The corpse make-up depending on the cause of death shown in CSI is the only evidence to solve a case, and shows the characteristics of the unique make-up on the corpse, according to the causes of death. There are many types of death causes such as strangulation, manslaughter, assassination and shooting, of which the strangulation is caused by strangling the neck with the hands or using a weapon and has characteristics of showing other external wounds with purple spots appearing on the body after death. This is a presentation of the corpse with a face of white, and the purple spots bruised on the neck. Manslaughter shows deep wounds caused by a stab or laceration using a weapon, and the material feeling of the wound that makes new skin tissue, is realistically presented with make-up of gooey blood. Assassination can be thought as manslaughter in disguise as an accidental death, which the causes can be due to electrocution, suffocation from oxygen deficiency and from excessive monoxide. The make-up is presented by realistically showing the surrounding fragments of the bullet shell, the blood running down, the size of the hole in the body made from the bullet, and shows the broken skin tissues. The shape of the bullet wound can be presented differently based on the body part where the bullet penetrated into, and the part where the bullet shot out through.
This study is to organize the manual for the safety accidents in campsite. For this, analyzing the types of safety accidents and reviewing the regulations of campsite. Through theoretical considerations, the problem was diagnosed and the elements of improvement were presented. Eventually, part of the Responsive and Preventative Behavior manuals were developed to organize 'Preparation Behavior Manual'. Especially, examples of safety accident prevention behavior manual were divided into: 1st, suffocation, 2nd, traffic accident, 3rd, fire, 4th, and electrical accident. "S.A.F.E.", An example, was created with the accident specific initials that were more frequently caused. Furthermore, it was emphasized that it is necessary to process of understood by the user. Subsequent studies recommended the study of cases, improvement of safety management indicators, and the specialization of campground manager and safety guard.
The present study investigated the effect of fire suppression using a mid-low pressure water mist in a carriage fire. The fire extinguishing time and temperature distributions below ceiling in the enclosed compartment of $2.9m{\times}2.8m{\times}5.0m$ were measured by stopwatch and k-type thermocouples for various fire positions. The numerical simulations were extensively performed using. Fire Dynamics Simulator(FDS, Ver. 4.0) code and the predictions were compared with experimental data. The prediction results showed good agreement with the measured maximum temperature in the all cases. Whereas the predicted temperature was about $40^{\circ}C$ higher than the measured one after operating of water mist. The predicted fire extinguishing times were compared with those of measured data. Fires are extinguished within 200 seconds at the experiment in Case 2 and Case 3. But in Case 1 fire was not extinguished in the numerical simulation. The reason of the discrepancy between predicted and measured data was that a simple suppression algorithm has been implemented in FDS. Also, various databases of fire properties for combustible materials and more elaborate model considering the water mist were required fur better predictions of the cooling and suffocation effect.
1. Objectives Due to a lack of detail guidelines for prescriptions to ordinary and pathological symptoms in ${\ulcorner}$DongyiSuseBowon${\lrcorner}$, doctors depend on their own decision when give a prescription. This study aimed to compare ordinary symptoms and pathological symptoms in regards to six prescriptions being applied to Soyangin to utilize them as guidelines in practices. 2. Methods Date were collected from September, 2003 to August, 2004 at the Sasang Constitutional clinic of Pohang Oriental Medicine Hospital. Patients were first asked to fill Out a questionnaire of symptoms that they had at the time of visiting. Data from 273 Soyangin patients whose chief complains got alleviated after taking the prescribed drug were analyzed to examine if there were differences in prescriptions according to ordinary or pathological symptoms complained. 3. Results and Conclusions 1. Hyungbangpaedog-san(Paedog) was given more to the patients having good digestive function than Hyungbangjihwang-tang(Hyungji) and Hyungbangdojeok-san (Dojeok) ; Dojeok was given for bloating symptom compared to Hyungbangsabaek-san(Sabaek). Yangkyuksanhwa-tang(Yangkyuk) and Dojeok were more like for patients with stomachache compared to Paedog. Doghwaljihwang-tang(Dogji) was prescribed to patients complaining frequent voiding compared to Sabaek while Sabaek was given for patients who prefer cold water and feel their body warm compared to other prescriptions. Yangkyuk and Dojeok were prescribed more likely to patients with feeling of suffocation than Sabaek. 2. In symptom comparisons between one prescription and the group of the rest of 5 prescriptions, Paedog was found to be prescribed when patients had good digestive function while Dojeok was given in symptoms cases of indigestion, bloating, constipation and dizziness. Sabaek was applied more for patients having tendency of preferring cold water and feeling of heat body as well as good digestive function. Hyungji was used for patients complaining a symptom of fatigue, in addition Yangkyuk was given to patients who were nervous, sensitive, or impatient when compared to Other prescriptions. Dogji was applied to frequent voiding, insomnia, tingling of extremities, backache or leg pain, or in case of tendency of catching a common cold.
Some researchers who once studied Uirimchualyo have paid good attention to the connection between Donguibogam & Uirimchualyo because of their similarity. So, after reviewing the Sequel of Uirimchualyo, in terms of its editing purpose and the list of contents, especially focused on throat sickness, here I report on the conclusions I come to. Firstly, the Sequel of Uirimchualyo was a monumental edition in concert with the enthronement of Kwanghaegun, and printed at demand of new medical knowledge, which was required to add to the existing Uirimchualyo, written by best-noted doctor, Yang Yesoo, and in need of simpler medical textbook to help people's recovery from the damage of Japanese invasion in the year of Imjin & Jeongyoo. Secondly, all the contents read in the Sequel of Uirimchualyo, were quoted from Kogumuigam, compiled by Kong Shin, Manbyonghoichun, edited by Kong Jeonghyun, Dangaeshim bupbuyo, published by Bang Kwang, and Uihakipmun, edited by Lee Cheon. Thirdly, The reason of similarity between Uirimchualyo and Donguibogam is that the Sequel of Uirimchualyo was made by adding new medical knowledge to the existing Uirimchualyo, and that many of contents of the Sequel of Uirimchualyo were quoted in Donguibogam. Fourthly, regarding throat sickness, medical knowledge on acute fever was supplemented in the Sequel of Uirimchualyo, and the emergency medical treatment methodology like "blow-in-throat" was newly introduced. This treatment is worth being employed to treat acute suffocation with swollen throat in modern acute-infection sicknesses. Fifthly, the Sequel of Uirimchualyo made up for brief description of the existing Uirimchualyo, offered more convenience of users compared with too overscaled Hyangyakjipseongbang & Uibangryuchui, and was more complete than Kookupbang which was loose, incomplete, and sometimes risky. And it took firm hold before Donguibogam, and eventually made a great contribution toward Donguibogam.
Obstructive sleep apena syndrome (OSAS) is accompanied by the following symptoms: apnea caused by upper respiratory tract obstruction while sleeping, repetitive lowering of $SpO_2$, severely affected excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS), suffocation/frequent awakeness while sleeping, daytime lethargy, and lack of concentration. OSAS was investigated with sex, age, body weight, body mass index (BMI), neck circumference and snoring sound as clinical characteristics and the anticipating factors of OSAS were studied in relation with the apnea-hypopnea index (AHI). The subjects were 42 people (male 34/female 8) who visited the clinic due to snoring and had polysomnography evaluation. AHI was differenciated into normal (less than 0~5/hr), mild (5~15/hr), moderate (15~30/hr) and severe (more than 30/hr). As the apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) gets higher, the snoring sound was louder (p<0.01), neck circumference was thicker (p<0.05) and also there were relative correlations with body weight (p<0.01), body mass index (p<0.05), snoring sound (p<0.01) and neck circumference (p<0.01). Since the snoring sound and neck circumference explained 32.8% of the AHI distribution, if the patient was severely snoring or had a thick neck circumference due to obesity, the apnea-hypopnea index showed a predisposition to the obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.

In this study, we used the program of three-dimensional analysis of fire for analyzing visibility of smoke flow and temperature of the accommodation area what is required for the analysis of survival of the crew. In particular, I would like to propose a method for reducing the flow rate performance in order to reduce the suffocation from the smoke of the majority of personal injury. Existing vessels are designed to close the fire door automatically when the fire alarm issued. When there is no crew that dared to escape, it can delay the spread of fire and smoke flow which is determined to be very useful to improve the survival rate of the crew. However, it can be fatal to the crew whose rooms are located on the inside of the fire door that has not completed the evacuation. In this study, we check the smoke flow rate and rate of temperature rise when crew open the fire door what is closed due to fire and compare to the structure of the blocking layer.

In this paper, we implemented a system to measure respiration rate with nonrestraint sensors comfortable for people to do their everyday life. The proposed system consists of a pad covered with a Piezoelectric sensor, a respiration measuring device able to send the signal data after amplifying and filtering the source signals to the viewer, a viewer providing sensor data visualization and implementing the respiration measuring algorithm. The algorithm is based on a breathing cycle with the local peak points extracted from threshold on sensor data. Respiration measurements on 3 subjects were performed by changing moving averages and thresholds. The proposed system showed less than 5% error rate when proper moving averages are N=50~60 and a range of thresholds is 800~1300. The system will contribute to preventing suffocation during sleep for infants and the elderly living alone.

Objective: This study was designed to report on the progress of the fire at Jecheon sports complex and to assess the adequacy of Disaster Medical Assistant Team (DMAT)'s activities in response to the fire disaster. Methods: We conducted a retrospective review based on camera recordings and medical records that were recorded at the disaster site for assessment of activities. We cooperated with firefighters, police officers, local hospital medical staffs and public health personnel in Jecheon in order to classify patients in the disaster field and to understand the patients' progress. Results: At 15:53, the first request for emergency rescue came to the 119 general emergency call center, and a request for DMAT activation came at 16:28. DMAT arrived at the site at 17:04 and remained active until the following day at 00:43. The total number of casualties was 60, including 27 minimal (Green) patients, 29 expectant (Black) patients, three delayed (Yellow) patients, and one immediate (Red) patient. There were 32 patients who received on-site care by DMAT. Two patients were transferred from a local hospital to Wonju Severance Christian Hospital for hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Conclusion: Twenty-nine victims were found in the sports complex building, and there were 31 mildly to moderately injured patients in this fire disaster. The main cause of death was thought to be smoke suffocation. Although DMAT was activated relatively quickly, it was not able to provide effective activity due to the late rescue and difficulty with fire suppression.

"Hakeem" is an Arabic E-health educational application that aims to teach children from the age of six to eleven years first aid, in our belief that the seed of renaissance lies in the care and education of children, and the lack of Arabic content that aims to teach children first aid skills. The idea is to create a scenario in which the child is responsible for saving the person who will be in a dangerous situation using Augmented Reality (AR) technology, to increase engagement and interaction and provides a rich user experience, and according to the child's performance, he will get reward points. The game will have several levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Hakeem, and based on the player's points he will get a title and move to the next level, and when he reaches the end, he will get the certificate.
