The relationships of parenting beliefs, parental satisfaction, and child rearing stress were examined in a sample 400 parents who have 3-7 aged children. Parents completed three kinds of questionnaires such as parenting beliefs scale, parental satisfaction scale, and child rearing stress scale. Data analysis was by mean, percentile, t-test, oneway-ANOVA, pearson correlation, and multiple regression. The major findings of this study were as follow; First there was a significant difference between parenting beliefs and child rearing stress. Second, there was a significant difference between parental satisfaction and child rearing stress. Third, conflict of parental role in parental satisfaction and problem solving in parent beliefs was the most predicting variables in child rearing stress.

본 연구는 어머니의 양육 스트레스와 부모역할 만족도를 통해 어머니 양육자 내면의 모습을 살펴봄으로서 양육자로서의 역할을 수행하는데 있어서 어머니의 양육 스트레스를 대처할 수 있는 대안과 부모역할의 만족감을 높이며 자녀 양육의 질을 향상시키기 위한 사회적 지지의 필요성을 강조하기 위해 연구하고자 한다. 본 연구는 서울, 경기지역의 4세-7세 학령전기 아동을 둔 부모 312명을 대상으로 2018년 10월 1일부터 10월 15일까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 자료를 분석하기 위하여 SPSS 22.0과 AMOS 22.0을 사용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관관계 분석, 구조방정식모형, Sobel-test를 실시하였다. 연구결과 어머니의 양육 스트레스는 사회적 지지와 부모역할 만족도에 대해 각 변인 간 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 사회적 지지와 높은 부적 상관이 있음을 나타났다. 어머니의 양육 스트레스는 사회적 지지와 부모역할 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 사회적 지지는 부모역할 만족도에도 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 어머니의 양육 스트레스와 부모역할 만족도의 관계에서 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 통해 모의 양육 스트레스가 부모 역할 만족도에 미치는 부정적인 영향을 감소시키기 위해서는 모에게 연결되어 있는 사회적 관계망으로부터 적절한 지지와 실제적인 도움 및 어려움에 대한 호소를 이해하고 격려가 이루어질 것을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between children's roles, parental attachment, teacher's concerns and school adjustment among Children's Alcoholics(COAs). Participants were 2,803 middle and high school students in Seoul. The regression analysis results showed that hero role was positively associated with school bonding and academic performance but increased the level of anxiety/depression. Meanwhile, scapegoat and lost children's roles were negatively associated with school bonding and also increased the level of anxiety/depression. Mascot role were positively associated with school bonding and academic performance but had no relation with anxiety/depression. Regarding moderating effects, maternal attachment moderated the relationship between scapegoat role and school bonding while teacher's concerns moderated the relationship between hero role and anxiety/depression, and the relationship between scapegoat role and anxiety/depression. These findings suggested that practitioners need to consider the contributions of children's roles on school adjustment and moderating effects of maternal attachment or teacher's concerns when intervention programs are developed to improve school adjustment among COAs.

Objective: The aims of this study is to investigate the internal and external environment surrounding fathers and to promote play-participation with children and father-Infants Intimacy by identifying the influence of a father's belief concerning gender-equal parental role and the mother's roles as a gatekeeper. Methods: The participants of this study were 291 fathers who had infants ranging from 1-36 months of age and were living in Seoul and South Chungcheong Province. The data were collected through the questionnaires and analyzed using the SPSS 24.0. Results: The main results are as follows. First, gender roles, livelihood keeper-father beliefs, importance of father rearing, and the mother's role as a doorkeeper affect the father's participation in play. This differs according to the characteristics of each type of play. Second, it was found that the father's gender roles and the mother's role as a doorkeeper had a significant effect on the intimacy between the father and the infant. Conclusion/Implications: The results of this study revealed that fathers' belief in gender-equal parenting and mothers' encouragement through opening the door as gatekeepers affect the formation of intimacy between fathers and their children in infancy, and are factors that influence play participation.

본 연구의 목적은 선행연구들을 통해 양육행동을 잘 설명하는 것으로 밝혀진 주요한 변인들 외에 부모통찰의 영향을 검증함으로써 양육행동과 부모통찰과의 관계를 실증적으로 탐색하는 것이었다. 이를 위해 양육행동을 설명하는 변인으로 부모통찰 외에 과거 아동기 경험(지각된 부모양육행동, 원가족 건강성), 현재 삶에서의 양육 관련 경험(결혼만족도, 부모 역할만족도)의 영향력을 함께 살펴보았다. 중학생 자녀를 둔 어머니 202명을 대상으로 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 검증한 결과, 투입된 변인들 모두 양육행동을 유의하게 설명하는 것으로 확인되었다. 특히 부모통찰은 양육행동 하위요인들 중 과보호를 제외한 애정, 거부 통제, 독립성 지향 행동에 유의한 설명력이 있는 것으로 검증되었다. 끝으로 본 연구의 시사점과 앞으로의 연구방향에 대해 논의하였다.

본 연구는 육아예능 프로그램시청이 시청자의 결혼과 가족에 대한 인식에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 실증적으로 살펴보았다. 구체적으로 <슈퍼맨이 돌아왔다> 시청이 결혼에 대한 기대감(로맨스 기대감, 배우자 기대감), 부모역할 공평성 가치관, 아버지 양육수행 유능감에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 알아보며, 동일화갈망의 매개효과도 검증하고자 하였다. 대학생 407명을 대상으로 설문조사한 결과, <슈퍼맨이 돌아왔다> 시청은 로맨스 기대감과 배우자 기대감 모두에 유의미한 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 동일화갈망을 통해 간접적으로도 정적인 영향을 미쳤다. <슈퍼맨이 돌아왔다> 시청은 부모역할 공평성 가치관에는 직접적인 영향을 미치지 못하지만, 동일화갈망을 통해 간접적인 영향을 미쳤다. 반면, 아버지양육수행 유능감에는 직접적인 영향만을 주었다.

Purpose: This study examined the awareness and attitudes of parents of 5th and 6th graders toward own children smoking. Method: The participants were 766 parents of 5th and 6th graders in 11 elementary schools located in J city. Data were collected through questionnaires, which were constructed to include parents' recognition of harms to their own children cause by smoking, factors which influence their children to smoke, and parental supportive strategies to prevent smoking. Result: The percentage of parents who answered that they did not know if their children were smoking was 94.8%, while the percentage of parents who answered that they knew that their children were smoking was 3.5%. Only 30% of parents had actually spoken with their children about the dangers of smoking. The mean parental recognition of the dangers of smoking was 3.16 points. Parental strategy for preventing and prohibiting smoking with the higher mean scores included forbidding children from entering bars and nightclubs which had the highest scores at 3.55 points; forbidding the sale of cigarettes to children was next at 3.54 points. Conclusion: To prevent children from smoking, the role and attitude of parents is crucial. But the study results show that the role of parental guidance in preventing underage smoking was insufficient and under appreciated. Therefore, more systematic educational programs on preventing underage smoking are essential for parents.

The purpose of this study was to examine the role of parental support in mitigating the impact of discrimination experiences on depression among children and adolescents. This focus was based on the premise that experiences of discrimination can negatively affect peer relationships as well as behavioral and emotional development in youths who spend a significant amount of time with their peers at school. We aimed to explore the mediating role of parental support and to present policy and practical recommendations from a social welfare perspective. For this purpose, data from the "2020 Survey on the Human Rights of Children and Adolescents" was utilized, involving 9,000 students ranging from 4th to 6th grade in elementary school, grade in middle school, and grade in high school from across the country. The study was conducted targeting these groups. For research analysis, frequency analysis using SPSS 26.0 was employed to calculate the general characteristics of the study subjects and the reliability coefficient of the testing tool. And regression analysis was conducted to verify the mediating effect of parental support on the impact of discrimination experiences on depression. The analysis revealed that there were 4,473 males (51.9%) and 4,150 females (48.1%), and that experiences of discrimination had a negative effect on depression (B=311, P<0.001). It was found that the more frequent the experiences of discrimination, the higher the level of depression, and the more a youth experienced discrimination, the greater the psychological depression they endured.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how a sense of community, community provisions, and acculturation attitudes towards Korean and American cultures are related to Korean immigrant parents' parental satisfaction. 477 surveys, consisting of 291 females and 186 males, were analyzed using structural equation modeling. Results showed that a sense of community directly influenced acculturation attitudes toward American culture and parental satisfaction. Acculturation attitudes toward American culture also directly influenced parental satisfaction. A sense of community had significant indirect effects on parental satisfaction. These results imply that a sense of community within a larger community plays an important role in Korean immigrant parents' acquisition of identities as members of a new country. Building a sense of community is also important for them to experience less acculturation stress and become more satisfied with their parenting while adjusting to a new culture. Implications for practice and research are discussed.

본 연구는 초등학생(4~6학년)을 대상으로 부모의 태도와 인권의식, 자아존중감과의 관계를 토대로 자녀의 의사결정을 존중하는 부모의 태도가 인권의식에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 자아존중감이 부모의 태도와 인권의식 관계를 매개하는지 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구결과 자녀의 의사결정을 존중하는 부모태도와 인권의식, 자아존중감의 관계에서 모두 정적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 자녀의 의사결정을 존중하는 부모태도와 인권의식 관계에서 자아존중감이 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구에서는 자녀의 의사결정을 존중하는 부모의 양육태도나 인권의식의 관계를 자아존중감을 통해 구체적으로 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 통해 아동의 기본 권리에 자녀의 의사결정과 참여를 존중하는 부모의 역할이 필요하며, 인권의식을 높이는데 자아존중감의 매개적 역할의 중요성을 시사하고 있다.
