Environmental Design Factors for Open Space in Healing Facilities - Focused on Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital and The Nationwide Children's Hospital -

  • The open space of the healing facility should contribute to the psychological and social healing of the users, provide a social environment for rest, and provide a design factor to support the walking path to move to the destination-connected space. In this paper, I examined the relationship between the environmental elements, spatial devices, and the characteristics of the design factors in the open space for healing facilities. As a research method, based on the analysis of previous studies, a healing facility in modern society was defined, and the relationship between the social support and physical environment factors of the healing facility where open space was considered. Through the consideration of cases, the characteristics of the physical space environment, and the design factors of the open space in the healing facility were categorized. As a result of research, open space in the healing facility is a space to promote a social exchange of users, as a physical form for accommodating psychological and social healing functions, it is necessary to construct the connection of the external space with the internal space.

위장관 암환자의 외상 후 성장 영향요인 (Factors Influencing Post-Traumatic Growth in Patients with Gastrointestinal Cancer)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the influencing factors of post-traumatic growth in patients with gastrointestinal cancer. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted, enrolling 120 patients with gastrointestinal cancer. Their general characteristics, disease-related characteristics, perceived illness intrusiveness, levels of optimism, social support, and post-traumatic growth were assessed through self-administered questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, oneway ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression analysis. Results: The mean score of post-traumatic growth was 52.74 points(total score of 92 points). Among the subscales of post-traumatic growth, levels of the preciousness of life were the highest, and relating with others was the lowest. The post-traumatic growth was found to be significantly correlated with optimism (r=.48, p<.001), social support (r=.47, p<.001), and depression (r=-.37 p<.001). Factors associated with post-traumatic growth were optimism (β=.36, p<.001), social support (β=.31, p<.001), and depression (β=-.27, p<.001). Conclusion: Given that prevalence of gastrointestinal cancer is increasing in Korea, identifying general, psychological, and social factors affecting post-traumatic growth among this population will be helpful in clinical practice. Integrated strategies to increase optimism and social support and lower depression should be considered to improve the post-traumatic growth of patients with gastrointestinal cancer.

  • The aim of this paper is to identify the characteristics of social economy in social farming practices, and to explore three core factors of experiment, openness and locality, which have a significant impact on the working-mechanism of social innovation. Though a few social farming practice appear nowadays in Korea, it can be witnessed social economic factors such as cooperation between networks and solidarity actors, pursuing social values in social farming. On the basis of the conceptual framework on the social economy characteristics, this study examines case analysis in order to find the possibilities as a social innovation of the social farming. Three farms perform multiple functions of care, labour integration, training in farming area, and sometimes make collaboration work with artists and local residents. Social farming can be social innovation practices in the view of the interaction of experiments, openness and locality within the context of an innovation process, networking, enhancing social capital.

  • Purpose - Recently, internet access and social network utilization using smart phone are increasing. In such a smart environment, interactive activities such as information generation, information searching and information sending are increasing rapidly on-line environment. Therefore, consumers tend to purchase something according to eWOM and also meet the social consensus online environment. In connectivity society, consumers became accessible and engaged in the opinions of others easily. Many decisions that seem like personal decisions are actually social decisions on online connectivity. This paper seeks to explore factors that can help generate a social decision on purchasing of new products in an online environment. Research design, data, and methodology - The process of collecting a lot of wisdom and making an agreement online is called social decision. The purpose of this paper is to examine empirically the influence of factors such as online ties, online eWOM expectancy and online information behavior on online social decision. In addition, We studied online social decision by analyzing the moderating effect of new product innovation. To understand this structural relationship, research hypotheses and research models were set up and empirical analysis was conducted. In order to verify the hypothesis, 208 questionnaires were collected from the residents of Seoul city/Gyeonggi province. The answered questionnaire verifies reliability and validity using SPSS/AMOS and test hypotheses through path analysis and multiple regression analysis. Results - According to the research results, First, online ties don't have a positive impact on online social decision, Second, online eWOM expectancy have a positive impact on online social decision. Third, online information behaviors have a positive impact on online social decision. The degree of innovation of new products have a moderating effect between Independent variables of three factors and dependent variable of social decision. Conclusions - Social decisions have a positive impact on purchasing decisions about new product. There is a great significance in the fact that the online social influence and online social decision have been studied academically. It is meaningful that we have studied in depth the changing phenomenon of consumer purchase decision process in smart environment. The results of these studies provide academic and practical implications.

사회적기업의 부실에 영향을 미치는 비재무요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Non-financial Factors Affecting the Insolvency of Social Enterprises)

  • 본 연구는 우리 경제에서 사회적기업의 역할이 증가함에 따라, 사회적기업의 부실에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하여 부실률을 낮추고 기업부실로 인한 사회적 비용을 감소하는데 도움이 되고자 한다. 본 연구에 사용된 데이터는 신용보증기관의 신용보증을 지원받고, 2009년부터 2018년 사이에 설립된 사회적 기업(예비 사회적기업 포함) 중에서 2022년 6월말 기준으로 정상기업과 부실기업으로 분류하였다. 수집된 사회적기업의 수는 재무정보 활용이 가능한 439개를 대상으로 하였으며, 정상기업은 406개(92.5%), 부실기업은 33개(7.5%)이다. 선행연구를 통하여 부실예측에 주로 사용하는 비재무적요인 8개를 선정하였다. 교차분석 결과 4개가 부실에 대하여 유의한 변수로 나타났고. 채택된 4개의 변수를 대상으로 로지스틱 회귀분석을 한 결과로 기업신용등급, 대표자개인신용등급 등 2개 변수가 부실에 유의한 변수로 채택되었다. 또한 부채비율, 매출액영업이익율, 총자산회전율 등 재무요인을 통제변수로 사용하여 분석을 수행하였다. 실증분석 결과, 사회적 기업의 부실에 영향을 미치는 독립 변수들이 재무적 요인을 통제한 상태에서 2개 변수가 영향력을 유지하고 있음이 확인되었다. 지금까지와 같은 정부 주도의 육성·지원 정책으로는 한계가 있어 민간·지역의 자발적인 주도로 다양한 사회적 가치를 지향하는 기업들이 사회적기업으로 유입되고 사회적경제 주체와 지역·주민이 함께 연대하여 사회적가치를 실현할 수 있는 환경을 조성하고 정부는 이를 적극적으로 지원할 수 있도록 정책의 방향을 전환할 필요가 있다.

Determinants for the Social Acceptance of New Emerging Science and Technology: The Case of Genetically Modified Foods

  • This study identifies the structural determinants of the social acceptance of genetically modified (GM) foods across European countries. Toward this end, we suggest an integrated theoretical model to explain the social acceptance of GM foods by including both perception factors (perceived benefit, perceived risk, feelings, trust, and knowledge) and value factors (ethical concerns, science optimism, religiosity, and ideology). This model is then tested by analyzing survey data collected from 18,634 Europeans in 32 countries. The results indicate that first, not only perception factors but also value factors significantly contribute to explaining the acceptance of GM foods. Second, perceived benefits, perceived risk, feelings, and ethical concerns tend to be the four biggest determinants for acceptance. Third, this two-factor model could be generalized even with variation across countries. Finally, ethical concerns and scientific optimism play a moderating role between predictors and outcomes in the acceptance of GM foods.

The Relationships Between Children's Perceptions Toward Grandparents and Their Intimate Behavior

  • This study is focused on the causal relationship between children's intimate behavior and the level of perception towards their grandparents. Their perceptions are related to factors such as proximity, similarity, superiority, favorableness, and self-disclosure. We clarified the relation between intimate behavior and perception using effect factors of children's behavior regarding their grandparents so that this study could be used as an elementary material in developing a solution to improve grandparent-grandchild relationship where the grandparent actively encourages grandchildren's intimate behavior. Regression analysis was used as a hypothesis testing method. The results indicated the following three points. First, perception factors affect active intimate behavior in the order of favorableness, superiority, self-disclosure, and similarity. Second, perception factors affect intimate behavior will in the order of favorableness, superiority, and self-disclosure. Lastly, it was shown that a child's active intimate behavior has an influence on their intimate behavior will.

  • Social Network Service(SNS) is a kind of advanced Internet service that acts as personal media. This study was intended to find out the structural relationships among factors affecting the usage of social network services by extending the Technology Acceptance Model(TAM). For this purpose, the variable 'Flow' was first integrated into the TAM in order to understand the internal motivations of users. And then the external factors of SNS usage were derived from the perspective of users, contents, and media side of SNS, and finally the dependent variable was set with the intention of sustainable use. Then these factors were carefully integrated into a structural model. We expect the findings of this study will be very helpful for the internet marketing professionals, SNS developers, and the others.

지역사회에 거주하는 뇌졸중 장애인의 정서적 자각 수준과 스트레스가 지역사회 참여에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Emotional Awareness Level and Stress on Social Participation in Stroke Disabled Persons Living in the Community)

  • 지역사회에 거주하는 뇌졸중 장애인을 대상으로 정서적 요인과 스트레스 요인을 파악하고, 사회적 참여 수준에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 자료 수집은 지역사회 복지관, 보건소, 지역사회 서비스를 이용하는 뇌졸중 장애인에게 정서적 자각 능력, 스트레스, 사회적 참여 수준에 대한 자료를 수집하였다. 일반적 특성에 따른 사회적 참여 수준은 기술통계와 일원배치분산분석을 실시하였다. 정서적 자각 수준, 스트레스, 사회적 참여 수준 간의 상관성은 피어슨 상관분석, 사회적 참여 수준에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 사회적 참여 수행도와 만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 정서적 요인의 하위영역에서 통계적으로 유의한 요인이 나타나지 않았다. 스트레스 요인의 개인 내적 스트레스와 개인 간 스트레스는 시회적 참여 수행도와 만족도에 모두 통계적으로 유의한 변인으로 나타났으며, 수행도는 34%, 만족도는 33%의 설명력을 보였다. 따라서, 지역사회 뇌졸중 장애인의 성공적인 재활과 지역사회에 재통합을 이룰 수 있도록 스트레스요인을 고려한 다양한 접근이 이루어져야하며, 사회적 참여 수준에 영향을 미치는 심리사회적인 변인을 파악하는 추가적인 연구가 필요하다.

코로나19 상황 속에서 소셜커머스의 선택요인에 관한 연구 (A study on the growth factors of social commerce in the COVID-19 situation)

  • 본 연구는 소셜커머스 이용자들이 인식하는 소셜커머스 선택요인의 중요도와 만족도가 어떠한 차이를 나타내는지, 소셜커머스 선택요인과 재구매 의도 간에 영향 관계가 존재하는지 확인하고자 하였다. 2021년 9월 1일부터 9월 17일까지 17일간 설문조사를 실시하였고, 316부를 실증분석에 이용하였다. 분석 결과, 소셜커머스의 선택요인은 안전성, 편의성, 경제성, 정보성, 집단성, SNS 관련성 6개 요인으로 구분되었다. IPA 결과는 1사분면 편의성, 2사분면 SNS 관련성과 정보성, 3사분면 집단성, 4사분면 안정성과 경제성의 순으로 나타났다. 소셜커머스 선택요인과 재구매 의도 간의 영향 관계에서는 소셜커머스 선택요인 중 편의성, 경제성, 안전성, 정보성이 재구매 의도에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구의 결과로 기존 소셜커머스가 저렴한 가격에 중요하였다면 코로나19 상황에서 비대면 상거래는 편의성이 더 중요하다는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. IPA를 통하여 지속적으로 이용자들의 쇼핑 경향을 파악하고 선제적으로 대응할 수 있는 체계를 구축하는 것이 무엇보다 중요할 것으로 사료된다.
