  • The purpose of this study was to analyze career behaviors(job exploration, job hunting) of the need mode in the women's second labor market transition. To obtain this objective 501 women, who quitted their job in 780 women randomly sampling completed questionnaire. To analyze data, $x^2$, ANOVA were executed. Research results were explained, there were no difference career behaviors, experience of career counseling, experience of career education, aspiration of career behaviors by the need mode in the women's second labor market transition. But, there were difference motivation of labor market entry, career barriers, preference of occupations, level of job competence of career behaviors by the need mode in the women's second labor market transition. The implications of the results on women's second labor market transition of developing career education and counseling programs were discussed and finally suggestions for further study were made.

  • In this paper, we study some limit properties of the harmonic mean of random transition probability for a second-order nonhomogeneous Markov chain on the generalized gambling system indexed by a tree by constructing a nonnegative martingale. As corollary, we obtain the property of the harmonic mean and the arithmetic mean of random transition probability for a second-order nonhomogeneous Markov chain indexed by a double root tree.

  • The low-lying electronic states of diazirine and 3,3'-dimethyldiazirine have been studied by high level ab initio quantum chemical methods. The equilibrium geometries of the ground state and the first excited singlet and triplet states have been optimized using the Hartree-Fock (HF) and complete active space SCF (CASSCF) methods, as well as using the Møller-Plesset second order perturbation (MP2) theory and the single configuration interaction (CIS) theory. It was found that the first excited singlet state is of 1 B1 symmetry resulting from the n- π* transition, while the first excited triplet state is of 3 B2 symmetry resulting from the π- π* transition. The harmonic vibrational frequencies have been calculated at the optimized geometry of each electronic state, and the scaled frequencies have been compared with the experimental frequencies available. The adiabatic and vertical transition energies from the ground electronic state to the low-lying electronic states have been estimated by means of multireference methods based on the CASSCF wavefunctions, i.e., the multiconfigurational quasidegenerate second order perturbation (MCQDPT2) theory and the CASSCF second-order configuration interaction (CASSCF-SOCI) theory. The vertical transition energies have also been calculated by the CIS method for comparison. The computed transition energies, particularly by MCQDPT2, agree well with the experimental observations, and the electronic structures of the molecules have been discussed, particularly in light of the controversy over the existence of the so-called second electronic state.

  • The method for the Schlo"gl model with the first order transition is extended to the Scho;gl model with the second order transition for a photochemical reaction. We obtain the explicit results of the time-dependent average and the time correlation function at the unstable steady state of the model in the neighborhood of the Gaussian white noise and then discuss the effect of noise on the dynamic properties.

  • Lead-free (1-x)$(Na_{0.5}K_{0.5})NbO_3-xLiNbO_3$, i.e., NKN-LNx (x=0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 mol) was prepared using the conventional solid state reaction method. The effects of LN mixing on the ferroelectric properties of NKN-LNx ceramics were studied using a dielectric constant and P-E (Polarization-electric field) measurements. Ferroelectricity was observed in the composition for x approximately varying between 0.0 and 0.4. Minimum remanent polarization $2P_r=5C/cm^2$ was achieved in the composition for x = 0.2. The ferroelectric phase transition temperature $T_C$ increased with increasing LN content. The ferroelectric phase transition of NKN-LNx ($x{\geq}0.1$) is a second-order phase transition, and that of NKN-LNx ($x{\leq}0.2$) is a first-order phase transition. These results indicate that the ferroelectric phase transition temperature of NKN-LNx change from that of second-order to weak first-order phase transition according to the LN content.

  • Objective: Using data from the Panel Study on Korean Children, this study investigated the influence of teacher'thoughts about the transition from ECEC to primary school in relation to learner-centered teaching methods and children's school adjustment. Methods: We analyzed the longitudinal data of 658 seven-year-olds from the 8th and 9th waves of the panel study of Korean children collected by the Korea Institute of Child Care and Education in 2015 and 2016. The main analysis method was Structural Equation Modeling(SEM). Results: First, theachers' thoughts about the transition from ECEC to primary school was noteworthy. Second, the more concern a theacher' had about transition, the higher their learner-centered teaching method. Third, teacher' concern about transition influenced children's school adjustment. Fourth, a teacher's learner-centered teaching method mediated concern about children's transition and school adjustment in the first year and the second year. Conclusion/Implications: According to the results of this study, 1st grade teachers' concern about the transition from ECEC to primary school has been found to be predictors of children's school adjustment.

  • The specific heat of a partly deuterated triglycine selenage (DTGSe) crystal under $\gamma$-irradiation was measured. It was shown that $\gamma$-irradiation defects changed the thermodynamic behavior of DTGSe crystal in a small dose region. The order of the phase transition changed from the first to the second at D=0.3 MR.

  • Dual bell nozzle is one of the most promising choices among the altitude adaptation nozzles. This facilitates having a forced, steady and symmetrical separation at lower altitudes and a controlled flow separation at the wall inflection point which prevents the generation of dangerous side loads. In order to ensure the attached flow in the second bell, a clear understanding of the flow transition is required. Hence the motivation of our study is to arrive at an optimum profile for the second bell, which allows a sudden and controlled transition. In this work, we designed the first bell using the conventional MoC and the second bell using an inverse MoC, imposing a pressure gradient constraint. A CFD analysis is also carried out. It is found that the separation point is near the inflection point within one fourth of the extension length or it is near the exit.

  • In this study, synthetic time series wind data was generated numerically using a second-order Markov chain. One year of wind data in 2020 measured by the AWS on Wido Island was used to investigate the statistics for measured wind data. Both the transition probability matrix and the cumulative transition probability matrix for annual hourly mean wind speed were obtained through statistical analysis. Probability density distribution along the wind speed and autocorrelation according to time were compared with the first- and the second-order Markov chains with various lengths of time series wind data. Probability density distributions for measured wind data and synthetic wind data using the first- and the second-order Markov chains were also compared to each other. For the case of the second-order Markov chain, some improvement of the autocorrelation was verified. It turns out that the autocorrelation converges to zero according to increasing the wind speed when the data size is sufficiently large. The generation of artificial wind data is expected to be useful as input data for virtual digital twin wind turbines.
