  • The electrocaloric effect of 9/65/35 PLZT thin film fabricated by the sol-gel method, which has not been studied yet, was investigated for its structural, electrical properties as well as temperature change property. The relaxor ferroelectric property of 9/65/35 PLZT thin film was confirmed by examining its dielectric and electrical properties. The relaxor property can cause a more pronounced electrocaloric effect (ECE) in a wider temperature range than normal ferroelectric film. To avoid errors caused by using an indirect measurement method, the leakage current generated by increasing temperatures was minimized by using the optimal maximum electric field ($350kVcm^{-1}$) in the thin film. The largest temperature change ${\delta}T$ (0.23 K) and the electrocaloric strength ${\xi}$ (0.68 mkcm/kV), calculated by equations were obtained. The maximum field change ${\delta}E$ ($191kVcm^{-1}$) was in the vicinity of the curie temperature ($200^{\circ}C$).

  • As a greedy algorithm reconstructing the sparse signal from underdetermined system, orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) algorithm has received much attention. In this paper, we multiple candidate matching pursuit (MuCaMP), which builds up candidate support set in every iteration and uses the minimum residual at last iteration. Using the restricted isometry property (RIP), we derive the sufficient condition for MuCaMP to recover the sparse signal exactly. The MuCaMP guarantees to reconstruct the K-sparse signal when the sensing matrix satisfies the RIP constant ${\delta}_{N+K}<\frac{\sqrt{N}}{\sqrt{K}+3\sqrt{N}}$. In addition, we show a recovery performance both noiseless and noisy measurements.

  • As a greedy algorithm reconstructing the sparse signal from underdetermined system, orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) algorithm has received much attention in recent years. In this paper, we present an extension of OMP for pursuing efficiency of the index selection. Our approach, referred to as generalized OMP (gOMP), is literally a generalization of the OMP in the sense that multiple (N) columns are identified per step. Using the restricted isometry property (RIP), we derive the condition for gOMP to recover the sparse signal exactly. The gOMP guarantees to reconstruct sparse signal when the sensing matrix satisfies the RIP constant ${\delta}_{NK}$ < $\frac{\sqrt{N}}{\sqrt{K}+2\sqrt{N}}$. In addition, we show recovery performance and the reduced number of iteration required to recover the sparse signal.

  • In this paper we propose a new fault detection and isolation (FDI) method for those faults of parameter change type. First, we design a residual generator based on the ${\delta}$-operator model of the plant by using the stable pseudo inverse system. Second, the parameter change is estimated by using the property of the block Hankel operator. Third, reliability with respect to stability is quantified. Fourth, the limitations for the meaningful diagnosis in our method are given. The numerical examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • Two new concepts, namely, ∗-connectedness and ∗-component are introduced by using ideal in proximity spaces. A relation of ∗-connectedness with different types of connectedness that are considered in literature before is studied. It is shown that ∗-connectedness is a contractive property.

  • This paper propose about effective speech feature parameter that have robust character in effect of noise in realizing speech recognition system. Established MFCC that is the basic parameter used to ASR(Automatic Speech Recognition) and DCTCs that use DCT in basic parameter. Also, proposed delta-Cepstrum and delta-delta-Cepstrum parameter that reconstruct Cepstrum to have information for variation of speech. And compared recognition performance in using HMM. For dimension reduction of each parameter LDA algorithm apply and compared recognition. Results are presented reduced dimension delta-delta-Cepstrum parameter in using LDA recognition performance that improve more than existent parameter in noise environment of various condition.

  • Let T ${\in}$ L(X), S ${\in}$ L(Y), A ${\in}$ L(X, Y) and B ${\in}$ L(Y, X) such that SA = AT, TB = BS, AB = S and BA = T. Then S and T shares the same local spectral properties SVEP, Bishop's property (${\beta}$), property $({\beta})_{\epsilon}$, property (${\delta}$) and and subscalarity. Moreover, the operators ${\lambda}I$ - T and ${\lambda}I$ - S have many basic operator properties in common.

  • Let X = {a} ${\cup}$ {$a_{i}$ ${$\mid$}$i $\in$ N} be a subspace of Euclidean space $E^2$ such that $lim_{{i}{\longrightarrow}{$\infty}}a_{i}$ = a and $a_{i}\;{\neq}\;a_{j}$ for $i{\neq}j$. Then it is well known that the space X has no expansive homeomorphisms with the shadowing property. In this paper we show that the set of all expansive homeomorphisms with the shadowing property on the space Y is dense in the space H(Y) of all homeomorphisms on Y, where Y = {a, b} ${\cup}$ {$a_{i}{$\mid$}i{\in}Z$} is a subspace of $E^2$ such that $lim_{i}$-$\infty$ $a_{i}$ = b and $lim_{{i}{\longrightarrow}{$\infty}}a_{i}$ = a with the following properties; $a_{i}{\neq}a_{j}$ for $i{\neq}j$ and $a{\neq}b$.
