  • This study analyzed the factors affecting online class satisfaction and tried to use it as basic data for more effective class management. The survey was collected on 208 students majoring in dental laboratory technology in Jeonbuk and Chungbuk. The data were analyzed by reliability analysis, descriptive stastistics, compare means(t-test, one-way ANOVA), Pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwies multiple regression analysis(SPSS program). The analysis results showed that expected benefit of time was 3.87, expected benefit of learning was 3.30, technology familiarity was 3.40, and class satisfaction was 3.21. The most influential factor in class satisfaction was technology familiarity. In order to increase the online class satisfaction, it is necessary to build a learning environment to improve the ability to learning tools used in classes and technology familiarity with the online class system.

Research design, data and methodology: Data from the 24th fiscal year (2021) of the Korea Labor Panel data were used for analysis. Only wage earners who measured job satisfaction and organizational engagement were analyzed, and a sample of 9,138 respondents was finally used, excluding missing values. Structural Equation Modeling was performed using AMOS 23.0, and Maximum Likelihood Estimation (MLE) was used as a model estimation method. Results: First, the hypothetical structural model set up for the study was found to be suitable. Second, the Possibility of Socioeconomic Class Elevation of wage earners, happiness, and organizational commitment were found to have a direct impact on life satisfaction. Third, the possibility of improving the socio-economic status of wage earners affects life satisfaction, and happiness and organizational commitment appear to have a partially mediating effect. Conclusions: This study is significant in that it has increased interest in organizational participation and life satisfaction, which were not covered in previous studies on the possibility of wage workers moving up the socioeconomic class.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of science-centered convergence class program using realistic contents such as virtual reality and augmented reality on class satisfaction, scientific attitudes and the perception of the gifted students in middle school. After developing the convergence class program including realistic contents using smart devices, we applied it to the gifted students. We analyzed the class satisfaction, scientific attitude and perception of the gifted students through questionnaires. In addition, a survey was conducted on the pre-teachers to investigate and analyze the class satisfaction, scientific attitude of the science class program to students and the perception of science classes using realistic contents. As a result, both students and pre-teachers were positively aware of class satisfaction by science class program using realistic contents. In particular, it was positive in that the class can induce learning motivation and interest. On the other hand, it was pointed out that the low-quality App and lack of infra for smart devices were disadvantages. In addition, pre-teachers lack confidence and information about class using the realistic contents, but they recognize the need of classes using realistic contents for students and education for pre-teachers. Based on this, it obtained suggestions on the preparation of facilities and equipment in schools for future education, development of contents that can be used for convergence class, development of programs and teaching·learning materials using realistic contents, and education for pre-teachers.

  • This study examined the effects of free writing in writing class targeted for engineering students on their writing skills. To assess the effects, we have asked 100 engineering students from writing class to write free writing, classifying them as the test group(N=50) and the control group(N=50). We have also compared their learning effect, their writing ability, and learning satisfaction via pre and post intervention surveys. The results showed higher change in learning effect, interest in writing, learning attitude, writing ability, learning satisfaction in the test group compared to the control group. This positive change proves that free writing is a significant teaching method in writing class for engineering and science students.

  • This study investigated the degree of influence of satisfaction with lab classes related to the culinary arts major on academic stress and class participation in the major. This survey was conducted on 228 first-year students majoring in culinary arts at six junior colleges in the Gwangju, Jeonnam and Jeonbuk regions in the second semester of 2023. For data processing, SPSS Ver. 25.0 was used. We conducted general characteristics, reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis on the survey data. As a result of this study, first, it was found that there was a correlation between the sub-components of satisfaction with cooking-related lab classes and academic stress and class participation. Second, the influence of satisfaction with cooking lab classes on major academic stress was found to be significant. Third, satisfaction with cooking lab classes had a significant influence on class participation in major classes. In conclusion, satisfaction with lab classes in cooking-related majors at local community colleges was found to have an effect on academic stress and class participation. In the future, we look forward to follow-up research on how culinary practice experience before entering college affects satisfaction with practical training classes, academic stress, and career and employment preparation.

  • Background: To investigate the mediating effect of learning flow in the relationship between blended learning achievement and learning satisfaction in dental hygiene students, and to identify whether face-to-face studies should be substituted with non-face-to-face studies. Methods: Total 134 dental hygiene students, who underwent blended learning in the dental hygiene class during the first semester of 2021, were recruited. The research tools were blended learning achievement, learning flow, and learning satisfaction, comprising 15 questions in total. Mediation regression analysis was used to analyze the mediating effect of learning flow in the relationship between learning achievement and learning satisfaction, and that between each variable. Results: Learning flow and learning satisfaction (r=0.490, p<0.001) were positively interrelated, and the interrelation between variables was statistically significant. Class environment had the biggest effect as a subfactor of class achievement, and it appeared to have an effect on class attitude and learning motive. The effect of learning flow on learning satisfaction was statistically significant. Learning flow was partially mediated by both blended learning achievement and learning satisfaction. Learning flow was directly related to blended learning satisfaction and learning achievement. Conclusion: The results showed the possible use of blended learning in dental hygiene theory and practical subjects.

  • This study attempted to investigate the effect of class satisfaction of the students majoring in the studies of security services on the efficacy of career decision. To do this, I chose 430 security services of the students majoring by the systematic stratified cluster random sampling as the subject of study. All data were analyzed the causal relationship of the collected equation. In order to do a data analysis used descriptive statistics analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis of SPSS. As a result, the following conclusion was drawn: First, it was found that there was not a statistically significant(learning factor, interpersonal relation, aptitude factor) difference in their major class satisfaction and career decision efficacy(goal choice, future plan, working information) according to gender. Second, it was found that there was a statistically signifiant difference in such factors as learning, interpersonal relations and aptitude, in relation to the difference in subfactor such as major class satisfaction and career decision efficacy. Third, it was found that the learning, aptitude and career factors of major class satisfaction had a statistically significant effect on the future plan. Fourth, it was found that he learning and career factors of major class satisfaction had a statistically significant effect on the resolution of the goal. Fifth, it was found that the aptitude and career factors of major class satisfaction had a statistically significant effect on job information. Sixth, it was found that the career factors of major class satisfaction had a statistically significant effect on the problem-solution. Therefore, we must first give priority to improve the class satisfaction. By doing this, we can raise the efficacy level of career decision.
