In this paper, we design and implement an Internet GIS based on ObjectWeb, which makes to use various distributed services and object paradigm. We use CORBA, which is the standard of distributed object middleware and supports interoperability and reusability regardless of the execution environment and the implementation language of a distributed code, so that it easily extends established systems in networking environment and accesses distributed heterogeneous spatial data. Our method distributes parts of user interactive tasks to clients to reduce and to improve the system performance while existing approaches concentrate all workloads on a server. We implement a travel information system on the developed IGIS. Users receive services from remote servers employing a Java client system running on a web browser.

In this paper, We offer a new web caching technique for a performance improvement of a multimedia object process. The proposed method is based on a heterogeneity of Web object. And it increases performance of a caching system as increasing the caching efficiency of a multimedia object. In the experiment, We verified performance improvement through performance analysis of a proposed system.
Because of explosive growth in demand for web-based multimedia applications, proper proxy caching for large multimedia object (especially video) has become needed. For a video object which is much larger in size and has different access characteristics than the traditional web object such as image and text, caching the whole video file as a single web object is not efficient for the proxy cache. In this paper, we propose a proxy caching strategy with the constant-sized segment for video file and an improved proxy cache replacement policy. Through the event-driven simulation under various conditions, we show that our proposal is more efficient than the variable-sized segment strategy which has been proven to have higher hit ratio than other traditional proxy cache strategies.

In this paper, we propose an effective web service software platform for remote monitoring and control. In order to propose a system configuration that can check the object information on the web in real time to improve the performance of the web service, the object information reception module and the web viewer system are configured. As IoT devices grow, the environment becomes too complicated to identify and control the status of many devices. We have proposed that these problems be easily controlled in a web-based environment and current status information can be viewed in real time.

This paper presents a design and implementation of cyber-school system using object modeling technique and web groupware. The system design method based on object modeling techniques reduce cyber-school construction effort and cost with reusing of modules. The system is a kind of web group application based on WWW that allow members who located on remote computer to do cooperative learning and to communicate with other students and teachers independent of time and location. In this system we use Linux operating system for efficient development on real education field. and we can reduce cyber-school development effort arid cost With this system.
This paper presents an enhanced web-based distributed system with Single Access Object Protocol(SOAP), which uses HTTP as a communication protocol and XML as a data presentation. The suggested system is applied into a Generic Equipment Model (GEM) for exchanging specified messages(SECS-II), which are encoded into XML presentation, between Equipment and Host via the web sorrel. In this paper, the designed system architecture and its soap components are presented.

In this paper, we estimate the mean number of objects in the M/H2/1 model for web service when the mean object size in the M/H2/1 model is equal to that of the M/G/1/PS and M/BP/1 models. To this end, we use the mean object size obtained by assuming that the mean latency of deterministic model is equal to that of M/H2/1, M/G/1/PS, and M/BP/1 models, respectively. Computational experiments show that if the shape parameter of the M/BP/1 model is 1.1 and the system load is greater than 0.35, the mean number of objects in the M/H2/1 model when mean object size of M/H2/1 model is the same as that of M/G/1/PS model is almost equal to the mean number of objects in the M/H2/1 model when the mean object size of M/H2/1 model is the same as that of M/BP/1 model. In addition, as the upper limit of the M/BP/1 model increases, the number of objects in the M/H2/1 model converges to one, which increases latency. These results mean that it is efficient to use small-sized objects in the web service environment.
Web Services following distributed object computing technology like DCOM, CORBA provides remote procedure call mechanism based on XML-based open standard such as SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, and it is spotlighted as means of integration and collaboration at e-business. Especially, UDDI is the Web Services Registry enabling to register and search Web Services, that takes charge of providing infrastructure for Web Services. However, the existing UDDI has a few problems that searching process is very simple and it cannot provide information of Web Services quality and quality-based retrieval. Therefore, this study suggest improved UDDI model that evaluates the Web Services quality and use this information for searching.
The Internet has become a part of our lives. As the number of devices with Internet accessibility increases, users can use web services with those devices anytime, anywhere. Web contents on the web page can be delivered to user in various forms for various devices and users want to use seamlessly the contents with an appropriate device. Web browser extension is function to add features that are not supported by default browser. All browsers support extensions that provide the same services for cross-browser. In this paper, We proposed object migration architecture between heterogeneous browsers by expanding our proposed mechanism that identifies objects and the information of those objects to be migrated in the web page, extracts the object and creates object after migration. For this purpose, we analyzed the extension architecture of representative browsers and investigated necessary files to develop objects migration extension. In addition, We investigated how to send and receive message among files in each browser extension and the interaction mechanism among those files. Finally, We implemented the object migration mechanisms between heterogeneous browsers.
This paper proposes a method to track object of real-time video transferred through single web-camera and to recognize risk-situation and human actions. The proposed method recognizes human basic actions that human can do in daily life and finds risk-situation such as faint and falling down to classify usual action and risk-situation. The proposed method models the background, obtains the difference image between input image and the modeled background image, extracts human object from input image, tracts object's motion and recognizes human actions. Tracking object uses the moment information of extracting object and the characteristic of object's recognition is moment's change and ratio of object's size between frames. Actions classified are four actions of walking, waling diagonally, sitting down, standing up among the most actions human do in daily life and suddenly falling down is classified into risk-situation. To test the proposed method, we applied it for eight participants from a video of a web-cam, classify human action and recognize risk-situation. The test result showed more than 97 percent recognition rate for each action and 100 percent recognition rate for risk-situation by the proposed method.
