STUDY OF P-CURVATURE TENSOR IN THE SPACE-TIME OF GENERAL RELATIVITY

  • The P-curvature tensor has been studied in the space-time of general relativity and it is found that the contracted part of this tensor vanishes in the Einstein space. It is shown that Rainich conditions for the existence of non-null electro variance can be obtained by P𝛼𝛽. It is established that the divergence of tensor G𝛼𝛽 defined with the help of P𝛼𝛽 and scalar P is zero, so that it can be used to represent Einstein field equations. It is shown that for V4 satisfying Einstein like field equations, the tensor P𝛼𝛽 is conserved, if the energy momentum tensor is Codazzi type. The space-time satisfying Einstein's field equations with vanishing of P-curvature tensor have been considered and existence of Killing, conformal Killing vector fields and perfect fluid space-time has been established.

  • The aim of this paper is to study the projective curvature tensor field of the Curvature tensor Rijkh on a recurrent non Riemannian space admitting recurrent affine motion, which is also decomposable in the form Rijkh=Xi Yjkh, where Xi and Yjkh are non-null vector and tensor respectively. In this paper we decompose Special Pseudo Projective Curvature Tensor Field. In the sequal of decomposition we established several properties of such decomposed tensor fields. We have considered the curvature tensor field Rijkh in a Finsler space equipped with non symmetric connection and we study the decomposition of such field. In a special Pseudo recurrent Finsler Space, if the arbitrary tensor field 𝜓ij is assumed to be a covariant constant then, in view of the decomposition rule, 𝜙kh behaves as a recurrent tensor field. In the last, we have considered the decomposition of curvature tensor fields in Kaehlerian recurrent spaces and have obtained several related theorems.

  • In this paper, we study the Poisson cohomology ring of the tensor product of Poisson algebras. Explicitly, it is proved that the Poisson cohomology ring of tensor product of two Poisson algebras is isomorphic to the tensor product of the respective Poisson cohomology ring of these two Poisson algebras as Gerstenhaber algebras.

  • Breakthrough of high Weisenberg number problem is related with keeping the positive definiteness of the conformation tensor in numerical procedures. In this paper, we suggest a simple method to preserve the positive definiteness by use of vector decomposition of the conformation tensor which does not require eigenvalue problem. We also derive the constitutive equation of tensor-logarithmic transform in simpler way than that of Fattal and Kupferman and discuss the comparison between the vector decomposition and tensor-logarithmic transformation.

  • Tensor 하면 최근 3D로 white matter내의 섬유질을 멋있게 그려내는 diffusion tensor를 연상합니다. 하지만 여기서 다룰 tensor는 수학적 연산자(operator)입니다. NMR 혹은 MRI에서 스핀을 vector로 표시하고, 이 vector 스핀이 90도 rf pulse에 의해서 z축에서 x-y Plane으로 rotation되는 것을 vector diagram으로 나타냅니다. 그런데 이 vector notation으로는 스핀에 일어나는 여러 현상들을 수식적으로 모델 하는데 한계가 있습니다. 그래서 도입된 모델이 product operator와 tensor operator입니다 (1, 2, 3). 한 예로 우리가 다루는 proton NMR 신호가 single quantum인데 23Na 등에는 multiple quantum 신호가 생기게 되며 이는 vector로는 나타낼 수가 없으며 tensor로 분석이 가능합니다 (4, 5).

  • In this paper, we decompose the curvature tensor (field) on the homogeneous Riemannian manifold SU(3)=T (k, l) with an arbitrarily given SU(3)-invariant Riemannian metric into three curvature-like tensor fields, and investigate geometric properties.

  • The object of the present paper is to characterize Bach flat (k, 𝜇)-almost co-Kähler manifolds. It is proved that a Bach flat (k, 𝜇)-almost co-Kähler manifold is K-almost co-Kähler manifold under certain restriction on 𝜇 and k. We also characterize (k, 𝜇)-almost co-Kähler manifolds with divergence free Cotton tensor.

  • In n-dimensional unified field theory(n-UFT), the reciprocal representations between the g-unified field tensor $g{\lambda}{\nu}$ and $^*g$-unified field tensor $^*g^{{\lambda}{\nu}}$ play essential role in the study of n-UFT. The purpose of the present paper is to obtain some reciprocal relations between g-unified field tensor and $^*g$-unified field tensor.

  • We study additive decompositions (and generalized additive decompositions with a zero-dimensional scheme instead of a finite sum of rank 1 tensors), which are not of minimal degree (for sums of rank 1 tensors with more terms than the rank of the tensor, for a zero-dimensional scheme a degree higher than the cactus rank of the tensor). We prove their existence for all degrees higher than the rank of the tensor and, with strong assumptions, higher than the cactus rank of the tensor. Examples show that additional assumptions are needed to get the minimally spanning scheme of degree cactus +1.

  • The purpose of the present paper is to discuss the geometrical properties of the Vaisman-Gray manifold (VG-manifold) of a pointwise holomorphic sectional conharmonic tensor (PHT-tensor). Furthermore, the necessary and sufficient conditions required for the VG-manifold to admit such a PHT-tensor have been determined. In particular, under certain conditions, we have established that the aforementioned manifold was an Einstein manifold.
