Development of light sources has been constantly grown for a high efficacy and long life. And, the design of luminaires has ben developed for the reflection and refraction of light mechanism. But it has been not enough to study for the refraction of light mechanism. Therefore, this study aims to study for the refraction of light mechanism to using Monte-Carlo method and Ray-tracing method. In addition, the purpose of this study is to shu calculation process for development of 3 dimensional planar prism design algorithm in orer to use the results of photometric data that is able to obtain various luminous intensity distribution.

A study to assess and show applications of the easy lighting constructions of the new technics has presented in this paper we have taken the present men-power to determine the optimum levels of the selected labour cost and analysis of the unit prices on the new developed lighting device for modularized to unit length, named Lite-way.

This paper describes the problem generated in PLS luminous flux measurement with integrating sphere. In RS case, we don't use the center position of the sphere but side position for flux test The difference of the lamp position makes the luminous flux difference of same light source. We confirmed the phenomenon with three other kinds of lamps and ensured the repeatability and reliability of this work at two laboratories. finally, the correction factor which should be applied for the PLS test at Side position was calculated.

Due to its increased importance, outdoor lighting has been installed even for residental area. For the most part, more outdoor lightings are being installed for those houses designed to accommodate people since 2000. On this respect, quantitative analysis is conducted after finding the cases of outdoor lighting installed for residental area until nu. The cases of 24 residental areas we investigated to find the specific feature of outdoor lightings. This type of design analysis will serve as an attempt to set the stage for future studies.

In this paper we investigated the method of examining the accelerated life test on LED traffic signal module by the temperature. The longevity presumption of the LED type signal light by a general heat cycle test used and executed cycle when it was done to longevity by the heat cycle test number and the acceleration factor of a real system requirements of this heat cycle test. Therefore, it reports on the introduction of the acceleration type from which the LED traffic signal module is done here to clarify the above-mentioned acceleration factor with the object and the acceleration factor is requested the test atmosphere actually in the system requirements.

The number of people over sixty five years old is rising steadily and the residential facilities for elderly people are continuously increasing. For many elderly people, losing their ability to see well means losing independence. Good lighting environment can help elderly people's Independent life. This research has been done with a purpose of suggestion the methodology of lighting design for elderly people. For this purpose, the basic knowledge to develop lighting design guidelines of residential facilities for elderly people are prepared through literature review.

The characteristic of carbon nano fiber (CNF) as electron emitters was described. Carbon nano fiber (CNF) of herringbone was prepared by thermal chemical vapor deposition(CVD), mixed with binders and conductive materials, and then were formed by screen-printing process. In order to increase effectively field emissions, the surface treatment of rubbing & peel-off was applied to the printed CNF emitters on cathode electrode. The measurements of field emission properties were carried out by using a diode structure inline vacuum chamber. CNF of herringbone type showed good emission properties that a turn on field was as low as
$2.5V/{\mu}m$ and current density was as large as$0.15mA/cm^2$ of$4.5V/{\mu}m$ with electric field. After the vacuum packaged panel of 5-inch in diagonal, the measured white brightness was as high as$7000cd/m^2$ at 1900V of anode and 700V of gate voltage. -
전선에서 전압강하는 열 손실을 의미한다. 이 열은 절연체의 특성을 변화시켜 절연성능을 저하시키게 되고 나아가 누전, 감전, 정전 및 화재 등의 사고를 일으키는 원인이 되기도 한다. 그러므로 전압강하에 대한 최적화 설계는 전기설비의 안전성과 경제성을 보장하는 중요한 요소가 되고 있다. 이에 저압의 전기설비인 가로등, 빌딩, 지하철역사 등 공공의 안전확보가 요구되는 다중 분산부하계통에서의 전압강하가 전기배선에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 안전성 및 경제성 확보를 위한 전압강하산정 프로그램 및 최적화 방안을 연구 제시하고자 한다.

This paper presents a scheme on the characteristics of induction motor under the combination of linear & non-linear loads at the three phase 4-wire power distribution system. Under the combination operation of single & three phase load, voltage unbalance will be generated and current unbalance will be more severe by the dropped voltage quality. All power electronic converters used in different types of electronic systems can increase harmonic disturbances by injecting harmonic currents directly into the feeder grid of three phase 4-wire. Harmonic current may cause torque to decrease. Moors may also overheat or become noisy and torque oscillation in the rotor can lead to mechanical resonance and vibration.

In this paper the thermal aging characteristics of transformer fluid were considered. First, the temperature rise characteristic in transformer winding was discussed. The temperatures were rapidly increased immediately with applying load and then the temperature was followed the exponential temperature rise model. Next, Capacitance and leakage current characteristics of the transformer fluid were measured during the over-loading operation. The capacitance of vegetable fluid and leakage current were evidently increased wit aging time. So the simple methods could be applied to diagnosis of the transformer aging

본 논문에서는 공동주택에 적합한 인하도선시스템과 접지시스템 설계를 위한 기본적 사항에 대하여 고찰하였다. 공동주택의 철근구조체는 전기적 연속성을 갖지만 철근들끼리의 결속선에 의한 접속은 전자기계력에 대한 내력이 부족하다. 따라서 전용의 인하도선을 설치하고 이들을 건물 양 측벽의 철근구조체와 본딩하여 낙뢰전류가 인하도선 및 철근구조체에 분산되어 흐르게 하는 인하도선시스템을 제시하였다. 한편 공동주택의 접지시스템은 건물기초접지극과 피뢰설비를 위한 환형 접지극으로 각각 구성하고 이들을 서로 본딩하는 접지시스템을 제시하였다. 또한 공동주택 각동의 건물기초접지극을 공동구의 철근구조체나 접지선을 이용하여 서로 연결함으로서 공동주택 단지에 거대한 총괄접지시스템을 구현하는 방안을 제시하였다. 하지만 이러한 피뢰시스템을 구축하기 위해서는 완벽한 본딩시스템의 구축이 전제되어야 한다.

In this paper, developed a uninterruptible hotline tools and method for replacement of strain pole crossarm on overhead distribution line. For practical use of developed tools, following direct hot-line methods were proposed: 'Direct hot-line method for replacement of pin pole crossarm', 'Direct hot-line method for alteration of crossarm' and 'Crossarm replacement method in uninterruptible cable displacement area'. These methods were proposed more simple and safe working on hotline job.

현재 전력설비에 사용되고 있는
$SF_6$ 가스는 절연 및 소호성능이 우수하고 회복특성이 뛰어나기 때문에 각종 전력기기의 절연매체로서 널리 사용되고 있다. 하지만 산업사회의 발달로 인하여 도시의 공간 활용의 효율성 측면에서 전력기기들의 소형화, 지중화 및 고 신뢰화가 시도되고 있으며, 또한 온실가스에 대한 규제로서 '도쿄 의정서'가 정식 발효됨에 따라 환경문제로 인하여 전력설비의$SF_6$ 가스의 유출 최소화, 대체 절연물질 개발 등의 친환경 재료의 개발이 새롭게 대두되고 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는$SF_6$ 를 액화시켜 기존의$SF_6$ 가스와 액체$SF_6(LSF_6)$ 의 절연파괴특성을 측정/분석하여$SF_6$ 의 대체물질로$LSF_6$ 의 가능성을 검토하고, 혹한 지역에서 운용되고 있는$SF_6$ 이용 전력설비의 온도저하에 따른 문제점을 구명하였다. -
The calculation of depth and duration of a sag is in both methods based on two simple assumptions. One is that due to the short circuit, the voltage drops to a low value immediately magnitude. Another is that when the fault is cleared. the voltage recovers immediately. These assumptions, however, do not hold in the case of a substantial part of the load consisting of electrical motors like in many industrial power systems. During the short circuit, the motors will slow down. Their reacceleration after the fault will increase the load current and thus prolong the voltage sag. This paper will discuss some of the aspects of the influence of induction motors on voltage sags.

A scanned Fabry-Perot(F-P) filter and a Multi-Channel Wavelength Locker(MCWL) were used to interrogate fiber Bragg grating sensor array. When the F-P filter scans over the MCWL which works as a multi-reference the temporal peaks profiles correspond to the locking wavelengths. To solve the linearity, stability, and accuracy problems caused by the nonlinear response of F-P filter, a polynomial fitting algerian was used to calculate the relationship between the peak locations and the wavelengths in all the scanning range. Then from the reflected peaks locations and the best fitting line, the Bragg wavelengths can be obtained. The measurement linearity was greatly enhanced with wavelength resolution of about 4 pm in 10Hz scanning frequency.

In this paper, the investigation of characteristic impedance on low voltage distribution system is described The residential area of LV distribution systems is researched for the modeling. At frequency range from 1MHz to 30Mhz, the input characteristic impedances of low-voltage distribution network are obtained with experiments. The low-voltage distribution system based on the model is built at the laboratory building. S parameters are measured by performing experiments. Finally, the characteristic impedances are reported.

With the fast growing number of skyscrapers and large ultrahigh apartment complexes, the concerns on fire caused by electricity also grow. Among about 30,000 fires recorded annually, roughly one third of them are hewn to be caused by electricity. If one of such high and densely populated buildings or apartments catches a fire, the consequence can potentially be quite catastrophic. However, with the rapid development of the techniques in the fields of communications and computers, electric power distribution systems for such buildings and apartments have been largely digitalized in recent years. More detailed informations on the operating status are now available, which enables more sophisticated monitoring and early detection of potential fire caused by electricity. In this paper, we present an inference technique that can be used as one of the basic techniques in building intelligent distribution panel systems that can effectively monitor, prevent and detect the occurrence of fire caused by electricity. The technique can accommodate production rules in linguistic expressions on high abstraction levels. Fire finding strategies can be easily modified to provide more effective countermeasures. Simulation results show that inference capabilities and thus the capability of fire monitoring in power distribution panel systems can be significantly enhanced with our approach.

We prosed a distributed fiber-optic sensor system with 10 fiber Bragg gratings, for over temperature protection relay in power systems. We applied Gaussian line-fitting algorithm to compensate the distortion effects in the wavelength-scanned Farby-Perot filter demodulation scheme. Compared with the highest-peak-detection method, the proposed algorithm was proved to minimize the random errors of distorted PD profiles. From experimental results, the overall measurement error was within 1 % compared with the reference thermocouple and the linearity error was less than 0.37 %.

We developed the electronic ballast for the street HID lames with the leakage current detection and circuit breaker function. By detecting the leakage current and breaking the system we are protected from the electric shock and the ballast is safe from the electric damage at the time of the continuous reignition state.

In this paper, the dimmable electronic ballast for the 250W metal halide lamp was realized by three stage structure. We developed stable the dimming ballast by using a Micro-controller, and measured the output wattage in the dimming range(illumination) from 100% to about 20%. Under the 35% dimming level, it is possible to cause the redution of lamp's life. The dimming performance can reduce the light system's wattage but can reduce the luminance efficiency (lux/watt).

야간 운전시 전조등의 밝기 변동에 대한 운전자의 인식 연구를 위하여 먼저 실내 실험실을 설계 및 구축하고 전조등의 순간적인 밝기 변동과 피험자의 뇌파 측정을 위한 시스템을 구축하였다. 실내 실험실의 설계를 위해 야간 운전시 전조등에 의한 운전자의 순응휘도를 먼저 결정한 후, 순응휘도를 바탕으로 실내 실험실의 바닥면, 수직벽, 측벽 등의 반사율을 계산하고, 실내 실험실의 수직벽 상에 출현할 장애물의 크기와 밝기를 계산하였다. 또한 피험자의 뇌파 측정을 위해서는 32개의 뇌파 측정 채널과 1개의 트리거 채널을 지니고 있는 WEEG-32를 사용하였고, 전조등의 순간적인 전압 변동을 위해서는 HP 6032-A를 사용하였다. 또한 HP 6032-A와 WEEG-32를 제어하기 위한 콘트롤러를 제작하였고 본 실험에 들어가기 전 예비실험을 행하여 실험 시간, 피험자 휴식 시간, 구체적 실험 순서, 전조등의 전압변화 패턴, 장애물 경로 등을 결정하였다.

운전자의 시인성, 뇌파, 심리평가를 위한 실내 실험실 및 측정 시스템을 구축하고 예비실험 결과를 분석한 후 운전자의 시인성을 측정하였다. 본 실험을 위하여 남, 녀 각각 20명의 피험자를 선발하였으며 이들의 연령은 피험자의 연령에 의한 측정오차를 최소화하기 위하여 모두 20대로 제한하였다. 그리고 본 실험 측정결과를 전압패턴에 따라 피험자의 장애물 인식 반응속도를 분석하였고, 남-녀 성별 간의 장애물 인식 반응속도 차이를 분석하였다. 또한 전조등의 전압변동에 의한 밝기 비율에 따라서 피험자의 장애물 인식 반응속도를 분석하였고, 전압변동이 없을 때의 장애물 인식 반응속도를 기준으로 상대적인 장애물 인식 지연시간을 분석하였다. -
In this study, psychological assessment was carried out to investigate the driver's psychological characteristics by the change of the headlight. The participants were 20 men and 20 women in their 20s and thirty-two different conditions in combinations of waveform of light, voltage, and alteration time were used. The questionnaire for the assessment was evaluated by 8 subjective items and 5-point SD criteria of 19 pair's adjective. The results were as follows. 1. The assessment results from SD method indicated 3 factors by factor analysis, and it was shown that A waveform had significances in a sense of security and impetus and B waveform had a significance in a sense of security The levels of the limitations for the voltage change were 12V in the factor of a sense of security and 11V in the factor of a sense of impetus for A waveform, 12.6V in the factor of a sense of security for B waveform. 2. The results of the subjective assessment showed that the limitation of A waveform's brightness change was 12V. Moreover, the limitations of voltage changes were 12.6V for B waveform brightness change, 12V for discomfort, 12.6V for darkness. And the limitation of C waveform's brightness change was 12V.

In this study, tests of brain waves were carried out to investigate the driver's physiological characteristics by the change of the headlight. The participants were 20 men in their 20s and twenty-three different conditions in combinations of waveform of light, voltage, and alteration time were used. The measurement of the brain waves was performed by internationally standardized 10-20 method using LXE3232-RF. The results were analyzed by Power Spectrum Analysis using alpha-, and beta-wave and by the analysis of different brain domains using Brain wave Map. The results were as follows. 1. From the results of the Brain wave Map analysis, it was suggested that A waveform increases mental stress and B waveform affects mental and visual stress. The longer the stimulation time, the more stress level was detected. 2 The voltage alteration time of B waveform should be kept less than 1500msec, and the voltage should not fall below 11.5V.

전조등의 밝기 변동에 대한 운전자의 시인성 및 뇌파측정, 심리평가를 행하고 이를 바탕으로 전조등 밝기변화의 한계값과 운전자의 안전성을 고려한 평가 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 전조등의 밝기 변화 한계치는 심리평가의 설문지 작성을 통한 주관적 평가를 바탕으로 밝기 변화, 눈 깜박임, 불쾌감 등에 대한 한계값을 제시하였다. 그리고 뇌파측정을 바탕으로 정신적, 시각적 스트레스에 대한 한계값을 제시하였으며, 운전자의 시인성 측정을 바탕으로 차량을 장애물의 위협 없이 안전하게 정지하기 위한 한계값을 제시하였다. 안전성 평가 알고리즘은 장애물을 인식하고 브레이크 페달을 밟기 시작하기 까지 최대한 허용할 수 있는 시간인, 여유 시간 이내에 전압변동을 완료하고 최초의 정상 전압으로 복귀하는 경우와 그렇지 않은 경우를 적용할 수 있는 2종류의 알고리즘을 개발하였다. -
조명기구가 사용되는 장소와 용도에 맞는 배광을 얻어내기 위한 기구를 설계하는 과정에서 반사, 굴절 등의 메카니즘을 이용한다. 현재의 조명기구 설계는 주로 반사 메카니즘을 이용한 반사판의 설계에 치중되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 굴절 메카니즘을 이용하여 빛의 진행에 따른 굴절과 투과의 관계를 분석하고 조명기구에 접목시킬 수 있는 다양한 각도와 형상을 갖는 프리즘을 설계하는 방법을 제시하였다.

소자가 발광하는 형태를 가지며 매우 작은 크기의 광원인 LED는 특유의 형태 때문에 자체의 발광특성을 점광원으로 가정하여 부가적인 광학제품들이 설계되어 왔다. 하지만, 실제적인 설계에서는 이러한 점광원으로의 가정에서 오차를 불러일으킬 수 있으며, 세밀한 제어를 요구하는 조명시스템의 제어에서는 작은 오차라 해도 큰 에러를 발생시킬 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 점광원이 아닌 실제적인 부피를 지니는 광원으로서의 LED를 분석하여 그에 대한 2차적인 광학 시스템의 설계법을 제시하고자한다.

This paper analyzes the effect of the energy saving and evaluates the economics using High Efficiency lighting. About 18 percent (17,000GWh) of total power demands in Korea m consumed i]l the lighting field. There isa lot of energy potential that can be saved because the power demand isolwer relatively than the others parts. The existing lighting that its length and electric energy are 32[mm] and 40[w] can alternate with high efficiency lighting which its length and electric energy are 26[mm] and 32[w]. Two Lightings is measuring the illumination and the electric energy and then are analyzed into the effect of the lighting saving by measurement.

A few ten mW white LED can substitute for the indicator light source and it is required to study several watt multi-chip semiconductor light sources in order to replace the light sources for general illumination such as incandescent lights and fluorescent lanes. Since the optical technology used for several mW white LED light source uses only 30% to 52% of the light it is required to develop the design technology of optical system and lens to improve the efficiency more than 80% for insuring the high power of white LED. In this paper, we designed and fabricated new structure reflector to increase the efficiency and is easy to make high power multi-chip LED lamp.

The advantages of LED(Light Emitting Diode) are low electric power consumption, long life time and excellent visibility. And a LED light source does not include the mercury(Hg) and or a filament, it is expected as an environmentally friendly next generation light source with its good reliability. In order to design and develope the flash lantern using LED for aironautical ground lights, technical trends and new standards about the aironautical ground lights were inspected, and power consumption and flash time for effective luminous intensity of aironautical ground lights were analyzed.

N-Seoul Tower which is a symbol of Seoul installed new lights while remodeling. The purpose of this study is to help other buildings and towers to design by lighting design renewal process. The remodeled N-Seoul Tower would become a landmark of Seoul as a typical complex cultural space.

After an incandescent lamp developed as a first light source using electric energy in 1879, various lamps have been developed and promoted for usual convenience. Although lots of light sources have been developed for the past centry, among them some were used widely but some were hardly used contray to the initial expectations. Incandescent, fluorescent, HID and LED lamps which are normally used these days were treated as new type of light sources and very difficult to be popularized at the initial stage. In spite of the initial difficulties, these light sources and luminaries are still so popular because all of them were improved to be used easily by reflecting human's mental and physiological state. Like this when new light sources and luminaries are developed, a careful consideration, if these are proper for the surroundings or not, must be preceded. This study finally derived development factors of PLS developed in domestic to be played an important role in future light by analyzing product trends, social and lighting development changes.

유전자 알고리즘은 탐색 공간에서 새로운 샘플을 찾기 위하여 선택과 재조합의 연산을 사용하는 모집단 기반 모델이다. 교차 연산은 최적화 알고리즘인 유전자 알고리즘(GA)에서 가장 중요한 부분을 차지한다. 이 논문에서는 교차 연산 수행 시 필요한 교차점 위치 조절이 수렴에 어떠한 영향을 주는지 분석해 보고자 한다. 교차점 위치를 세대 진행수와 수렴 정도에 따라 특정 위치로 조절한 방법이 일반적인 확률로 교차점 위치를 정하여 최적화를 수행한 경우보다 전역 해를 더 빨리 찾아감을 볼 수 있었다.

The recognition of emotionality becomes so important that it is called 'emotional consumption society'. The emotional design, which is mostly concerned about users consensus and experiences, is understood from a interactive point of view, human, and space. Today, the emotional design is a new paradigm. From this point of view, this paper, which presents patterns analysis of outdoor lighting by the emotional design, applies expression techniques of the emotional design in Analysis process of outdoor lighting patterns. Also, this paper shows examples at analysis process.

Lightscape is a visual rendering software enabling higher dimensional 3D image production using rendering as well. However, direct light simulation showed that more realistic feature of material-specific texture or color could be achieved by adjusting options. Accordingly, this study is to generate optimal values of options and achieve more realistic images by varying such values according to individual materials in order to create better quality simulation images using Lightscape.

The emergency lighting plan for underground space should be done with consideration of characteristics of the space. Through the Space Syntax theory, it is possible to do quantitative analysis of the space. Integration and intelligibility are major index of this theory and we can use them as emergency lighting design parameters. For this study, human behaviors and survivor's evacuation routes in fire emergencies are analyzed through literature review. Based on those results, this study suggests the methodology of emergency lighting plan in underground space.

This study aims to measure amount of the reduction ratio of energy consumptions by the daylight responsive dimming systems, which uses daylighting and electric lighting. The results of this study show that the reduction ratio of electric power is better 'clear sky' by sky condition and 'window side of room' by zoning. When calculating reduction ratio of energy consumptions with used times in real office space, it tells that the result of real office was higher ratio than that of experimental space. For this study which presents efficient use of daylight in office environment, it will be basis of improving energy performance.

본 연구에서는 새로 고안된 NOT-AND 논리에 의한 방전 논리 gate PDP의 입력 DC 방전특성에 대해 고찰하고 동작특성을 해석하였다. 새로 고안된 방전 AND gate는 방전 경로에 따른 전극사이의 전위차의 변화로 AND 출력을 유도한다. 이러한 방전 논리 소자를 가지는 PDP에서는 직류방전이 논리게이트의 역할을 한다. 실험결과 이 DC 입력방전을 위해 priming 방전을 인가한 경우가 인가하지 않은 경우에 비해 방전지연시간이 1/3로 단축되며 방전개시전압은 1/2로 감소하였다. 또한 이 priming 방전은 방전종료후
$30{\mu}s$ 정도까지 영향을 미친다. 그리고 이 직류방전의 시간적, 위치적 방전특성을 측정한 결과, 방전에 따른 시간적 거리의 변화는 상당한 영향을 미치나 인접 전극들의 위치적인 영향은 거의 미미하다는 결론을 얻었다. -

$1.3{\mu}s$ 이하로 좁아지면 어드레스 방전의 벽전하 대신에 공간전하로 서스테인 방전이 유도되므로 각 전극에 인가하는 펄스의 전압조건이 달라져야 한다는 것을 알았다 또한 주사 펄스폭이 좁아지면 어드레스 방전개시전압이 크게 상승함을 알았다. 실험결과 12개의 서브필드를 가지며 1080개의 주사선을 가지는 full-HDTV급 PDP를 구동시킬 수 있는 조건인$0.7{\mu}s$ 수준의 주사 펄스폭 이상에서 약 10V의 일정한 서스테인 구동마진이 얻어짐을 알았다. -

Offline switching Power supplies have high voltage and high current switching waveforms that generate Electromagnetic Interference(EMI) in the form of both conducted and radiated emissions. Consequently, all off-line power supplies must be designed to attenuate or suppress EMI emissions below commonly acceptable limits. Electrodeless fluorescent lamp's ballasts have AC/DC flyback converter, so we must control the EMI emissions.

Electronic ballast uses various resonant type filters, which perform many important functions such as filtering the high frequency harmonics, shaping the proper lamp current waveform and regulating the lamp power. In this paper, characteristics of resonant type filters are reviewed and the matching problem between inverter and resonant filter are described. Transfer function which is always necessary for the circuit parameter design is derived in case of LCC filter type as an example.

본 논문에서는 250W 메탈핼라이드램프와 250W 고압나트륨램프에 대하여 전원전압 변동에 따른 수명측정시험을 수행하였다. 시험 전압은 220V와 220V의 80%인 176V 두 가지 전압을 사용하였다. 시험 방법은 100시간 에이징 후, 일주일마다 광속을 측정하였다. 전원전압을 변경하여 연속점등시 조도측정시험 결과는 메탈핼라이드램프의 경우 정격전압의 80%에서는 정격전압의 경우보다 초기광속의 70%에 도달하는 시간이 약 30% 단축되는 것으로 조사되었다. 그러나 고압나트륨램프의 경우는 전압변동과 수명과의 관계를 파악할 수 없었다.

본 논문은 Spice해석을 이용하여 push-pull inverter 방식의 전자식 안정기회로를 해석하고 안정기를 설계 제작하였다. Spice 시뮬레이션을 사용함으로서 전자식 안정기의 설계에 있어서 전기적 특성을 예측, 평가 할 수 있었고 이를 바탕으로 145W저압 UV램프용 전자식 안정기를 개발하였다.

In this paper, I try to measure the electrical characteristics of PV cell for lanterns with solar simulator and simulated with PC1D software. 1 keep my eye on the characteristics variation of PV cell as a temperature change. Therefore, I try to increase a temperature of controlled block from$10^{\circ}C\;to\;50^{\circ}C$ while measuring the PV cell. As a result A variation caused by voltage have an effect on the efficacy of PV cell. Hence, it is an important variable when a designer plan to make a solar cell for lanterns. -
In this paper, a new design using a simulation method was proposed. And to estimate its validity, various electronic and optical data were measured after making a 150[W] electronic ballast for high pressure sodium lamps. Using PSpice 9.1, the best solutions of various parameters such as the resonant frequency, the lamp output voltage, and the current of the electronic ballast were obtained. The power factor of the system was 99.8[%], the crest factor 1.44, the THD 4.99[%], and the weight 0.5[kg]. These are very good characteristics compared with a conventional HPS Lamp ballast.

EEFL(External Electrode Fluorescent Lamp) for LCD displays are analyzed on electrical and optical characteristics by various electrode length. The electrodes of EEFL are coated at the outside of the glass tube. Brightness and efficiency of the EEFL are affected on lamp impedance characteristic. So, the experimental models are proposed for analysis and measurements of the brightness and efficiency of the lamps according to the electrode length. The sample of LCD backlight unit is used for these experiments, EEFL arrayed BLU of 32' for commercial TV display. The parameters of the experiments were quantised for simple result reading as the length of electrodes as 15, 23 and 30 mm. The inverter was designed and manufactured in the laboratory as the Full-Bridge switching inverter. The feature of the output were measured on voltages about 1000 - 1400V at the currents of 11 - 29 mA and the brightness
$15,000\;cd/m^2-40,000\;cd/m^2$ . The experiments have shown that the brightness are increased by increasing of the electrode lengths which have the lamp currents increased. But at an certain conditions, the brightness and efficiency were decreased because of unmatched between the inverter output and lamp impedance. The optimum applications of the EEFL BLU of 32' in this experiments have been shown to choose the parameters for driving frequencies of 100 kHz - 150 kHz, the brightness of$18,000-19,000\;cd/m^2$ and efficiencies of 40 - 45 lm/w. -
Because of the high cost for the active power filter, passive filters have been widly used to absorb harmonic currents of nonlinear loads and can also improve the power factor. They are not often optimal filters because the passive filters are designed with the fixed load conditions. In this paper we proposed the method which only the necessary harmonic filters are operated by detecting the various harmonic current components. By the experimental results using the proposed system for the 500VA rectifier load, we concluded that the researched hybrid filter is cost effective and the performance is better than the passive filter.

It is increased electrical energy consumption with the development of intelligence society in the subway station and thus an energy conservation through efficient use of electricity became more important. This paper shows a reasonable design load density in subway stations, that was made by the systematic and statistical way considering actual conditions, such as investigated electric equipment capacity, peak power consumption, demand factor, etc., for 34 subway stations and 10 electrical design offices. In this dissertation, it is necessary to analyse the key features and general trend from the investigated data. It made an analysis of the feature parameters, such as average, standard deviation, median, maximum, maximum and thus it was carried linear and nonlinear regression analysis.

The number of empty houses during normal working hours is rising. As a result, the number of uninspected electric installations for general use is increasing. To define the potential risk of the electric installation, measurement of leakage current has been getting considered but because the measured leakage current value also contained leakage current by capacitance, the measured value can not be adapted to absolute reference to the installation. Therefore in this paper, the correlation between the condition of electric installation and leakage current were analyzed.

This paper describes the accident analysis by modeling the current transformer mounting in meaium voltage metal-clad switchgear(MCSG). In analyzing the accident the reconstruction at the current transformer mounting(VCB connecting guide) has to be taken into account. The accident was modelled as a 3-phase ground fault mounting between the end plate of a high voltage lines and the safety shutter at the current transformer mounting of the VCB inside the metal clad switchgear. Since the outside maintenance of the metal clad switchgear is restricted by the enclosed compartments, its circumference has to be kept clean. Through the reconstruction results, it was confirmed that the fault of the enclosed switchboard could be reduced when the shutter made of Fe material was changed into an insulation.

We have studied the backward wave oscillator, a power-pulsed generator oscillator at 20 GHz has higher frequency then current one. An absolute instability linear analysis was used for the purpose of designing the slow wave structure. A large diameter of the slow wave structure was adopted to prevent the breakdown brought about by the increase of power density.

High speed electric trains have nonlinear loads including converters and inverters for the contol synchronous motors. Harmonic field measurements have shown that the harmonic contents of a waveform varies with time. Direct application of the harmonic assessment to the snapshot measurements would result in ambiguous conclusions depending on which instant is sampled. A cumulative probablistic approach is the most commonly used method to solve time varying harmonics. This paper provides an in depth analysis on harmonics field measurement of the high speed electric train loads, harmonics assessment by the international harmonic standards IEC 61000-3-6 and IEEE std. 519-1992, and harmonics simulation using EDSA program for the case study.

A hybrid discharge type ozonizer, which is superposed silent and surface discharges, has been designed and manufactured to apply for Nitrogen Oxides(NO) gas removal. The ozonizer consists of three electrodes, and is classified three types of ozonizer by changing applied voltage. Investigation was carried out variance with the flow rate of supplied oxygen gas, discharge power and the sorts of superposed discharge type ozonizer. Moreover,$NO(1200[ppm])/N_2$ gas removal investigation was also conducted to apply for environment improvement field. Two kinds of NO gas removal investigations were conducted. It distinguishes the investigations into NO gas reaction method. According to these studies, maximum removal rate of 100[%] in NO gas was obtained, and 8334[ppm] and 3249[mg/h] of maximum ozone concentration and generation were also obtained respectively. -
This paper presents the reduction methods of penetrated electromagnetic fields through a narrow slot aperture in a planar conducting screen of infinite extent. When a plane wave is excited to the narrow slot, the aperture electric field is controlled by the resistive sheets loading on the slot. The magnitude of the penetrated electromagnetic fields through a narrow slot is controlled by electric field distributions on the slot aperture. The results show that the magnitude of the penetrated electromagnetic field can be effectively reduced by the resistive sheets on the slot aperture.

In this paper variety test results were discussed regarding to the ground potential increase. The tests conducted with a joint box simulating leakage point having an insulator fault. Inside the joint box three-phase cables and one neutral line were connected and the insulator at jointed part was peeled from the one of three-phase cables. The potentials around manhole cover were measured with the variation of manhole material, ground resistance and water resistance when the manhole was flooded. The potentials induced by an electric leakage were drastically decreased with increasing the distance from the leakage location and with less ground resistance.

Usually, equations that calculate ground resistance of earth electrode was already informed well by form of earth electrode. But, when apply on the spot because general expressions are very insufficient at point that calculate exact ground resistance value by variation of earth electrode, and constant value that corrective coefficient for ground resistance calculation is fixed regardless of change of the earth resistivity specially is presented, it is actuality that difficulty is. Therefore, in this study, about these problem, proposed corrective coefficient for calculation of ground resistance according to change of the earth resistivity.

This paper describes the electron energy distribution function characteristics in
$SF_6-Ar$ gas calculated for range of E/N values from$50\sim700[Td]$ by the Monte Carlo simulation(MCS) and Boltzmann equation(BE) method using a set of electron collision cross sections determined by the authors and the values of electron swarm parameters are obtained by time of flight(TOF) method. In this dissertation the results of the combined experimental and theoretical studies designed to understand and predict the spatial growth and transport coefficients for electrons in$SF_6$ and$SF_6-Ar$ mixtures have described. The ionization and attachment coefficients in pure$SF_6$ and$SF_6-Ar$ mixtures have been calculated over the range of 10$SF_6$ molecule and for Ar atom proposed by other authors. The results obtained in this work will provide valuable information on the fundamental behaviors of electrons in weakly ionized gases and the role of electron attachment in the choice of better gases and unitary gas dielectrics or electro negative components in dielectric gas mixtures. -
We introduce the concept of a remote distributed embedded system to integrated fieldbus based control systems in internet/Intranet. As a result fieldbus systems are opened up for remote monitoring, remote maintenance, and remote control applications using state of the art Web-technology. This paper addresses the design of a remote distributed embedded system using Internet and CAN for multi-Induction motor of Building and Industrial field. The fieldbus used the CAN based networked intelligent multi-motor control system using DSP2812 microprocessor. To build such a system, the TCP/IP-CAN Gateway which convert a CAN protocol to TCP/IP protocol and vice verse, was designed. A experimental simulation system consists of a TCP/IP-CAN Gateway in remote place and a command PC ti be connected ti Ethernet.

Interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM) has become a popular choice in electric vehicle applications, due to their excellent power to weight ratio. This paper proposes maximum torque control of IPMSM drive using adaptive learning fuzzy neural network and artificial neural network. This control method is applicable over the entire speed range which considered the limits of the inverter's current md voltage rated value. For each control mode, a condition that determines the optimal d-axis current
$i_d$ for maximum torque operation is derived. This paper considers the design and implementation of novel technique of high performance speed control for IPMSM using adaptive teaming fuzzy neural network and artificial neural network. The hybrid combination of neural network and fuzzy control will produce a powerful representation flexibility and numerical processing capability. Also, this paper proposes speed control of IPMSM using adaptive teaming fuzzy neural network and estimation of speed using artificial neural network. The back propagation neural network technique is used to provide a real time adaptive estimation of the motor speed. The proposed control algorithm is applied to IPMSM drive system controlled adaptive teaming fuzzy neural network and artificial neural network, the operating characteristics controlled by maximum torque control are examined in detail. Also, this paper proposes the analysis results to verify the effectiveness of the adaptive teaming fuzzy neural network and artificial neural network. -
This paper presents speed control of IPMSM drive using neural network(NN) PI controller. In general, PI controller in computer numerically controlled machine process fixed gain. They may perform well under some operating conditions, but not all. To increase the robustness of fixed gain PI controller, NNPI controller proposes a new method based neural network. NNPI controller is developed to minimize overshoot, rise time and settling time following sudden parameter changes such as speed, load torque and inertia. Also, this paper is proposed speed control of IPMSM using neural network and estimation of speed using artificial neural network(ANN) controller. The back propagation neural network technique is used to provide a real time adaptive estimation of the motor speed. The results on a speed controller of IPMSM are presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed gain tuner. And this controller is better than the fired gains one in terms of robustness, even under great variations of operating conditions and load disturbance.

This paper is proposed an efficiency optimization control algorithm for a synchronous reluctance motor which minimizes the copper and iron losses. The design of the speed controller based on adaptive fuzzy-neural networks(AFNN) controller that is implemented using fuzzy control and neural networks. There exists a variety of combinations of d and q-axis current which provide a specific motor torque. The objective of the efficiency optimization controller is to seek a combination of d and q-axis current components, which provides minimum losses at a certain operating point in steady state. It is shown that the current components which directly govern the torque production have been very well regulated by the efficiency optimization control scheme. The proposed algorithm allows the electromagnetic losses in variable speed and torque drives to be reduced while keeping good torque control dynamics. The control performance of the hybrid artificial intelligent controller is evaluated by analysis for various operating conditions. Analysis results are presented to show the validity of the proposed algorithm.

니켈/카드뮴 전지는 우수한 물리적, 전기화학적 특성을 가지고 있기 때문에 개발이후 현재까지 상당히 많은 부분에 사용되고 있다. 현재 고온시 폭발 위험성이 적고 저온시 성능저하가 없어 군장비의 특성상 군용으로 많이 사용되고 있다. 이에 군용 발칸포에 사용할 수 있는 초 고율 니켈-카드뮴 축전지를 개발하였으며, 그 결과 IEC 60632 규격을 만족하는 국내산 초고율 니켈-카드뮴 축전지를 개발하여 각종 산업체 및 군부대에서 고가의 설비와 특수 설비 등을 효율적 관리와 기기 수명연장 많은 도움이 되리라 사려된다.

$SF_6$ 의 압력 변화에 따른 부분방전을 모의하고, 발생되는 부분방전 신호를 절연 진단 방법 중 하나인 UHF법을 이용하여 부분방전 시 방사되는 방사전자파의 스펙트럼을 분석하고, 접지로 흐르는 방전 전류를 측정하여 방전진전 과정을 관측하였다. 본 연구는 GIS 및$SF_6$ 가스를 절연물로 사용하는 전력설비에서 내부압력 변화 시 금속이 물질에 의해 발생되는 절연파괴 사고의 예방진단에 유용한 자료가 되리라 판단된다. -
외과수술용 핸드피스는 현재 국내 외 병원에서 사용되고 있는 수술 장비 중 필수 보유 장비이다. 선진수술 기법인 인공관절대체수술 시 뼈(Bone) 절단, 다듬질, 구멍등 초섬세 가공을 목적으로 하는 기기이다. 기존의 공압식(Air Type)은 수술 시 많은 양의 질소(N2 Gas)가 소모됨으로써 질소탱크 보관에 많은 공간이 필요하고 잦은 교체를 필요로 한다. 또한 기계소음과 공압식 호스의 이동으로 시술자와 환자사이에 불편함이 발생하고 감염의 위험성이 있으므로 최근에는 충전식을 선호하고 있다. 이러한 이유로 기존의 공압식을 대체할 배터리형 외과수술용 핸드피스를 연구하게 되었다.

This paper presents the leakage current characteristics of ZnO varistors exposed to the
$8/20{\mu}s$ lightning impulse currents as functions of the number of injection and amplitude of impulse currents. The surge simulator system ECAT that can generate$8/20{\mu}s$ impulse currents with a peak short-circuit of$5[kA_p]$ was used. Leakage currents flowing through ZnO varistors subjected to the$8/20{\mu}s$ impulse currents were measured under 60 Hz AC voltages. The trend curves of resistive leakage current of ZnO varistors were analytically calculated. -
This paper describes ground surface potential rises and touch voltage. The more soil resistivity of upper layer is lower, the more ground surface potential rise is increased. Ground surface potential rise is increased as the buried depth of ground rod in lowered. Ground surface potential rises were measured in the test site and compared with results by CDEGS program. Touch voltages according to the separation distance of ground rod were measured in four directions. Touch voltages were remarkably changed by separation distance and contact position.

The conception of early streamers is in sufficient and inadequate as a parameter for the determination of any advantage of early streamer emission(ESE) lightning rods versus ordinary lightning rods. Thus, standards for many other national and international lightning protection as well as KS C IEC 61024-1 do not take ESE lightning rods, charge dissipation systems or non-conventional lightning rods. Unfortunately, many non-conventional lightning rods such as ESE lightning rods and charge dissipation systems in Korea are increasingly used in lightning protection of structures including explosive manufacturing buildings, electric generating, transmission and distribution systems. This study attempts to make aware of no advantage of ESE rods and other non-conventional lightning protection systems and to investigate the present status of installations of ESE lightning rods.

This paper deals with the potential interferences between ground rod and counterpoise. The ground potential rise and coefficient of potential interference were measured by using the hemispherical water tank grounding simulator and calculated from CDEGS program as functions of the configuration and size of grounding electrodes and the distance between grounding electrodes. The ground potential un and potential interference coefficient strongly depend on the distance between grounding electrodes, the arrangement and size of grounding electrodes.

ZnO varistor and GDT(gas discharge tube) have proven to be good protective devices because of their flexibility and high reliability. ZnO varistors are characterized by their excellent nonlinear properties. GDTs are used for applications in communication or signaling circuits because they have very low capacitance. Therefore, It is very important to understand the V-I characteristic of ZnO varistor and GDT for designing SPD to protect apparatus or personnel from high transient voltage. This paper gives experimental V-I characteristic data of ZnO varistor and GDT for protecting electronic equipments from surge up to maximum discharge current.

Recently KS documents related to lightning protection were revised complying with the requirements of IEC standards. Lightning protection parts are divided three in IEC, those are arrestor(60099), SPD(61643), and protection facilities(62305). According as international standard is applicable in Korea, type tests, routine tests, and acceptance tests shall be made to demonstrate compliance with the relevant standards. KESRI have installed test equipment which is funded by Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy fit for lightning surge test form 2002, and we introduce the test equipments in detail.

It is concentrated on a methodology to establish a scheme of investment on power distribution systems of components. This paper provides a methodology to estimate the scheme as using a customer interruption cost regarding reliability indices in power distribution systems. The proposed method basically uses the failure rate depending on time for explaining the deterioration of a component. Therefore, the theory of the sensitivity is used for deciding the precedence of the investment to consider an effect of each component's failure rate on the system reliability. After Estimating the sensitivity on component investment cost making incremental reliability level is produced by component's investment cost accumulated according to the precedence of the sensitivity. After that, the failure rate corresponding with reliability level on the curve of investment cost is used as producing the curve of customer interruption cost. Two curves have the crossing point that is proposed to acceptable reliability level for customer and utility. In this paper, the acceptable reliability level for customer with the utility is assessed to analyze customer interruption cost and sensitivity of reliability indices. In conclusion the result of investment based on this method is shown to the reliability level with two cost.

This paper suggests the method for estimating a partial discharge (PD) location using divide of the inside transformer as a grid. The PD location is found swiftly and economically compared with the typical method detecting a PD. The reason is that the location of PD is detected in the section. The estimation of PD location is trained using the Neural Network. JavaNNS(Java Neural Network Simulator) and SNNS(Stuttgart Neural Network Simulator) are used for searching the location of PD. The simulation procedure is following, The transformer is assumed that the case is a regular hexahedron. The sensor is installed in a proper location. A section of PD location is set as a target, and training set is studied with several PD locations in the inside of the transformer. As a result of training process, the learning capability of neural network is excellent. The PD location is detected by division of internal structure of transformer and application of neural network.

This paper studies flicker evaluation considering power quality disturbance. A flicker problem with light device irritates human's eyes. Also, the flicker problem has an influence on adverse effect such as rolling device and rotating device. However, a study of flicker evaluation is not complete. A flicker is measured and evaluated at monitoring point. But we consider power qualify disturbances such as voltage sag and transient that cause fault and inverter/breaker switching. Power quality disturbances affects flicker evaluation. A flicker evaluation index increases. Therefore, we consider power quality disturbances. We detect voltage sag and transient using wavelet and evaluate flicker without flicker index including power quality disturbances.

최근 소득수준이 높아짐에 따라 쾌적한 주거환경에 대한 욕구가 높아짐에 따라 소음에 대한 민원이 증가하고 있는 추세이나, 아직까지 변압기 소음에 대한 체계적인 대책을 세운 사례는 전무한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 변전소의 주 소음원인 변압기의 소음을 예측하기 위하여 소음레벨을 수치적으로 해석하는 변압기 소음예측 프로그램을 개발하였다. 또한 소음민원이 예상되는 한 변전소를 선정하여 소음예측 시뮬레이션과 실제 소음측정을 통하여 그 결과를 비교하였다.

In this paper, arc current controller is designed for the interruption of arc fault current which is occurred in the low voltage network. Arc in electrical network have the characteristics of low current, high impedance and high frequency. Conventional controller does not have the arc current interrupt function. Hence, arc current controller is designed for the interruption of arc fault current.

This paper presents a novel soft-switching PWM utility frequency AC to high frequency AC power conversion circuit Incorporating boost-half-bridge inverter topology, which is more suitable and acceptable for cost effective consumer induction heating applications. The operating principle and the operation modes are presented using the switching mode and the operating voltage and current waveforms. The performances of this high-frequency inverter using the latest IGBTs are illustrated, which includes high frequency power regulation and actual efficiency characteristics based on zero voltage soft switching (ZVS) operation ranges and the power dissipation as compared with those of the previously developed high-frequency inverter. In addition, a dual mode control scheme of this high frequency inverter based on asymmetrical pulse width modulation (PWM) and pulse density modulation (PDM) control scheme is discussed in this paper in order to extend the soft switching operation ranges and to improve the power conversion efficiency at the low power settings. The power converter practical effectiveness is substantially proved based on experimental results from practical design example.

This paper presents soft switching zero voltage switching high frequency inverter for rare gas fluorescent lamp using dielectric-barrier discharge phenomenon. The simple high-frequency inverter can completely achieve stable zero voltage soft switching (ZVS) commutation for wide its output power regulation ranges and load variations under its constant high frequency pulse density modulation (PDM) scheme. Its transient and steady state operating principle is originally described and discussed for a constant high-frequency PDM control strategy under a stable ZVS operation commutation, together with its output effective power regulation characteristics-based on the high frequency PDM strategy. The experimental operating performances of this high frequency Inverter are illustrated as compared with computer simulation results and experimental ones. Its light dimming characteristics due to power regulation scheme are evaluated and discussed on the basis of simulation and experimental results. The feasible effectiveness of this high frequency inverter appliance implemented here is proven from the practical point of view.

this paper provides a novel method to start the linear engine coupled linear generator from dead stop to its final steady state operation. This method depends mainly to use the linear generator mounted on the shaft of the linear engine to provide the required thrust force to move and oscillate the linear engine from bottom to top dead centers. It is a cost effective approach to start the internal linear combustion engine using its coupled tubular permanent magnet linear generator proposed here. This linear generator operates in this case in motoring mode, providing the required thrust force by feeding this linear generator phases with currents by using a three phase PWM inverter controlled by position feedback scheme. In order to provide the desired thrust force with specific value and direction, a position feedback is required to control the free piston engine motion through controlling the inverter switches using PWM control scheme.

This paper presents a new circuit topology of dc bus line switch-assisted half-bridge soft switching PWM inverter type dc-dc converter for arc welder. The proposed power converter is composed of typical voltage source half-bridge high frequency PWM inverter with a high frequency transformer link in addition to dc bus line side power semiconductor switching devices fer PWM control scheme and capacitive lossless snubbers. All the active power switches in the half-bridge arm and dc bus lines can achieve ZCS turn-on and ZVS turn-off commutation operation and consequently the total turn-off switching losses can be significantly reduced. As a result, a high switching frequency of using IGBTs can be actually selected more than about 20 kHz. The effectiveness of this new converter topology is proved for low voltage and large current dc-dc power supplies such as arc welder from a practical point of view. -

This paper presents the methods of designing the control circuits for a Class D amplifier to have a peak performance. The proposed approach is based on the three functional components - a carrier generator, a feedback circuit and a dead-time circuit. First the analog signal is applied to the controller, which outputs the 3 level PWM waveform. The controller used for this experiment is made of the operational amplifier and the logic circuit. The experimental results show that the control circuit performs with satisfaction and its output is proportional to input audio signal, providing a satisfactory 3 level PWM pattern. From this design methodology, by implementing a proposed control circuit we can achieve the efficient Class D amplifier using the half-bridge, full-bridge or push-pull topology at the output stage.

This paper describes the safety condition of power utilities installed on underground premises when flooding occurs. As advance preparations, the statistical data were investigated based on the rainfall trend; the flooding damage; the power utilities installation; the electric shock accidents, and domestic md foreign regulations pertaining to the power utilities installation on underground premises were also compared and analyzed. After the preliminaries, the safety condition of underground power utilities was inspected at site and the results were reflected on considering countermeasures. Based on the further studies, the regulations closely related to the underground power utilities installation can be modified.

현재 국내 외에서 GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear)용 광 CT(optical current transformer)가 활발히 연구 개발되고 있다. 이러한 광 CT는 전력선에 발생하는 자기장에 의해 레이저 빛의 파장 각도가 변하는 현상인 Faraday Effect를 기련 원리로 한 전류측정용 기기이다. 본 논문에서는 GIS용 광 CT 개발을 목적으로 한 기초적 연구로써 자기장이 발생하는 전력선에 장착되는 센서부가 도선을 중심으로 해서 어떻게 위치하느냐에 따른 광 CT의 출력신호를 측정하여 연구하였다.

본 연구는 도체주변에 감겨진 광섬유 코일에 따라 선형편광축이 자기장에 의해 회전하는 Faraday Effect를 이용한 GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear,이하 GIS) 용 광 전류센서의 구성과 DAQ(Data Acquisition,이하 DAQ)보드를 장착한 PC를 이용하여 실시간 데이터 취득, 분석 그리고 저장을 동시에 수행하였다 광원은 1310[nm]의 레이저 다이오드를 이용하였다. 센서부는 GIS에 맞게 원형으로 제작하였고
$9/125[{\mu}m]$ 규격 단일모드의 일반 통신용 광섬유를 지름 31[cm]의 센서부 코어에 20[회] 감아 설치하였다. PC기반의 실시간 데이터 분석 프로그래밍은 NI사의 Labview를 이용하여 코딩하였으며 PD(Photo Diode,이하 PD)의 전기적인 신호는 터미널 블록을 거쳐 NI사의 16bit DAQ M시리즈를 이용하여 수집되어진다. 직접 코딩한 프로그램을 이용하여$700A\sim1400A$ 측정한 출력값 선형적인 증가추세를 보여주었다. 또한 OCS(Oscilloscope,이하 OCS)를 이용한 측정시스템과의 출력신호 및 정밀도를 비교 검토하였다. 그리고 Labview에서 지원하는 Web Tool기능을 이용하여 Web기반의 원거리 측정에서도 안정된 출력을 보여주었다. -

We investigated the quench characteristics of a flux-lock type superconducting fault current limiter (SFCL) according to the number of the superconducting elements at the subtractive polarity winding of a transformer. The flux-lock type SFCL consists of the transformer with a primary winding and two secondary windings connected in parallel, and the superconducting element was connected with secondary winding in series, respectively. The applied voltage at that tin was 200V. when two superconducting elements of the secondary winding was connected in parallel, the peak lie current increased up to 99A, while that flowing in a superconducting element in conventional flux-lock type SFCL showed 50A under the same conditions, the impedance of secondary winding under the same situation showed the opposite behavior. This enabled the parallel structure to be easy to increase the capacity of power system, in the meantime, The quench between two superconducting elements in the SFCL with two secondary windings connected in parallel was achieved simultaneously. While the quench-starting point was slightly different in the SFCL with two superconducting elements connected in series. We found that the parallel connection between the secondary windings increased the power capacity and let quench characteristics improve through their mutual linkage. -

In industrial control system used by Programmable Logic Controller(PLC), Ladder Diagram(LD) is the about widely utilized and plays an important role in industrial control system. But recently, the study about Sequential Function Chart(SFC) is performed actively. When we program by SFC, generally, we design one routine from start to end. This method is difficult to design, and we often make mistakes. In this paper, we propose the method that we compose each sub-system after we design each sub-system and we analysis the difference of the method used this paper from conventional method.

Superconducting fault current(SFCLs) are expected to improve not only reliability but also stability of real power systems. The analysis on the single line-to-ground fault current of the integrated three phase flux-lock type SFCL, which consists of three flux-lock reactor wound on an iron core in each single phase and three YBCO thin films, was investigated in current limiting operating characteristics. We compared additive polarity winding with the subtractive one in the flux lock reactor. Its turns ratio each phase between the primary and the secondary coils is 63:42. When a single line-to-ground fault occurred in any phase, the peak value of line current in the fault phase of the additive polarity winding increased up to 31.44[A] during first-half cycle. On the other hand, the peak value in the subtractive polarity winding increased up to 81.77[A] under the same conditions. This is because the current flow between the primary and the secondary windings becomes to be additive or subtractive in each winding direction. We confirmed that the current limiting behavior in the additive polarity winding was more effective for a single-line-to ground fault.

In this paper, a new approach for detecting broken rotor bars in a squirrel-cage induction motor is proposed. The air-gap flux variation analysis was done using search coils inserted in stator slots when broken rotor bar occurs. An accurate modeling and analysis of air-gap flux variation in the induction motor are developed using finite-element (FE) software packages, and measurement of the flux are made using search coils. The simulation was done for the induction motor with 380 [V], 5 [HP], 4 Poles, 1,742 [rpm] ratings using the commercial FE analysis tool. The simulation and experiment results can be useful for detecting the broken rotor bar of an induction motor.

In this paper, a new on-line high-voltage motor monitoring system is proposed. This system monitors the insulation condition of the stator winding by on-line measurements of partial discharge (PD). And this system displays magnitude and phase angle distribution of PD. Sensor, CC (Ceramic Coupler) is used for PD measurement. PD signals are continuously measured and digitized with a A/D converter to build the database of the high-voltage motor's insulation condition. Also, this system can communicate with the central monitoring system via RS-232, 422, and TCP/IP. This helps more efficient operation and maintenance of the high-voltage motor.

Inverter driven induction motors with high speed switching and advanced PWM techniques are widely used for variable speed applications. Recently, the insulation failures of stator winding have attracted much concern due to high dv/dt of IGBT PWM inverter output. In this paper, the detailed insulation test results of 26 low-voltage induction motors are presented. Six different types of insulation techniques are applied to 26 motors. The insulation characteristics are analyzed with partial discharge, inception voltage, AC current, and dissipation factor tests. Also, breakdown tests by high voltage pulses are performed. From the above test data the effects due to different wires and insulation techniques on the insulation characteristics of low-voltage induction motors are compared and analyzed. The insulation technique to enhance the insulation strength is suggested from the test results.

The hysteresis characteristics of flux-lock reactor, which is an essential component of flux-lock type superconducting fault current limiter (SFCL), was investigated. The hysteresis loss of iron core in flux-lock type SFCL does not happen due to its winding's structure especially in the normal state. From the equivalent circuit for the flux-lock type SFCL and the fault current limiting experiments, the hysteresis curves could be drawn. Through the hysteresis curves together with the fault current level due to the inductance ratio for the 1st and 2nd windings, the increase of the number of turns in the 2nd winding of the flux-lock type SFCL had a role to prevent the iron core from saturation. -
The solar cells should be operated at the maximum power point because its output characteristics are greatly fluctuate on the variations of insolation, temperature and loads. To obtain maximum power from solar cell, photovoltaic system cell power system usually requires maximum power point tracking controller. This paper propose Maximum power point tracking method using zero slope of differential value of maximum power. The power compare method traces to maximum power point rapidly but oscillate on the maximum power point largely, when quantity insolation variation is big. The power compare method is traces to maximum power point slowly but oscillate maximum point on the maximum power point smally, when quantity insolation variation is small. To solve two problem of the power compare method, designed zero slope of differential value of maximum power.

This paper gives a Wireless lightning detecting and warning system. This system composed of transmitter and receiver. It promptly senses lightning strikes on the power lines and transmission towers by using the lightning current detection circuit in a small transmitter situated on the top of power tower, and it sends the number of lightning strikes and the ID. of the tower to patrols through the receivers. This system will be used to discover the exact location of a lightning strike.

도시자연공원은 도심에 자연적으로 형성된 숲 속에 다양한 체육시설을 설치하고 이를 이용함으로서 도 시인들에게 휴식을 제공한다. 이 체육시설 가운데에 옥외 골프연습장은 국민의생활수준 향상과 함께 많은 시민들이 주간이나 야간에 이용하는 장소이며 이때 야간에 점등되는 조명설비는 이용자에게 공의 위치를 분명하게 확인하게 해주어야하고 눈부심이 없어야 한다. 또한 주변을 걷는 사람들에게도 조명에 의한 불쾌감이 없어야 한다. 도시자연공원의 주목적은 신체활동의 부족, 자기표현의 기회상실, 인간관계 등과 관련하여 신체활동을 통해 체력을 단련하고 생활에 활력을 가져 보다 밝고 풍요한 생활을 영위하는데 있으며 국민의 생활수준의 향상에 힘입어 향후 도시자연공원 체육시설은 급증 할 것으로 예측된다. 본 고에서는 이러한 도시자연공원에 설치할 옥외 골프연습장의 조명설비에 대한 설계를 소개하도록 한다.
