This study classified the predictors affecting the life satisfaction level of married immigrant women into socio-demographic factors (age, education, personal system factors (Korean proficiency, self-rated health, depressed mood, multicultural attitude), family system factors (spouse relationship satisfaction, child relationship satisfaction, couple conversation time, decision-making status), and social factors (social support, social capital, experience of social discrimination, multicultural family support center use) based on ecosystem perspectives and comprehensively examined their effects. The data for 14,464 married immigrant women from the National Survey on Multicultural Families 2015 were analyzed through hierarchical multiple regression. The findings of this study are as follow. First, the results indicated that all ecosystem factors- that is personal, family, and social system factors-significantly affected life satisfaction level of married immigrant women and especially personal and family system factors increased the predictability on their satisfaction. Second, among all predictors, spouse relationship satisfaction was the factor most strongly associated with life satisfaction. Finally, the income variable among socio-demographic factors, depression among personal system factors, spouse relationship satisfaction among family system factors, and experience of social discrimination among social system factors all showed the strongest significant effects on the life satisfaction level of married immigrant women. These results suggest that comprehensive factors based on the ecosystem perspectives to intervene and promote the life satisfaction of married immigrant women should be considered.

The purpose of this study is to identify the multicultural competence of university students majoring in social welfare studies and to verify the influence of human rights attitude and spiritual intelligence that affect multicultural competence using structural equation model. Spiritual intelligence was set as an independent variable and multicultural competence was set as a dependent variable. Human rights attitude was established as a mediating variable. Study subjects were 259 university students majoring in social welfare studies at 5 universities in the Daegu, Gyoungbuk area. Spiritual intelligence and human rights attitude appeared to have a significant effect on multicultural competence, indicating that a higher level of spiritual intelligence and human rights attitude were correlated with a higher level of human rights attitude. Also in the pathway of spiritual intelligence on multicultural competence, human rights attitude had a significant mediating effect. When the university student majoring in social welfare studies had a high level of spiritual intelligence including transcendence and meaning and purpose of life, their perspective on human rights which is important in the practice of social welfare affected the multicultural competence required to assist immigrants of various identities. With respect to the growth and development of innocity from improvements in leisure environments, this research examines the factors that affect the level of satisfaction of innocity leisure environments to propose political implications. In order to do so, 43 leisure activities were chosen, and the level of importance of those activities to the residents prior to moving to the innocity was compared to the level of satisfaction the residents felt regarding the activities after moving. As a result, 13 activities, including literature attendance, had greater levels of satisfaction after moving than the levels of importance prior to moving. The rest (30) activities showed the opposite results. We deduced the factors that affect the level of satisfaction by performing logistic regression analysis on 3 dependent variables. As a result, the static and passive leisure activities had higher satisfactory levels, whereas the dynamic and active had lower satisfactory levels. Thus, innocity must develop culture facilities quickly, expand exercise facilities to support sports activties, and promote tourism by improving and networking with tourist attractions in order to improve future satisfactory levels of leisure activities.
