가정전문간호사의 의사소통 유형에 따른 주돌봄자의 자기효능감과 스트레스 대처방식 (Primary Caregivers' Self-Efficacy and Stress Coping Strategy According to Home Care Nurses' Communication Styles)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the difference between primary caregivers' self-efficacy and coping strategy according to the communication styles of home care nurses. Methods: Data were collected from 123 primary caregivers of patients who were registered at a home care nursing center in D city and who had been receiving home care for more than 3 months from January 1 to February 27, 2018. The questionnaire included items on communication style, self-efficacy, and stress coping strategy. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, and ANOVA. Results: Regarding primary caregivers' self-efficacy in terms of communication style, the caregivers showed higher efficacy in providing informative and friendly communication (F=14.07, p=.001). Regarding home care nurses' communication style and the stress coping strategy of the primary caregivers, the informative-friendly communication style was adopted the most for the problem-solving coping strategy (F=7.17, p=.001). Regarding the social support-seeking coping, home care nurses' friendly communication style was the most adopted (F=4.40, p=.014). Conclusion: This study suggests that home care nurses will plan to provide informative and friendly communication-oriented nursing care, and to improve self-efficacy and positively influence the coping method by using the communication styles appropriate to the state of the primary caregiver.

간호학과 신입생의 학업탄력성에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting Academic Resilience of Nursing Freshmen)

  • 이 연구는 간호학과 신입생의 자기주도학습 준비도, 스트레스 대처와 학업탄력성의 관계를 파악하고, 학업탄력성에 자기주도학습 준비도와 스트레스 대처가 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위한 연구이다. 자료수집은 2022년 3월 15일부터 3월 26일까지 조사하여, 205부의 설문지를 분석에 사용하였으며 SPSS/WIN 25.0를 활용해 분석하였다. 대상자의 자기주도학습 준비도의 평균은 2.61점이고, 스트레스 대처방식의 평균은 2.14점, 학업탄력성의 평균은 2.36점으로 나타났다. 학업탄력성은 자기주도학습 준비도(r=.573, p<.001), 스트레스 대처방식 중 문제중심적 대처(r=.305, p<0.001), 사회적지지 추구 대처(r=.321, p<0.001), 소망적 사고 대처(r=.344, p<0.001)와 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 학업탄력성에 영향을 미치는 변수는 자기주도학습 준비도(β=.498, p<.001), 스트레스 대처방식 중 사회적지지 추구 대처(β =.203, p=.001), 전공만족도(β=.117, p=0.034)로 나타났고, 이들 변수의 설명력은 44.8%로 나타났다. 따라서 간호학과 신입생의 학업탄력성을 높이기 위해서는 자기주도학습 준비도와 적극적인 스트레스 대처방식을 향상시킬 수 있는 프로그램을 개발할 필요성이 있다.

유한요소법을 이용한 비귀금속-도재관 변연부 형태에 따른 응력 분포 분석 (Finite Element Analysis on Stress Distribution in Base Metal-Ceramic Crown Margin Designs)

  • The objective of this finite element method study was to analyze the stress distribution induced in a maxillary central incisor Ni-Cr base metal coping ceramic crowns with various margin design. Margin designs of crown in this experiment were knife-edge metal margin on chamfer finishing line of tooth preparation(M1), butt metal margin on shoulder finishing line(M2), reinforced butt metal margin on shoulder finishing line(M3), beveled metal margin on bevelde shoulder finishing line(M4). Two- dimensional finite element models of crown designs were subjected to a simulated biting force of 100N which was forced over porcelain near the lingual incisal edge. Base on plane stress analysis, the maxium von Miss stresses(Mpa) in porcelain venner was 0.432, in metal coping was 0.579, in dentin abutment was 0.324 for M1 model, and M2 model revealed in porcelain was 0.556, in metal coping was 0.511, in dentin was 0.339, and M3 model revealed in porcelain was 0.556, in metal coping was 0.794, in dentin was 0.383 for M4 model. All values of each material in metal-ceramic crown were much below the critical failure values.

사이버 명예훼손 피해자의 외상 후 스트레스가 대처행동에 미치는 영향 : 합리적 행동 이론을 중심으로 (Effects of Cyber Defamation Victims' Post-Traumatic Stress on Coping behaviour : Focusing on the Theory of Reasoned Action)

  • The purpose of this study examined how post-traumatic stress, caused when internet users in web portal or social media are defamed in cyberspace, influence on coping behaviour, through the Theory of Reasoned Action's two major factors: Attitude on behaviour and subjective norm. In so doing, it aims to provide a technical and political solution that would fundamentally prevent future victims in cyberspace. In an effort to examine its research theory, a survey was conducted on people who have had the experience of being defamed in cyberspace. The results showed, first, hypersensual has no significant influence over attitude on behaviour and subjective norm. Second, intrusion has no significant influence over attitude on behaviour and subjective norm. Third, avoidance showed significant influence over attitude on behaviour and subjective norm. Fourth, attitude on behaviour and subjective norm showed significant influence on behaviour. This study has both theoretical and practical significance; Unlike previous studies on cyber defamation with qualitative research method, this study employed quantitative method through theory-based approach. In other words, the researcher did not arbitrarily set variables, but utilized the Theory of Reasoned Action for examination.

대학생의 스트레스 대처방식과 강인성 (Ways of Coping and Health-Related Hardiness in University Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this descriptive study was to explain the relationship between ways of coping and health-related hardiness in university students at G city. Method: The participants were a convenience sample of 250 students. The data were collected by a questionnaire given to the students between June 1 to June 10, 2006. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression were used to analyze the data. Results: The most frequently used method of coping was pursuit of social support. The mean score for level of health-related hardiness was $3.34{\pm}0.55$. There were significant differences in ways of coping according to satisfaction with college life (F=4.036, p=.008). There were significant differences in health-related hardiness according to smoking or not (F=6.237, p=.002). There were positive correlation between problem focused coping and hardiness (r=.357, p=.000), between social support and hardiness (r=.345, p=.000), between hope seeking thought and hardiness (r=.247, p=.000). In regression analysis, ways of coping was significantly influenced by hardiness(16.6%). Conclusion: The results suggest that programs for strengthening hardiness can be considered as significant nursing interventions for helping university students cope with stress.

구급대원의 외상성 스트레스 영향요인 (Factors Affecting Posttraumatic Stress of Emergency Medical Personnels)

  • 본 연구는 구급대원의 외상성 스트레스, 사회적지지, 업무부담감과 대처형태를 알아보고 외상성스트레스와 적극적 대처에 영향을 주는 영향변수들을 알아보고자 하였다. 2009년 4~5월까지 중앙소방학교에서 교육 중인 전국과 C도에서 근무하는 구급대원들을 편의표집하여 총143부가 SPSS WIN 14.0 program을 이용하여 분석되었다. 외상성스트레스 검사는 Weiss(1997)가 다시 제작한 IES-R 도구를 사용하였고 최은숙(2000)이 수정, 개발한 업무부담감 측정도구와 오진환(2006)의 연구에서 수정 보완한 사회적 지지 측정도구와 이장호(1988)등의 연구에서 총 62문항으로 구성된 대처방식을 측정도구를 사용하여 분석하였다. 외상성스트레스 고위험군은 74명(51.7%)로 나타났고 일반적 특성에 따른 외상성스트레스 정도는 나이, 결혼, 학력, 직급에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 유의수준 p=0.000에서 고위험군이 외상성 스트레스의 모든 세 하위영역(t=20.25), 업무부담감(t=5.75), 소극적 대처(t=4.19)와 적극적 대처방법(t=5.61)에서 높은 것으로 나타났다. 외상성스트레스와 주요변인간 상관관계는 유의수준 p=0.000에서 사회적 지지를 제외한 업무부담감(r=0.508), 적극적 대처(r=0.375), 소극적 대처(r=0.505)와 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 구급대원들의 외상성스트레스에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 업무 부담감(0.371)과 소극적 대처(0.366)로 나타났고 또한 외상성 스트레스 고위험군에 가장 영향을 주는 변수로도 업무 부담감(odds ratio=1.064, 95% 신뢰구간:1.031-1.103)과 소극적 대처(odds ratio=1.050, 95% confidence interval:1.022-1.080)로 나타나 일치하였다. 적극적 대처에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 외상성 스트레스(0.392)와 사회적지지(0.158)로 나타났다. 따라서 구급대원의 외상성 스트레스를 감소하기 위해 업무부담감을 줄이고 소극적 대처를 감소시키고 대신 사회적 지지를 높여 적극적 대처를 할 수 있는 정책적 대안이 필요하다.

가정자원, 통제소재 및 스트레스 대처방법이 주부의 가정자원관리 스트레스에 미치는 영향 (The Influences of Family Resource Locus of Control and Coping Styles on the Stress from the Family Resource Management in Housewives)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the degree of the stress from the family resources management according to objective resources and to investigate the relative importance of the variables which affect the stress from the family resources management in housewives. The subjects of this study were 565 married women who lived in apartment in Taegu. A questionnaire was used as survey method. The data was analyzed by means of factor analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test and multiple regression analysis. The main findings were as follows First there was significant difference in the degree of the stress from the family resources management according to the objective resource. Second, the stress from the family resources management were more affected by perceived adequacy resource, the passive coping style, size of apartment than other variables.

학령기 아동의 스트레스와 대응전략에 관한 연구 (A Study of Stress and Coping Strategies in School-Age Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the stressors and coping strategies of school -age children and to explore the relationship between stressful life events and health symptoms and the effects of coping and trait anxiety which is theoretically considered to mediate the relationship between stress and health symptom. The study subjects consisted of 639 elementary school children in the fourth to sixth grade living in Seoul. Of the 639 subjects, 348 were boys and 291 were girls. The mean age was 11.35 (SD=.86). The Feel Bad Scale(FBS), Schoolager's Coping Strategy Inventory(SCSI), Spielberger's Trait Anxiety Scale for Children(STAIC), and Health Symptom Questionnaire (HSQ) were adapted for this study. A pilot study was undertaken to ascertain the reliability and validity of the instruments. The Cronbach alphas of FBS, SCSI, STAIC and HSQ were from .81 to .92. The Researcher and a research assistant visited the school and data were collected in the class using the questionnaire method after an explanation of the purpose and procedures was given to the children. Data collection was done during the period between Nov.25 to Dec.19, 1995. Using the SAS statistical program, percentages, t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and multiple regression were used for data analysis. The result are as follows : 1. The mean score for the FBS was 204.79(range : 48-472) and there was a significant difference according to grade. The most severe stressors perceived by children were parental divorce and death or illness of family members. The most frequently experienced stressful life events were conflict with siblings and being home alone. 2. The mean score for the SCSI was 57.36(range : 9-118) and there was a significant difference according to grade. The most frequently used, and perceived as helpful, coping strategies were distraction and cognitive activities. 3. The mean score for the HSQ were 20.7(range : 0-81) and there were significant differences according to grade and sex. The percentage of the children answering that they perceived their health state as not good was 3.9%. 4. The mean score for the STAIC was 33.76 and there were significant differences according to grade and sex. 5. There was a significant relationship between stressful life events and health symptoms ( r=.53, p<.01). Also, Stressful life events were postively related with coping strategies(r=.39, p<.01). Trait anxiety was highly correlated with health symptoms(r=.72, p<.01). 6. To examine the multivariate effects of the variables to health symptoms, multiple regression was performed. Stressful life events, coping, trait anxiety, and health concerns were identified as significant variables. Explanation of the health symptoms by these variables was 56.78%. The study revealed that stressful life events correlated with health symptoms in school-age children and coping and trait anxiety had mediating effects on this relationship. The implication for nursing is that there is a need to develop supportive interventions for high risk population to decrease health problems due to stress. Also, it is recommended that a study be conducted to explore protective factors for the prevention of health problems in children.

산재 환자를 간병하는 가족원의 대처경험 (The Coping Experience of Family Caregivers for the Industrial Disaster Victim)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to understand the coping experience that family caregivers undergo during the process of care, to grasp coping behaviors used to solve problems and, finally, to develop a substantive theory by analyzing the coping process. Method: The methodology of collecting and analyzing data used in this study followed the ground theory. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with open-ended and descriptive questions about the subjects' coping experiences. The survey was conducted between May 2006 and August. The subjects of this study were 10 women. Result: The result of the study is as follows. Core category of This Study was "Self-Sacrifice". And The coping process of family caregivers while taking care of the industrial disaster victim was found to have five stages: shocked stage; undertaking stage of new role; skilled stage; exhausted stage; and desiderating stage. Seven coping behaviors were found to reduce the stress of role and anguish resulting from care. Conclusion: The result of this study is helpful for developing effective industrial nursing strategies suitable for each coping stage. It is necessary to practice nursing mediation and to analyze the change about nursing effect and family caregivers' adaptation.

초기 청소년의 자아존중감과 스트레스 대처방식 (A Study of Self-esteem and Stress Coping Skills in Early Adolescence)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between self-esteem and coping skills among middle school students. Method: The participants were 674 students in three middle schools in GyeongGi-Do. The data were collected from June 10 to 20, 2005. The instruments used were the Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale and the Ways of Coping Checklist. The data were analyzed using the SPSS-Win 12.0 program. Result: Self-esteem showed a significant positive correlation with positive coping skills (r= .162. p= .000). As for the positive coping skills, there was a significant difference by grade (F= 4.69, p= .010), relationship with parent (F=4.036, p= .02), and relationship with siblings (F=3.902, p= .02). As for the negative coping skills, there was a significant difference by grade (F=3.05, p= .04), condition of living with parents (F=3.559, p= .02), economic status (F=3.736, p= .02), relationship with sibling (F=3.408, p= .03), and troubling matters (F=5.422, p= .005). Conclusion: Positive coping skills may be effective for adjustment because they positively related to self-esteem. Self-esteem and coping skills should be considered when an adolescent's mental health enhancement program is designed.
