타이트 핏 청바지의 착용 실태 및 제품 치수 조사 -20대 여성을 중심으로- (A Survey on the Wear Test and Product Size of Tight Fitted Blue Jeans -Focused on the Females in Their 20's-)

  • This study used data from a survey of adult Korean women in their twenties to learn their current practices for wearing and purchasing tight-fit jeans available on the market as well as perceptions regarding size measurements and satisfaction levels. We then determined product sizes and pattern measurements for the type of jeans worn. This study also analyzed discrepancies in product size measurements among brands to determine whether the measurements were generally suitable for average body shapes and measurements of women in their twenties. The study results were as follows. First, the survey asked women in their twenties about current practices in wearing jeans. Many respondents answered that their preferred fit is "a perfectly snug fit" and that the most common fit style of jeans was the skinny fit. Second, we selected a test pair of jeans with an identical fiber content from brands that women prefer to wear, according to the survey results. We researched the product measurements of the size respectively labeled 27 inches for each of the 8 brands' test jeans; consequently, the results showed that there were significant differences among the brands in the product measurements of each part of jeans. Third, we analyzed the pattern measurements of 8 selected brands for each area and identified pattern characteristics by brand.

O자형 다리 20대 여성의 팬츠 패턴 연구 (A study of pants pattern for bowlegged females in their twenties)

  • This study aims to rectify the disfigurement of bowlegged, (which means they have a gap between knees due to knee joint problems) females in their twenties through the development of pants patterns. The contents of the study are as follows: First, two types of basic pattern-making methods were selected. Two mock-ups, which were made by using these pre-selected basic patterns, were worn by three bowlegged participants and evaluated with a fit test. A basic pattern, which had good body fit was selected, which had a bubble or a wedge at in crotch area and roomy or snug upper thigh. Second, the mock-up, which was made by using the selected basic pattern, led to the outward movement of crease lines. Two types of patterns that were adjusted were evaluated through a fit test. As a result, an effective adjustment for moving the crease line to the outside or to the center was to cut along the slash line of a horizontal balance line to, but not through the crotch seam to spread the pattern at the hip. Third, three patterns were readjusted using the chosen alteration pattern, and the crotch seam and spread patterns of 1 cm, 2 cm, and 3 cm at the hip were applied. As a result of the evaluation of the fit test, three participants-the majority-showed a better fit when the spread amount in the pattern was 2 cm, although every participant did have a different gap between the knees. This study has significance in which rectifies the disfigurement of bowlegged individuals through the development of patterns for females in their twenties who are bowlegged.

  • The use of advanced composite materials has grown in recent years in aerospace and other structures. Out of various kinds of repairing methods the one selecteh for this study is an idealized case which simulates a situation where a damaged laminate has been repaired by drilling a hole and therefter plugging the hole with reinforcement. Two typesof reinforcement are investigated ;adhesively bonged plug reinforcement or snug-fit unbonded plug in the hole. For each case of reinforcement, four different sizes of hole diameter and three types of reinforcing material(steel, aluminum, plexiglass) are employed for investigation. The experiment are mainloy forced on the evaluation of ultimate strength of laminate with reinforced hole in comparison to its counterpart with the open hole.

  • Mechanical properties of the materials used for transportations and industrial machinery under high stain rate loading conditions have been required to provide appropriate safety assessment to these mechanical structures. The Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar(SHPB) technique with a special experimental apparatus can be used to obtain the material properties under high strain rate loading condition. There have been many studies on the material behavior under high strain rate compressive loading compared to those under tensile loading. In this paper, mechanical properties of the aluminum alloy, Al6061-T6, under high strain rate tensile loading were determined using SHPB technique.

Coronal flaring 전, 후 초기근관장 파일크기의 분석 (THE ANALYSIS OF INITIAL APICAL FILE SIZE BEFORE AND AFTER CORONAL FLARING)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the initial apical file(IAF) first Ole that fits to the apex in each canal before and after early flaring to analyze if the size of file to fit to the apex would increase after flaring. Eighty anterior teeth with complete apical formation and patent foramens were selected. The samples were randomly divided into 4 groups(GG, OS, GT, PT Group) of 20 teeth each. A file was fit to the apex in each canal and that size recorded. Radicular flaring were completed using different types of instruments. After flaring a file was again fit to the apex in the same manner as before and its size recorded. The results of this study were as follows : 1. The mean diameter of IAF before flaring(file diameters in $mm{\times}10^{-2}$) was $19.81{\pm}8.32$ before and $25.94{\pm}9.21$ after(p<0.05). 2. The increase in diameter of IAF was approximately one file size for all groups. 3. Ranking of increasing diameter of IAF were GG>CT>OS>PT group. There was a statistically significant difference between before and after flaring(p<0.05). 4 Ranking of the time for flaring were GG>GT>OS>PT group. There was a statistically significant difference between GG group and other groups(p<0.05). 5. In the case without change of IAF diameter, they showed decrease in force after flaring when IAF was pulled out from root canal(p<0.05). This study suggested that early radicular flaring increases the file size that is snug at the apex, and awareness of that difference gives the clinician a better sense of canal size. Early flaring of the canal provides better apical size information and with this awareness, a better decision can be made concerning the appropriate final diameter needed for complete apical shaping.

여성용 briefs 패턴설계 -20대 여성의 기본 사이즈를 중심으로- (Pattern Design for Women's Briefs)

  • This study attempts to propose a pattern design of snug fitting midi briefs for women. Each briefs made of two kinds of fabric, cotton 40's and cotton 40's spandex, was produced for the research in a different shrinkage rate. The result of wearing test of the briefs-sold-in-the-market (BSM) and the briefs-specially-made-for-this-research (BSMR) were as follows: BSMR showed a higher mark than that of BSM in the sense of close fit on the torso, comfortableness, sense of being tight, satisfaction and beauty. In particular, the back design line of BSM gave a lower satisfaction to test wearers, while that of BSMR gave a more comfortableness to them, making their hip comfortably being wrapped by making smoother the angle of the straight line linking sidelines with clutch part, and making sidelines into curve. In a forward research, further studies about grading and other patterns but midi pattern of briefs would be examined.

낙엽송집성재를 이용한 기계프리커트 주먹장접합부의 인장성능 (Tensile Performance of Machine-Cut Dovetail Joint with Larch Glulam)

  • 전통공법에서는 주로 소나무를 수가공하여 구조부재로 사용하고 있다. 주먹장 접합(이음, 맞춤)은 일반 가구나 구조부재의 접합에 사용되고 있으며, 수가공이나 간단한 기계가공에 의해 쉽게 가공할 수 있는 이점이 있다. 비록 외관상 선형적인 가공이 주를 이루지만, 손쉬운 짜맞춤이 될 수 있어야 하는 고도의 가공정밀성이 요구된다. 더욱이, 장부와 장부받이는 틈새없는 긴결한 접합이 이루어져야 한다. 주먹장접합부에 대한 과학적인 연구는 체계적으로 수행된 예가 많지 않으므로 전통공법과 국산재 활용이라는 관점에서 낙엽송집성재를 기계가공하여 이용하였다. 통주먹장이음 접합부의 인장성능을 파악하기 위하여 150 mm 정각 낙엽송 집성재를 사용하였으며, 내력성능에 영향을 끼치는 주먹장의 다양한 기하학적 요소(장부 너비, 길이, 각도)에 대해 조사하였다. 보강목을 설치하지 않은 시험편은 장부받이(장부홈)의 모서리부에서 할렬이 발생하며 내력도 낮게 나타났다. 기둥머리의 화통맞춤 및 주두와 같은 상황을 고려한 보강시험편은 최대인장내력에서 2배 이상의 성능을 발휘하였다. 장부의 적정각도는 25도 수준이었으며, 어깨폭의 변화와는 상관성이 없는 것으로 나타났다.

블루 진의 시각적 이미지에 관한 연구 - 한국과 중국 20대 여성을 중심으로 - (Research on the Visual Image of Blue Jeans - Focusing on Korean and Chinese Women in Their 20s -)

  • This study aims to investigate the differences in blue jean styles and the visual images associated with them. To achieve this, literature reviews, case studies, and surveys were conducted. The results are as follows. 1) Based on previous studies, it was found that the design elements influencing the style of blue jeans and their visual images include waistline position, silhouette, details, decorations, and color. Additionally, differences in the preferences and visual evaluations of Korean and Chinese individuals regarding the style of blue jeans were confirmed. 2) Skinny blue jeans are typically characterized by a high waistline and a length that reaches the ankles, featuring a snug fit with stretchy fabric. Straight blue jeans, on the other hand, usually have a natural or high waistline and cover the instep, with a straight silhouette descending from the thigh to the hem. Bell-bottom blue jeans are primarily high-waisted and cover the instep with a silhouette forming a bell shape from the knee to the hem. 3) Korean and Chinese women in their 20s evaluated skinny, straight, and bell-bottom styles of blue jeans as having a 'casual' image. However, they also associated bell-bottom style blue jeans with 'unique' and 'attractive' images. Interestingly, Korean women described skinny-style blue jeans as making someone look 'youthful', while Chinese women perceived them as 'sophisticated', 'making the waist look thicker', and 'unassuming'. As for straight-style blue jeans, Korean women saw them as 'well-fitting', while Chinese women described them as 'making one appear taller', 'desirable', and 'free-spirited'.
