The role of the Polytechnician as state engineer in the making of modern engineering science in France has been well known. This article articulates the role of the civilian engineers and the two engineering schools producing those civilian engineers in the making of typically French engineering tradition, particularly in mechanical engineering. The mechanical engineers from Ecoles des Arts et M$\acute{e}$tiers and Ecole Central des Arts et Manufactures played a significant roles in the making of modern engineering sciences through their contributions to the making engineering as a theoretical sciences and to the mediation of the technicians and the managers in mechanical engineering.

Fourteen Special high schools for developing talents in Science, Foreign Languages, and Arts in Seoul Metropolitan city were analyzed in terms of their educational objectives, Students screening system, curriculum, teaching-learning methods, teachers, and consistency with higher education. Special high schools in talent area were more or less similar to each other in all the above aspects. However, special high schools in different talent areas were quite different in student screening, teaching-learning methods, teachers, and consistency with higher education. Public schools were more affluent than the private ones. Special high schools in Science, arts and Sports were providing individualized, activity oriented, process-oriented teaching-learning methods, while the Foreign languages high schools excercised teacher-centered, grammar oriented, lecture-focused teaching methods more. Special high schools in arts and sports could have consistency with higher education because the university focuses on talents in the specified field rather than academic scores. In conclusion, the schools have a great deal of rooms to improve in teaching-learning methods with which students can maximize their potential development. However, the special high schools were equipped with better learning environments than regular high schools in many aspects.

In this study, we have investigated the possibility of whether any spacelike Frenet plane of a given space curve in Minkowski 3-space $\mathbb{E}_1^3$ also is any spacelike Frenet plane of another space curve in the same space. We have obtained some characterizations of a given space curve by considering nine possible case.

Supporting real-time flows with delay and throughput constraints is an important challenge for future wireless networks. In this paper, we develop an optimal scheduling scheme to optimally choose the packets to transmit. The optimal transmission strategy is based on an observable Markov decision process. The novelty of the work focuses on a priority-based probabilistic packet scheduling strategy for efficient packet transmission. This helps in providing guaranteed services to real time traffic in Heterogeneous Wireless Networks. The proposed scheduling mechanism is able to optimize the desired performance. The proposed scheduler improves the overall end-to-end delay, decreases the packet loss ratio, and reduces blocking probability even in the case of congested network.

The article considers innovative teaching methods used in the system of modern education process. Characteristic features of means, forms and methods of innovative training are defined, it is revealed the specifics of their use in the interactive educational environment of Ukrainian universities. In this paper we prove the existence of mild solutions of a first order impulsive initial value problems for functional differential equations in Banach spaces. The results are obtained by using the Lerey-Schauder nonlinear alternative fixed point theorem.

This article establishes an equality for the case of twice-differentiable convex functions with respect to the conformable fractional integrals. With the help of this identity, we prove sundry midpoint-type inequalities by twice-differentiable convex functions according to conformable fractional integrals. Several important inequalities are obtained by taking advantage of the convexity, the Hölder inequality, and the power mean inequality. Using the specific selection of our results, we obtain several new and well-known results in the literature.
