실내공간 디자인 요소가 가로경관에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 피맛골의 야간 경관을 중심으로 - (A Study on The Influence of Design Elements of Interior Space on Streetscape - Focused on Pimatgol -)

  • Buildings' outward appearances, sidewalks, and street lights have long been regarded as important factors identifying the street landscape of a city. On the other hand, the interior spaces of a building have been known to have less correlation with street landscape. This paper, which did not use standardized urban street landscape application methods, attempts, based on an experiment involving Pimatgol, to prove that small changes in interior design influence the street landscapes of cities and even provide new vigorousness. Pimatgol is a type of village that still possesses a traditional Korean lyrical atmosphere. This paper also attempts to, with the use of a physical model and a digital simulation of small changes interior design, such as changes in materials, size of the opening, location of furniture, or a change of lights, uncover positive changes in street landscape. Computer simulation is one of the extraordinarily useful techniques to predict lighting performance, changing interior space and present visual image. As a result, this study can be a valuable guideline for the future streetscape reform project to lead the demanding effects of the interior space.

군산의 근대도시발달과정과 도시조직의 변화 유형에 관한 형태학적 연구 (A Morphological Study on the Modern Urbanization and Transformation Type of Urban Tissues in Kunsan)

  • The purpose of this thesis is to analyse modem urbanization process and the morphological transformation of the urban tissues in Kunsan between the you 1899 and 2001, The method of this study is to investigate the transformation process of morphological elements such as plot structure, building layout, building facades, land use, exterior space structure and their use, with actual field surveys, the analysis of land registration maps in 1912, and various topological map. Morphological analysis on modern Kunsan is progressed by three steps-typo-morphological analysis of urban tissue in old-town area, interpretation of morphological process, and transformation process, of morphological structure in Japanese concession in view of plots system. As a result, it is found that there is cyclical relationship among the morphological transformation processes of morphological elements, plots, buildings, land-uses, and access space to buildings. From the view of town plan change, the period of restoration of war damage in 1950s and compressive growing period in 1960s have important meaning in the morphological process of old-town area. Particularly the first building plan and layout type together with plot form and structure is acted as the main factor to decide the subsequent plot transformation system, exterior space system and the particular streetscape in Kunsan.

도심 내 가로경관 유형별 시각적 속성이 선호도에 미치는 영향 - 강릉시 중앙로를 대상으로 - (The Influence of Visual Character in Types of Urban Streetscape on Preference - In Case of the Kangnung-si Joongang-ro -)

  • Based on the result of extraction of common factors executed in order to elucidate the visual attributes of street scenery by types through the rotation of 23 adjective variables by Varimax, the visual attributes expressed after the construction of the facilities using street scenery were anylized to be 4 factors including factor 1 through factor 4. Theexplanation of the 4 factor groups to explain the entire distribution was 65.3% and these factor groups are the psychological attributes felt when using facilities are constructed by securing the street spaces in downtowns and the factors were named as naturalness(factor 1), locality(factor 2), identity(factor 3) and clarity(factor 4) respectively. Based on the result of one-way layout distribution analysis, the preferences for street scenery by types were found out to show considerable differences at 1 % significance level. Based on the result of multiple regression analysis, all of the factors explaining preferences including factor 1 through factor 4 were significant at 1 % significance level. In case other conditions are constant, if the values of the adjective variables related to locality(factor 2) increase by 1 unit, the preferences which are the values of dependent variables will increase by 0.709. The variable with the largest relative contribution among the 4 factor groups was the locality(factor 2) factor group and on the contrary, it was found that the independent variable with least influences was the clarity(factor 4) factor group.

지구단위계획상의 경관계획요소에 대한 심리적 반응 (The Psychological Reaction of Landscape Design Elements on the District Unit Plan(DUP))

  • The purpose of this study is to extract landscape design elements regulation of the District Unit Plan(DUP) in new town areas, and to find out characteristics in terms of urban design elements in comparison with the psychological and physical aspects. For this purpose, we reviewed urban design elements and design elements in terms of the landscape by DUP and analyzed the activation of landscape on the selected case-area by interviewing experts such as planners, public officials, and professors in the department of urban planning and landscape, as well as the university students. The analysis framework for the case-study consists of 4 components: the section of region, street, building, open space, etc. The new development areas in Daejeon Metropolitan City was chosen as the case study area, because they have been developed by DUP regulations. As a result of this study, we can extract characteristics of landscape. The results indicate that `skyline design',`view corridor design',`landscape design',`street furniture design' and `building design(form, height, color, and elevation)' are the key planning and design factors influencing differences in the landscape preference. This research identifies that there are no detailed planning and design guidelines adopted within the four case study areas in Daejeon for regulating the characteristics of skyline, planting and street furniture while detailed guidelines established for density, building height and site layout. Considering their significant correlation with the level of landscape preference, this study suggests that detailed planning and design guidelines for the characteristics of skyline, rooftop and streetscape should be established in future DUP.

도시가로 경관에 있어 환경조형물의 시각적 조화성 분석 (An Analysis on the Visual Harmony of the Environmental Sculpture in Urban Streetscapes)

  • 본 연구는 환경조형물을 대상으로 도시환경의 질적 수준을 향상시킬 수 있는 기초 자료를 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 환경조형물의 개념을 정립하고 도시가로경관에서의 환경조형물의 역할을 고찰하였다. 아울러 도시가로경관의 시각적 조화에 영향을 미치는 요소를 추출하여 시각적 만족도와의 관련성을 분석하였는데, 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 20개 경관사진의 시각적 만족도는 우선적으로 환경조형물 자체의 조형성 및 심미성이 높은 작품들이 좋은 평가를 받고 있었다. 주변 환경과의 조화 측면에서는 바닥면, 건물, 주변요소와의 어울림이 뛰어난 환경조형물이 높은 평가를 받았다. 또한, 전체적으로는 명료한 느낌을 주면서 시각적인 안정성을 주는 경관이 만족도가 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 경관의 만족도와 도시경관에 영향을 미치는 5개 변수의 관계 분석결과 형태조화도가 도시가로경관의 만족도에 영향을 주는 중요한 변수로 나타났다.

동적 시뮬레이션에 의한 도시가로경관 관리지표의 허용범위 연구 - 건축물 형태 및 배치를 중심으로 - (A Study on a Permissible Range of the Indicators to Manage Streetscapes by Dynamic Simulation - Focusing on Shape and Layout of Buildings -)

  • As urban residents' standard of living has recently risen, efforts to improve urban landscapes have increased. It is very important to manage streetscapes to improve the urban landscape because they are one of the essential elements in city construction and urban landscaping. This study focuses on the indicators that manage streetscapes more accurately and realistically. To achieve this purpose, this study used dynamic simulations considering shape and layout of buildings, the primary factors in streetscapes. This study can be summarized as follows: 1. Two indicators to manage streetscape were investigated in previous studies: one to increase visual openness and the other to reduce visual overstimulation. These indicators had high correlation with scenic beauty. Therefore, increasing openness and reducing overstimulation are essential to improve streetscapes. 2. Two household tower type buildings should be arranged along roadsides to increase openness and scenic beauty. However, low tower buildings with two household are not suitable along roadsides because they create monotony and intervals are needed between buildings. 3. To increase openness, the angled arrangement of buildings is suggested $75^{\circ}{\sim}90^{\circ}(105^{\circ}{\sim}135^{\circ})$ for low buildings, $30^{\circ}{\sim}45^{\circ}(135^{\circ}{\sim}150^{\circ})$ for mid-sized buildings, and $75^{\circ}{\sim}90^{\circ}(105^{\circ}{\sim}135^{\circ})$ for high buildings. 4. To reduce overstimulation, the height and setback control regulations should be at an angle of less than $45^{\circ}$. This study suggests more accurate management guidelines by organizing the indicators that could effectively manage streetscapes and by overcoming limitations of reality shown in a static simulation.

  • 활성화된 골목형 도시상업가로는 사람들이 선호하는 장소로서 최근 많은 관심을 받고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 골목형 도시상업가로 조성을 위한 계획 및 설계방법에 있어서의 시사점을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 부산시의 대표적인 활성화된 골목형 도시상업가로인 '전리단길'과 '망미단길'을 사례대상지로 선정하여 이론적 고찰과 사례분석을 통하여 사례대상지 개요, 가로공간구성, 건축물 용도, 가로경관, 가로시설물에 대하여 가로공간특성을 살펴보았다. 본 연구를 통하여 도출된 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보행공간 및 환경을 개선하기 위한 가로환경의 조성이 필요하다. 둘째, 기존에 입지한 주요용도와 새로 도입된 용도간의 상생이 필요하다. 셋째, 적응적 재사용 등을 통한 가로의 정체성 유지가 필요하다. 넷째, 민간에 의한 자생적 형성과 공공에 의한 계획적 조성의 협력이 필요하다.

울산광역시(蔚山廣域市) 공원(公園)·녹지(綠地) 및 도시경관(都市景觀)의 주민평가(住民評價) (A Study on the Residents' Evaluation of Open Spaces and Cityscape in Ulsan City)

  • This study aims to evaluate the Ulsan city residents' perception and satisfaction with open spaces and cityscape after consideration in the side of getting primary data for the city open spaces policy and Green Plan for Ulsan city. In this study, low data was gathered by questionnaires survey with stratified random sampling method. Questionnaires were designed by several sets of variables such as behavioral patterns, satisfactions for open spaces and user's demographic variables. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, cross-tabulation and regression analysis. The main results of this study can be summarized as follows : 1. In overage the residents were slightly satisfied with park open spaces. There were good and poor park open spaces. in the perceptions of citizens as follows : 'nearby mountain and open spaces', 'rail side green area' were high satisfactory, and 'riverside', 'green qualities' were low in satisfaction. 2. In overage the residents were slightly satisfied with cityscape. There were good and poor cityscape in the perceptions of citizens as follows : 'nearby forest in and open spaces', 'night scape of an urban center' were high satisfactory, and 'streetscape', 'appearances of high-rise buildings' were low in satisfaction. 3. As a results of regression analysis predictable variables for satisfaction with Park and Open spaces were : 'open spaces by the public', 'open spaces by neighbor', 'grande open spaces', 'open spaces of residence'. 4. As a results of regression analysis predictable variables for satisfaction with cityscape were : 'Central Business District(C.B.D) and nearby mountain and open spaces', 'residence and streetscape', 'riverside and park green open spaces'.

전통지역의 형태 마감재별 경관 색채 특성 - 스웨덴 스톡홀름시의 실례를 대상으로 - (Townscape Color Character by Form Finishes of the Traditional Area - Focusing on Stockholm, Sweden -)

  • 연구의 방법에 있어서, 주변경관에 영향을 주는 경관구성 중 건축의 색채 설계 자료로서 건축 각 부위의 벽, 지붕, 창문, 출입문 상태를 수집하였다. 또한 3배색 이미지 맵을 활용해서 색채의 경향을 분류하였다. 도시경관의 구성요소인 지역별 주요거리의 각 대상지역에 사용되어진 색채의 성질을 색상, 명도, 채도로 나타낸다. 각 대상지역 사용 색채 경향의 특성을 찾아내고 분석한다. 본 연구에서는 경관 관리 측면에서 비교적 색채의 배경이 잘 되어 있는 스웨덴 스톡홀름시의 실례를 대상으로 경관 색채 특성을 파악하였으며, 특히 경관 색채의 배경을 만들어 가는 마감재의 색채 사용에 대한 실태를 조사하였다. 관찰조사를 한 대상 지역은 각각의 8개 지역과 주 거리 이름의 색채 사용에 대한 자료를 수집하여 색채를 성분별로 분류하였다. 마감재에 있어서 지붕의 강판 종류와 적벽돌 종류, 아스팔트 슁글 종류, 도료 종류, 타일기와 종류 등의 색채 사용의 경향을 조사하여 분석하였다.

야간상업가로의 조명물리량 및 이미지 분석 - 보행자 시점을 기준으로 - (Analysis on Luminous Environment and Subjective Image of Two Different Commercial Streets at Night - Focused on View Point of Pedestrian -)

  • Streetscape plays on important role in urban cities. Characteristics of streets is basically defined by the building facade, signs, plants and paving during the daytime. However at night, street receives a new appearance due to the shop light from the buildings, exterior lightings, signboards and street light, and it creates most of the image of the streets. This study aims to analyze the luminous environment and its subjective image of two different pedestrian's commercial streets. Insa-dong street and Myungdong street were chosen for the study. Horizontal illuminance and luminance on building surface, advertisement billboards and pedestrian road were measured. Thirty students were asked to rate the five scaled questionnaire on their subjective images of the streets. Statistical analysis including profile, correlation and T-test are conducted and some findings are discussed
