When an appropriate model is fitted to explain a certain categorical data, outlying cell detection plays very important role to reduce the lack of fit. There exist many statistical methods to identify outlying cells in contingency table. In this paper, correspondence analysis is applied to identify one or two outlying cells. When corresponding relationships between categories of the row and columns are explored, we find that outlying cells could be identified via the correspondence analysis map.

This paper is concerned with the application of generalized linear interactive modelling(GLIM) to the binary categorical data. To analyze the categorical data given by a contingency table, finding a good-fitting loglinear model is commonly adopted. In the case of a contingency table with a response variable, we can fit a logit model to find a good-fitting loglinear model. For a given $2^4$ contingency table with a binary response variable, we show the process of fitting a loglinear model by fitting a logit model using GLIM and SAS and then we estimate parameters to interpret the nature of associations implied by the model.

There are several ways to test the equality of two survival distributions under a variety of situations. Tests for equality of two distributions with life-table model for univariate independent response times are reviewed and introduced. It is developed that the methodology to test it for correlated response times where treatments are applied to different independent sets of cohorts. Data, which can be separated into two independent sets, from an angioplasty study where more than one procedure is performed on some patients are used to illustrate this methodology.

This paper aimed to suggest a new model of fusion furniture design which fits with our surroundings of today. This was performed by grasp and evaluation of recent trend of fusion culture in Korea in order to apply it to the furniture design of fusion style. Fusion furniture design was tried and applied to the table showing unique characteristics of Korea traditional small dining table with modern touch. The result of this paper could also contribute to distribute the unique characteristics and beauty of Korean traditional furniture in the World.

The main objective of this study is to observe the effect of visco-elastic damper on seismic behavior of structure. A small shaking table was designed and manufactured using the materials and machinery available in the market by the authors. Also, two small-scale models with and without visco-elastic dampers were made. Dynamic characteristics, such as natural periods and damping ratios, were measured with free vibration tests. Finally, the earthquake simulations tests by using this shaking table were performed to these models. Based on the test results, the effect of visco-elastic damper on the seismic response of models is evaluated.

기존에 제시된 ad hoc 라우팅 프로토콜에는 안정성에 대한 부분이 고려되어 있지 않다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 DSR ad hoc 라우팅 프로토콜에 안정성을 접목한 SDSR 라우팅 프로토콜을 제시한다. SDSR은 DSR에 안정성 제공을 위해 abnormal node detector와 neighbor table이라는 것을 추가한다. abnormal node detector는 네트워크 내에 abnormal 노드를 탐지해 네트워크에서 고립시켜 네트워크에 안정성을 제공하고 neighbor table에 있는 priority를 값에 따라 이웃 노드에서 들어온 패킷을 처리함으로써 효율적인 처리 능력을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 abnormal node detector와 neighbor table을 통해 어떤 방식으로 네트워크에 안정성을 제공하는지 살펴보도록 하겠다.

The vibration isolation table system for the high precision Processing machinery has been developed. The system uses air spring as its isolation elements. An investigation of the model and the test results showed that the diaphragm has a role in the mathematical model. The vibration levels at various floors in the laboratory were investigated during operating the large shaking table for the selection of optimum installation location. The vibration test on the designed system showed good isolation performances.

In this paper, an efficient pulse shaping filter architecture for SSB/BPSK-DS/CDMA is proposed. The filter satisfies the specifications in IS-95. The proposed architecture is based on polyphase decomposition and look-up table method. By exploiting the linear phase property of the decomposed filter coefficients, the chip area required for look-up table can be reduced by half compared with the conventional methods. By Synopsys simulations, it is shown that the use of the proposed method can result in reduction in the number of gates by 40%.
