The purpose of this study is to identify how the social welfare activity of women's organization in rural area would affect the establishment of social capital. The subjects in study were 250 volunteer workers who belonged to a woman's organization in Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do. The statistical analysis was carried out by SPSS Windows 18.0 Program. The result of this study is as follows: First, as the result of assessing the extent of social welfare activity by women's organization in rural area and of the establishment of social capital, the social welfare activity and the establishment of social capital produced average values of 3.36(.86) and 3.47(.55) respectively. The average value of the social capital establishment was higher than the median value of 3.00. Second, social welfare activity of women's organization in rural area were significant with respect to perception of social class, age, activity frequency, activity period. And social capital were differences between groups in perception of social class, education, age, activity frequency, activity period, activity field. Third, there is a very strong correlation between the social welfare activity of women's organization in rural area and the establishment of social capital. Fourth, the influence of the research subject's social demographic characteristics on the establishment of social capital was 31%, and by the addition of variable factors on social welfare activity the influence on the establishment of social capital increased up to 46%, ascertaining that a 15% increase of the influence on the establishment of social capital was brought up by social welfare activity.

본 연구는 사회복지관에서 이루어지는 실습 내용을 분석하여 효과적인 실습지도를 위한 실천적 지침을 제시하고, 궁극적으로 실습 성과 평가를 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이틀 위해 서울시에 소재한 사회복지관 30개소의 실습지도계획서를 내용분석 연구방법을 사용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과, 사회복지관에서 진행된 실습 내용을 일반주의 실천에 근거하여 5개 범주, 14개 단위로 세부 내용을 추출하였다. 각 범주는 클라이언트 체계 개입, 조직 환경 이해, 전문적 발달, 서비스 전달체계 이해, 기본적 대인관계 기술의 순으로 전체 실습 내용에서 차지하는 빈도가 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 효과적인 사회복지현장실습을 위한 이론적 실천적 함의를 제시하였다.

This Study has been conducted to examine the transition of Japanese 'Social Welfare' in the light of Monthly Welfare which is the oldest professional journal of social welfare in Japan. Especially, this study has insisted on grasping the interaction among politics, economy, society, and culture through social historic perspective. Consequentially, some important themes are emerged from the journal which had been changed as time passes(Charity, Society and Relief, Social Work, Public Welfare Work, Social Work, and Monthly Welfare) as follows; 'strict declaration of charity and relief', 'relief work and social worker', 'professionalism and science of social work ', 'national life rebuilding and localization of welfare facilities', 'new face of livelihood protection and social work', 'community work and fund raising', and the like. In particular, it is revealed that 'Sahoisaup' is a word of translation from Social Work, in addition this word has been used as a word including diverse works in Japan. Also, it is emphasized that the necessity of Japanese experience could be studied in Korea.

This study analyzed the growth process types of social welfare corporations that have operated social welfare facilities after the Korean War and studied the methods of their organizational management. A number of 20 participants composed of the original founders, directors, and chief directors of social welfare corporations that have been established for more than 40 years were selected for in-depth interviews. The researcher had procedures of in-depth interviews with 20 participants, relevant literature reviews, conformation of the research results by participants and peer reviews. There were 169 concepts, 49 sub-categories, and 21 categories revealed by applying the grounded theory method of Strauss and Corbin. The organizational growth types were categorized into the three patterns: familism practicing type, community changing guidance type and the realization of a just society leading types. The results from the research work will provide understanding the original characteristics of social welfare corporations in Korea, building the theory for the growth process types of social welfare corporations and implicating the practice of social welfare organizational management.

As one of the essential elements of social work practice, knowledge articulates what the social work profession is doing and ought to do. With an emphasis on building a body of knowledge for the profession, this study analyses the nature of social work knowledge. First, the study examines concepts of social work theories and models, which are built around separate clusters of concepts from a broad base of theoretical orientation. The study reviews epistemological and ideological debates over how to perceive and approach social issues and the role of the social work profession. In organizing a clear conceptual framework for social work practice, different frames of reference and selective and fragmentary knowledge from other disciplines are considered barriers. For the development of a clear identity as a unified profession and the prospects of a value-based profession, more attention needs to be given to specify practical knowledge that is contextual and appropriate to practice settings and more sensitive to social issues.

This study examined the specific contents of social welfare policies of the Joseon Dynasty through the analysis of Mokminsimseo, Aemin Sixjo and Jinhwang Yukjo, and identified the connection between them and today's social welfare policies. As a result, In the Care of the People, it contained the basic contents of the Elderly Welfare Act and welfare services for the elderly, and in the Freedom, it included welfare policy services related to infants and children, and the value system of welfare for the disabled through government affairs. The policy direction was confirmed, and it was found that disaster relief calls for social integration in response to social crises and disasters. This also confirmed that major areas of social welfare policy such as family safety, income security, health policy, and social integration have been emphasized through social welfare policy indicators. In addition, through the analysis of Qinhwangyukjo, it was found that it contains not only the basic ideology and values of the social security system and social insurance system in terms of visa, scale, and power, but also the details of specific policy implementation. Today's social welfare policies and social service policies, which are equipped with social welfare facilities and are implementing systematic social welfare services for each target, were able to confirm their foundation through the Qinhwangyukjo. This confirms that the emphasis on social integration and income security is prominent in the Qinhwangyukjo through the social welfare policy indicators of the current policy system.
