The purpose of this study was to analyze and determine the relationship between physiological responses including blood flow rate and garment pressure, and the feeling of restrictive tightness associated with the wearing skinny pants as a popular clothing style. Evaluation was based on material type, posture and activity type, and body part location. Five female college students took part in this research. Five kinds of experimental clothes with waist measurements of 66cm were chosen. An analysis of the selected skinny pants demonstrated the degree of the whole looseness was higher in this order: clothing type A>B>D>C, and E with E being knitted cloth. Garment pressure was the highest in the front knee portions and was lowest in the outside thigh region. Garment pressure was highest in this sequence : clothing type C>=D>A>=B>E. In terms of posture and activity types, garment pressure was the highest when research participants were crouching, and was the lowest when standing. The blood flow rate was highest in this order: clothing type E>D>B>A>C. Type C skinny pants impeded blood flow and demonstrated the tightest and most restrictive relationship. Blood flow rate varied depending on the type of movement and was highest in this order: getting up, rowing, kicking, jumping and O-shaped leg posture. The results of subjective pressure evaluation demonstrated that pressure was highest in this order: E>=C>B>A>D. These results suggests the need to improve on the patterns and the material design in the area of the front knees. The degree of the looseness when wearing skinny pants did not always correspond to garment pressure or subjective sensation.
Purpose: This study was done to identify the core concepts and structure of difficult experiences of charge nurses in general hospitals. Methods: Data were collected from August 1 to September 5, 2014. Participants were 10 nurses from general hospitals in D and S cities. Parse research method was applied to examine lived experiences of the participants. The procedure of study was based on dialogical engagement and data were analyzed by extraction-synthesis and interpreted heuristically. The research question was "Would you tell me about your difficult experiences as a charge nurse?" Results: Job-related difficulties of the charge nurses were conflicts due to ineffective communication, heavy workload, not feeling respected, role conflict, and struggling to overcome difficulties with sense of responsibility to the work. The conceptual integration was: to be in the process of being originated and transformed through connecting-separating and enabling-limiting with valuing. Conclusion: Structural conversion of these concepts reveals that charge nurses suffer from the job-related difficulties identified in this study, but they endure to proceed with a sense of mission. It is suggested that supportive interventions should be made to let charge nurses express their feelings, identify their needs, and develop self-care or coping skills for themselves.
The RT(Robot Technology) has been developed as the next generation of a future technology. According to the 2002 technical report from Mitsubishi R&D center, IT(Information Technology) and RT(Robotic Technology) fusion system will grow five times larger than the current IT market at the year 2015. Moreover, a recent IEEE report predicts that most people will have a robot in the next ten years. RCP(Robotic Cellular Phone), CP(Cellular Phone) having personal robot services, will be an intermediate hi-tech personal machine between one CP a person and one robot a person generations. RCP infra consists of $RCP^{Mobility}$, $RCP^{Interaction}$, $RCP^{Integration}$ technologies. For $RCP^{Mobility}$, human-friendly motion automation and personal service with walking and arming ability are developed. $RCP^{Interaction}$ ability is achieved by modeling an emotion-generating engine and $RCP^{Integration}$ that recognizes environmental and self conditions is developed. By joining intelligent algorithms and CP communication network with the three base modules, a RCP system is constructed. Especially, the RCP interaction system is really focused in this paper. The $RCP^{interaction}$(Robotic Cellular Phone for Interaction) is to be developed as an emotional model CP as shown in figure 1. $RCP^{interaction}$ refers to the sensitivity expression and the link technology of communication of the CP. It is interface technology between human and CP through various emotional models. The interactive emotion functions are designed through differing patterns of vibrator beat frequencies and a feeling system created by a smell injection switching control. As the music influences a person, one can feel a variety of emotion from the vibrator's beats, by converting musical chord frequencies into vibrator beat frequencies. So, this paper presents the definition, the basic theory and experiment results of the RCP interaction system. We confirm a good performance of the RCP interaction system through the experiment results.
Nowadays people are turning to have a more intimate environment-friendly lifestyles. In the clothing industry they are focusing on making products that are more human-friendly and not harmful to the environment. In the midst of the spread of consumption research is being done to develop manufacturing textiles that do not induce pollution. For instance, advantages of the natural textile fibers, cotton, silk, and ramie, have been newly recognized in terms of environment-friendliness, Together with these fibers, the natural high molecular materials, such as chitosan and hyaluronic acid, have found new roles in the application sectors of human-friendliness and environment-friendliness. Products using these substances and processing methods can make the products more wearable, have high sensitivity, make people feel aesthetic appreciation for the products, and make them appreciate the value of a more healthier environment. In a survey according to subjects in their 20s and 30s, their preferences towards their consciousness and awareness of the development of materials as well as their attitude towards environment-friendly products were determined as a conclusion. It was shown that consumers that are more conscious about the interest of the environment as well as the problems concerning the environment were more intent on buying products that were environmentally-friendly. Women have shown more active and positive attitudes towards the importance of the awareness of the environment in comparison with men. Generally, consumers in their 20s and 30s preferred the feel of materials that were less than 1% concentration process than those of materials that were 1% concentration process. To increase the "rustly" feeling of the materials, it was found that 1% concentration process was suitable for manufacturing.
This study tries to search and analyze empirically the clothing merchandise purchase motivation and behavior made by foreign visitors who bought clothes as tour memorials in South Korea. To make a empirical study we made survey research and evaluated 30 items for the survey of clothing purchase motivation and 25 items for the survey of the importance and satisfaction revealed at the time of purchase with the standard of Likert 5 point. We had chosen 614 sample participants including 176 English speakers, 211 Japanese speakers, and 277 Chinese speakers among those foreign tourists who had purchased clothing materials at the Dongdaemun Shopping Mall. The result of analysis is as follows : As the result of factor analysis about the clothing merchandise purchase, we had 6 factors. They are (1)impulse, (2)utility, (3)fashionableness, (4)tour commemoration (5)psychology (6)economy. As the result of cluster analysis based on the standard of selected 6 factors of clothing merchandise purchase motivation, we could divide three groups such as (1)the pursuit type of clothing merchandise purchase, (2)the pursuit type of recreation of feeling (3)the pursuit type of tour memorial. As the result of analysis on the items of purchased clothing merchandise, the highest frequency of purchase was made by T-shirt, then by the order of sweater, blouse, and aloha shirt, pants, and jacket. In regard to the importance of items related to clothing merchandise, the highest importance was made by design, then by the order of price, size, color and utility, and style. In regard to the items related to the service of shopping mall, the highest satisfaction was made by the convenience of business hour. Meanwhile, the lowest satisfaction was made by the inconvenience of fitting room, the speaking and by ability of foreign languages by sales agents.
Active exploitation of experiential marketing is now practiced in diverse range of apparel brands such as luxury, sports and casual brands. Under such a market environments, this study attempts to verify the effects of consumer's experiential marketing perception by analyzing the formation process of brand attitude. The path from experiential marketing strategic modules (sense, feel, think, act, and relate) to brand loyalty is mediated by brand affect and brand trust. Two sports brands were selected as stimuli brands, and a survey was conducted on 286 consumers in their 20s and 30s. The study validates the importance of sense/feel marketing for apparel brands as it had extensive effects on brand affect which is highly significant in the formation of brand loyalty. As a result of comparative analysis of brand attitude and the path model of its formation for two brands which were different in consumers' perception of experiential marketing brand activities, the study realized that the higher the level of perceived experiential marketing, the higher the levels of brand affect, brand trust and brand loyalty. In particular, for brands perceived as actively engaged in experiential marketing, the path from the perception of experiential marketing activity to brand loyalty was clearly segmented between sensibility and rationality as sense/feel marketing had significant effects only on brand affect, and act/relate marketing only on brand trust. This study verifies the positive effects of perceived experiential marketing activities of apparel brands on brand equity, and proposes the strategic appropriateness of experiential marketing that embeds sensibility and feeling appeals.
The purpose of this study was to investigate residents' perceptions and attitudes towards Han-Ok based on a study of the characteristics and elements of Han-Ok that experts perceived. For the study, in-depth interviews were conducted and the data of 7 experts and 24 Han-Ok residents were analyzed. The results of the study were as follows. First, the characteristics of spatial arrangements are primarily emphasized and provide emotional stability for the residents. Placement on the ground, a suitable scale, appropriate openings and closures, hierarchical spatial system and a spatial relationship provide a feeling of comfort and protection. Second, the spaces and the materials of Han-Ok are considered the representative elements providing functionality and health. The close relationship between the inside and outside area makes the air naturally circulate and natural materials such as wood, soil, and paper have the function as natural ventilation, heat storage, and in the prevention of various illnesses. Third, residents in modern society put more of a value on experiences of natural environments that are usually impossible in the city. The simple and incomplete characteristics in using color, materials, and form, provide a culture of story telling and a leisurely lifestyle. Fourth, the cold and spatial inconvenience of Han-Ok are solved by partially using modernized equipment and material. The functionality of spatial systems in Han-Ok needs to be promoted in order to change the residents' perceptions of cold in Han-Ok.
Hair cut is one of the best useful technical tool for hair styling.
