A Study on the Success Factors Impacting on the Small Construction Projects (소규모 건설 프로젝트의 성공요인 도출에 관한 연구)

  • The small construction projects under $\\5$ billion occupy 90$\%$ of Korea construction industry. Because of the lack of the right recognition and management tool for the small construction projects, it is difficult to carry out successfully. This study recognized the present status of the domestic small construction industry through the questionnaire with experts. By the analysis of the questionnaire, this study finds items such as the management methods and the success factor about the small projects. Also the study suggests the conceptual framework that the construction party could manage the small project effectively.

  • Small/medium software businesses are often at a disadvantage when trying to win government contracts. Rather, most of small/medium software companies work with larger companies in the form of subcontracting. In its broadest meaning, subcontracting refers to the purchase of a part of a product or process from a different company. Appropriate subcontracting system helps both large and small software firms keep in healthy. However, many problems regarding subcontracting have been reported and recognized as one of major obstacles impeding advancement of the software industry. This paper examines the current problems in subcontracting system by conducting a field survey and proposes directions to improve the system for software project. It suggests revision of 'Software Industry Promotion Act' to induce fair relationship among software firms.

A Software Process Certification Model of Small sized Software Development Using Scrum (스크럼을 활용한 소규모 소프트웨어 개발 기반의 소프트웨어 프로세스 인증 모델)

  • It is difficult to apply a Software Process Certification to small scale project, because of much activities and documents for manage project and guarantee the qualities in small manpower. This paper presents optimized Software Process Certification Model for small scale software development, a combine Scrum with essential elements of NIPA's(National IT industry Promotion Agency) SP-Certification model. The proposed model defined minimum Activities and Documents for SP Certification. The model that I showed consists of 16 Processes and 58 Activities, and 39 Artifacts are created. As a result of having compared proposed model with a Standard Process of Small Business, I confirmed that a small scale project's burden reduced because Activity decreased 38% and Document decreased 20%. In order to verify the validity of the proposed model, applied it in two small scale projects, and compare with the project by Scrum process only, it finished that systematic management was possible without additional manpower, and reached SP-Certification level 2.

Input-Output Analysis on the Economic Effect of the Korean Traditional Retail Market Supporting Project

  • Purpose - This study analyzes an economic effect on the project that Korean government supported for the vitalization of traditional markets using an input-output model. From 2002 to 2013, the government provided 180.8 billion won for a Management Modernization Project and 2.851 trillion won for a Facility Modernization Project for vitalization of traditional markets. Research design, data, and methodology - The present study conducted inter-industry analysis by matching industries related to the Traditional Market Project for the measurement, and calculated the ripple effect of each project. Result - The results from the study showed that from 2002 to 2012, the Management Modernization Project and Facility Modernization Project showed a 296.1 billion won effect on production inducement, a 158.7 billion won value-added inducement effect, and a 3,135-person effect on employment inducement in total. From 2002 to 2013, the Facility Modernization Project showed a 6.948 trillion won effect on production inducement, a 2.1109 trillion won effect on value-added inducement, and 40,209-person of effect on employment inducement in total. Conclusions - This study provided an empirical demonstration of a clear effect of the governmental support to traditional markets on developing regional economies. In particular, this study empirically analyzed and presented that there were a considerable amount of an economic effect by region due to governmental policy support to traditional markets.

  • This study aims to analyze the performance of the beneficiaries of the SMEs(Small and Medium Enterprises) support project that has been handled online on the 'BizOK System', which is the integrated support system for SMEs in Incheon, by comparing before and after receiving support. Various performance indicators can be used, but this study used the rate of increase in sales, exports and employed manpower collected by the 'BizOK System'. Moreover, to analyze the trend of business performance by corporate feature, this study grouped the businesses into 7 categories including sales, business history, number of employees and capital. The results of this study are expected to be used in drawing implications for business support policies by utilizing them as basic data for enhancing efficiency of the support project and establishing corporate policies.

  • The purpose of this study is to make a Result analysis on the free inquiry Method of elementary school student. also, this study investigates how free inquiry activities effect the science Process skills and environment-friendly attitudes of elementary school student For this study 150, sixth year, elementary school students from Busan city were selected. The inquiry examined the effectiveness of each of the following free inquiry methods: the PBL inquiry, the Project inquiry, the IIM inquiry, the small group inquiry and the science notebooks inquiry. The students were divided into groups in which they incorporated the respective methods into their practice. Test showed the following results: The environmental class which applies a free inquiry method(PBL inquiry, Project inquiry, IIM inquiry, small group inquiry and science notebooks) was effective in science process skills improvement. Second, The environmental class which applies a free inquiry method((PBL inquiry, Project inquiry, IIM inquiry, small group inquiry and science notebooks) was effective in environment-friendly attitude improvement.

  • In order to minimize occupational accidents at worksites, the government is proposing and operating various safety and health policies. The safety and health management capabilities of domestic workplaces vary greatly depending on the size of the workplace, and in particular, safety management is difficult in workplaces with fewer than 50 employees, resulting in a relatively high accident rate. Therefore, the government is operating the safety and health technical support project for small business sites to establish safety and health in small business. In this regard, this study provided a plan for substantiating the safety and health technical support project. through the condition survey of the workplace.

  • Purpose - This study aims to suggest appropriate policies and performance indicators for financial aid recipients. It analyzes the existing regular government policy funds support project, especially its propriety and reasonability. Research design, data, and methodology - When financial aid is effective, it should be able to predict small enterprise business results. Additionally, there should be an evaluation, checking before and after performance rates so that the rate of achievement and outcome can be measured. This study's contribution for small enterprises is in researching the best way to improve this support system. Results - The Small Enterprise and Market Service (SEMAS), currently designated as a support organization for implementing the government financial aid project, has assessment indicators. However, these focus mainly on quantitative indicators and survey results. Conclusions - In the future, there is some need to draw up measures, setting the right direction for developing policies for the small enterprise fund loans and improving the management of the plans. Eventually, this effort will dispel concerns about the present support policy, which is considered to be weakening small enterprises.

  • Global conglomerates in the late 2010s are seeking changes from the existing method of financial growth into that of sustainable growth, as they are facing the age of 4th industrial revolution. In preparation for this change of the times and to stay competitive, small businesses are required to produce creative knowledge, and systematically share and store it by means of implementing voluntary and specific changes in their convictions and actions. This study aims to empirically examine how the ICT small businesses' organizational learning participants' self-leadership affect their job satisfaction through organization orientation and Leader-Member Exchange(LMX). The research sample consists of the first to third-year employees that have previously participated in the small businesses' organizational learning support project, and of learning leaders, group leaders, and group members from companies that have previously concluded the project. The results are as follows: First, the self-leadership at the ICT small businesses' organizational learning project has been shown to have a positive effect on job satisfaction. The same positive results are shown in learning orientation and LMX. Second, the learning orientation has been shown to have a positive effect on job satisfaction. Third, the LMX has been shown to have a positive effect on job satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study is to find important factors for establishment of masterplanner operating model in residents' participation regeneration project suitable for small provincial city compared with Seoul city's which were already operated these days. The study showed the following results: 1) Conditions required for masterplanners are professional, regionality, sustainability, balance, independence. 2) Regionality and professionality can be guaranteed by expert-recommendation and perform manual suitable for character of project and regional conditions. 3) Conditions required for masterplanners are applied flexibly depending on the size and duration of project.
