  • Inundation of substation and ground power equipment breaks out every summer season in low-lying downtown and low-lying shore by localized heavy rain, typhoon and tidal wave. In case inundation excluding the exchanging cost of equipment, it occurs a great economic and social loss owing to recovery time and events of electric shock occur by inundation electrical equipment(Pad-mounted Transformer and Switch). In case of installing the power equipment at flood danger territory, we are necessary to the product development, the product is that water does not come in the inside the power equipment. Product of pressure maintaining are established on the basic frame and sensor operates at the flooding occurrence and is maintained a shutting tightly structure and it is a method. The product which is produced the reliability of the product it confirmed a flooding yes or no from the condition which puts in the water tank and it verified. We estimate that loss cost which is caused by with flooding and the power failure will be diminished if it is addition to advances the reliability evaluation and a security of the flood protection product.

중량물 설치 시 이동식 크레인 기종선정에 관한 연구 (HA Study on the Selection of Mobile Crane Model for Heavy Equipments Installation)

  • This study focuses on avoiding the failures from the wrong selections by experiences as simulation programs is not available, and suggests the methods which effectively select the alternatives when the selected model is not appropriate for the original plan. First, CC8800-1K of DEMAG has the longest boom whose length is 216 m at the maximum. The combination of the boom is feasible to second level except for MANITIWOC M 2250 (M-1200 RINGER) which is possible to third level. Second, the angle of boom is from 20 degrees to 82 degrees. Suitable angle to work is in the 55-78 degrees. The working load of crawler type and hydraulic one to be applied is 75-85% in the critical loads capacity. As increasing operating radius, crawler type is a favorable position over hydraulic one. Lastly, related problems were verified through examination by suggestions for the design of the selection methods for the case analysis. The major problems are stemming from the selection based on its experiences, unreasonable demand for the existing facility and repeated selections by the designer who accumulates his experiences via same or similar projects.

  • The robot is an effective means to perform repetitive tasks quickly and accurately. It could be more effective in dangerous environments where human is difficult to access. The construction site is a dangerous environment with a high possibility of industrial accidents where heavy work is frequently carried out at a high place. In particular, an accident in the construction site is highly likely to lead to a severe disaster. Of course, various technologies are being developed to monitor the safety of workers in construction sites and prevent accidents, but there is a limit to eliminate the risk of accidents. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to replace workers exposed to dangerous environments with equipment or robots that could be controlled remotely in a more active way. In this study, Remote Precise Installation System was proposed to replace the workers exposed to the risk of accident at a high place during the bridge construction. Also, the conceptual design and analytical reviews of this system were carried out. Suppose Remote Precise Installation System is developed according to the derived concept and the target performance. In that case, this system is expected to be applied as a technology that can effectively replace the workers at the bridge construction site.

  • The global and domestic market for offshore wind farm is expected to grow fast, and the design and installation of substructure and foundation is getting more important. As for the offshore wind farms located in the shallow(depth < 20m) water, the construction and installation of the substructure and foundation makes up about 1/4 ~1/3 of the offshore wind farm construction cost, and the portion is expected to increase because the turbine capacity is increasing from 2 ~ 3MW to 5MW or larger and the water depth of wind farms is also increasing over 30m. As a foundation for offshore wind turbine, the suction caisson foundation is being considered to be a highly competitive alternative to the conventional monopile or gravity based structure, because it has features suitable for the offshore construction such as quick installation, no heavy equipment for penetration and no hammering noise for driving. In order to study the installation behaviour of the suction caisson, laboratory tests were performed with sand. The pore water pressure and displacement were measured to analyze the suction pressure during penetration, the penetration speed and the amount of heaving.

커튼월 설치 로봇 컨트롤러의 설계 및 사용성 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study for Usability and Designing Manual Controller of a Curtain‐wall Installation Robot)

  • A construction robot has been developed for higher productivity and better safety in various construction fields. Especially, curtain wall is suitable for outer wall material of tall commercial building and apartment complexes. This heavy material is, however, hard to install with a manpower and outdated equipment. For this reason, the prototype of ASCI (Automation System for Curtain wall Installation) was developed. This system has a robot controller(i.e. hand-held remote control unit) for the transfer information signal between human operator and robot system. Although study has been conducted on manual controller of ASCI, hardly any information is known about the operator's opinion. In this study, a questionnaire was completed by operator to get their opinion about aspects which need to design a more comfortable and productive manual controller of construction machinery, robot included. Through the result of study, it is expected that this technical data is contributed to the robot controller design for comfort and productivity of various industrial machinery.

침수지역에서 수·변전설비 침수방지시설에 관한 현장실태 조사 및분석 (The Investigation and Analysis of Field Condition on Flood Protection Equipment of Transformer Vault in Flood Area)

  • 매년 집중 호우 및 태풍${\cdot}$해일 등에 의해 도심 저지대 및 해안가 저지대의 수${\cdot}$변전설비 침수가 많이 발생을 하고 있다. 수${\cdot}$변전설비가 침수되면 전력 수급에 큰 문제를 발생시키고, 복구 시간이 많이 걸리기에 그에 따른 경제적 손실 발생과 침수된 설비에 의한 감전사고 발생 및 물적 피해가 발생을 한다. 따라서 이를 방지하기 위한 상습 침수지역에서의 수${\cdot}$변전설비 시설에 대한 시설 방안이 제시되어야 할 것이다. 이미 외국의 경우 전기설비의 중요성을 인식하여 침수지역에서의 전기설비 시설에 대하여 규정을 하고 있다. 본 논문은 국내에서 가장 많이 분포되어 있는 22.9[kV] 수${\cdot}$변전설비 시설 현황 및 침수방지 대책에 대한 현장실태조사를 하였고, 미국, 영국 등 국외 전기설비 침수방지 대책에 관한 규정들을 비교${\cdot}$분석하였다. 분석 결과 국내의 침수방지 대책이 현장 및 제도적으로 미비하였다. 따라서 본 논문은 현장실태조사 결과와 국외 침수방지대책에 관한 규정 분석을 토대로 상습침수지역에서의 수${\cdot}$변전설비 침수방지 대책을 제시하였다. 또한 본 연구 내용은 국내 관련 법 개정(안)을 제시하는데 근거 자료로 사용될 것이다.

범죄예방 및 안전사고 감소를 위한 CCTV시스템의 활용방안에 관한 연구 (Research on Utilizing Method of CCTV System for Crime Prevention and Safety Accident Reduction)

  • Recently, people in cities of developed countries are exposed to unfortified damages of crime and disaster due to urbanization, industrialization and information-oriented era caused by congestion of population in terms of hardware and various social pathology phenomena and frequent and large scale of disaster caused by crime and disorder, which occur in the course of going through nuclear family, a gap between rich and poor and aging society in terms of software. In this regard, demand for security upon individual life and property has been increased but the police that are responsible for the public security does not effectively reduce damage in life and property because their activities are mainly oriented in coping with security accidents more than prevention. Shortage of manpower and budget, retarded equipment, and heavy overwork are the reasons. In order to confront with this kind of situation, we should utilize CCTV system with the purpose of declining possible chances of crime, not for eliminating cause of crime as crime prevention activities to predict danger in advance as a way of prevention and we may expect a role of damage prevention by installing CCTV in places where security accident may possibly happen. In conclusion, there are invasion of privacy, misuse of the system, insufficiency of overall monitoring office management, lack of citizens' understanding and economical allotment of the system installation costs in installation of CCTV system. However. it is necessary to install the CCTV system for effective prevention of crime and prevention activities of security accidents and accurate PR of purposes of installing CCTV to local residents, establishing relevant laws about system misuse, allotment of equipment costs and fees by R&D of the system machinery, cost reduction method of storage, management and replacement, saving costs from co-operative attitude of government, and local autonomous entities and local residents should be involved.

Key Technologies for Super Tall Building Construction: Lotte World Tower

  • This paper addresses the key technologies for supertall building construction based on the Lotte World Tower project in Korea. First, the mega-mat foundation construction technologies are shown, including ultra-low heat concrete, heat of hydration control programs, and the logistics plan. Then, high strength concrete technologies of 50~80 MPa are introduced and discussed within the context of the highest pumping record in Korea at 514.25 meters. Structural design concepts of gravity load and lateral force resistance systems are introduced, along with surveying systems using GNSS and temporary installation plans of special heavy equipment like tower cranes, hoists, and high pressure concrete pumps. If it is possible to coordinate these key technologies and others, optimizing for the building's design and construction, supertall building construction can be successfully completed.

적외선 시스템을 이용한 지상차상통신 (Trackside to Train Communication Using Infrared System)

  • 열차에서 지상차상통신은 데이터를 전송하기 위해 트랜스폰더 또는 발리스 (balise) 와 같은 무선장비를 일반적으로 사용하고 있다. 그러나, 이러한 종래의 방식에는 다중경로 페이딩, 대역폭소스 제한, 다른 사용자들로부터의 간섭 등 과같은 단점들이 있다. 게다가 이러한 장비가 많이 설치될 경우에는 비용이 많이 든다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 적외선 통신 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 적외선 시스템을 사용하여 열차의 위치 같은 데이타를 열차로 전송 할 수 있다. 적외선 통신 프로토콜은 direct dedication configuration에 실용적인 무선 데이터 통신을 제공할 수 있다. 뿐만 아니라, pole configuration경우에 적외선 시스템은 풍부한 대역폭 그리고 경제적 장비설치비용, 폭우 때 장비이용의 신뢰성까지 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 통신기능과 실행평가측정 (measurement performance evaluation)에 대한 분석을 다루었다. 제안된 지상차상통신 시스템에는 적외선 수신기 및 적외선 송신기 사이를 약 6미터 까지 전송가능하며, 송신기의 반각은 19.65도로, 수신각은 15도로 설정되었다.

적외선 시스템을 이용한 경사 지역에서 열차 운행 속도 제어 (Train Speed Control in Slope Area Using Infrared System)

  • 열차 속도 제어는 운영 트랙에서 안전 운동을 구축하기 위한 열차 보호의 중요한 일부분이다. 경사진 면적과 같은 열차를 보호하는 데 필요한 트랙의 특수한 조건이 있다. 더욱이 반달리즘 문제를 가진 개도국에서 특수한 조건은 트랙 사이드의 장비를 최소화하기 위한 설치가 요구된다. 더욱이 열대 국가에서 트랙 사이드는 수질에서 트랙 사이드 장비의 성능에 영향을 줄 것으로 보인다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 적외선 시스템을 이용하여 경사진 면적에 대하여 열차 속도 제어를 제안한다. 전주 배열의 설치에 의해 이 시스템은 보다 적은 도전, 경제적인 민감성, 트랙 사이드의 장비의 최소 설치와 강우 환경에서 신뢰성을 제공한다. 본 논문은 경사진 면적에서 성능 평가를 측정하고 열차 속도를 제어하는데 중점을 준다. 제안한 열차 속도 제어 시스템은 시간 당 약 20km의 제어속도와 최대 3.6%의 경사진 면적에서 속도 제어와 감시가 가능하다.
