모드 해석과 충격 가진을 이용한 차륜 진동에 대한 연구 (A study on the wheel vibration using modal analysis and impact test)

  • When a train moves on rails, wheel and rail vibrate to produce contact noise and contact force. The former results in airborne noise and the latter transmits through bogie and excites carbody to generate structure borne noise. In this paper, wheel vibration is studied by theoretical and experimental approaches. Theoretical analysis is performed by finite element method and experimental analysis is performed by impact test. Using modal analysis and model tunning, we could have good agreement between the two approaches.

  • The reduction of the structure-borne noise is very important in order to reduce the noise of a ship. The noise at the high frequency range usually comes from the fluid flowing. The noise from the sea-water conveying pipe is one of the main source on these high frequency range. Therefore, the transmissibility variations are evaluated according to the shape of the rubber mount. The evaluations are performed with the frequency response function numerically and experimentally.

  • In recent years, the demand of a silent indoor air-conditioner is the essential research filed when the product is developed. In this study, through the design modification of the noise and vibration source, the noise and vibration level of the package air-conditioner is reduced. The modal analysis of the motor bracket is performed by FEM. To find the most suitable shape of the motor bracket, Design of Experiments is applied.

  • In automotive industry, all passenger vehicles are treated with damping materials to reduce structure borne noise. The effectiveness of damping treatments depends upon design parameters such as choice of damping materials. locations and size of the treatment. Generally, the CAE method uses modal strain-energy information of the bare structural panels to identify flexible regions, which in turn facilitates optimization of damping treatments with respect to location and size. This paper proposes a design of the damping material with a CAE(Computer Aided Engineering) methodology based on finite element analysis and DOE(Design Of Experiments) to optimize damping treatments.

  • In this study, we identify contribution of structure-borne-noise of vehicle HVAC system using Multi-Dimensional spectral analysis (MDSA) method. Firstly, to identify the applicability of MDSA method, the case of HVAC system was modeled with four input / single output system. The four inputs which is given vibration data is composed of blower, evaporator, heater and duct. The single output is noise data from driver's seat. When the blower motor is operating, we analyze the contributions of four input / single output. As a result of experiment, we identify efficiency of systems modeled with four input / single output through ordinary coherence function (OCF) and multiple coherence function (MCF).

  • One of commercial rapid transits produces peculiar booming sound when passing through the slab-track tunnel. In order to analyze that tympanic membrane-pressing noise systematically, typical source-transfer path-response analysis was carried out. Considering the octave band of booming noise, work scope was confined to structure-borne noise analysis, especially the dynamic behaviour of railway tracks. Experimental modal analysis of railway tracks, composed of rail, rubber pad, sleeper, ballast, and ground were performed. The results shows that transversal bending modes of the rail are suspicious for the cause of the low band booming noise. Finite element analysis are made use of to match preceding experimental results, and plausible dynamic properties of track components are produced.

국내에서 분리된 일본뇌염 바이러스의 Envelope Protein의 3차구조 분석 (Analysis of the Three Dimensional Structure of Envelope Protein of the Japanes encephalitis virus Isolated in Korea)

  • Three dimensional structures of envelope protein from Korean isolates and Nakayama-NIH strain of Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) were deduced by a computer program (HyperChem 4.0 Chemplus 1.0) based on the data of the three dimentional structure of Tick-borne encephalitis virus. In the three dimensional structure of envelope protein, neutralizing epitope and T-helper cell recognition site of C-terminal region of Korean isolates were structually similar to those of Nakayama-NIH but the N-terminal region was not. Korean JE isolates were compared with Nakayama-NIH strain by using cross-neutralization antibody test. Neutralizing activities of Korean isolates derived from guinea pigs were higher than those of Nakayama-NIH strain against Korean isolates, although the polyclonal antibody titers of Nakayama-NlH showed 1:160 to 1:640 against Korean isolates. According to the results from three dimentional structures and cross-neutralization analyses, the antigenic difference between Korean JE isolates and Nakayama-NIH strain may be dependent on structural difference of envelope protein.

지상라이다 데이터를 이용한 구조물 모델링 기법 연구 (Study of Structure Modeling from Terrestrial LIDAR Data)

  • 본 논문에서는 지상라이다에서 획득한 3차원 점군데이터로부터 구조물을 모델링하는 알고리듬을 제안한다. 지상라이다 점군 데이터는 항공라이다의 경우와 달리 목표 구조물의 크기와 비슷한 다양한 장애물이 존재하고 데이터의 밀도, 거리 등의 특성이 다르기 때문에 항공라이다에서 사용된 기존의 알고리듬을 그대로 적용하기가 곤란하다. 제안한 방법에서는 색상정보와 호프변환을 이용하여 구조물을 추출하는 기법을 기반으로 주어진 필드데이터를 여러 개의 클러스터로 구분한다. 클러스터 데이터의 우선순위에 따라서 Delaunay triangulation 기법을 차례대로 적용하여 모델링을 수행한다. 제안한 방법은 클러스터 단위로 모델링을 진행하므로 잡음에 의한 영향을 최소화할 수 있으며 사용자가 원하는 개수만큼의 클러스터를 선택함으로써 모델링의 수준을 대화식으로 조정할 수 있다는 장점이 있다.

Impact of a Recombinant Biocontrol Bacterium, Pseudomonas fluorescens pc78, on Microbial Community in Tomato Rhizosphere

  • Pseudomonas fluorescens pc78 is an effective biocontrol agent for soil-borne fungal diseases. We previously constructed a P43-gfp tagged biocontrol bacteria P. fluorescens pc78-48 to investigate bacterial traits in natural ecosystem and the environmental risk of genetically modified biocontrol bacteria in tomato rhizosphere. Fluctuation of culturable bacteria profile, microbial community structure, and potential horizontal gene transfer was investigated over time after the bacteria treatment to the tomato rhizosphere. Tagged gene transfer to other organisms such as tomato plants and bacteria cultured on various media was examined by polymerase chain reaction, using gene specific primers. Transfer of chromosomally integrated P43-gfp from pc78 to other organisms was not apparent. Population and colony types of culturable bacteria were not significantly affected by the introduction of P. fluorescens pc78 or pc78-48 into tomato rhizosphere. Additionally, terminal restriction fragment length polymorphism profiles were investigated to estimate the influence on the microbial community structure in tomato rhizosphere between non-treated and pc78-48-treated samples. Interestingly, rhizosphere soil treated with strain pc78-48 exhibited a significantly different bacterial community structure compared to that of non-treated rhizosphere soil. Our results suggest that biocontrol bacteria treatment influences microbial community in tomato rhizosphere, while the chromosomally modified biocontrol bacteria may not pose any specific environmental risk in terms of gene transfer.

교량 접속부 특성을 고려한 선하역사의 진동 해석 (Vibration Analysis of an Elevated Railroad Station Considering Station-Bridge Connection Characteristics)

  • 선하역사는 역사 건물의 상부에 위치한 노반구조물을 통하여 열차 운행으로 인한 진동이 직접 역사 구조물로 전달되므로 소음 진동에 취약한 구조이다. 선하역사 내부의 소음은 주로 구조물의 진동으로 인하여 발생하는 고체소음이므로 보다 효율적인 진동 저감 대책의 수립을 위해서는 역사의 구조 형식, 부재 및 재료 등의 구성 요소에 따른 구조적 거동 및 감쇠 특성의 파악이 중요하다. 이 논문에서는 선하역사와 인접 교량과의 접속부의 역학적 특성에 따른 진동 특성 변화에 대한 검토 결과를 제시하였다. 해석 대상 역사는 대천역이며, ABAQUS로 유한요소해석을 수행하였다. 접속부 특성은 접속 교량이 있는 경우와 없는 경우, 그리고 있는 경우 라멘식과 받침형식으로 구분하여 검토를 수행하였다.
