  • With the increase of tall building construction, efforts for enhancing constructability are required from the pre-construction stage. Therefore, in this study, we proposed an evaluation method of constructability performance by performing construction engineering activities at the design phase. Based on some results of previous studies, we estimated the importance of design factors and categories influencing the constructability in each engineering activity related to temporary work and then presented a method for evaluating the constructability performance of design alternatives.

개착식 전력구의 내진성능 평가 및 내진 안전성 검증 (Study on Seismic Performance Evaluation and Verification of Seismic Safety for Power Cable Tunnels)

  • 본 논문에서는 내진설계가 고려되어 있지 않은 전력구를 포함한 기설 개착식 전력구 100개소를 대상으로, 정부의 요구수준(내진 특등급, 0.22 g)을 만족하는지 확인하기 위하여 내진성능 평가를 수행하였다. 내진성능 평가 결과, 대상 전력구들은 대부분 0.3-1 g의 내진성능을 보유하고 있는 것으로 나타나, 내진 특등급 수준을 만족하였으며 내진안전성을 확보하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 응답변위법에 의한 전력구의 내진성능 평가 방법 및 결과에 대한 타당성을 확인하고, 전력구의 내진 안전성을 검증하기 위한 지진응답 해석 및 구조실험을 수행하였다. 그 결과 0.22 g 수준의 지진 하에서 응답변위법에 의한 상대변위는 지진응답 해석 결과보다 보수적이었으며, 실규모 구조실험에 의한 하중-변위 곡선 및 응답수정계수 산정 결과를 통해 전력구의 내진 안전성을 확인할 수 있었다.

외국대학 사례 조사를 통한 교수 연구업적평가 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on The Improvement for Professor Research Achievement Evaluation Applying a Case Study of Foreign Universities)

  • 연구업적평가는 계량서지학을 중심으로 활용하여 정량적인 기준을 중심으로 이루어져 왔다. 하지만 정량평가만을 활용한 평가에 여러 한계점이 드러나고 연구품질의 우수성 평가에 대한 요구가 커지며 정성적인 평가 요소의 중요성이 커지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 2010년 이후 전 세계에서 나타난 연구 평가 개선을 위한 사례를 조사하여 소개하고, 연구업적평가에 도입 가능한 정성적인 요소를 추출하기 위해 외국대학의 업적평가 사례를 조사·정리하여 국내 도입을 제안하였다. 전 세계 상위 10개 대학의 업적평가 서류, 평가 절차, 심사기준 등을 분석하여 정성적 평가 요소를 추출하였다. 결과로 본 연구는 업적평가 문서의 다각화, 다면 평가와 다단계 업적평가 과정, 다양한 질적 업적평가 기준에 대해 국내 도입을 제안한다. 전통적인 계량서지학에서 연구 평가 지표 생성 시 인용도를 측정하였다면, 미래 지표에서는 추천 점수를 지표로 반영하거나, 산업 연계성, 교육/산업에서의 활용도 등을 포함할 수 있다. 궁극적으로 본 논문을 통해 업적평가 방식이 균형을 이루고, 교수의 연구업적평가가 개인이 우수한 연구자로 성장하여 연구 환경 발전에 도움이 될 수 있는 과정으로 기능하게 되기를 희망한다.

가능최대지진(MCE)을 적용한 콘크리트 댐 피어부 내진성능평가 방안 개선 (Improvement of Seismic Performance Evaluation Method for Concrete Dam Pier by Applying Maximum Credible Earthquake(MCE))

  • 본 논문에서는 MCE를 적용한 콘크리트 댐 피어부의 동적소성해석을 통한 내진성능평가 수행 시 소성재료모델, 성능수준 평가 방법에 대한 현행 기준의 적용성을 검토하고 개선안을 제시하였다. 다양한 조건으로 동적소성해석을 수행하여 소성재료모델에 대한 적용성을 검토하였고, 그 결과 현행 댐 내진성능평가요령에서 제시하는 평균응력-평균변형률 기법은 최소철근비가 확보되지 않은 조건에서 동적탄성해석으로 예측한 결과보다 피어부의 응답을 과소평가하는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 최소철근비가 확보되지 않은 댐 피어부는 무근콘크리트로 간주하여 콘크리트 인장거동특성에 파괴에너지를 적용하는 방법으로 피어부 성능수준을 평가하도록 하는 개선안을 도출하였다. 개선사항 적용할 경우 현행 내진성능평가 방법보다 보수적인 평가결과를 도출할 수 있다.

Comparison Between DCM and Quaternion Transformation in Lever Arm Compensation of Reference System for Flight Performance Evaluation of DGPS/INS

  • The flight performance evaluation of navigation system is very significant because the reliability of navigation data directly affect the safety of aircraft. Especially, the high-level navigation system such as DGPS/INS, need more precise flight performance evaluation method. The performance analysis is evaluated by comparing between the navigation system in aircraft and reference trajectory which is more precise than navigation system in aircraft. In order to verify DGPS/INS performance of m-level, the GPS receiver, which is capable post-processed Carrier-phase Differential GPS(CDGPS) method of cm-level, have to be used as reference system. The DGPS/INS is estimated the Center of Gravity (CG) point of aircraft to offer precise performance while the reference system is output the position of GPS antenna which is mounted on the outside of aircraft. Therefore, in order to more precise performance evaluation, it needs to compensate the lever arm and coordinates transformation. This paper use quaternion and Direct Cosine Matrix(DCM) methods as coordinate transformation matrix in lever arm compensation of CDGPS reference trajectory. And it compares NED errors of DCM and quaternion transformation in lever arm of reference trajectory via DGPS/INS result.

기존 학교 건축물의 내진성능평가 및 보강방안 제안 (Proposed Seismic Performance Evaluation Enhancement for Existing School Building)

  • Recently large scale earthquake s are occurred around the world following the damage of buildings. So the interest of preparing for earthquake seismic design and seismic performance has becoming high. School buildings are though used for educational purpose; they are also used as emergency shelter for local residents during earthquake disaster. However, the current seismic design ratio of our country (Korea) is 3.7% and if massive earthquake is occurred it follows a serious damage. In order to overcome this situation, seismic performance evaluation is carried out for existing school building and an accurate and appropriate seismic retrofit is required based on performance evaluation to upgrade the existing school buildings. In this paper, nonlinear static analysis on existing school buildings for ATC-40 and FEMA-356 are carried out using the capacity spectrum method to evaluate seismic performance and to determine the need for retrofitting. In addition, after reinforcement to verify the effect of retrofit enhance the seismic performance is applied the seismic performance evaluation is carried out to verify the effect of seismic retrofit time history analysis using nonlinear dynamic analysis is also performed and nonlinear behavior of earthquake load of seismic retrofit of structures was also investigated.

High performance γ-ray imager using dual anti-mask method for the investigation of high-energy nuclear materials

  • As the γ-ray energy increases, a reconstructed image becomes noisy and blurred due to the penetration of the γ-ray through the coded mask. Therefore, the thickness of the coded mask was increased for high energy regions, resulting in severely decreased the performance of the detection efficiency due to self-collimation by the mask. In order to overcome the limitation, a modified uniformly redundant array γ-ray imaging system using dual anti-mask method was developed, and its performance was compared and evaluated in high-energy radiation region. In the dual anti-mask method, the two shadow images, including the subtraction of background events, can simultaneously contribute to the reconstructed image. Moreover, the reconstructed images using each shadow image were integrated using a hybrid update maximum likelihood expectation maximization (h-MLEM). Using the quantitative evaluation method, the performance of the dual anti-mask method was compared with the previously developed collimation methods. As the shadow image which was subtracted the background events leads to a higher-quality reconstructed image, the reconstructed image of the dual anti-mask method showed high performance among the three collimation methods. Finally, the quantitative evaluation method proves that the performance of the dual anti-mask method was better than that of the previously reconstruction methods.

다양한 형상의 동일 기종 항공기에 대한 성능개량 최적 구현 방안 연구 (The Study of Optimal Performance Improvement Method for Aircraft of Various Variants within the Same Type)

  • In this paper, we studied the optimal method of improving performance for aircraft having various variants within the same type. The study defined configuration of an entire fleet of aircraft being subject to a performance improvement program. And selected the most complicated aircraft configuration among them as a Standard Aircraft for modification by according to the proposed Aircraft Selection Process for developing an optimal Aircraft Performance Improvement Process. Based on the selected the Standard Aircraft, drew a system integration design result and carried out Evaluation Test and obtained Airworthiness Certification. Created the database with the design data of the Standard Aircraft, Evaluation Test, and Airworthiness Certification results, and applied it to variants of aircraft to complete the performance improvement program with optimized schedules and costs. By applying the proposed method to IFF performance improvement program, drew optimal system integration design and completed the program with minimized schedule.
