Objentive : This study was aimed to take a sensus of elementary school children who have atopic dermatitis(AD) especially the residents of Je-Cheon. Methods : We conducted a questionnaire survey of the elementary school children in Je-Cheon who have atopic dermatitis. 86 patients with AD were involved in the survey. The questionnaire was made up of their family history, past history, type of residence, favorite food, kinds of treatment, methods and satisfaction of oriental medicine treatment, use of complementary therapy, and hardship of life on atopic dermatitis, etc. Results : Parents' past history has a effect on children's AD. Especilly mother's has the greatest effect. About past history of patients, allergic rhinitis is most commonly found. Apartment is the most usual form of residence. Patients with AD enjoy meat diet, ice cream. They prefer western medicine treatment to oriental medicine treatment or popular remedy. They usually got oriental medicine treatment at clinic. Herbal remedy is used most frequently. About 77% of children are satisfied with oriental medicine treatment, and about 72% of children use complementary theraphy. Their favorite complementary theraphy is to apply humectant. Because of atopic dermatitis, about 74% of children have difficulty in daily life. And about 10% of children feel mental pressure. Conclusion : We analyzed not only patients' genetic, environmental factors but also use of complementary theraphy, method and satisfaction of oriental medicine treatment, etc. Through the survey, we could understand the actual conditions of elementary school children who have AD in Je-Cheon.

본 연구의 목적은 과학 교육에서 과학사 활용을 활성화 시키기 위한 방안에 대한 전문가 의견을 조사하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 과학교육학자와 과학사학자를 대상으로 2단계 조사(1차 조사 30명, 2차 조사 84명)를 실시했다. 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 과학사 활용 과학 교육에 대한 전문가 의견 조사 825과학사 활용 교육에서 과학의 본성과 관련된 의견이 많이 제시되었다. 둘째, 과학사를 학교 수업에서 활용하기 위한 다양한 교수 학습 자료의 개발을 요구했다. 셋째, 실행 중심의 과학사 활용 교사 연수를 요구했다. 넷째, 일부 영역에 대해서 과학교육학자와 과학사학자간의 의견 차이가 발견되었다. 다섯째, 동양(한국) 과학사에 대한 교육 필요성에 그리 높지 않은 동의를 나타냈다. 특정 영역에 대한 동양(한국) 과학사교수 학습 자료의 개발이 필요하다.

In this article we survey the sequences and the series in Mooksajipsanbup(默思集算法) which is the seventeenth century mathematics book of Chosun dynasty. First, we classify them into three categories: arithmetics, geometric, and general sequences (series). And then we explore the old methods to find the values of terms and the sum of terms.

In this paper, we critically survey the mathematical Platonism in respect to its abstract, ahistorical, asocial and acultural character. The uncertainty of man's concepts is investigated with special attention to evolutionary theory, philosophical and epistemological developments regarding the cognitive unconsciousness and the embodied mind. We research into the implication of the Darwin machine theory for human consciousness and Wittegenstein's philosophy of mathematics.

We survey the researches on self-reproducing structures on cellular automata. Self-reproduction is the foremost characteristic of life, and cellular automata are ideal model for studying artificial life. From the early studies by Von Neumann to late results on computational models using self-reproducing structures and emergence of self-replication are covered. Also possible applications of self-replicating structures are listed.
