Nowadays, it has been changed in medical environments which are the increase of the aged and chronic disease, development of medical system and technology, the open of medical markets according to negotiation of DDA(Doha Development Agenda) and FTA(Free Trade Agreement) and so on. The changes of medical system and function are caused by changes of medical environments. This study is to analyze the spatial changes of general hospital O. P. D. in Korea based on changes of the medical system and function. In conclusion, the O. P. D. in general hospital has been changed by stages as follows; First, subdivision and specialization of medical organization systems. Second, diversification of specialized centers based on medical cooperated systems. At last, integration of E&T faculties and specialized centers which have similar functions. According to the spatial changes of outpatient department, the types of E&T faculties and specialized centers has been changed by diverse forms as follows; E&T faculties and specialized centers focused on disease, organs, classes and so on.

영국 국립 박물관 중의 하나인 런던의 월레스 컬렉션은 보존과 관련된 상설 전시를 하고 있는데, 유물의 제작 기법과 재료를 다룬 전시뿐 아니라, 보존에 관한 특별 주제로 전시를 하기도 한다. 월레스 컬렉션의 현재 보존관련 상설전시와 특별 전시 그리고 영국 내 다른 박물관의 예를 통해서, 보존과 일반 대중과의 관계와 교류의 변화를 살펴보고자 한다. 박물관은 기존에는 수동적 정보 전달의 역할이었지만, 현재는 보다 적극적인 교육에 초점을 맞추면서, 보존도 일반 대중의 위한 프로그램과 전시를 통해 이러한 변화에 동참하는 추세다.

공과대학은 다른 인문, 사회 계열과는 달리 교양교육과정이 전공과정과 뚜렷하게 구분되기 때문에 어떤 형태와 내용으로 구성되어 있느냐에 따라 학생의 학습 성과(outcomes)에 많은 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 또한 한국의 공과대학에서는 공학교육인증(ABEEK) 시행에 따라 그 기준에 부합하는 교양교육과정을 구성하는 방법상의 문제에 많은 혼란이 있어 왔다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 미국의 우수한 공과대학으로 꼽히고 있는 스탠포드대학교(Stanford University), 메사추세스공과대학(Massachusetts Institute of Technology), 로즈헐맨공과대학(Rose-hulman Institute of technology)과 프린스턴대학교(Princeton University)와 미시간대학교(Michigan University-Ann Arbor) 그리고 펜실베이니아 주립대학교(Pennsylvania State University)와 캔자스주립대학교(kansas state University)의 교양교육과정을 비교하여 한국 공과대학 교양교육과정 구성에 시사점을 찾기 위해 구현방식과 학문적 영역상의 특성을 분석하여 제시하였다.

In this paper, we obtain the general solution and the stability of the 2-dimensional vector variable quadratic functional equation f( x + y, z - w) + f(x - y, z + w) = 2f(x, z ) + 2f(y, ${\omega}$). The quadratic form f( x, y) = $ax^2$ + $by^2$ without cross product terms is a solution of the above functional equation.

It has been proved that the union of two linear star-configurations in $\mathbb{P}^2$ of type $t{\times}s$ for $3{\leq}t{\leq}9$ and $3{\leq}t{\leq}s$ has generic Hilbert function. We extend the condition to $t$ = 10, so that it is true for $3{\leq}t{\leq}10$, which generalizes the result of [7].

A methodology for design of reinforced concrete members for serviceability in general and deflection control in particular is presented based on application of utility theory. The approach is based on minimizing total cost including both initial construction and cost of failure considering variability in structural behavior and various forms of serviceability loss function. The method is demonstrated for the case of a simply supported slab for example.

General features of the fluorescence depolarization are briefly reviewed. Molecular rotations and electronic excitation transports are considered to account for the fluorescence depolarization. Various molecular systems studied by the fluorescence depolarization are described. The FiSrster theory which forms a basis for the energy transfer is revisited. Several theoretical treatments for the fluorescence depolarization in liquid and solid phases such as classical hydrodynamics, probability distribution function, Green's function formalism, molecular dynamics simulation and Monte Carlo methods are introduced.

Multigrid methods finite element/finite volume methods and their convergence properties are reviewed in a general setting. Some early theoretical results in simple finite element methods in variational setting method are given and extension to nonnested-noninherited forms are presented. Finally, the parallel theory for nonconforming element[13] and for cell centered finite difference methods [15, 23] are discussed.

Hypothyroidism is a deficiency in thyroid hormone secretion by the thyroid gland and a defect in thyroid hormonal receptor activity. It is categorized by the two major forms in children, the one is congenital hypothyroidism and the other is acquired hypothyroidism. Congenital hypothyroidism is one of the commonest treatable causes of mental retardation and occurs in 1 in 3,000-4,000 infants worldwide. Acquired hypothyroidism is a diseases that have an onset usually after 6 months of age and it may be relate to deceleration in linear growth. The objectives of this article are obtain general and practical concepts of congenital and acquired hypothyroidism during infancy, childhood, and adolescence.

In this paper, the equations of motion are constructed systematically for multibody systems containing closed kinematic loops. For the displacement analysis of the closed loops, we introduce a new mixed coordinates by adding to the reference coordinates, relative coordinates corresponding to the degrees of freedom of the system. The mixed coordinates makes easy derive the explicit closed form solution. The explicit functional relationship expressed in closed form is of great advantages in system dimension reduction and no need of an iterative scheme for the displacement analysis. This forms of equation are built up in the general purpose computer program for the kinematic and dynamic analysis of multiboty systems.
