The realistic plan to establish a silver market in the clothing industries has not taken concrete shape, although the interest in the establishment of a silver market targeting the aged as a new custom group Is gradually Increasing because the rapid development of science and medical technology in the 20th century has led to an extension of lift and improvement of living conditions. The specialized business which produces and sells the clothing for the elderly is of small number and most of the clothes for the elderly are manufactured and sold by the companies for women's clothing in which change the size or length of the original works rather than reflect the bodily features of the elderly. The findings indicated that domestic brands showed the coordinated concept of a suit of jacket and slacks or skirts while the clothes were formed with a variety of coordinations centering around single article in the U.S brands. But, there was no difference in the use of natural materials centering around cotton and silk etc. and in the use of embroidery, lace and decorative details between the two countries. The knit brands of knit suit style in Korea were formed with the items focused on pull over and cardigan twin set, while the U.S brands were mainly formed with the design of knit suit style. The domestic knit brands were mostly developed with complicated patterns and gorgeous colors, while most of the U.S. brands were presenting a single or two tone color suit style and evening one-piece dress with a simple and modern style. The sporty casual brands of sporty casual style in Korea had a variety of colors and patterns focused on function and comfort for diverse leisure activities and daily life, while the U.S brands were established to present a variety of styles with the items of single article because they had a separate brand for casual even though it was not a exclusive brand for the elderly This study has a meaning in the presentation of the design idea considering the bodily shape of the elderly compared to the ready-to-wear considering the size alone, by examining the characteristics of bodice according to the physical change of the elderly women, analyzing the design of madam brand and the style of the ready-to-wear, researching the general circumstances of the brand for the elderly women, and highlighting the necessity of the elderly clothing market.

Banya was a concubine slave of Shindon(辛旽) who was a powerful monk in late Goryeo Dynasty, as well as the mother of King Woo(禑王), a successor of King Gongmin(恭愍王). This study was undertaken to investigate the sources of costume for Banya. The study focused on the features of Buddhist service costume, street wear, and daywear for common women's costume during the prime age of the Buddhist culture. The study looked into Buddhist paintings, old documents, advanced research, and relics. There are three characteristics of historically investigated Buddhist service costume for Banya: Dallyeongpo(團領袍), long Jeogori made with black Ra(羅), and Jeogori with a long scarf. Skirt, under Jeogori, under skirt, Cho, Ra(羅), Neung (綾), Dan(緞), patterned ramie(紋紵), and Tapja(塔子) were included in all Buddhist service costume. And, street wear consisted of Women's Dapho(婦人搭忽), long Jeogori, skirt, underwear and black Ra beil(蒙首). Daywear consisted of Banbi(半臂), long Jeogori, and skirt, underwear made with cheap fabric, Ju(綢), ramie, and imported cotton. Plumper hair, silver comb and Biyeo, lining of light pink-colored thin silk(小紅薄絹), bronze openworked ornament that fixed the outerwear's opening, bronze needle case, Sutra box and heated gemstone could be matched for the Buddhist service costume. Bronze and heated gemstone could be used for ornaments of street wear and daywear. The investigation of ornaments was carried on by referring to presentation of overseas collections. Considering the limitation of the study on Goryeo costume due to the lack of research material, future studies including much more relics in oversea collections needs to be undertaken.

최근 주 5일제 근무 실행과 사회복지의 확산, 여가 선용에 대한 욕구와 더불어 건강증진에 대한 싸이클이 주목을 받고 있음. 싸이클웨어(Cycle Wear)에 요구되는 개발요소는 경기력 향상을 위한 기능적 요소와 패션성을 부여하는 심미적 요소로 크게 구분 가능하며 해외에서는 기능성과 패션성이 적절하게 조화를 이룬 제품을 계속 출시되고 있음. 본 연구에서는 운동 시 발생하는 열을 흡한속건 기능으로 효과적으로 발산하고 동절기에는 보온 기능을 갖는 세섬도 하이멀티 OY형 이형단면사 및 잠재권축사를 이용한 고신축 환편 및 경편물 개발하고, 극한환경에서도 고견뢰도를 유지할 수 있는 섬유의 염색법 및 기능성 발현 가공법의 적용, 내마모성과 필링이 우수한 아라미드+나일론 복합가공사 신축직물 제직 및 염색가공 공정 개발을 통해 기능성을 발현할 수 있는 싸이클 웨어 원단을 개발하였음. 또한 종래 Compression Wear에만 적용하던 테이핑 요법을 응용한 근력강화형 싸이클웨어 패턴과 디자인 개발을 통해 다양한 형태의 근력강화형 싸이클웨어를 개발하였으며, 무산소파워, 유산소파워, 젖산분석, EMG 분석 및 에너지 대사분석 등의 운동능력 성능평가를 통해 테이핑 요법이 적용된 싸이클웨어의 근력강화 효과를 확인하였음. 이와 같이 개발된 싸이클웨어는 무산소파워, 유산소파워, EMG 분석에서 각각 근력강화 효과를 보였으며, 피로물질인 젖산의 경우는 발생의 정도가 낮게 나타났음. 또한 여성에 비해 남성의 근력강화 효과가 크게 나타나는 경향을 보였음.

Based on an investigation of Miao ethnic group costumes, this research focuses on redesigning and reinterpreting of the Miao costume. The results are summarized as follows. According to the constitution of the clothes, the decorative parts and the way people wear them, women's clothing can be divided into five categories: Sangseohyeong, Geomjungnamhyeong A, Geomjungnamhyeong B, Cheongeomjeonhyeong, Haenamhyeong. Miao consists of straight lines with creases for both skirts and trousers. With the excess part of the belt or apron, X-shape and H-shape are formed. There are three basic decorative patterns: geometric patterns, animal patterns and plant patterns. In addition, there are three color values: warm, cool and dark. Silver Jewelry plays such an important role in the Miao Costume that the process of the production is also very special for the Chinese national dress. According to the features of the five types of Miao, then redesign and re-interpreted of them.

Frictional behavior of a single carbon nanotube(CNT) was investigated using molecular dynamics simulation. A single CNT aligned horizontally on silver or graphene substrate was modeled to evaluate its frictional behavior such as frictional force and rolling/sliding motion with respect to potential parameter and lattice structure of the substrate. As a result, it was found that friction and rolling was affected by adhesion between two surfaces and period of the rolling depended on lattice distance of the substrate.

This research suggested a draft proposal for a smart jacket design, which has applied wearable technologies to provide convenience in daily life. The smart jacket combined with a vest was the casual item for autumn and winter. The heating device was composed of the heating element, battery, controller, electric wire, connector, switch, and charger. A stable electronic conductor fiber of good heating effect with a flexible zigzag form has been selected for the heating element. The lighting device has been made in a way that attaches the LED and its power controller in the same mechanical device. As the result of the wearing test, the heating effect turned out to be effective in the order of: back, both the back and abdomen and only the abdomen. When wearing a smart jacket, the back and abdomen have been selected as favorable body parts for heating. Pockets and hems are selected as the adequate place to attach the LED lighting, and the brightness of LED lighting has turned out to be suitable and useful. Based on the test results, the first draft proposal has attached the heating element only in the back and its controller located in the inside pocket of the vest. In addition, the LED has been attached to the front pocket of the jacket. As to the second draft proposal, heating elements have been placed in the back and the abdomen. Each controller for the heating elements has been placed in the front and inside pocket of vest, and the LED lighting has been attached to the hem of the jacket. The smart jacket combined with a wearable device was assessed by functioning categories. The user showed a high satisfaction in the heating and illuminating function of a smart jacket.

This study investigates the developmental conditions of functional clothes for the elderly. First, preceding studies and relevant web sites were analyzed along with a survey of commercial functional elderly clothes in Korea. A KIPRIS patent information database was used to study registered and disclosed patents and utility models in order to analyze patent application trends in relevant fields. Patents were searched by year of application from 1990 to 2013. Keywords used for searching included 'senior, aged, and elderly'. Among collected data, overlapping and irrelevant data were excluded to select 162 cases for analysis. Details of analysis are annual patent application trends of functional elderly clothes, topic analysis, shape and characteristics. An examination of commercially available functional clothing products for the elderly indicated that most of products were developed in the form of inner wear or protective clothing for seniors who have bodily discomfort. An annual patent application of functional elderly clothes showed slight fluctuations; however, there was an overall increase. For patent topics, technologies related to secretion and excretion were the most at 47 cases total (29%), followed by 23 cases (14%) on biometric information technology. However, the development of relevant technologies seems necessary in the future as therapeutic function and fiber technologies gradually stagnate.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the characteristics of Chinese minority women's waistbands, in view of their lifestyle, costume, and symbolism. The research method combined literature research and case study. In the case study, this research targeted the secondary data of a total of 215 pieces from books, articles and the internet. A total of 5 pieces per each representative women's waistband of 43 minorities, excluding those who did not wear a waistband, we collected. We then quantitatively analyzed the form and decoration of the waistbands. As a result of considering the form, the waistbands of Chinese minorities per region were closely related to the costumes, mainly showing high similarity in respect to color and decoration. Moreover, the decorations of the waistbands were most often made from their own area's special products, such as silver, bronze, cotton, and linen, amongst other. The form and decoration of the Chinese minority women's waistbands were all connected with functionality, aesthetic impression, and symbolism, which can be said to be an important part of understanding Chinese minority costume culture. This research contributes to the development and preservation of Chinese minorities' costume culture by considering and analyzing unique costume factors besides giving excellent fashion design ideas for contemporary fashion.

palestein had been a part of Islamic culture before Israel was established after World War II and their daily lives had been totally affected by the Korean, Consequently, the idea of clothing, types of women clothes and it's characteristics reflected in the Koran have been studied and the results are as follows: First, the idea of clothing reflected in the Koran emphasizes the equality of the sexed and treats women as men's equal partner. Second, in the Koran there is almost no reference on men's clothes, but it only recommends women to wear veil to cover their faces and bodies when they go out. The Koran argues that it is not to restrict women but to protect them. Third, due to it's geographical location, Palestinian clothes had been affected by it's neighboring areas, and the gumbaz-a kind of coat - is one of the examples of Turkish origin. In the beginning the gumbaz had been worn by upper class Palestinian women and subsquently by urban Nazareth women. They used to slip on gumbaz on their heads and shoulders. Fourth, In Palestein they wore jacket over coat or dress. The emboridered jacket from Bethlehem was mostly worn their wedding dress. Fifth, the headdress and face-veil in Palestein are the most unique ones and married women decorated headdress and face-veil with gold or silver coins which they received as wedding presents, and wrapped all their coin decorations in black cloth when husbands are dead. Bedouins decorated not only with coins but also with shells, buttons, stones and beads to articulate their chastity, social status, aestheticism, religion and magic.

It is supposed that the future fashion could be made by the scientist instead of fashion designer. Because it is so intellectual and avantguard. In addition to this the practical value and a certain identity is needed in this future fashion. Especially, the intention of no acceptance of categorization could be explained through the fashion clud of young people and the extremeness in the street. Paul Hedmus has insited that Tokyo club is closely related the fashion styles depended on the western historical street fashions. Fashion is mixeded contrasted, modified, resembled, reversed and finally it includes the new neaning. Instead of distinguishable logo there are lots of messages in the fashion. There are a few thousand of young people who wear silver max metal shoes. And they craze the neon picture and advertisement implies meaning the drug. It could be applied to the people of 90's. The difference between sex from the stone age is induced basically from the fashion and the part of discussion of sex. In this study we research the images of future fashion showed in SF Movie, Star Wars, Episode, The 5th Elements, Nirvana. Those were geometric and natural, technological expansion of space, corset fashion acessoruy image and geometric expression and these characteristics implied in modern fashion trend and future fashion images. Because it is supposed to the future image of current fashion. The millenium fashion is more realistic, practical, and natural instinct realization of ideal. but it is not the unrealistic, the vague of the regendary image.
