가동중 정비를 위한 Risk Monitor 개발 (Risk Monitor Development for On-Line Maintenance)

  • Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI) developed a risk monitor called Risk Monster which supports for plant operators and maintenance schedulers to monitor plant risk and to avoid high peak risk by rearranging maintenance work schedule. Risk Monster can update the plant risk continuously according to the change of system/component configuration since Risk Monster reevaluates the plant risk based on the Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) results. A brief description of Risk Monster is provided. The PSA model of UCN 3, 4 nuclear power plant was converted by KAERI to Risk Monster model. Using this Risk Monster model, a feasibility study of the on-line maintenance of an Essential Service Water (ESW) pump was performed. On-line maintenance of one ESW pump has been shown to be acceptably safe, and has economic benefits. In addition, it is not a violation of technical specification to continue plant operation with an out-of-service ESW pump.

아파트 시설물 유지관리가 입주자의 주거만족도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Apartment Facility Maintenance on the Residential Satisfaction of Residents)

  • 이 연구는 아파트 시설물 유지관리 및 화재안전시설관리가 입주자의 주거만족도에 미치는 영향에 대한 해결방안을 제시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시설물 유지관리는 주거만족도에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 시설물의 고장이 많을수록 입주자의 주거만족도는 낮아지는 것으로 분석되었다. 즉 관리주체 직원들은 반복적인 업무이기 때문에 입주자 민원 요청에 소홀할 때 주거만족도에 부정적인 영향을 미치므로 관리주체에서 결코 가볍게 지나치면 안 되는 사항으로 관리교육지원과 시설물 유지관리를 높여 입주자들의 주거만족도를 높여야 함을 보여준다. 둘째, 화재안전시설은 주거만족도에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 화재안전시설에 대한 작동불량이 많을수록, 소방용품의 교체가 많을수록 입주자의 주거만족도는 낮아지는 것으로 분석되었다. 즉 아파트 단지 내에는 안전문화인식 수준이 낮을 수 있기 때문에 이에 대한 대응력이 취약할수록 화재안전시설에 대한 의존도가 높고 안전을 중요함을 보여주어 관리주체에서는 화재안전시설에 대한 피해를 저감시켜 입주자들의 주거만족도를 향상시켜야 할 필요가 있다. 마지막으로, 입주자의 화재안전의식 강화방안으로 소방계획서에 의한 화재진압과 피난 대처요령에 관한 입주자의 교육과 훈련을 반복적으로 시행할 필요가 있다.

산업용 오버헤드 도어의 사고 예방 : 유지관리 및 병렬구조 안전장치를 중심으로 (Safety of Industrial Overhead Doors : A Review of Maintenance and Parallel Safety Devices)

  • This study analyzes the impact of regular preventive maintenance (PM) on reducing the failure rate and occurrence of falling accidents of industrial overhead doors. A reliable safety device model with an additional safety device, which is installed to replace a defective one, is proposed. The research methodology involves collecting breakdown and falling accident records, comparing and analyzing data before and after regular PM implementation, and experimenting with two types of retrofittable safety devices. Key findings are as follows. 1. Regular PM implementation significantly reduces the failure rate of old overhead doors. 2. A parallel structured model with two alternative safety devices can minimize falling accident risks. The study's contributions include the following. 1. The positive impact of PM on extending overhead door lifespan is quantified. 2. A general safety device model that can be retrofitted and used as replacement with a fail-safe function is proposed.

항공안전증진을 위한 항공정비인적요인 교육훈련 개선방안 연구 (A Study on Improvement of Aviation Maintenance Human Factors Training for Aviation Safety Promotion)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 항공 정비사의 업무수행능력이 항공운항의 안전 및 효율에 큰 영향을 미치고 있는 추세를 반영하여 항공정비인적요인 교육훈련기준을 수립하는데 있다. 이를 위해 인적요인의 개념에 대한 선행연구들을 고찰하였으며, 국제민간항공기구(ICAO), 미연방항공청(FAA) 및 유럽항공안전청(EASA) 등의 선진해외항공국의 인적요인 교육훈련기준과 우리나라 항공안전법의 운항기술기준과 비교분석하였다. 또한 2곳의 대형항공사(FSC)와 4곳의 저비용항공사(LCC)의 인적요인 교육훈련실태를 조사하였다. 본 연구를 통해 우리나라의 인적요인 교육훈련기준이 국제기준에 비해 미약한 것으로 나타났으며, 대부분의 항공사 또한 인적요인 교육훈련을 체계적으로 실시하지 못하고 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 성과를 통해 현행 우리나라 항공정비인적요인 교육훈련기준의 문제점을 보완하고, 국제기준에 적합한 항공정비인적요인 교육과정의 표준모델을 제시할 수 있었다.

연장된 운용기간을 활용하는 그룹보전모형 (A Group Maintenance Model with Extended Operating Horizon)

  • This paper presents another maintenance policy for a group of units under finite operating horizon. A group of identical units are subject to random failures. Group maintenances are performed to all units together at specified intervals, and the failed units during operation are remained idle until the next group maintenance set-up. Unlike the traditional assumption of infinite operating horizon, we adopt the assumption of the finite operating horizon which reflect the rapid industrial advance and short life cycle of modern times. The units are under operation until the end of the operating horizon. Further, the operation of units are extended to the first group maintenance time after the end of the horizon. The total cost under the proposed maintenance policy is derived. The optimal group maintenance interval and the expected number of group maintenances during the horizon are found. It is shown that the proposed policy is better than the classical group maintenance policy in terms of total cost over the operating horizon. Numerical examples are presented for illustrations.

터널의 유지관리를 위한 전문가시스템 개발(I) : 시스템 구축 및 적용성 검토 (Development of Expert System for Maintenance of Tunnel(I))

  • The maintenance of tunnels is often neglected since tunnels has tendency to become stable with time. The determination of safety of tunnels is a complicated problem. So the role of experienced engineer in the maintenance is very important and development of an expert system which can perform as these engineers has been needed. In this study, an expert system which can determine the safety of tunnels is developed. The developed knowledge base contains the maintenance procedure which is used in KlSTEC(Korea Infrastructure Safety & Technology Corporation). Field test, laboratory test and nondestructive test methods are considered in this knowledge base. Criteria for each item and integrated diagnosis criteria are implemented in the expert system based on literatures and reports. The expert system includes basic inspection. detail inspection and precision inspection. For precision inspection. it has the capacity to exchange the result from numerical analysis by a commercial program FLAC. To verify the expert system. the proposed procedure was compared with an existing tunnel diagnosis report.

열선풍속계 보유 및 관리 실태조사와 효율적 관리방안 (Survey on Operation and Maintenance of Hot-wire Anemometers)

  • Hot-wire anemometers are most commonly used in measuring hood capture velocities due to their accuracy and convenience. But it was ques tionable whether they have an appropriate accuracy and they are well maintained. To answer these questions, as eries of survey and the performance test were performed. The average error turns out to be 16.93%. Many of them were out of order due to bad maintenance. They were not frequently calibrated even though the users of anemometers think the periodic calibration is necessary for maintaining the accuracy of anemometers. A possible efficient maintenance program was thus discussed.

  • At the Rolling-stock, most important thing is thorough maintenance for safety as a mass transit. Recently, many studies of cost down method and acquisition of high reliability have being progressed with considering of safety. Maintenance cost is closely relative to the preventive maintenance. But generally the preventive maintenance is decided in compliance with an experience. So the study of cost down method at the preventive maintenance is difficult. In this study, many results of effectiveness and optimization for the preventive maintenance are checked. Then., it is possible that efficiency preventive maintenance method will be able to suggest.

April 2011 the government, "A study on th Efficiency of Conventional Railway Infrastructure Maintenance R&D Report" progresses, conventional railway infrastructure maintenance has focused attention on the field. However, the general maintenance of railway facilities without the knowledge and safety awareness, as compared to foreign railway personnel, and productivity has pointed out the contradiction. Economy and efficiency of the railway in order to pursue a public awareness and safety and professionalism is required. In this study, the conventional railway infrastructure maintenance in accordance with Facts would like to introduce efficiency measures.
