  • We deal with a differential equation which is constructed from homogeneous function, and its geometrical meaning in a Finsler space. Moreover, were prove that a locally Minkowski space satisfying a differential equation F\ulcorner=0 is flat-parallel.

  • In this paper we studied the saddlepoint approximations to the distribution of non-homogeneous quadratic forms in normal variables. The results are the extension of Kuonen's which provide the same approximations to homogeneous quadratic forms. The CGF of interested statistics and related properties are derived for applications of saddlepoint techniques. Simulation results are also provided to show the accuracy of saddlepoint approximations.

  • Multiple discrete Hilbert type inequalities are established in the case of non-homogeneous kernel function by means of Laplace integral representation of associated Dirichlet series. Using newly derived integral expressions for the Mordell-Tornheim Zeta function a set of subsequent special cases, interesting by themselves, are obtained as corollaries of the main inequality.

  • In this paper, we obtain some results on the Hyers-Ulam stability for the family of the functional equation f(xоy) = $H(f(x)^{1/t},f(y)^{1/t}$) (x, $y{\in}S$), where H is a homogeneous function of degree t and о is a square-symmetric operation on the set S.

  • The affine homogeneous hypersurface in ${\mathbb{R}}^{n+1}$, which is a graph of a function $F:{\mathbb{R}}^n{\rightarrow}{\mathbb{R}}$ with |det DdF|=1, corresponds to a complete unimodular left symmetric algebra with a nondegenerate Hessian type inner product. We will investigate the condition for the domain over the homogeneous hypersurface to be homogeneous through an extension of the complete unimodular left symmetric algebra, which is called the graph extension.

  • In this paper, we study the boundedness of the commutator Hb formed by the rough Hardy operator H and a locally integrable function b from homogeneous Herz spaces to homogeneous weak Herz spaces. In addition, the weak boundedness of Hb on central Morrey spaces is also established.

  • In this paper, we obtain the modified Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability for the family of the functional equation f(x o y) = H(f(x)(sup)1/t, f(y)(sup)1/t)(x,y) $\in$S), where H is a s homogeneous function of degree t and o is a square-symmetric operation on the set S.

  • In this paper, an approach for 3-D object segmentation and classification, which is based on eigen-values of polynomial function as their surface features, using neural network is proposed. The range images of 3-D objects are classified into surface primitives which are homogeneous in their intrinsic eigenvalue properties. The misclassified regions due to noise effect are merged into correct regions satisfying homogeneous constraints of Hopfield neural network. The proposed method has advantage of processing both segmentation and classification simultaneously.
