친환경농산물가공식품 소비의향 수준별 지불의향금액 분석 (An Analysis of the Amount of Willingness to Pay for Environment-friendly Agricultural Processed Foods by the Level of Consumption Intention)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the amount of willingness to pay for environment-friendly agricultural processed foods by the level of consumption intention. To accomplish the objective of the study a consumer survey was conducted for quantitative analysis regarding consumption pattern. The ordered-probit selection model, Heckman-type two-stage method was employed for an empirical analysis on determining the amount of willingness to pay. The estimation results showed that in the case of consumers who are to keep their consumption at the present level, those with high quality contentment compared to price, brand contentment, and purchasing chiefly in the special store, have the higher amount of willingness. The estimation results also showed that in the case of consumers who are to increase their consumption, those with high quality contentment compared to price, brand contentment, certificate contentment, and having family members who suffer from diseases such as atopy, cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, have the higher amount of willingness. Therefore For those who are to increase their consumption, enhancement of quality, enhancement of contentment with certificate, promotion are useful to increase the amount of willingness to pay.

콤바인 무인주행기술의 경제적 가치평가 (Economic Value to Farmers for the Automatic Guidance Technology of Combine)

  • This study intended to estimate the willingness-to-pay amount by farmers for the automatic guidance technology of Combine. Contingent Valuation Method was employed for this estimation using survey data from 65 Combine using farmers. Based on the dichotomous choice model, farmers’willingness-to-pay for the automatic guidance technology was ranged from ₩4,772,000(median) to ₩5,268,000(mean). The estimated willingness-to-pay by the for the new technology was approximately one quarter of the average value based on the willingness-to-pay for the new technology was approximately one quarter of the average value of Combine in sample farms. This implies that there is an economic rationals for developing the new technology as long as it will be available with the cost less than the amount of estimated willingness-to-pay.

여성의 암 검진에 대한 지불의사 (Women's Willingness to Pay for Cancer Screening)

  • Objectives: The goal of this study is to measure women's willingness to pay for cancer screening and to identify those factors associated with this willingness to pay. Methods: A population-based telephone survey was performed on 1,562 women (aged 30 years or over) for 2 weeks (9-23th, July, 2004). Data about sociodemographic characteristics, health behaviors, the intention of the cancer screenings and willingness to pay for cancer screening were collected. 1,400 respondents were included in the analysis. The women's willingness to pay for cancer screening and the factors associated with this willingness to pay were evaluated. Results: The results show that 76% of all respondents have a willingness to pay for cancer screening. Among those who are willing to pay, the average and median amount of money for which the respondents are willing to pay are 126,636 (s.d.: 58,414) and 120,000 won, respectively. As the status of education & the income are higher, the average amount that women are willing to pay becomes much more. The amount of money women are willing to pay is the highest during the 'contemplation' stage. Being willing to payor not is associated with a change of behavior (transtheoretical model), the income, the concern about the cancer risk, the family cancer history, the marital status, the general health exam, age and the place of residence. Income is associated with a greater willingness to pay. Old age was associated with a lower willingness to pay. Conclusions: According to the two-part model, income and TTM are the most important variables associated with the willingness to pay for cancer screening. The cancer screening participation rate is low compared with the willingness to pay for cancer screening. It is thought that we have to consider the participants' behavior that's associated with cancer screening and their willingness to pay in order to organize and manage cancer screening program.

유기농산물구매 및 추가지불가격 영향요인 분석 (Analysis of determinant factors on the purchase of and willingness-to-pay for organic products.)

  • This study examined the differences on the amount of purchase of and willingness-to-pay more for organic products by socio-economic variables, knowledge and reliability of organic products, and concern for food. In addition the effects of the reliability and the price of organic products on the amount of purchase and willingness-to-pay more for organic products in the Path analysis. The results were below. First, consumers who had high education, were the age of 40's, high income, high level of knowledge and reliability for organic products were more likely to purchase organic products. Second, the level of willingness-to-pay more for organic Products were high when consumers with more than three children, not lowest level of health, and higher reliability. Third, the reliability of organic products impact the amount of purchase of organic products, but not the perception of organic products' price. Forth, both the reliability and the perception of those price impact the level of willingness-to-pay more for organic products.

산림경관에 대한 지불의사금액의 인식 차이에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Respondents' Difference of Willingness to Pay Amount on Forest Landscape)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 응답자의 사회 경제적 상황에 따른 산림경관에 대한 지불의사금액의 차이를 구명함에 있다. 이를 위해 통계적 기법을 활용하여 사회 경제적 상황에 따른 지불의사금액의 차이를 분석한 결과, 산림을 접할 때 가장 높은 금액을 지불할 의사가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 남자보다는 여자가 더 높은 지불의사금액이 나타났으며, 전문직, 자영업 등 경제적 여유가 있는 직업보다는 생산직, 공무원 등과 같이 시간적 여유가 있는 직업에서 높은 지불의사금액이 나타났다. 그리고 연령에서는 은퇴 후인 60대에서 산림경관에 대해 지불할 의사가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 가구당 소득에 있어서는 소득이 증가할수록 지불의사가 증가하는 경향을 보이고 있으나 1,000만 원 이상 고소득층에서는 오히려 지불의사가 가장 낮게 나타난 점이 흥미롭다.

해양레저선박의 지불의사금액 가치평가 연구 (A Study on the Evaluating the Willingness to Pay for Marine Leisure Ship)

  • 본 연구는 비시장재의 경제적 가치를 추정할 수 있는 조건부가치측정법을 통해 해양레저선박의 지불의사금액을 추정하기 위해 수행되었다. 설문지는 이중양분형선택 방식을 채택했으며, 지불의사금액 평가를 위한 변수로는 선행연구를 통해 검증된 인구통계학적 변수, 응답자 행태 변수, 관련 정보에 관한 변수로 구성하였다. 총 309부의 설문지를 회수하여 분석한 결과 해양레저선박에 대한 지불의사금액은 25,510원으로 추정되었다. 또한 지불의사금액에 영향을 미치는 유의한 변수는 섬 방문경험, 신규 해상교통수단 도입시 만족도, 섬 재방문 의사인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해 조건부가치측정법을 활용하여 해양레저선박의 지불의사금액을 추정함으로써 보다 객관적인 신규 해상교통수단의 경제적 가치평가의 근거로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

경관보전직불제 도입을 위한 제주감귤(원)의 경관가치 평가 (Measuring Landscape Value of Jeju Island's Mandarin(Orchard) for the Introduction of Direct Payment System of the Landscape Preservation)

  • The dichotomous-choice contingent valuation method is applied to estimate the landscape value of Jeju mandarin(orchard). A distribution-free approach, Turnbull empirical distribution model, is employed to solve negative willingness to pay and truncation problems. The data used are collected from the interviews with tourist about willingness-to-pay at the various donation amount levels of Jeju mandarin(orchard)'s landscape value. The evaluation result is shown that the average amount of willingness to pay for the Jeju mandarin's landscape value is 12,926 won per person with standard deviation of 1,874.7 won/person. When the number of Jeju visitors is considered, the economic value of Jeju mandarin's landscape rises every year(2005:64.89 billion won, 2011: 84.43 billion won). The average economic value of Jeju mandarin's landscape are estimated 59.65 billion won during 2000-2005 and 76.88 billion won during 2006-2011, respectively.

당뇨병 환자 맞춤형 농식품 식단에 대한 소비자 지불의사금액 (The Analysis on Consumers' Willingness to Pay for Customized Agricultural Products in Diabetes)

  • This study analyze the willingness to pay for customized agricultural products to diabetes. For this purpose, a survey was carried out for patients with diabetes 212 patients. The main results are as follows. First, the survey found that the interest in health and food was found to be very high in 93.9 % and 85.9 % respectively. This means that there is sufficient market potential if customized food and diets for diabetes are developed. Second, the Logit analysis showed that influential factor for the willingness to pay for a customized diet. The higher the risk, the better the health outcomes, the higher the likelihood that the higher the level of income, the more likely it is to purchase a product for a diabetic food package. Third, the average amount of willingness to pay for the customized food for diabetes patients was 7,823.5 won and the truncated average value was 6,953.3 won.

쇠퇴주거지의 예술매개 도시재생 프로그램에 대한 화폐가치 분석 - 청주시 사직2동을 중심으로 - (Analysis of Monetary Value of Art Mediated Urban Regeneration Programs in Declining Residential Areas - Focused on Cheong-ju Sajik 2-dong -)

  • The goal of this paper is to assess the monetary value of each of the programs, by estimating the amount of willingnessto- pay for the urban regeneration programs that are being carried out in the art media space. Using the Sajik 2-dong in the City of Cheongju that is undergoing urban regeneration through 4 art mediated programs as the subject of this study, the monetary value was calculated through a contingent valuation method (CVM) that used double double-bounded question method. As a result of the analysis, the amount of willingness-to-pay for urban regeneration programs was found to be 36,250 won monthly average per household and, when this was converted to reflect all the households in the Sajik 2-dong area, the amount was estimated to be approximately 117 million won. In addition, in the case of the respondents who have experienced such programs, the amount of willingness-to-pay was found to be monthly average wise 12,880 won higher than those respondents who have not. As a result of the measurement of values based on art mediated urban regeneration programs, the Byeol-ddong-dae for children culture exploration program showed as having the highest value, followed by the local resident festival program, street puppet program and the resident autobiography program.
