How Do Children Interact with Phishing Attacks?

  • Today, phishing attacks represent one of the biggest security threats targeting users of the digital world. They consist of an attempt to steal sensitive information, such as a user's identity or credit and debit card details, using various methods that include fake emails, fake websites, and fake social media messages. Protecting the user's security and privacy therefore becomes complex, especially when those users are children. Currently, children are participating in Internet activity more frequently than ever before. This activity includes, for example, online gaming, communication, and schoolwork. However, children tend to have a less well-developed knowledge of privacy and security concepts, compared to adults. Consequently, they often become victims of cybercrime. In this paper, the effects of security awareness on users who are children are investigated, looking at their ability to detect phishing attacks in social media. In this approach, two Experiments were conducted to evaluate the effects of security awareness on WhatsApp application users in their daily communication. The results of the Experiments revealed that phishing awareness training has a significant positive effect on the ability of children using WhatsApp to identify phishing messages and thereby avoid attacks.

Developing Measures for Empirical Research on Economic Activities of the Convergence Generation: Exploratory Approach

  • Ultimately, this research will focus on the activity traits of future customers in the convergence age. To accomplish that, firstly, researcher develop measures for assessing the convergence level of digital devices and digital services. Next, this will investigate the behavioral traits of people who use specific devices or services on the internet or mobile networks. This study proposed five convergence measures each for devices and services. For digital devices, measures such as converged functions, accessibility to network, portability, immediate communicability, and expandibility of functions were utilized. For digital measures such as scope of users, newness, social network level, ease-of use on mobile networks, and expandibility of information were used. We believe that the research results can provide insights for those wishing to explore the convergence level of devices and services and those developing high-level converged devices and digital services.

Student Group Division Algorithm based on Multi-view Attribute Heterogeneous Information Network

  • The student group division is benefit for universities to do the student management based on the group profile. With the widespread use of student smart cards on campus, especially where students living in campus residence halls, students' daily activities on campus are recorded with information such as smart card swiping time and location. Therefore, it is feasible to depict the students with the daily activity data and accordingly group students based on objective measuring from their campus behavior with some regular student attributions collected in the management system. However, it is challenge in feature representation due to diverse forms of the student data. To effectively and comprehensively represent students' behaviors for further student group division, we proposed to adopt activity data from student smart cards and student attributes as input data with taking account of activity and attribution relationship types from different perspective. Specially, we propose a novel student group division method based on a multi-view student attribute heterogeneous information network (MSA-HIN). The network nodes in our proposed MSA-HIN represent students with their multi-dimensional attribute information. Meanwhile, the edges are constructed to characterize student different relationships, such as co-major, co-occurrence, and co-borrowing books. Based on the MSA-HIN, embedded representations of students are learned and a deep graph cluster algorithm is applied to divide students into groups. Comparative experiments have been done on a real-life campus dataset collected from a university. The experimental results demonstrate that our method can effectively reveal the variability of student attributes and relationships and accordingly achieves the best clustering results for group division.

범죄 피해자의 초상권보호 개선방안 (Protective Way Improvement of a Crime Victim's Rights of Portrait)

  • 전통적 형사법체계에서 범죄피해자는 실체적 진실을 파악하기 위한 심리의 대상으로 전락되어, 범죄로 인하여 인간의 기본적인 인권을 침해당했음에도 불구하고 범죄피해자의 권리는 간과되고 말았다. '잊혀진 존재' 또는 '주변적인 존재'에 불과 하던 범죄피해자에 대한 피해자학의 연구과제는 형사법체계에서 범죄 피해자가 인격적 자율성과 인간의 존엄성을 향유하는 것일 것이다. 우리나라에서 피해자에 대한 논의가 처음 등장한 것은 헨티히(Hans Von Hemtig)가 1948년 피해자 연구의 필요성을 역설한지 23년이 지난 후이며 최근에 와서 '범죄피해자 구조법', '성폭력범죄의 처벌 및 피해자 보호 등에 관한 법률', '범죄피해자 보호법'등 범죄피해자의 인권보장과 보호를 위한 제도의 보완이 계속되어 왔다. 그러나 현실에서 보면 제한적 범죄 내에서 피해자 보호를 위한 제도적 장치를 마련하는 성과가 있었지만 현실적인 권리 구제와 보호는 아직 미흡하다고 생각한다. 이에 본 연구는 범죄피해자의 초상권 보호 개념을 살펴보고, 그 문제점과 현행 구제 제도를 검토하여 그 개선방안을 찾고자 한다.

중국에서의 자동차 공유의도 요인과 공유 행동에 관한 연구 (Factors that Influence the Sharing Intention of Vehicle and Sharing Behavior in China)

  • 인터넷과 스마트폰 기반의 사회적 경제 활동의 일종으로, 물건이나 공간, 서비스를 빌리고 나눠 쓰는 공유경제는 융합 분야의 새로운 연구 주제이다. 가장 대표적인 공유경제 영역으로 공간 공유와 자동차 공유가 있다. 본 논문은 자동차 공유의도의 선행요인과 공유행동을 미치는 요인들을 파악하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 선행연구에 바탕으로 공유의도와 관련된 경제적 혜택, 사회적 혜택, 사회적 영향, 심리적 혜택, 지각된 위험을 연구 변수로 도출하고, 이들이 공유의도에 어떤 영향을 끼치는지 연구하였다. 한국과 달리 중국은 자동차 공유가 법적으로 허용되고 많은 활성화 되어 있다. 가설을 검증을 위해서 중국 시민한테 설문지를 수거하였고, SPSS 프로그램으로 통계분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 경제적, 심리적 혜택, 사회적 영향, 지각된 위험은 공유의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났지만, 사회적 혜택은 가설과 다르게 공유의도에 영향을 미치지 않았다. 또한, 공유의도가 공유행동에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

여가활동, 여가동기, 자기효능감 및 주관적 안녕감간의 관계 (The relation of Leisure participation motivation, Activity, Self efficacy and Subjective well-being)

  • 본 연구는 지금까지 여가현상 규명의 영역이 체육학이나 관광학등에 편향되어왔음을 지적함과 동시에 여가 활동, 여가참여동기, 자기효능감 및 주관적 안녕감간의 관계를 통해 한국문화권에서의 여가 현상을 이해해보기 위해 수행된 것이다. 구체적인 연구문제로 1) 한국의 여가동기와 여가활동의 양상, 2)각 여가동기와 자기효능감간의 상관관계 그리고 3)각 여가동기와 주관적 안녕감간의 상관관계를 설정하였고, 대학생 270명을 통해 연구결과가 크게 3가지로 나타남을 확인할 수 있었다. 첫째, 여가동기는 자기개발 및 자기향상동기와 정서 및 심리적 안정추구동기로 나누어지며, 전반적인 여가활동은 소위 정적이며 소극적이라고 불리어지는 활동들이 나타났고 둘째, 분류된 두 동기에 따른 개개인의 자기효능감간에는 유의미한 관계가 나타나지 않았으며 셋째, 정서 및 심리적 안정추구동기로 여가를 경험한 개인이 자기개발 및 자기향상동기로 여가를 경험한 개인보다 주관적 안녕감과 유의미한 관계가 있었다. 위와 같은 연구결과들은 여가활동과 여가동기에 대한 문화적 인식에 따라 여가현상에 대한 이해 및 인식이 달라질 수 있음을 시사해준다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 함의, 제한점과 향후 연구 방향을 논의하였다.

인터넷게임장애 환자들의 내재동기 저하와 기본심리욕구의 관련성 (The Relationship between Low Intrinsic Motivation and Basic Psychological Need in Internet Gaming Disorder)

  • Due to the increasing use of the internet, various social problems have been emerging, and one of them is internet gaming disorder (IGD). The purpose of this study was to investigate whether low internal motivation was present in IGD and basic psychological needs affected internal motivation. Twenty-one individuals with IGD and 21 healthy controls performed a 'motivation task' in which the avatar in virtual reality asked whether they would accept an activity in two conditions stimulating intrinsic or extrinsic motivation. The task performance was compared between the two groups, and was correlated with the Basic Psychological Needs Scale scores. Patients had a significantly lower acceptance rate of the proposal in the intrinsic motivation condition than controls, and this intrinsic motivated tendency was correlated with the satisfaction in their basic psychological needs. As with other substance use disorders, IGD was associated with a lower level of internal motivation, which was related to the dissatisfaction of basic psychological needs such as autonomy, competence, and relationship.

A novel route restoring method upon geo-tagged photos

  • Sharing geo-tagged photos has been a hot social activity in the daily life because these photos not only contain geo information but also indicate people's hobbies, intention and mobility patterns. However, the present raw geo-tagged photo routes cannot provide information as enough as complete GPS trajectories due to the defects hidden in them. This paper mainly aims at analyzing the large amounts of geo-tagged photos and proposing a novel travel route restoring method. In our approach we first propose an Interest Measure Ratio to rank the hot spots based on density-based spatial clustering arithmetic. Then we apply the Hidden Semi-Markov model and Mean Value method to demonstrate migration discipline in the hot spots and restore the significant region sequence into complete GPS trajectory. At the end of the paper, a novel experiment method is designed to demonstrate that the approach is feasible in restoring route, and there is a good performance.

The Singular Economy: End of the Digital/Physical Divide

  • The divide between the "digital" economy and the traditional "physical" economy is outdated. In fact, we are in a transition to a singular economy. This paper classifies economic objects (including actors) as either physical or virtual and argues that due to emerging technologies, these objects are interacting with each other in both physical and increasingly digital spheres in tandem. This paper recognizes the elemental difference between atoms and bytes but argues that physical and digital economic activities are becoming inseparably intertwined. Furthermore, arbitrarily dividing the economy into two categories - one "physical" and the other "digital" - distorts the overall view of the actual execution of economic activity. A wide range of innovations emerging concurrently is fueling the transition to a singular economy. Often referred to as the elements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), four emerging technological areas are reviewed here: distributed ledger technology, artificial intelligence/machine learning/data sciences, biometrics and remote sensor technologies, and access infrastructure (universal internet access/electricity/cloud computing). The financial services sector is presented as a case study for the potential impact of these 4IR technologies and the blurring physical/digital line. To reach the potential of these innovations and a truly singular economy, it requires the concurrent development of social, organizational, and regulatory innovations, though they lag in terms of technological progress thus far.

헬스케어 디바이스에서의 신뢰성 기반 메시지 전달 시스템 (Reliability-based Message Transmission System in Healthcare Devices)

  • 사물인터넷(IoT)은 개인, 공공, 산업 등 국가 사회 현안 해결의 수단으로 활용 가치가 있으며, 특히, 헬스케어산업에 사물인터넷 기술을 적용되고 있다. 사물인터넷 기반 헬스케어 서비스를 위해서는 신뢰성 및 보안성 보장이 중요하며, IoT 헬스케어 디바이스에 적합한 통신 프로토콜, 무선 송수신 기법, 신뢰성 기반 메시지 전달 등의 필요성이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 oneM2M 기반 헬스케어 서비스 적용 모델을 제안하고 헬스케어 서비스에 적용하기 위해 체온, 가속도 센서를 통해 체온 및 활동량에 대한 상태를 측정하여 oneM2M을 기반으로 개발된 Mobius 플랫폼으로 전달하도록 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.
