The purpose of this study is to explore the effect of individual difference variables on emotional change after indirect trauma among elderly. After Sewolho Accident in South Korea, we invested emotion of the elderly and collected the same variables from the same sample two months after the accident. In study, we examined how social support, depression, future time perspective, and active aging affect emotion of elderly and which emotions are affected by these four variables. As a result, when compared to the counterpart, those with lower perceived social support, future time perspective, and active aging and higher depression level experienced lower levels of positive emotion and higher level of negative emotion after indirect disaster experience. Overall, we could certify that social support, future time perspective, and active aging functioned as protective factors, whereas depression functioned as a risk factor. Implications and limitations for our findings were discussed.

The objective of this study is to present the academic implications and developmental direction of the police assigned for special guard system through big data analysis on the objective and macroscopic viewpoint of the media. As research method, this study conducted the analysis on 'police assigned for special guard' and the analysis of related words that would visualize the keywords highly related to keyword trend and news. Also, after dividing the period into the 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s, the number of relevant articles in each period was drawn for understanding the flow. In the results of this study, the perception of media report of police assigned for special guard was about the recruitment of police assigned for special guard, and relevant events/accidents, which showed the coexistence of positive interest in the recruitment of police assigned for special guard and negative image of events/accidents related to police assigned for special guard. As a result, however, the necessity and demand for police assigned for special guard are increasing. Thus, the police assigned for special guard should be engaged in work after carefully thinking of its role in charge of ethical responsibility and safety as an axis for maintaining the national safety and social order.

This paper investigates whether the announcement effect of seasoned equity offering is affected by management performance. We used Korean stock market data from 2000 to 2007 to analyze the possible relation between net income and seasoned equity offerings announcement effect. The sample of 308 firms are selected for the study from the original population of 750 seasoned equity offering announcements. and We analysis this article through event studty of Brown and J.Warner. We divide the data into two groups. - the previous offerings year's positive net income group and negative income group. Both positive and negative net income samples affect stock price positively. However, the CAR for the negative net income offerings becomes zero around 25days after the announcement date. To analyze the impact of accounting income on the seasoned equity offering announcement effects fully, we introduce a cross-sectional regression analysis by setting the cumulative abnormal returns as a dependant variable and net income as an explanatory variable. The beta coefficient of the net income shows a statistical significance. These results can be considered as an evidence to support our hypothesis.

An Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is a well-trained emergency responder to provide emergency medical services to the critically ill and injured patient. In various situations, EMT may destroy potential physical evidences associated with the crime scene or determination of real cause of death. This study was aimed to evaluate the educational need of forensic medicine in Korean EMT. Questionnaires were administered to 592 EMTs during March 2007. The response rate was 60.3%(357 EMTs). In questionnaires there were 13 questions regarding the general characteristics, 16 questions about roles of EMTs related with forensic circumstances, 9 questions about the education related to forensic medicine. Questionnaires rated on a 4-point Likert scale or 5-point Likert scale. Most of 119 rescue EMTs had experienced with situations related to crime or unexpected sudden death. EMTs had arrived to the scenes earlier than police and complained of some difficulties related with deficit of forensic knowledge. EMTs wanted to receive continuous educations about forensic medicine. In order to reduce dissatisfaction with EMTs roles and to improve crime scene preservations, Emergency Medical Services policies should provide regular educational curriculum by forensic pathologists and promote legal responsibilities for 119 rescue EMTs.

This study selected the Marine Corps camp accident in 2013 as its subject and analyzed it in order to explore the relevance of media framing on discourse on the safety of outdoor experience activities. Data were collected from search sites provided by news coverage data from March 26, 2010 when the sinking of the South Korean Navy corvette Cheonan occurred in South Korea, which had seen a surge in Marine Corps experience camps, to July 21, 2013, a few days after the Marine Corps camp accident. Data about a total of 211 cases 138 cases before the Marine Corps camp accident, and 73 cases after the accident were inductively analyzed. According to the results, news coverages on the Marine Corps camp were largely divided into positive framing that glamorized outdoor experience activities before the accident and negative framing after the accident. To put it concretely, the framing before the accident tended to glamorize outdoor experience activity as the best educational program which helped the participants to enhance their patience and sense of independence through boot camp experience, thereby increasing their self-esteem and arousing their cooperative spirit as members of society. However, after the accident media framing tended to publicize insensitivity to safety. The media framing characterized by dualistic coverage is considered to be an obstacle to the spread of safety culture, which is required in South Korean society. Therefore, media need to maintain more cool-headed and objective attitudes when reporting news.

The present study examined the variations in personality variables according to different types for the Korean view of the afterlife, including 'extinction type', 'the other world-oriented transmigration type', 'heaven/hell type' and 'obscurity type'. The results may be summarized as follows: (1) 'the other world-oriented transmigration type' and 'heaven/hell type' showed significantly stronger belief in a just world than 'extinction type', (2) 'extinction type' and 'obscurity type' showed more external attribution for accidents than 'heaven/hell type', (3) there was no difference in unrealistic optimism levels, (4) depending upon the types for the view of the afterlife, not only preferred self-enhancing biases but also positive illusions which related to life satisfaction were different, (5) 'extinction type' showed stronger risk-taking tendency than 'heaven/hell type'. These results were explained in terms of features that belong to each afterlife view. Finally, we discussed the limitation of this study and the directions for future study.

프로젝트에서 리스크 관리란 프로젝트 진행 시 발생가능성이 있고, 프로젝트에 긍정적 또는 부정적 영향력을 가진 이슈를 미리 발굴하여, 효과적으로 관리하기 위한 기법이다. 이런 점에서 리스크 관리는 프로젝트 목적 달성 즉 성공을 위한 수단이며, 예기치 못한 사건에 대한 사후대책 보다는 사전대책의 특성을 가지고 있다. 이러한 리스크 관리에 대하여 건설, 금융, 국방, 공공 분야의 프로젝트에서는 그 중요성을 인식하여 다양한 분야의 연구가 활발히 진행 중이고 현장에서도 활용하고 있으나, 소프트웨어 개발 프로젝트에서는 아직 그 중요성에 대한 인식이 부족하고, 현장에서의 활용도 저조하다. 반면 소프트웨어 개발 프로젝트에 대한 고객의 요구사항(비용절감, 일정 단축, 품질 향상, 신기술 적용등)은 점점 복잡해지고, 정교해지고 있어 제한된 리소스로 개발을 진행해야 하는 프로젝트 팀 입장에서는 프로젝트 성공에 대한 부담감이 점점 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 리스크 관리를 수행한 프로젝트와 그렇지 않은 프로젝트의 사례를 비교하여 리스크 관리가 프로젝트 성공에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구하였다.

New product preannouncement through global supply chain management and international strategic alliances is a critical issue for firm's survive and gaining the competitive advantage in the global smart-phone market. To identify the impact of exploration alliance and exploitation alliance on the short-term's Firm Performance, respectively, This study implemented the event study and the cross sectional regression analysis, focusing on the case of Galaxy Note series. Research results identified that new technologies by exploration alliance and the existing technologies through exploitation alliance have a positive effect on the short-term's performance of vendors related. Furthermore, information for the new products showed higher the excess earning rate than information related to the existing technologies. This implies the firms that provides new technologies have a stronger innovative ability than the companies serving the existing technologies, recognizing as a positive signal in the market. Finally, this study implicates that new technologies by exploration alliance enhances innovative abilities from new product preannouncement, and is a critical variable that can determines whether to survive in the market.

The purpose of this study is to prepare the basic information of teacher training through the special education teachers' present execution status and awareness on positive behavior intervention support for the student with disabilities. The results of the study as follows: First, the rate of teachers having high concern on students' behavioral management was 22.9%, and the rate of teachers taking median concern was 66%. And the teachers obtained the information on problem management including positive behavior support by publications or teacher training. Second, the importance of individual interventions valuated significantly which presented mostly more 4 point. But relatively the point of application possibility was lower than the point of importance evaluation. Third, the rate of application as 70% among total research participants presented to be used the most in all individual interventions on positive behavior support. And on the effectiveness, the teachers answered that 23 interventions were effective. But, on the facts of monitoring and assessment of behaviors, the special education teachers negatively evaluated the effectiveness. Results are discussed with previous research, contributions to future directions, and implications in interventions for students with disabilities.

본 연구는 코로나 팬데믹과 같은 외부 환경의 영향뿐만 아니라 경쟁 환경 및 시장변화에 적절하게 대응하지 못하는 등 역량부족의 문제로 사업 실패률이 높아진 소상공인들의 성공적인 재기를 돕고자 이들에게 요구되는 역량을 모델링하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 1977년부터 2022년까지 발행된 관련 문헌을 분석하였고 7인의 재도전 소상공인을 대상으로 행동사건인터뷰(BEI)를 진행하였으며, 역량개발 및 HRD 전문가를 섭외하여 세 차례에 걸처 초점집단인터뷰(FGI)를 실시하는 과정을 통해 역량초안을 도출하였다. 이를 바탕으로 12명의 관련분야(창업, 소상공인, 심리/역량) 전문가를 섭외하여 3회에 걸친 델파이기법(Delphi Analysis)을 통해 재도전 소상공인의 성공적인 재기에 도움이 되는 역량을 2개의 역량군(소상공인, 실패회복), 8개의 세부역량(사업기회포착, 사업기획, 사업차별화, 운영관리, 판로개척, 제품과 서비스 연구개발, 긍정적 자기조절, 실패경험 극복 및 대처), 22개의 역량요소, 72개의 지식·기술·태도(KSA)가 표시된 행동지표로 도출하였다. 이와 같이 진행된 본 연구는 국내 최초로 재도전 소상공인에게 요구되는 역량을 구체화했다는데 학술적 의미가 있다. 또한 본 연구 결과는 재도전 소상공인 대상 역량기반 교육프로그램을 개발하거나 지원 프로그램에 적합한 대상자 선별하는 등에서 활용될 수 있으며 소상공인 스스로 사업 성공을 위해 역량을 진단하며 자기개발을 촉진하는데 활용할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.
