The Influence of Cultural Program Commitment on Career Perception & Development of Children and Adolescents Using Local Children Centers' Services - The Mediating Effects of Self-Efficacy Moderated by Social Support (지역아동센터 이용 아동·청소년의 문화프로그램 몰입이 진로인식 및 진로발달에 미치는 영향 - 사회적지지에 의해 조절된 자기효능감의 매개효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of self-efficacy moderated by social support in the influence of local children's center cultural program commitment on career awareness and development of children and adolescents using Local Children Centers' Services. For this purpose, the questionnaires of local children's center cultural program commitment, career awareness and development, social support, and self-efficacy was conducted to 190 elementary school students in the 3rd grade and middle and high school in 22 children's centers in N city. The statistical packages were SPSS PC+ 25.0 and SPSS MACRO. The main results are as follows: First, cultural program commitment had positive correlation with self-efficacy, social support, career awareness and career development. Also, self-efficacy had a positive correlation with social support, career awareness and career development, and social support had a positive correlation with career awareness and career development. Second, the hypothesis model was supported that cultural program commitment positively affects career awareness mediated by self-efficacy moderated by social support. In other words, the more they participated and commited in cultural programs, the more self-efficacy increased leading to more career awareness. Also, the more social support was felt, the more the positive influence of cultural program commitment on self-efficacy increased. The hypothesis model was supported that cultural program commitment positively affects career development mediated by self-efficacy moderated by social support. In other words, the more they participated and commited in cultural programs, the more self-efficacy increased leading to more career development. Also, the more social support was felt, the more positive influence of cultural program commitment on self-efficacy increased. The limitation and future tasks were discussed.

An Examination of Team Commitment in Broadcasting Organization: Focused on the Organizational Culture, Organizational Support (방송프로그램 제작진의 몰입에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구: 조직문화, 조직지원요소, 팀 몰입의 관계를 중심으로)

  • This study attempted to find out that organizational culture and organizational support are the main factors of an effect on team, a kind of making unit of broadcasting programming, commitment. And especially this research tried out that each organizational culture type had an effect differently on team commitment using of Linear Structural Equation Modeling(LISREL). In order to empirically test to the research model, data were collected by 280 terrestrial Broadcasting PD in Seoul. Result showed that each organizational culture has a differential influence on the path and effect of organizational support and team commitment. The educational system and production back up of the Organizational support system have not enough to support and promote the team commitment except reward system. As a consequence, Broadcasting organization make a strategy considering of dominant organizational culture type.

Effects on Micro-learning Contents on University Students' Learning Flow and Learning Motivation based on Extracurricular Program (마이크로러닝 콘텐츠 기반 비교과 프로그램이 대학생의 학습몰입, 학습의욕에 미치는 영향)

  • This study analyzed the effects of a Micro-learning content-based extracurricular program among university students based on their general characteristics. A survey was conducted on 600 students affiliated with G University, a major national university. Learning immersion and learning motivation were used as the key indicators for measuring the learning effects. Cronbach's α coefficient analysis was performed to validate the reliability of the learning effect measurement tool. Independent sample t-tests were utilized to analyze differences in learning immersion and learning motivation based on gender and major disciplines. One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was employed to measure differences in learning immersion and learning motivation according to academic year. According to the research findings, gender and academic year did not significantly influence participation in the Micro-learning content-based program. However, differences in learning immersion and learning motivation were observed depending on the major discipline. Based on this, it is suggested that future programs should provide suitable environments and stimuli based on the students' major disciplines.

The Effect of Organizational Culture of Large Construction Companies on Emotional Commitment through Organizational Trust (건설대기업의 조직문화가 정서적 몰입에 미치는 영향 : 조직신뢰의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to research the impact of the organizational culture of large construction companies on emotional commitment through organizational trust targeting the headquarters and field workers of domestics. Applied the significance sampling method, and the number of samples used in the final analysis was 201, and statistical analysis used the SPSS 20.0 program for the input data processing. As a result of the analysis, first, in the group of the sub-factors of organizational culture recognized by members of large construction companies, rational culture, development culture, and consensus culture had a significant positive (+) effect on emotional commitment, but hierarchical culture was not significant. Second, development culture, consensus culture, and hierarchical culture were found a significant positive (+) effect on organizational trust, but rational culture was not found to be significant. Third, organizational trust was found a significant positive (+) effect on emotional commitment. Fourth, organizational trust has been shown to mediate the relationship between organizational culture and emotional commitment. This suggests that organizational culture that aiming flexibility & change value rather than stability & control value for organizational members can have a positive effect on emotional commitment.

  • This study was examined the impact of acculturation stress and job satisfaction on the organizational commitment among dispatched hospital-workers in UAE. Data were collected with a convenience sample of 107 from March 1 to August 30, 2016. Analysis was conducted using t-test, ANOVA, Spearman rank-order correlation coefficient and Hierarchical regression analysis. The results of the study showed that first, the lower the acculturation stress, the higher the job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and the higher the job satisfaction, the higher the organizational commitment. Second, job satisfaction was significant to predict the level of organizational commitment among dispatched hospital-workers in UAE. Therefore, it is important not only to enhance the job satisfaction but also to reduce the acculturation stress before dispatch in order to improve the organizational commitment of dispatched hospital-workers, and various programs need to be developed for such education.

The Effects of Patient Safety Culture Perception and Organizational Commitment on Patient Safety Management Activities in General Hospital Nurses (종합병원 간호사의 환자안전문화인식과 조직몰입이 환자안전관리활동에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aimed to identify the effect of patient safety culture perception, organizational commitment on patient safety management activities in general hospital nurses. The data were collected from 191 subjects from August 2 to August 16, 2017 using a structured self-report questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS WIN Version 22.0. The results showed that patient safety management activities had significant correlations with patient safety culture perception and organizational commitment. Also, the influencing factors on patient safety management activities were patient safety culture perception, organizational commitment, and patient safety education experience. These factors explained 33.3% of variance. Therefore, in order to improve the patient safety management activities among general hospital nurses, it is necessary to develop and apply an nursing intervention programs considering patient safety culture perception, organizational commitment, and patient safety education experience.

Effect of Family-Friendly Corporate culture on Organizational Commitment and Job Performance-Focus on ICT companies in Korea

  • This study is an empirical study to examine how the family-friendly corporate culture affects organizational commitment and job performance for ICT companies in Korea. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to investigate the effects of family-friendly culture of ICT companies on the organizational commitment and job performance of their employees. To this end, the impacts of internal factors of family-friendly corporate culture on their organizational commitment and job performance of the employees of ICT companies in South Korean are empirically analyzed. And the findings of the empirical investigation are as follows: Family-friendly Organizational culture and Family-Friendly Welfare System have positive effects on the organizational commitment, and Organizational commitment, in return, has positive effects on the job performance. But the Family-friendly working environment is found to have NO significant effects on the Organizational commitment. These results confirm the characteristics of workers who prefer family-friendly welfare systems with economic rewards rather than formal family-friendly programs.

The Influence of Childcare Teachers' Empathy Ability and teaching flow on Happiness (보육교사의 공감능력 및 교수몰입이 행복감에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examined the effects of childcare teachers' empathy, teaching commitment, and feelings of happiness. The subjects were 111 childcare teachers in U city. The frequency, reliability, and correlation analysis were performed using the SPSS 22.0 program, and regression analysis was performed on the causal relationship between the variables. First, the childcare teacher's cognitive empathy factor had a positive effect on the sense of happiness. On the other hand, the emotional empathy factor, a sub-factor of the empathy ability, did not affect the feeling of happiness. Second, the childcare teacher's teaching commitment had a significant positive effect on happiness. This means that a higher cognitive empathy factor, a sub-factor of the childcare teacher's empathy ability, resulted in a higher sense of happiness. Moreover, a higher instructional commitment factor indicated a higher sense of happiness. This study provides basic data for preparing measures to improve the sense of happiness of childcare teachers by grasping the relationship between childcare teachers' empathy ability, teaching commitment, and feelings of happiness.

  • The purpose of this study was to research the relationships among work-family culture, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention of employees in banking industry. In response to employees' need for work-family balance, employers have instituted a number of programs, such as assistant with child care and elder care, flex time, job sharing, shorter work weeks, and telecommuting were adopted. These areas of study are so important in modern organizations because of their influence on organizational success and on the personal lives of employees. To accomplish this study, it was determined that the analysis derived from a hypothesis and literature reviews and data collected from 254 employees in bank industry. The results of empirical analysis showed as follows. First, Perceived work-family culture has a significant effect on job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention. Second, Job satisfaction and organizational commitment have a significant effect on turnover intention. Based on these findings, the implications and limitations of the study were presented including some directions for future studies.
