than those who did not responded. Based on the findings, it was suggested that methods should be investigated to establish positive attitude and perception of the right to vote of persons with developmental disabilities in persons without developmental disabilities including college students.

The purpose of this study is to find out subjective perception types and needs of interested group on the employment supporting for students with disabilities in college by Q methodology, then to search for political measures to support employment for students with disabilities in the implication of the sorted subjective perception types. The result of the study showed that there are four major sorts of subjectivities on the employment supporting for students with disabilities in college : external dependence(Type1), disability-friendly (Type2), demand tailored(Type3), internal role emphasis(Type4). The result of the study could check that there was necessary reconstruction to disability-friendly infrastructure based on interset and willness on the employment supporting for students with disabilities in college. In addition to that there was necessary to job creation of government, to build network of industry to successful labor market entry of students with disabilities.

The purpose of this study was to identify the current status of the challenging behaviors of the developmentally disabled living in residential facilities for the disabled in Gyeonggi-do and whether social workers in residential facilities recognize the challenging behaviors, and then to draw implications for establishing an intervention for the challenging behaviors. As a research method, a survey was conducted targeting 145 social workers in residential facilities for the disabled in Gyeonggi-do. The collected data were calculated as frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation using SPSS 25.0. As a result of the study, first, it was analyzed that the status of injuries related to challenging behaviors of persons with developmental disabilities was high. Second, it was analyzed that the social worker's perception of the challenging behavior of the developmentally disabled is that they are considering job change because of psychological trauma. The coping ability and ability to cope with it were excellent, and they did not achieve excellent results. Learn more about acting in a professional manner.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate attitude of grade-schoolers toward children with disabilities. Methods : The subjects of this study were grade-schoolers who have not received an inclusive education in Gim-hae. The study was surveyed from October second to 17th in 2008. The survey was categorized into three parts; comradeship, activity, and study. Each part of the survey consists of 10 questions. Data were analyzed by SPSS (version 12.0). Results : The results were as follows; First, the attitude of girls toward disabled students was non-significant compared to boys. Second, the order of attitude degree in grade of students was 4, 6, and 5. The attitude toward children with disabilities showed statistically significant difference according to grade(F=3.546, p<0.05). Third, the attitude of students who have experience of contact with people with disabilities was non-significant compared to non-experienced students. Conclusion : In conclusion, therefore peer groups in lower class levels showed more positive attitude toward the children with disabilities. The result will be useful information for understanding disabled children and making positive attitude. Also it is expected that occupational therapists help disabled children to participate in school life successfully using these information.
