Maritime safety management needs active public participations because the sea is too wide for a government to respond to all unexpected accidents with limited resources. Marine rescue volunteer organizations of US, UK, Japan and Korea were compared one another on the base of disaster management governance theory, and recommendations for the development of marine rescue volunteer organization of Korea were proposed. The advanced organizations commonly have tradition of marine rescue voluntaryism in the advanced maritime countries. They have nation-wide networks and self-governing structures. Their main activities include public maritime safety education and fundraising programs as well as marine rescue operations. They have cooperative relationships with government agencies in charge of national maritime safety management, which are usually guaranteed by legislations or institutional systems. Donations from the public are major source of their finances. Members mainly consist of civil volunteers, and get basic compensations for their expenses. For the advancement of marine rescue volunteer organization of Korea, efforts are needed to strengthen the membership of civil rescue fleet, to activate public education and fundraising programs, and to amend the related law for institutional support.

전국 38개 한국가톨릭병원협회를 주축으로 한국가톨릭의사협회, 한국가톨릭간호사협회, 한국가톨릭약사회를 산하단체로 두고 있는 보건복지부 인가 비영리 사단법인(기획 재정부 지정기부금 단체, 통일부 대북지원사업자)인 한국가톨릭의료협회(협회장 이동익 신부)의 2011년도 해외의료봉사 활동을 결산한다.

The purpose of this study to provide implications for improvement of Korean voluntary sector, by analyzing of program managers' subjective evaluation of voluntary program management and of their view of the needs for outside supports. For this, researchers selected 600 agencies, which are found to have a staff in charge of voluntary programs, and sent a questionnaire by mail. Those agencies are consisted of the following three. areas: social services, civil movement, public sector. The response rate was 65%, and researchers analyzed 382 respondents out of 391, besides those who did not complete the form in full. One of the results was that program managers' subjective evaluation score of overall voluntary program management was 51 points in the perfect score of 100 points. The voluntary program management was consisted of the following six areas: recruiting, job placement, public relations, education(training), program development, and. information system Specifically, program development and information system appeared to be worse than the other areas, and this fact was true in all three types of agencies of social services, civil movements, and public sector. Moreover, program managers in public sector showed that outside supports for voluntary programs (or activities) was more desperately required. Based on the results, researchers concluded that, toward the improvement of voluntary programs, professionalization as well as legal supporting system, networking, and national supporting institution were required.

The purpose of this study is to find out the structural characteristics of interorganizational networks for women, and to identify the magnitude of efficient structure for network using 30 organizations for women in Buchon. This study attempted to examine the characteristic of interorganizational networks through searching out the central organization and block modeling. The research sample was 30 organizations, and the data analyzed by UCINET V and KP(Krack Plot) 3.1. The results show that public agencies are central organizations of all dimensions(information exchange, client referral, cooperation, resource exchange) and they also play an important part as intermediary of interorganizational network. A prominent characteristics of network is "ggiri-network" that means network between similar agencies. This finding provides important strategy to build and expand the network. Also this finding can be direction of network structure to meet women's needs and empower women.

The purpose of this study is to explore and explain how organization-public relations influence organizational reputation, accounted for by the moderating effect of level of involvement. For this purpose, a survey was conducted to 100 residents in a metropolitan city of Korea with the following five Korean organizations studied: two Korean domestic companies, a sports association, a non-profit organization, and a multinational company. Results of multiple regression analysis indicated that organization-public relationships and publics' level of involvement were significant predictors to account for organizational reputation by non-chance amount, and that level of involvement played a moderating variable role between organization-public relationships and organizational reputation.

촛불재단의 역할은 중대한 사회문제를 해결하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있는 활동에 보다 많은 사람들을, 보다 효과적으로 참여시키는데 있다. 중고생들의 봉사활동은 방과 후, 주말, 휴일, 방학 기간에 이루어지고 있는데, 교육청과 학교는 많은 기관과 단체를 사회봉사 기관으로 지정하고 학생들로 하여금 각 기관에서 활동 내용, 시간, 장소를 선별해서 활동하도록 권장하고 있다.
