Surface modification before coating nickel by coupling agents and/or etchant of glass did not provide enough adhesive strength of electroless nickel deposits on glass. Effect of heat treatments on hardness as well as adhesion of nickel deposits was studied by using tape test for adhesion, nanoindenter for hardness and glancing angle x-ray diffractometer (GAXRD) for phase characterization. Heat treatment improved hardness as well as adhesion. XRD results give that the improvements of adhesion and hardness are due to the formation of $NiSiO_4$ around the interface between the nickel deposits and the glass and the precipitation of $Ni_3P$ causing precipitation hardening, respectively. The details in effects of heat treatment on adhesion and hardness are described here.

In this work, we investigated the characteristics and the effects of light on the negative gate bias stress stability (NBS) in high mobility polycrystalline IGO TFTs. IGO TFT showed a high drain current on/off ratio of ${\sim}10^9$, a field-effect mobility of $114cm^2/Vs$, a threshold voltage of -4V, and a subthresholdslpe(SS) of 0.28V/decade from log($I_{DS}$) vs $V_{GS}$. IGO TFTs showed large negative $V_{TH}$ shift(17V) at light power of $5mW/cm^2$ with negative gate bias stress of -10V for 10000seconds, at a fixed drain voltage ($V_{DS}$) of 0.5V.
In this study, a double-solvent radiation method is proposed to prepare silver nanoparticles in the pores of metal-organic framework MIL-101(Cr). The results reveal that well-dispersed silver nanoparticles with a diameter of about 2 nm were successfully fabricated in the cages of monodisperse octahedral MIL-101(Cr) with a particle size of about 400 nm. The structure of MIL-101(Cr) was not destroyed during the chemical treatment and irradiation. The resulting Ag/MIL-101 exhibits excellent catalytic performance for the reduction of 4-nitrophenol. This method can be extended to prepare other single or bimetallic components inside porous materials.
Sulfated $TiO_2$ nanoparticles were successfully immobilized on zeolite through improving hydrolysis-deposition method. Microstructure, crystallization, surface state and surface area of composite catalysts were characterized by SEM, XRD, FTIR spectra, XPS and BET and the photocatalytic activity was evaluated by degradation of methyl orange under UV irradiation. We optimized these factors ($SO^{2-}_4$ ions, calcination temperature and loading amount of sulfated $TiO_2$) on photocatalytic activity and crystallization of composite photocatalysts. The results indicated that the $SO^{2-}_4$ ions are successfully immobilized on the surface of $TiO_2$, and sulfated $TiO_2$/zeolite show the highest photocatalytic activity for methyl orange at the $[SO^{2-}_4 ]/[Ti^{4+}]$ molar rate of 1:1, calcination temperature of $600^{\circ}C$ for 2 h, and sulfated $TiO_2$ loading amount of 40%, respectively.

Six basic symmetries and five Bravais lattices existing in the two-dimensional lattice are derived and then ten two-dimensional point groups are classified by each of five Bravais lattices. Finally seventeen two-dimensional space groups belonging to the ten point groups are studied.
In this study, we had tried to present a plan for improving the actual conditions of practical utilization of teaching material for 6th grade science developed by Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development and distributed to all elementary schools in Korea. Also we presented ways of better utilization of the teaching material after investigating the actual conditions of practical utilization. A survey was made to investigate and collect all data in the major metropolitan cities, the Kangwon, Chungcheong, Honam, and Kyeongsang area, respectively. We surveyed 316 6th grader teachers to investigate the actual conditions of distribution and utilization of teaching material as a general research. In addition, we surveyed 46 teachers to investigate the organization and content of teaching material as a particular research. The results are as follows. First, the teaching material was not approximately transmitted and kept to 6th grader teachers. Second, the utilization guide was not made. Third, it was reported that the thematic divisions of teaching material was a strong point, but the less detailed experiment manual was a weak point. Fourth, the consideration of content difficulties and simplicity was necessary to improve the material. Fifth, additional items should be included in the introductory presentation, convenience of reorganization, activity material causing learning interest, guidance of substitution experiment, and more concrete notice of experiment activity. Finally, there were positive responses of more than 4.0 point of Likert scale (1 to 5 point scale) in detail investigations of thematic items, which could have possibility that the teaching material was helpful to elementary school science field.
Advanced tactile sensors are receiving significant attention in various industries such as extended reality, electronic skin, organic user interfaces, and robotics. The capabilities of advanced tactile sensors require a variety of functions, including position sensing, pressure sensing, and material recognition. Moreover, they should comsume less power and be bio-friendly with human contact. Recently, a tactile sensor based on the triboelectrification effect was developed. Triboelectric tactile sensors have the advantages of wide material availability, simple structure, and low manufacturing cost. Because they generate electricity by contact, they have low power consumption compared to conventional tactile sensors such as capacitive and piezoresistive. Furthermore, they have the ability to recognize the contact material as well as execute position and pressure sensing functions using the triboelectrification effect. The aim of this study is to introduce the progress of research on triboelectrification-based tactile sensors with various functions such as position sensing, pressure sensing and contact material recognition.
We have classified a number of aqueous ternary systems containing two different polymers into three types by focusing on the deviation of the Huggins constant k'from the additivity line. Systems of type I have negative deviations of k'; the repulsive interaction between the two different polymers dominates. In systems of type II, k' almost follows the additivity relation; the repulsive and attractive interactions between the two different polymers are balancing. Type III systems have positive deviations of k'; the attractive interactions are relatively dominant. This classification of systems is supported by the fact that the positive and negative deviations of k' from the additivity line also correspond to the sign of interaction parameter between polymer 2 and 3, Δb$\_$23/. Furthermore, we have verified the relatively high compatibility between dextran and poly(vinyl alcohol) by determining the binodal concentration of a liquid-liquid phase separation for a water/dextran/poly(vinyl alcohol) system, which is classified as type III. Thus, we found that the compositional dependence of k' closely relates to the compatibility of binary polymer mixtures in aqueous ternary systems.
