  • These days we can understand the game as a culture of digitalized amusement and living beyond that is a simple product of computer engineering. That's why It makes an offer more scientifical bases when we design a game to analysis social and individual desire of human precisely. It have been researched by centering around psychologist what is the natural desire of human and movement for a kind of compensation. In this paper, It have been researched into a matter of player's need and compensation in a game based on psychological theory.

A Study of the Characteristic of Korean Grit: Examining Multidimensional Clustering of Grit (한국형 그릿(Grit) 특성에 대한 고찰: 높은 그릿집단의 다차원적 유형 연구)

  • The purpose of this research was to examine the characteristics of typical Korean grit as opposed to Western conceptualizations. We conducted cluster analysis to identify subgroups based on three related but distinct constructs-passion(harmonious vs. obsessive) and meaning in life. Basic needs satisfaction, life satisfaction, and ego-resilience were further assessed to explore potential group-specific differences in psychological attributes. Highly gritty individuals(n=139; M=22.51 yrs) were selected by using the median. According to our results, gritty individuals were subdivided into 3 groups: the initiative who possesses highly adaptive harmonious passion and meaning in life(35.8%), the obsessive who are high in maladaptive obsessive passion(26.1%), and the passive who are the lowest in all(38.1%). The initiative grit scored the highest in all three attributes while the two other subgroups showed culturally unique patterns. Our results suggest that culture specific factors may mold differently the unfolding and psychological outcomes of grit in Korea.

A Study on the Cognition Effect as to the illustration Layout in Children's Picture Books (어린이그림책일러스트레이션의 화면구도에 따른 인지효과 연구)

  • The layout in picture book is a visual statement that arouses children's psychological reaction upon pictorial positions and those disposition, and that indicates a correlation between theme and background and characters' movements. This study firstly confirmed that children's perception and experience are variously formed according to age, past experience, psychological action, physiological impulse, mentality, growth environment, etc., in order to analyze how the pictorial layout in children's picture book has influence on children visually and psychologically. Likewise, visual and psychological perception was carried out targeting on the children between 4 and 7 years old, based on the perceptive specific and process that have been studied by previous researchers. In addition, the children's picture books published overseas or domestically were presented as the related cases, in order that the facts analyzed may be drawn to harmonious and effective pictorial layout. Lastly, it is expected that the conclusion suggested by this study may be of help to illustrators to design picture books individually and creatively, as well as be applied to studying effective expression in the educant who learn about illustration.

A Study on User Experience that Provides Psychological Stability during Mobile E-commerce One-touch Payment (모바일 이커머스 페이 원터치 결제 시 심리적 안정감을 제공하는 사용자 경험 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to study the user experience that provides psychological stability when paying for mobile e-commerce pay one-touch. Through literature and case studies, e-commerce pay one-touch payments were identified, and user experiences were investigated through surveys and in-depth interviews. The survey based on Aaron Walter's model of user needs received a high average of functionality and usability for one-touch payments, but reliability and stability were somewhat low. Afterwards, four design improvement plans were presented to supplement psychological stability by analyzing in-depth interviews conducted based on the User's Eye View of User Experience Design model. This study is expected to be helpful in basic research on the payment experience where you can feel stable when taking one-touch payments.

A Feminist Psychological Analysis on the Playful Embracement of Boys' Love Manga (여성심리학 관점에서 분석한 남성동성애만화(Boys' Love manga)의 유희적 수용)

  • This study explored the phenomenon of heterosexual women embracing Boys' Love manga within the heteronormativity context from a feminist psychological perspective. Specifically, the issue of genre characteristics of Boys' Love manga, women's psychological mechanism of reading Boys' Love manga, and the functions and effects of embracing Boys' Love manga were discussed. As a theoretical framework of analysis, I started from the classical psychoanalysis and critically adopted the concepts of the various camps of feminism, queer theory, and Huizinga's Homo Rudens. The results show that Boys' Love manga can be classified as a sub-category of the romance genre, which fulfills heterosexual women's desires of eternal love and equal partnership. From these wish-fulfilling fantasies, heterosexual women attempt to be decontextualized from the heteropatriarchism, to enjoy distancing and voyeuristic separation from the characters in the texts, and to disturb the dichotomous gender system through gender reversal identification. These processes, which can be regarded as a women's play challenging sexual rigorism, ultimately bring about an awareness of the female sexual subjectivity.

  • 의복은 인간 생활의 기본적인 의.식.주의 하나로서 인간의 신체적, 사회적, 심리적 욕구를 만족시키 는 필수적인 부분을 차지한다. 이러한 의복은 정상인이나 장애인 모두에게 중요한 것인데, 장애인의 의복은 장애부위 및 그 정도와 밀접하게 관련된 특수한 요구사항이 추가된다는 점이 달라, 표준화된 대량생산체제를 지니고 있는 현대의 의복생산에 비추어 볼 때, 장애인들의 특수한 요구를 충족시켜 주는 의복을 제공해 준다는 것은 매우 어려운 일임을 알 수 있다. 또한 우리의 현 실정을 살펴보면 장애인을 위한 기성복은 물론 맞춤복도 별로 없고, 기존의 논문들의 대부분이 몇몇 지체장애인에게 국한된 의복형태를 제시하고 있어서 많은 장애인들 에게 동시에 적용되는 패턴의 연구가 절실함을 알 수 있다. 게다가 이러한 패턴 연구에 기본이 되는 장애인의 체형특성 연구는 거의 찾아보기 힘듬을 알 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 이러한 장애인들에게 보편적으로 적용될 수 있는 패턴의 제작에 기본이 되는, 의복구성시에 필요한 칫수를 계측하고, 그것을 동일한 연령층의 일반인과 비교하여 어떠한 차이가 있는가를 구명함으로써 장애인에게 보다 신체적합성이 높은 의복 패턴제작에 도움을 주는데 있다.

Career Development of Korean Science-Gifted Students from Elementary Through High School Years (과학고등학교 학생들의 초등학교부터 고등학교까지의 진로발달 과정)

  • The study aimed to thoroughly observe the process of science-gifted students' career development from elementary to high school in Korea. Eighteen science high school students participated in this study. Data source was retrospective interviews with individuals. Results indicated that the inner factors influencing their career development included 'interest in science' and 'desire for deep understanding of science,' and 'ambition for taking a lead in society by means of science.' The outer factors included 'dissatisfaction with regular schooling,' 'social atmosphere to prefer special purpose high schools,' and 'in-depth educational programs beyond high school levels with brilliant peers.' These inner and outer factors have reacted upon each other in their career development. The implications for proper career development were discussed on the basis of the results.

Identification of the Structural Relationship of Basic Psychological Needs and Facebook addiction and Continuance (기본심리욕구와 facebook 중독 및 지속사용의도의 구조적 관계 규명)

  • SNS is developing rapidly along with diffusion of smartphone. However as useage of SNS became excessive, SNS addiction became a social problem. Meanwhile the problem that users leavning SNS because of negative perceptions about SNS became issue. As both SNS addiction and continuance are important when using SNS, this study examines factors affecting Facebook addiction and continuance. We derive three personal traits, which is autonomy, competence, relatedness as variables that affect Facebook addiction and continuance to use Facebook. The authors' structural equation model using data, collected from 204 Facebook user, showed that autonomy and competence significantly affected Facebook addiction. Also, autonomy, competence and relatedness significantly affect Facebook continuance.

Exploring the Links between Psychological Traits and Game Immersion in a Children and Adolescent Sample (어린이, 청소년 게임 이용자의 심리적 특성이 게임 과몰입에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구)

  • The present study analyzed the KOCCA's Game Immersion data to explore the relationship between psychological traits and game immersion. Psychological traits were classified into four categories; emotional stability, self-esteem, willpower, and happiness. These were put into the multiple regression analysis as the dependent variables with age, sex (dummy), economic status of the homes, variety of leisure activities, friend and family relationship, and time to play games. Four types of immersion (psychological unstability, bad relationship, interrupted daily lives, and failure to control game time and desire) were put into the multiple regression analysis as the independent variables. The multiple regression analysis indicated that the dependent variables predicted the game immersion. Among the psychological traits emotional stability was the strongest factor (negative) that influences the game immersion. Next powerful indicator (negative) among the psychological traits was self-esteem. Based on the findings, measures to alleviate the problems of game immersion and ideas for further research were suggested.

A Pychoeducational Group Intervention for Women with Primary Breast Carcinoma (유방암 환자에 대한 심리교육 집단개입의 효과)

  • The objective of this study was to determine the effect of a psycho-educational group intervention in reducing psychologic distress and enhancing coping in Korean breast cancer patients. The patient selection criteria were age younger than 70 years, having any postoperative adjuvant therapy, and surgery undergone within the previous 12 months as of the start of the study and there were 70 patients eligible for this criteria. They were randomized into three groups; experimental group(24 patients), wait-list control group(24 patients) and wait-list group(36 patients). We conducted a 8-week, structured, psychosocial group intervention, which used psycho-educational strategies combining education and psychological support. Subjects were assessed for psychological distress and coping by administering the Beck Depression Inventory(BDI) and the Ways of Coping Checklist-Revised(WCCL-R) at the baseline and after 8 weeks. Forty eight patients were participated and thirty five patients completed the study. The experimental group had significantly lower scores than the controls for depression on the BDI(p=.012) after 8-week intervention. However, coping did not show a significant difference on WCCL-R after the intervention. Despite of some limitations, the results of this study suggest that a short term psychosocial group intervention produces a significant improvement in the quality of life of patients with primary breast carcinoma in Korea in terms of managing depression.
