Determinants of User Perceived Value and Its Influence on the Usage of Smartphone-based Mobile Commerce : Focusing on Service Ubiquity and User Control (스마트폰 기반 모바일거래 이용의 지각된 이용자 가치와 이의 결정요인 : 서비스 편재성과 이용자 통제성을 중심으로)

  • This study attempts to identify user perceived value as a major predictor of the usage of smartphone-based mobile commerce(m-commerce). More specifically, the study conceptualizes user perceived value of smartphone-based m-commerce along three dimensions, such as temporal, functional, and economic values. Moreover, this study proposes service ubiquity and user control that are uniquely defining characteristics of smartphone-based m-commerce and examines how the two variables are associated with the creation of user perceived value. Using a total of 164 data collected on users of smartphone-based mcommerce, we conducted PLS analysis to test the proposed model and hypotheses. The key findings are as follows : First, it has been found that the usage of smartphone-based m-commerce is determined by the three values, such as temporal, functional, and economic values. Particularly, the results show that temporal value is the most influential variable in predicting m-commerce use. Second, the results demonstrate that service ubiquity has a significant positive effect on temporal value, whereas it has no effect on functional value. Finally, user control is positively associated with temporal and functional values. Overall, the results indicate that service ubiquity and user control considerably increase temporal value, thereby accelerating the use of smartphone-based m-commerce. Discussions and implications of the results are provided.

모바일 증권서비스 사용의도의 장애요인에 관한 연구

  • 한국증권산업은 최근 5년 동안 증권서비스의 거래방식이 오프라인에서 온라인으로 전환되는 급격한 패러다임의 변화를 겪었다. 이는 온라인 증권서비스가 오프라인에서 제공해 주지 못했던 서비스를 제공해 주었기 때문인 것으로 많은 연구를 통해 밝혀 졌다. 또한 정보통신기술의 급격한 발달과 모바일 기기의 빠른 보급으로 인하여 또다시 증권서비스의 거래 방식이 모바일기기를 이용한 방식으로 점차적으로 전환 될 것이라는 전망이 많이 예측 되었다. 그러나 전문가들이 예상했던 것과는 달리 모바일 증권서비스의 확산 속도는 2003년 온라인 증권 거래 방식 중 모바일 증권서비스의 거래방식이 3% 미만의 비중을 차지하는 등, 그 확산 속도가 정체되거나 매우 느리게 진행되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 초기에 많은 전문가들이 예상했던 모바일증권서비스가 활성화 되지 않는 요인을 장애요인으로 정의하고, 사용자들이 모바일증권서비스의 수용의도에 있어서 무엇이 가장 큰 장애요인 인지를 도출해 내고 도출된 장애요인을 실제 온라인 증권서비스 사용자들에게 검증 받는데 그 연구목적이 있다.

  • 인터넷의 모바일화에 따른 스마트폰 이용자의 증가는 모바일 기반의 다양한 서비스가 개발 보급되는 환경을 제공하였다. 그 중에서도 모바일 폰을 사용한 결제 서비스는 결제의 편리성이라는 이점으로 활성화 되고 있지만, 편리한 만큼 보안의 취약성을 가질 수 있다는 단점이 있다. 특히, 초기에 모바일 기반 소액결제 서비스가 활성화 되면서, 스미싱으로 인한 이용자 피해가 사회문제로 대두되면서 이를 해결하기 위한 대안들이 제시되었다. 전자금융거래로 인한 금전적 피해는 카드사에서 이미 진행되고 있었으며, 최근에는 이용자의 피해를 최소화하기 위해서 은행, 증권사에도 이상금융거래 탐지 시스템(FDS) 구축을 규제하고 있다. 이에, 논문에서는 모바일 소액결제 서비스 환경에서의 이상금융거래 탐지를 위한 시스템 개발에 대한 연구 방향에 대해서 제시하고자 한다.

  • As increasing of smartphone penetration over the world, various mobile payment services have been emerged and fraud transactions have drastically increased. Although many financial companies have deployed security solutions to detect fraud transactions in on/off-line environment, mobile payment services still lack fraud detection solutions and researches. The mobile payment is mainly comprised of micro-payments and payment environment is different from other payments, so mobile-specialized fraud detection is needed. In this paper, we propose a FDS (Fraud Detection System) based on data mining for mobile payment services. The method of this paper is applied to the real data provided by a PG (Payment Gateway) company in Korea. The proposed FDS consists of two phases; (1) the first phase is focused on classifying transactions at high speed (2) the second is designed to detect abnormal transactions with high accuracy. We could detect 13 transactions per second with 93% accuracy rate.

  • As the increase of transaction using mobile banking continues, threat to the mobile financial security is also increasing. Mobile banking service performs the financial transaction using the dedicate application which is made by financial corporation. It provides the same services as the internet banking service. Personal information such as credit card number, which is stored in the mobile banking application can be used to the additional attack caused by a malicious attack or the loss of the mobile devices. Therefore, in this paper, to cope with the mobile financial accident caused by personal information exposure, we suggest outlier detection method which can judge whether the transaction is conducted by the appropriate user or not. This detection method utilizes the user's input patterns and transaction patterns when a user uses the banking service on the mobile devices. User's input and transaction pattern data involves the information which can be used to discern a certain user. Thus, if these data are utilized appropriately, they can be the information to distinguish abnormal transaction from the transaction done by the appropriate user. In this paper, we collect the data of user's input patterns on a smart phone for the experiment. And we use the experiment data which domestic financial corporation uses to detect outlier as the data of transaction pattern. We verify that our proposal can detect the abnormal transaction efficiently, as a result of detection experiment based on the collected input and transaction pattern data.

  • 온라인 게임 내 가상재화를 현실 세계의 재화로 교환할 수 있다는 점 때문에, PC기반 온라인 게임 내 가상세계는 많은 작업장(Gold-farmer)들로 인한 부정행위가 빈번히 일어나고 있다. 사이버 재화를 현금거래하는 RMT (Real Money Trading)은 과거에는 PC기반 온라인게임, 특히 고포류 게임이나 MMORPG와 같은 장르들에 주로 존재했으나, 모바일 게임에서도 최근 몇 년 간 거래시장이 활발해 지고, 가치가 높은 아이템들이 출현하기 시작하면서 거래 규모가 비약적으로 성장하고 있다. 이로 인해, PC게임에서만 존재하던 작업장이 모바일 게임에도 출현하고, 게임계정 도용을 위한 모바일 악성앱이 등장하는 등 모바일 게임 내의 부정 행위 및 공격 시도 역시 증가하고 있다. 모바일 게임은 하드웨어의 성능 제약 문제, 네트워크 통신의 항상성이 보장되지 않는 문제, 안드로이드 등 플랫폼 OS 자체의 보안 문제, 앱 자체의 디컴파일 문제와 같이 근본적으로 해결하기 어려운 취약점이 존재하는 환경에서 구동되기 때문에 PC기반 게임에서의 게임 봇 및 작업장 탐지와 같은 기법을 적용하기에는 적합하지 않다. 본 연구에서는 모바일 게임 보안과 PC 게임 보안 기법들을 비교하고, 향후 모바일 게임 보안 향상을 위해 할 수 있는 방안을 제시해 보도록 한다.

  • Traditional concurrency control strategies for database system are inappropriate for mobile computing environments in which communication disconnection could occur frequently. The time available to access transactions may be extremely limited in mobile computing. In order to ensure that this time is utilized most effectively, the short-lived transactions must be a main stream of transactions. Service handoffs which occur due to communication disconnection, could degrade the performance of mobile transactions especially for short-lived transactions. Altruistic locking protocol is in its nature favorable to short-lived transactions since it applies the donation of locks to long-lived transactions as early as possible. Performance for short-lived transactions could be improved when we applied altruistic locking to mobile computing.

  • The survey was conducted on the Bungae Jangter and Danggeun Market, which provide mobile used market services. The goal is to investigate factors that affect the user experience of used market platforms and to compare usability. Based on Peter Morville's Honeycomb Model, a survey and In-depth interviews were conducted to users with experience in secondhand transactions. And we qualitatively analyze the factors that affect the user experience. As a result, there were differences in usability depending on the age of the user. (reliability, how to find things, purpose of using used trading services, etc.) This study focused on actual user experience, so it will help you find a way to develop to user-centered secondhand marketplace services.

  • This study aims to empirically examine the factors influencing mobile channel loyalty. This study has been reviewed various theoretical research relating to mobile channel loyalty and transaction cost theory. The model was tested Structural Equation Modeling(SEM) using AMOS 7.0 analysis on the sample collected from 240 respondents. The result of hypothesis testing is as follows. First, asset specificity, uncertainty and transaction frequency were influenced by chanel satisfaction. Second, asset specificity was influenced negatively by chanel preference. Third, chanel satisfaction was influenced positively by chanel preference. Finally, chanel satisfaction and chanel preference were influenced positively by chanel loyalty.

  • With the revitalization of non-face-to-face transactions, the difference between the size of branches and transaction costs among securities firms has decreased, and the importance of the stock trading system has increased. In particular, the mobile trading system has become more important due to the increase in the proportion of transactions in the mobile trading system, which is widely used by individual investors, and the increase in the number of individual investors after COVID-19. However, user-centered usability studies are insufficient as usability studies on mobile trading systems are conducted through literature surveys or survey methods. Therefore, in this study, a repertory grid technique that finds user's empirical perception was used to find out user-centered usability attributes. The usability attributes of the mobile trading system from the user's point of view were elicited, and the difference in the usability attributes in terms of frequency and importance between the user group and the developer group was identified.
