The Relationship between Compensation and Job Satisfaction: Exploring the Role of Supervisor Support and Perceived Internal Equity (구성원의 보상과 직무만족의 관계: 상사의 지원과 지각된 내적 공정성의 역할 탐색)

  • The main purpose of this research is to investigate the impact of compensation on job satisfaction. The study is designed to determine whether perceived internal equity acts as a mediation role in affecting the relationship between compensation and job satisfaction. This study also aims to explore the role of supervisor support in affecting employees' perception of equity toward the compensation. A total of 157 samples was obtained for the data analysis as a quantitative approach. The results of the data analyses revealed that both extrinsic and intrinsic rewards are positively correlated with job satisfaction. The results also showed that perceived internal equity acts as a mediating role in predicting variables of compensation and job satisfaction. The supervisor support does not moderate the relationship between compensation and perceived internal equity. It is suggested that management's efforts must be made in compensation management in order to increase employees' job satisfaction and to improve employees' perception of equity.

Effects of Perceived Quality on Consumers' Intention to Use O2O Services: Focusing on Technology Acceptance Model Perspective (O2O서비스에 대한 지각된 품질이 소비자들의 O2O서비스 사용 의도에 미치는 영향: 기술수용모델 관점에서의 접근)

  • With the development of IT technology, consumers' shopping behaviors have diversified, and O2O services that remove the boundary between online and offline are increasing. With the development of O2O services, it is bringing about new changes in offline retailers that are facing limitations against the continuous growth of online. Drawing upon Technology Acceptance Model, this study investigates the effect of service quality perceived by O2O service users on consumers' intention to use O2O services. The result confirmed that the perceived quality, an external variable, affects the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use, which are the main variables of the Technology Acceptance Model, and the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use in turn have a significant effect on attitude and behavioral intention. In particular, it was found that the higher the perceived ease of use of the user, the higher the perceived usefulness and positive influence on the attitude. The results of this study suggest that in order to increase the utilization of O2O service by users, it is necessary to highlight the perceived quality of service and at the same time manage convenience and usefulness. This is expected to provide meaningful directions for companies attempting to advance O2O services.

  • 온라인 학습 환경을 효율적으로 구성하는 것은 학습자의 학습 성공을 촉진할 뿐만 아니라 학습과정의 이해에 절대적으로 필요한 일이다. 만일 학습자와 교수자가 효율적으로 교류하면 학습자가 느끼는 심리적 거리감은 상당히 최소화될 수 있을 것이다. 이 연구는 학습자들의 온라인 학습에서 교류적 거리의 구조 지각은 성별에 따라 달라지는가를 알아보고 온라인 환경에서의 수업만족도, 지속성, 학업성취도에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 구조의 하위영역이 무엇인지를 밝혀 학습자들의 학습효과를 체계적으로 높일 수 있는 온라인 환경의 요소를 탐색하는데 있다. 설문을 통해 수집된 자료는 연구 목적에 따라 다양한 분석을 실시하였다. 이 연구 결과 학습자의 일반적 특성인 성별에 따른 교류적 거리의 구조 지각수준은 의의있는 차이가 없었다(p>.05). 교류적 거리의 구조 지각수준과 학습자가 지각하는 수업만족도간에 의의있는 상관이 있었으며, 학습자의 학습 지속성과도 통계적으로 의의있는 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 학업성취도와 교류적 거리의 구조 지각수준 간에는 유의의한 차이가 발견되지 않았다(p>.05). 교류적 거리의 구조 하위영역 중 수업만족도에 대한 영향력이 큰 하위영역은 과정 상호 작용이며, 학습 지속성에 대한 영향력이 큰 하위영역은 내용 구성요인으로 나타났다.

Effects of Perceived Image between Corporations in Trust and Commitment of Relationship (기업상호간 지각된 이미지가 신뢰와 관계결속에 미치는 영향)

  • Recently the environment of Korean business cultures has rapidly changed. Companies have their own images. They are Perceived among companies, so they are awarded as the important factors of the making relation. Especially the importance of corporate image was brought to the fore and it has been dealing with continuously and variously since 1990s. Previous empirical research has focused on the orientation of consumer in perceived company image. But the goal of this study is focused on the effects of the perceived image between corporations in trust and commitment of relationship. The results of this study perceived image were indicated to have an effect on trust. In addition, trust were also indicated to have an effect on commitment. C.E.O, Growth, Innovation image were indicated to have an effect on trust as the important factors.

The Differences of Consumer Perception toward the Components of Apparel Store (의류점포 구성요인에 대한 소비자 지각의 차이)

  • This study introduced the components of apparel store, which include product and service factor to reflect the modified conception of service. The purposes of this study were to investigate the dimensions of the components of apparel store and to examine consumers' rating of importance on the components of apparel store. In addition, this study explored the effect of clothing involvement and demographic variables on importance perception. Data were collected via a questionnaire from young adult females in their twenties. The results of this study revealed five dimensions of service factor: environmental service, salesperson service, attitude and policy service related to exchange and refund, policy service related to promotion, and policy service related to convenience. Factors related to product were identified price, quality, variety, fashion, design and brand. Attitude and policy service related to exchange and refund is the most important factor that consumer perceived. Salesperson service and product quality were the second important factors. The relatively important factor in each service dimension was this : display in the environmental service, the ability of salesperson to resolve customer's complaints in the salesperson service, sales person’s courtesy in managing exchange or refund in policy service. Clothing involvement and demographic variables do affect consumers’perception on importance.

  • This study focused on smartphone adoption of foreign students who are studying in Korea in digital media era. Smartphone is not only new media but also social media. Based on former research, factor for smartphone adoption of foreign students will be analyzed. Based on TAM theory technological attribute, individual attribute and social attribute were taken out as independent variables. Perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness are applied as mediator variables. In conclusion, some hypotheses for example service quality and individual attribute are rejected as variables which influence positively to mediator variable perceived easy of use. For the next research more various variables and nationwide sampling will be needed.

  • Decades of psychological research have shown that emotion brings users various kinds of physical and psychological advantages and disadvantages. Moreover, this also impacts human decision-making. However, in spite of the weight of emotion, combined with HCI, relevant research is still insufficient. We hypothesized that the user's temporal emotion could influence the product evaluation, especially in terms of product usability. Two studies were carried out to investigate the effect of induced priming on user evaluations. In exp1, we manipulated participants' temporal emotions using positive and negative images from IAPS. In our results, we saw image priming had a statistically significant effect, with the positive condition group giving the product high ratings for usability. In exp2, emotional image manipulation was conducted with valence and arousal. As a result, we found that the variables of valence and arousal had some interaction effects. These studies have demonstrated that temporally induced emotion could affect users' emotion in different ways, in addition to influencing product evaluations.

  • Perception refers to the process of acquiring all the information about the environment through various sensory organs such as the visual, auditory, tactile, and olfactory senses and integrating and interpreting the information transmitted to the brain. The ability to use these perceptions efficiently is called perceptual skill, and perceptual skill is an important factor for improving performance in the field of sports. As a result, many researchers have developed various perceptual training programs to maximize these perceptual skills while they have also progressed on attempting to verify their effects. The perceptual skill training introduced in this study is a training method that focuses on visual perception and is a training method that is applied in the United States and Europe. to improve sports performance. As a result of carrying out the perceptual skills training based on the kicker's important clue (the kicker's hip - the angle of the body and foot before kicking) to the goalkeeper in the situation of a soccer penalty kick improved the ability of predicting the direction of the ball while even in tennis, carrying out the perceptual skills training based on the server's important clue (position, ball, racket) improved the accuracy of the ability to predict in the direction of serve. Recently, there have been numerous research studies that were carried out on such perceptual skills training, but the number of studies conducted are insufficient, especially in Korea where research studies on perceptual training seem to be in a relatively neglected state. In addition, extensive studies need to be carried out to investigate whether the improvement of perceptual skills in the laboratory situation can be transitioned to an actual performance situation. Therefore, in order to elevate sports performance, researchers need to examine the perceptual training program's extent of necessity as well as the research direction regarding its effects.

Antecedent Factors Influencing the Continued Use of Smart Banking by Different Mobile Platforms: Android OS vs. iOS (모바일 플랫폼에 따른 스마트 뱅킹의 지속사용에 영향을 미치는 선행요인: Android OS vs. iOS)

  • Purpose This study investigates the relationships between various attributes of smart banking (convenience, security, convergence, and economy), user features (familiarity and innovativeness), perceived usefulness, trust, satisfaction, and continuance intentions and provides a comparison of Google's Android OS and Apple's iOS. Design/methodology/approach We considered a sample of 245 respondents and used structural equation modeling to analyze the data. Findings The results indicate that convergence and familiarity significantly affected perceived usefulness and that security and economy significantly affected perceived trust in smart banking services. The relationships of security, economy, and innovativeness to perceived usefulness and those of convenience and familiarity to perceived trust were stronger for the Android OS than for iOS. The study contributes by proposing an integrated framework and providing a comparison between the Android OS and iOS in the context of smart banking.

  • 결혼한 여성의 우울과 관련된 주 요인의 하나는 그들의 다양한 역할이 정신적인 건강에 부정적인 영향을 심리적으로 미친다고 발표되어 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 한국 이민 주부에 대한 이러한 영역에서의 연구가 매우 부족한 실정이다. 중서부의 주요 도시인 시키고의 도심지에 위치한 11곳의 한국인 교회에서 편의 표출 방법으로 다음과 같은 기준에 맞는 대상자를 선택하였다. 나이는 25-55세 사이, 결혼하여 남편과 함께 살고 있으며, 매주 20시간 이상씩 일하고 있는 여성 등의 기준을 충족시키는 응답자의 수는 282명이었다 대상자들에게는 5가지의 설문 즉 인구통계학적, 우울에 대한 역학 연구, 성 역할 지향성의 지수, 역할 분담 및 대처 전략 등에 관한 질문이었다. 중다회귀분석 (Multiple Regression Analysis)에서 통계학적으로 유의한 관계를 보인 것은 다음과 같았다. 주부의 자녀가 적을수록 우울의 수준은 높았고, 가족의 수입이 많을수록 우울의 수준은 낮았으며, 주부가 일하는 것이 경제적 필요를 충족시키기 위함이라고 스스로 지각(주부들은 일하는 역할이 합법적으로 판단되어지기를 원했고 또 지각했는데 이와 대조하여 일의 역할을 비합법적으로 지각하는 것)할수록 우울의 수준은 더 높았다. 비록 일하는 것이 저녁 늦게 자고 아침 일찍 일어남을 의미할지라도 모든 가사를 완수하기 위하여 열심히 일한다고 하면 할수록 우울의 수준은 더 높았다. 주부가 일의 역할을 합법적으로 지각하면 할수록 남편과 다른 가족의 구성원들에게 도움을 요청하거나 도움을 받는 것을 원하지 않았으며, 일을 더 열심히 하기 위해 대처전략과 우선순위(주부가 일을 전혀 완수 할 수 없을지라도 가정의 어떤 일이 중요하고 어느 것이 두 번째로 중요한지를 결정하는)를 더 잘 설정하고 더 잘 수용하는 것 같았다. 식품 등을 쇼핑하는데에 많은 시간을 소모할수록 우울의 수준은 더 높았다. 이 자료는 스트레스와 대처이론을 지지하고 있다.
