Investments into existing cultural facilities are determined based on administrative district-based indices like population and area. Such macro judgment indices, however, fail to consider accessibility of cultural facilities from neighboring administrative districts and thus create problems including wasted budgets and duplicated investments. More recently, the government has made it a goal to increase the level of citizen awareness of these facilities, but achieving this requires the integration of neighboring administrative districts such that characteristics including transportation network and buildings are reflected in a comprehensive manner. This research therefore looks into Urban Network Analysis (UNA) as a means to investigate accessibility of cultural facilities. Use of UNA will make it possible to analyze the transportation network as well as building distribution, explained by building density, settled population, and other important building factors, in tandem, leading to the concentration of cultural facilities and the surrounding economic district being more properly reflected, and thus allowing for greater explanatory power in determining the level of accessibility. To test this, four target research districts were chosen from within the Gyeonggi Province and analyzed in terms of the accessibility of their everyday cultural facilities. Of the four districts of Gunpo, Anyang, Uiwang, and Gwacheon, accessibility of the first two districts, was found to be high, while accessibility was found to be relatively low for the latter two districts. This finding indicates that cultural facilities investments should be concentrated in the districts of Gunpo and Anyang.
This study was carried out in order to understand the plan, design, constructing and actual condition of management of modernized horticultural facilities in Kyungpook Province which had been constructed from 1992 to 1995 funded by Government support. The aim of this study is to provide reference data for success of the forth project. It was performed by making up a question about driving of project and management condition of equipment after constructing. The results obtained from this study are as follows: 1. 73.5% of facilities horticulture farmhouse recognized that the prospect of greenhouse is bright, but 92.5% of the farmhouse also recognised that they need technical consultation on protected horticulture farming. Therefore, technical educations would must be enhanced about foundation of greenhouse and cultivation technique. 2. The holding times of explanatory meetings, cause of understanding to farmhouse, were one or two times in greenhouse construction, and 62.5% of the farmhouse expressed the insufficiency at the explanation and educational data. For this reason, it was judged that the construction contract had been delayed more than 5 months in 49.3% of the farmhouse after the decision of project budget. 3. In constructing after a contract, the rates of construction delay is 53.4% and defect occurrence is 41.1%. The biggest reasons of construction delay was insufficiency of worker and materials supply. Each percentage is 29.1%. And the reason of defect occurrence is badness of machinery equipment(62.9% ). 4. In management of greenhouse, a pipe-constructed plastic film greenhouse changes plastic film every one and three years because of sticking dust on plastic film. It was needed to about in cleaning technique of coverings. Because that used 3-5 years only half of the expected life span. 5. The order of broken rating in the subsidiary equipment is like this lollop ventilator (42.8%), a general control system(33.3%) especially, in the case of a general control system, the rate of all family can control is 52.7%. so, it is time to develop easy control equipment which every one could use as soon as possible. 6. When choose heat generator as decide capacity, the most priority is the mount of heat generator the percent is 45.5% heat generator and as decide model, the private purchase's percent is 77.3%. It is higher than a public bidding heat generator the percent is 22.7% heat generator when it compare with a public bidding. In the case of $CO_2$ generator, using rate is only 19.0%. The using rate is very low, so it needs education how to use depends on the way of the subsidiary equipment. 7. In the case of seedlings, it is asked to use factory-processed seedling effectively. because it's difficult to get security of labors(58.8%), hoped crops (55.9%) access same crops(29.4%) much more and changing of crops depends on market situation. that is the main reason the lack of knowhow.

Biogasification is a technology that uses organic wastes to reproduce as environmental fuels containing methane gas. Biogasification has attracted worldwide attention because it can produce renewable-energy and stable land treatment with prohibit from landfilling and ocean dumping of organic waste. Biomethane is produced by refining biogas. It is injected into natural gas pipeline or used transportation fuel such as cars and buses. 90 bio-gasification facilities are operating in 2016, and methane gas production is very low due to it is limited to organic wastes such as food waste, animal manure, and sewage sludge. There are seven domestic biomethane manufacturing facilities, and the use of high value-added such as transport fuels and city-gas through upgrading biogas should be expanded. On the other hand, the rapid biogasification of organic wastes in domestic resulted in frequent breakdowns of facilities and low efficiency problems. Therefore, the problem is improving as technical guidance, design and operational technical guidance is developed and field experience is accumulated. However, while improvements in biogas production are being made, there is a problem with low utilization. In this study, the problems of biomethane manufacturing facilities were identified in order to optimize the production and utilization of biogas from organic waste resources. Also, in order to present the design and operation guideline of the gas pretreatment and the upgrading process, we will investigate precision monitoring, energy balance and economic analysis and solutions for on-site problems by facility.

Nursing Homes are different from other medical facilities, because they have a living space. And most of residents in a nursing home have dementia, therefore nursing homes are in control of outdoor activities for resident's safety and most of residents live in the living room at the daytime. The purpose of this study is analysis of spacial behaviors of residents in the living room, and reflection of the analysis into the architectural plan of nursing homes. There are two activities, individual activity and social interchange activity, in a living room and the role of a living room is semi-private space that includes both of them. Most numerous activities are watching TV and take a eat. Activities are different in accordance with the position at the living room. Individual activity and social interchange activity is same ratio in the middle and the ratio of social interchange activities are more than individuals in outside of living room. but alcove use of private. The types of living rooms are distinguished by combination of functions of livingroom, activity-room, and diningroom. The activity of use of residents have been shown different phases following the types of livingroom. The type of combination has been seen high rate of use and private activities and social communications are expressed evenly. The type of mixing has been seen low rae of use, but two activities, the above, are equal. The type of separation has been seen not only low rate of use, but also there has been only private activities.

Recently, due to the child-friendly city project being conducted by UNICEF, the movement to create a child-friendly cities has been actively promoted by the South Korean government. However, due to the lack of specific physical plans to improve the basic rights of children in the city, the project has been mainly implemented for educational and institutional projects. In this study, we investigated the activities of children and parents living in elementary school neighborhoods. Based on our investigation, we attempted to generate the desired results that can be referred to by physical planners looking to make changes to school neighborhoods by comparing and analyzing children and parents' activity range and life patterns in the neighborhood. The GPS and traffic log surveys were conducted as the primary research methods. The results of this study are as follows: First, both children and parents are most likely to walk in their neighborhoods. In addition, the use of private cars and school vehicles was high, but the use of public transportation was low. Second, the longer parents and children stayed together, the wider the range of their activities. Third, children who spent a lot of time with parents were more likely to have diverse life patterns than children who did not spend a lot of time with parents. Fourth, parents who live in elementary school neighborhoods frequently used commercial facilities and cultural centers around the school. Therefore, it is important to construct facilities around the school for parent-use.
Uiwang ICD, which is the only inland container depot in the capital area, is equipped with modern facilities, and loading and unloading equipment, and can handle 1,000,000 TEU annually. It has many advantages such as advantageous conditions of location, the role of foothold for distribution transportation in the capital area, so it plays an important role of vitalizing the railroad transport. However, Uiwang ICD has reached the limit in the vitalization of railroad transport of containerized cargo due to the current problems in facilities and operations. This research analyzed the Uiwang ICD's problems by dividing them into facilities problems and operational problems, and presented short-term and medium and long-term improvement measures with the year 2023 when the private use permission expires as the basic year. However, the vitalization of railroad transport of Uiwang ICD can be attained only when it has support and cooperation from the government, Uiwang-si, Korea Rail Network Authority, and other related organizations together with efforts of Korea Railroad Corporation, and occupant companies. Such improvement measures for Uiwang ICD are expected to contribute to establishing combined transport system and forming efficient railroad distribution infrastructures and vitalizing railroad distribution, and also contribute to the government's low-carbon green growth policy by building environment-friendly transport system.

Background: This study aims to develop an evaluator that can quickly and accurately evaluate the shielding of low-energy industrial radiation generators. Methods: We used PyQt to develop a graphical user interface (GUI)-based program and employed the calculation methodology reported in the National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements (NCRP)-49 for shielding calculations. We gathered the necessary factors for shielding evaluation using two libraries designed for Python, pandas and NumPy, and processed them into a database. We verified the effectiveness of the proposed program by comparing the results with those from safety reports of six domestic facilities. Results: After verifying the effectiveness of the program using the NCRP-49 example, we obtained an average error rate of 1.73%. When comparing the facility safety report and results obtained using the program, we found that the error rate was between 1.09% and 6.51%. However, facilities that did not use a defined shielding methodology were underestimated by 31.82% compared with the program (the final barrier thickness satisfied the shielding standard). Conclusion: The developed program provides a fast and accurate shielding evaluation that can assist personnel that work in radiation generator facilities and government officials in reviewing safety.
To use pressurized facilities safely and effectively, a likelihood of failure (LOF) for the brittle fracture was analyzed quantitatively through the risk based inspection using API-581 BRD. We found that for the case of the low temperature/low toughness and the temper embrittlement, the technical module subfactor (TMSF) showed high value for the A impact curve, low temperature, and the no post weld heat treatment. But the risk didn't significantly change at the $855^{\circ}F$ embrittlement, and the LOF far the sigma phase embrittlement showed high value at low temperature of the high sigma.
