This paper presents a new Perfect Tracking Control (PTC) scheme for linear systems with state constraint. The proposed controller increases the number of the steps on-line for perfect tracking to satisfy the given ellipsoid-type state constraint. The unavoidable step delay that we impose is minimized by solving LMI feasibility problems and the possible feedback information loss is avoided. The proposed schemes are easy to develop, theoretically simple and clear, and include the conventional PTC as its special case.

This paper concerns an adaptive control scheme which is an extension of the simplified adaptive control. Originally, the SAC approach was developed based on the command generator tracker (CGT) theory for perfect model tracking. An attractive point of the SAC is that a control input can be synthesized without any prior knowledge about plant structure. However, a feedforward dynamic compensator of the CGT is removed from the basic structure of the SAC. This deletion of the compensator makes perfect model tracking difficult against even a step input. In this paper, an adaptive control system is redesigned to achieve perfect model tracking for as long as possible by reviving the dynamic compensator of the CGT. The proposed method is applied to slewing control of a flexible space structure and compared to the SAC responses.
This paper presents to study the path tracking method of AGV(autonomous guided vehicle) which has a laser guidance system. An existing automatic guided vehicles(AGVs) which were able to drive on wired line only had a automatic guidance system. However, the automatic guidance systems that those used had the high cost of installation and maintenance, and the difficulty of system change according to variation of working environment. To solve such problems, we make the laser guidance system which is consisted of a laser navigation and gyro, encoder. That is robust against noise, and flexible according to working environment through sensor fusion. The laser guidance system can do a perfect autonomous driving. However, the commercialization of perfect autonomous driving system is difficult, because the perfect autonomous driving system must recognize the whole environment of working space. Hence, this paper studied the path tracking of AGV using laser guidance system without wired line. The path tracking method is consisted of virtual path generation method and driving control method. To experiment, we use the fork-type AGV which is made by ourselves, and do a path tracking experiments repeatedly on same experimental environment. In result, we verified that proposed system is efficient and stable for actual fork-type AGV.
In this paper, a Direct Learning Control (DLC) method is proposed for linear feedback systems to improve the tracking performance when the task of the control system is repetitive. DLC can generate the desired control input directly from the previously learned control inputs corresponding to other output trajectories. It is assumed that all the desired output functions given to the system have some relations called proportionality and it is shown by mathematical analysis that DLC can be utilized to genera additional control efforts for the perfect tracking. To show the validity and tracking performance of the proposed method, some simulations are performed for the tracking control of a linear system with a PI controller.

The switched reluctance motor(SRM) has been increasingly used in high-performance servo applications such as electric vehicles, aircraft, and direct-drive robots. The dynamic equations of SRMs are, however, highly nonlinear and this makes it difficult to control SRMs with high performance. In this paper, we propose a new robust current tracking controller for SAMs which can compensate the nonlinear characteristics of SRM(i.e., back-emf and inductance) completely and hence shows perfect tracking performance even with an arbitrary small current control loop gain. Furthermore, even in case that there exist some model uncertainties, our current controller guarantees that the stator currents can track the reference current commands with sufficiently small tracking errors. In order to justify our work, we present the tracking performance analysis and some simulation results.

Solar cell has an optimum operating point to extract maximum power. To control operating point of the solar cell, a fuzzy controller has already been proposed by our research group. However, several parameters are determined by trial and error. To overcome this problem, this paper adopts Fuzzy Neural Network (FNN) for maximum power point tracking control for photovoltaic array. The FNN can be trained to perfect fuzzy rules and to find an optimum membership functions on-line.
This study is a step in developing the sliding mode control methodology for the robust control of a class of nonlinear time-varying systems. The methodology uses in its idealized form piecewise continuous feedback control, resulting in the state trajectory "sliding" slong a time-varying sliding surface in the state space. This idealized control law achieves perfect tracking. The method is applied to the control of a two-link manipulator handling variable loads in a flexible manufacturing system environment with noise. The result through simulation is that the tracking problem of articular robot with high precision can be realized by using the variable structure system (VSS) theory. The motions of articular robot were insensitive to various payloads. payloads.
In this study, the basic motor control system had been investigated. The controller for this study consists of two main parts, a feedforward controller part and a feedback controller part. Each part will deals with different control problems. The feedback controller deals with robustness and stability, while the feedforward controller deals with response speed. The feedforward controller, used to solve the tracking control problem, is adaptable. To make such a tracking perfect, an adaptive law based on Feedback Error Learning (FEL) is designed so that the feedforward controller becomes an inverse system of the controlled plant. The novelty of FEL method lies in its use of feedback error as a teaching signal for learning the inverse model. The theory in $H^{\infty}$-Control is selected to be applied in the feedback part to guarantee the stability and solve the robust stabilization problems. The simulation of each individual part and the integrated one are taken to clarify the study.
In this study, the basic motor control system had been investigated. The Discrete-Time Feedback Error Learning (DTFEL) method is used to control this system. This method is anologous to the original continuous-time version Feedback Error Learning(FEL) control which is proposed as a control model of cerebellum in the field of computational neuroscience. The DTFEL controller consists of two main parts, a feedforward controller part and a feedback controller part. Each part will deals with different control problems. The feedback controller deals with robustness and stability, while the feedforward controller deals with response speed.
