본 논문은 다중 사용자 MIMO 시스템에서 사용자 선택을 위해 필요한 precoding matrix index (PMI)/channel quality indication (CQI)의 보고 방식에 따른 성능을 분석한다. 이러한 분석을 통해 셀 내의 단말의 수, 선택되는 사용자의 수, 그리고 코드북(codebook)의 크기가 Best Companion Grouping (BCG)방식 스케쥴링의 성능에 복잡하게 영향을 미치는 것을 확인한다. 이에 따라 셀 내의 사용자 수와 코드북의 크기에 따라 동시에 스케쥴링 되는 사용자들의 그룹이 형성될 수 있는 확률이 달라지는 것을 확인할 수 있으며, 피드백 오버헤드가 주어졌을 때 이에 따라 피드백하는 PMI의 수와 사용하는 코드북의 크기를 적응적으로 선택함으로써 시스템의 평균 수율 성능을 최적화할 수 있음을 보였다.

This paper represents the numerical analysis in unsteady state on the variation of diameter and environmental velocity of carbon heating source. In general heating system, the oil and sheath heater is widely used, but these systems have many problems. So, the heating source with carbon ingredient has been researched in many country about manufacture, thermal and electrical properties. In this research, the carbon heating source was studied through numerical analysis on several conditions of unsteady state, heat generation, diameter and environmental velocity. The temperature distributions at steady state are appeared as a non-proportional linear pattern with variations of environmental velocity due to the Nesselt number with convective heat flux is proportioned to 0.805 of Reynolds number. As the radius is increasing, the temperature distributions is appeared the minus tilt because of the environmental condition is cooling by constant temperature. So, the correlation equation between temperature at steady state and environmental velocity was obtained.

This study was conducted to examine the effect of HACCP implementation on the cost of medicine use, antibiotic utilization, and productivity of swine in Korea. Data were collected from forty-five swine farms before and after implementation of a HACCP system. The cost of medicine used, the number of different antibiotics used and the number of feeds containing antibiotic supplements added at the feed company tended to be lower (p>0.05) after HACCP implementation. Additionally, the number of feeds containing antibiotics supplemented at the farm was significantly lower after HACCP implementation (p<0.05). Moreover, the number of piglets born per sow per year and pigs marketed per sow per year were higher after HACCP implementation (22.0, 20.0) than before HACCP implementation (20.4, 18.9). These results suggest that implementation of HACCP systems on swine farms may provide beneficial effects such as reduction of medical expenses and improved productivity, as well as increased safety of livestock products for consumers.

In this study, according to the staking method of the fire hose in the indoor hydrant system, the number of kinks when the fire hose is deployed was measured and analyzed to examine how the staking method of the fire hose affects the kink when the hose is deployed. The fire hose staking method was classified into three types: donut-type, accordion-type, and hose hanger-type, and the walking speed and number of kinks were measured by repeating the experiment 5 times for male and female students. The results of the study are as follows. (1) Among the three types of fire hose staking methods, the donut-type staking method had an average of 92 times for male students and 86 times for female students on average. (2) The accordion-type and hose hanger-type staking methods showed similar results with an average of one or two kinks for both male and female students. (3) Regardless of the staking method, it was found that in general, male students with high walking speed had more kinking than female students with slow walking speed.

Objective : This study aimed to report the improvement of a patient with anorexia by treatment with Jinmu-tang (Hyunmu-tang) based on the disease pattern identification diagnostic system (DPIDS) of the Shanghanlun provisions. Methods : We evaluated the progress of symptoms, patient compliance, and presence of side effects after the patient was administered Jinmu-tang. The clinical response was estimated according to the number of meals a day, the size of meals, the number of complaints of abdominal pain in a week, and a Likert scale. Results : According to the DPIDS, the patient was diagnosed according to provision 316 with soyinbing. After administration of Jinmu-tang for 45 days, the number of meals a day and the size of meals increased, the number of complaints of abdominal pain in a week decreased, and the Likert scale score decreased from 3 to 0. Conclusions : This case report suggests that the word "腹痛" (abdominal pain) in the 316th Shanghanlun provision indicates anxiety about abdominal pain, which affected anorexia in this case.

최근 모바일 디바이스와 휴대기기의 발달로 원격접속이 늘어남에 따라 보안의 중요성도 점차 증가되었다. 그러나 기존 패스워드나 패턴과 같은 보안 프로그램은 지나치게 단순할 뿐 아니라 다른 사용자가 쉽게 취득하여 악용할 수 있다는 단점이 있다. 생체인식을 활용한 보안 시스템은 보안성이 강화 되었지만 위조 및 변조가 가능하기 때문에 완전한 해결책을 제시하지 못한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 지문인식과 패스워드를 결합하여 보안성을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 연구하였다. 제안한 시스템은 하나의 지문이 아니라 다수의 지문을 이용하는 방법으로, 사용자가 패스워드를 입력할 때 여러 지문 중에서 정확한 지문의 순서를 제공하도록 한다. 오늘날 스마트폰은 패스워드나 패턴, 지문을 이용할 수 있지만 패스워드의 강도가 낮거나 패턴이 쉽게 노출되는 등의 문제가 있다. 반면에 제안한 시스템은 다양한 지문의 이용과 패스워드의 연계, 또는 다른 생체인식 시스템과 연결함으로써 매우 강력한 보안장치가 될 수 있다.

Global carry propagation이 없는 redundant signed number에 의한 CORDIC 회로를 제안하였다. 이 number format은 Booth recording과 유사한 새로운 receding scheme을 가지고 가감산에서 carry 전파의 문제를 효과적으로 해결하였다. 여기서는 상수 scale factor를 갖고 삼각함수 계산을 하는 pipeline구조를 채택하였다. 이 CORDIC 회로의 동작시간은 채택한 operand bit에 상관없이 일정하다.

We analyzed the effect of 6-month lagged number portability policy and introduction of common number among carriers on Korean mobile market. Our result shows that the policy change contributed to both the increase in number of mobile subscribers and decrease in dominant carrier's market share. We found that unified prefix among mobile operators is more effective than the lagged number portability policy. The carriers' profit, however, decreased a lot due to excessive marketing expenditure. We also estimated market shares of carriers up to year 2005 when full number portability policy is adopted. The results show that dominant carrier's monopolistic power will be recovered by the end of 2005 implying government's number policy itself cannot guarantee the effective competition in Korean mobile market.

In this paper, using three types of conjugations in a bicomplex number filed $\mathcal{T}$, we provide some basic definitions of bicomplex number and definitions of regular functions for each differential operators. And we investigate the corresponding Cauchy-Riemann systems and the corresponding Cauchy theorems in $\mathcal{T}$ in Clifford analysis.

There are two uses of zero which are both important but are different. One use of zero is as a number itself. The number zero is an abstract concept measuring the size of set with no elements in it. The second use of it is as an empty place indicator in our place-value number system. It is the notation. In this paper, we study a history of zero and the mistakes from a few earlier works in connection with some arithmetical operations involving the number zero.
