The concentration of heavy metal were studied for the estimation of quality in herbal medicines which is Bupleuri Radix, Paeoniae Radix, Dioscoreae Rhizoma and Astragali Radix in products of north Kyungbuk area. And we compared with heavy metal concentration of herbal medicines in products of Kyungbuk and the other area of Korea. Also, we collected soils from several area in Kyungbuk, and determined heavy metal concentration of soils by ICP. We compared with herbal medicines in products of Kyungbuk and their soils. The results were as follow : Kyungbuk area appear to be more proper to cultivated land than other area. For the heavy metals contents of Kyungbuk area, in Gong Jung Ri, represented the higher level, it may be due to a near the road. Correlation coefficients of heavy metal contents in cultured herbal medicines and their soils did not give reproducible results.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the estimation model of' amenity environment' by Perceived Envionmental Quality Index(PEQI) model. A questionnaire survey was carried out for 연e study area of Taegu-Kyungbuk region. Sampling size was 838(427 of Taegu and 411 of Kyungbuk residents by stratified sampling of each region's(7 Gu for Tae-gu, 7 Cities 61 Gun far Kyungbuk) population. The survey was done during Sep. to Nov, of 1996. The suggested model was composed of four estimation categories and 16 Indicators. The four categories were 'Cleanness 61 Quietness', 'Naturalness & Harmony', 'Beauty 61 Comfort' and 'Environmental Conservation Efforts'. And each category has several individual Indicators. The weighted means of satisfaction were different by each region. Suseong-gu, Dalseogu, Joong-gu(Taegu), Bumcheon, Andong, and Cheondo(Kyungbuk) showed high enoronmental satisfaction, but Dong-gu. Seo-gu(taegu), Youngcheon, and Pohang(Kyungbuk) showed lower environmental satisfaction. By Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) of weighting values for each categorirs, 'Enoronmental Conservation Efforts' was estimated as the most Important(value of 0.367), and 'Naturalness 61 Harmony'(0. 242),'Clenness & guletness'(0.225), and 'Beauty & Comfort'(0.166) were Important respectively. Total PEQI's were estimated as 48.0 for Taegu, and 53.3 for Kyungbuk. PEQI's for each regions were between 46.2(Dong-gu) and 59.9(Kimcheon). The validity of the suggested model was verined by factor analysis. The four factors were identnied as the same categories and indicators. Finally, The LISREL+7 model was suggested as estimauon model of 'Amenity Environment' for Taegu-Kyungbuk region.

현재 대구시 소방관들은 소화전, 위험물들의 위치가 모바일 어플리케이션화 되어있지 않다. 이로 인해 관리 및 화재시 현장에 나갈 때 바로 검색할 수 없기 때문에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 본 논문에서는 소화전과 위험물의 모든 정보를 제공하는 모바일 어플리케이션을 통하여 언제 어디서나 소화전과 위험물의 위치와 정보에 접근할 수 있게 하였다. 이와 함께 현재 소방대원들이 사용하는 무전기외 간섭, 끊김, 차단등과 같은 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 기존의 무전기가 사용하던 주파수대역보다 안정되고 좋은 품질의 Wi-FI 통신망을 이용하여 높은 통화품질의 모바일 단말기 기반의 무전통신 서비스를 제공한다.

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Chuna treatment for neck pain patients caused by traffic accident. Methods : 64 patients were divided into two groups, experimental group and control group, of 32 patients each. Control group was treated with general korean medical treatment three times per week for 2 weeks. Experimental group was treated with Chuna treatment and general korean medical treatment three times per week for 2 weeks. We evaluated the treatment effect of each group with the visual analog scale(VAS) and neck disability index(NDI). Results : 1. In both two groups, VAS were decreased significantly in statistics after treatment. 2. In both two groups, NDI were decreased significantly in statistics after treatment. 3. There were significant reduction of the VAS in experimental group than control group, but, there were not significant reduction of the NDI in experimental group than control group. Conclusions : We suggest that Chuna treatment could be recommended as a useful therapy to neck pain patients caused by traffic accident.
