  • General (${\alpha},{\beta}$)-metrics form a rich class of Finsler metrics. They include many important Finsler metrics, such as Randers metrics, square metrics and spherically symmetric metrics. In this paper, we find equations which are necessary and sufficient conditions for such Finsler metric to be locally projectively flat. By solving these equations, we obtain all of locally projectively flat general (${\alpha},{\beta}$)-metrics under certain condition. Finally, we manufacture explicitly new locally projectively flat Finsler metrics.

  • In view of solution to the Hilbert fourth problem, the present study engages to investigate the projectively flat special (𝛼, 𝛽)-metric and the generalised first approximate Matsumoto (𝛼, 𝛽)-metric, where 𝛼 is a Riemannian metric and 𝛽 is a differential one-form. Further, we concluded that 𝛼 is locally Projectively flat and have 𝛽 is parallel with respect to 𝛼 for both the metrics. Also, we obtained necessary and sufficient conditions for the aforementioned metrics to be locally projectively flat.

  • In this paper, we study conformal transformations between special class of Finsler metrics named C-reducible metrics. This class includes Randers metrics in the form $F={\alpha}+{\beta}$ and Kropina metric in the form $F={\frac{{\alpha}^2}{\beta}}$. We prove that every conformal transformation between locally dually flat Randers metrics must be homothetic and also every conformal transformation between locally dually flat Kropina metrics must be homothetic.

  • We show that on a compact locally conformal K$\ddot{a}$hler manifold $M^{2n}$ (dim $M^{2n}\;=\;2n\;{\geq}\;4$), $M^{2n}$ is K$\ddot{a}$hler if and only if its conformal scalar curvature k is not smaller than the scalar curvature s of $M^{2n}$ everywhere. As a consequence, if a compact locally conformal K$\ddot{a}$hler manifold $M^{2n}$ is both conformally flat and scalar flat, then $M^{2n}$ is K$\ddot{a}$hler. In contrast with the compact case, we show that there exists a locally conformal K$\ddot{a}$hler manifold with k equal to s, which is not K$\ddot{a}$hler.

  • We show that the conharmonical1y flat K-contact find cosymplectic manifolds are local1y Euclidean. Evidently non locally Euclidean conharmonically flat Sasakian manifold does not exist. Moreover we see that conharmonically flat Kenmotsu manifold does not exist and conharmonically flat fibred quasi quasi Sasakian space is locally Euclidean if and only if the scalar curvature of each fibre vanishes identically.

  • We proved that if a fibred Riemannian space $\tilde{M}$ with cosymplectic structure is conformally flat, then $\tilde{M}$ is the locally product manifold of locally Euclidean spaces, that is locally Euclidean. Moreover, we investigated the fibred Riemannian space with cosymplectic structure when the Riemannian metric $\tilde{g}$ on $\tilde{M}$ is Einstein.

  • We deal with two metrics of Randers type, which are characterized by the solution of certain differential equations respectively. Furthermore, we will give the condition for a Finsler space with such a metric to be a locally Minkowski space or a conformally flat space, respectively.

  • The ($\alpha,\;\beta$)-metric is a Finsler metric which is constructed from a Riemannian metric $\alpha$ and a differential 1-form $\beta$. In this paper, we discuss the projective flatness of Finsler spaces with certain ($\alpha,\;\beta$)-metrics ([5]) in a locally Minkowski space.
