본 연구는 가상의류를 키워드로 하여 국내에서 이루어지고 있는 가상의류 관련 연구를 수집한 후, 가상의류 분야의 연구시기, 내용, 방법 등 연구 동향을 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 통해 향후 가상의류 관련 연구의 진행 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 가상의류 관련 학술지와 학위논문의 학문분야를 분석한 결과, 패션 분야가 가장 많고, 다음으로 자연과학 분야, 예술 분야의 순으로 나타났다. 가상의류 관련 연구의 연도별 분포는 2000년 이후 점차 증가하다가 2016년에서 2020년 사이 감소하고, 코로나 펜데믹 이후 증가하는 경향을 나타냈다. 가상의류 연구내용은 마케팅이 가장 많고, 다음으로 가상착의, 디자인, 소재, 시스템 등이 있었다. 가상의류 관련 연구방법은 실험 연구가 가장 많고 다음으로 조사연구, 개발 연구의 순이었다. 향후 패션 관련 시스템 개발 연구, 가상 의류의 실효성 검증에 관한 연구가 진행되어야 할 것으로 생각된다. 또, 국외의 가상의류 연구 동향에 대한 분석이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

This Shanghai region study is a sample survey of female college students in their early 20s. This study collected and analyzed the information of shapes through a direct contact survey to understand the breast figures and the measurements of bodies to provide basic information to improve brassiere production for adult females in China. Data was analyzed through a SAS 9.0. The characteristic of the final brassiere pattern that had been corrected and complemented from the results of the $l^{st},\;2^{nd},\;3^{rd}$, and $4^{th}$ fitting tests is defined as a brassiere inserted with a round wire that has the 3/4cup to wrap the bust area by about 3/4. It consists of an upper and lower nonwoven fabric cup that has a flat-shaped wing of a circular dart. The drawing method of the pattern of this brassiere is applied with the conditions to cover the body naturally under the diverse and organic relations of the material factor of stretch material and wire, functional factor, and sewing factor. The final pattern is created as a bigger angle of wing pattern and a short inner side diameter because there are more Chinese women with a back of bending figure compared to Korean women.

The objective of the study was to design a Battle Dress Uniform(BDU with improved motional flexibility, body fit, and protectiveness to cope with the special operational environment of the subjects. For this purpose, the researcher conducted a questionnaire survey on 92 male members of Special Weapon Attack Team(SWAT units in a former study, and based on the results of the survey, made the two-piece and one- piece BDU samples to overcome the identified problems and inconveniences. The sample uniforms were designed ergonomically from five aspects. Subsequentlv, the new BDU was compared with the current operational uniform in terms of outward appearance(design and fit), motional flexibility, and suitability for field activities. The samples were evaluated by 5 SWAT members as subjects and 8 graduate school students majoring in clothing and textiles as experts. According to the results, the two-piece and one-piece samples gained higher scores than the existing operational uniform in terms of outward appearance(design and fitness) and motional flexibility, and the one-piece sample was preferred with regard to fit when worn by the subjects with their full kit for field operations. That is, the one-piece sample appeared to be more suited to the special work environment of SWAT and to be more functional in terms of ease of putting on and taking off, motional flexibility, body fit and protectiveness than the current operational uniform(two-piece type).

This study sought to develop clothing for a companion animal that can provide stable ECG measurements. A pattern for the smart clothing of a companion dog was manufactured using the replica method to select a location and method that best suited the stable measurement of ECG and improved the clothing's fitness. The smart clothing was developed as the following three types: strap type, top type, and combined top and vest type with a detachable wireless ECG monitor. The detection abilities of these were observed using the PQRST rate taken after ECG measurements while the three companion dogs were tested while resting and moving. The results revealed that apart from using an electrode, applying a gel pad is the most effective way to achieve stable ECG measurements, and the central chest region is more reliable than the left armpit for providing steady readings. The combined top and vest type showed the highest average ECG PQRST detection number, meaning that the ECG signal measurement was steady. These results may contribute to the measurement of ECG in smartwear for U-Healthcare to measure other biometric data of a companion dog.

This study analyzes the practical tasks and required competency for technical designers to provide basic data on the training of domestic technical designers. The survey was applied to 21 technical designers of big vendors as well as investigated tasks, task flow, important tasks, time-consuming tasks, and required competencies. The results of the study are as follows. First, the technical designers were in charge of several brands of buyers and distributors of fashion companies, or several lines of the same brand. The main production items were cut and sewn knits. Second, the flow of task and tasks were in the order of buyer comments analysis, sloper decision to matching style, sewing specification, productive sewing method research, size specification suggestion, pattern correction comments, construction decision to matching style & fabric, sample evaluations, fit approval, business e-mail writing, specification & grading confirmation, and communication with buyer. Third, five tasks (analysis of buyer comments analysis, communication with buyer, pattern correction comments, productive sewing methods research, sample evaluation) were important and time-consuming tasks. Fourth, reeducation was required in order of sewing, pattern, English, fabric, and fitting. Fifth, competencies to be a technical designers were fitting, pattern correction, size specification & grading, construction & sewing specification, sewing terms & techniques, and communication skills. In conclusion, technical designer training should focus on technology-based instruction, such as sample evaluation, fitting, pattern correction, and productive sewing methods research of cut and sewn knits.

Although they generally undergo less change in somatotype than other age groups, women in their early twenties have postural changes incurred with their inappropriate postures during the growth period. Since such somatotype changes reduce their satisfaction in the fitting of ready-made clothing, the study intends to examine the inadequate postures and life habits of women in their twenties and to analyze their self-recognition and actual conditions of the bad fit of ready-made clothes. A survey questionnaire was conducted on 225 customers and 29 sellers of ready-made clothes. According to the result, it was found that their inappropriate postures had made their back and shoulders undesirably bent and led to their low satisfaction in the fitting of ready-made clothes. Therefore, it is necessary to perform researches for developing renovated design in consideration of their somatotype changes.

Jeogori, Korean jacket, can be categorized into two styles. Traditional style Jeogori is based on conventional construction method for ceremonial or festive occasions. Contemporary casual style Jeogori is based on western style flat pattern making for better fitting and functionality. Traditional style Jeogori is quite flat on human body because it is not considered the grade of shoulder line and is drawn by vertical & horizontal line. This characteristic feature causes weakness in functionality and comfort compared to contemporary casual style. Apparently contemporary casual style has better wearing comfort. Yet to most Koreans, contemporary style Jeogori seems to lack of some characteristic style of its own. This study is to find out how to make Jeogori well balanced in terms of functionality, fit, comfort and traditional style. Currently used Jeogori patterns are compared in order to select the best among them. Onto the selected pattern, several alterations were tried focused on shoulder, armhole and sleeve lines to make optimal modifications. After several comparative fitting tests, the final pattern making method was suggested.

최근에는 패션 분야에서는 컴퓨터 그래픽을 이용하여 의상을 재현하는 디지털 클로딩 기술이 활성화되고 있고, 패션의 흐름을 3D 기술과 접목하려는 연구가 많이 진행되고 있다. 패션산업에서 스마트폰을 이용하여 트렌드 변화를 정확하게 파악하여 감성적인 요인들을 추가시켜야 성공적인 패션산업을 이룰 수 있다. 기존의 3D 피팅 서비스는 아바타나 가상 거울이 설치된 매장이나 인터넷 사이트에서 가능하였다. 본 논문에서는 아이폰을 이용하여 소비자 입장에서 시간적, 체력적 소모가 줄일 수 있는 패션 피팅 서비스 시스템을 제안한다. 본 시스템은 기업측면에서는 마케팅을 쉽게 할 수 있고, 소비자는 제품을 다양하게 선택하여 어울림을 확인하였다.

The objective of this study is to propose a method by which movement fitness can be evaluated using a three-dimensional virtual garment simulation program. To this end, five types of jean pants for men were evaluated on the program by setting the avatars to make particular movements to examine the level of pressure on each body part. To verify whether the clothing pressure measurement produces valid and reliable results, virtual garment simulation program was utilized. The results indicated that there were significant differences in the levels of pressure on body parts depending on the type of test garment and motion. In addition, the clothing pressure measurement results were in line with the appearance evaluation results suggested by a previous study. Based on this set of results, the nomological validity of the clothing pressure measurement program used in this study was verified. Moreover, we employed an appearance evaluation along with the clothing pressure measurement to verify the reliability of the program; there was a high correlation between clothing pressure measurements and appearance evaluation measurements, indicating that measuring clothing pressures may well compensate for the limitations of appearance evaluation. We expect the results of this study to make valuable contributions in facilitating the digitalization of the fashion industry. Furthermore, this study also is significant in that it has suggested 3D virtual fitting programs as a solution to the long-criticized problem related to the evaluation of movement fitness in existing virtual garment simulation programs.

The body changes of the elderly women are the forward tilt of the neck and shoulder point shrinkage of the spinal column, and protrusive abdomen. Unfortunately, few data based on body measurements for elderly women existed and a few studies are limited to the body figure of the elderly women. If these changes are not applied to the manufacturing of the clothing, almost of the elderly women will be unfitted with their clothing. So to improve the fitting of the elderly women, it is necessary to use the standard size systems for elderly women. This report is the first study to develop the standard tables of body measurements to be used for improving the fit of garments and patterns for women aged 60 and older. This study drew from anthropometric measurements of 337 and photographic measurements of 276 women aged 60 and older. It described the protocol of anthropometric measurement, the comparison between the measured data and the data on which National anthropometric survey of Korea 1997 is based, and the development of body measurement standard tables for elderly women. And we also considered the regional difference of body dimensions in order to develop the national size standards for elderly women. Further study would include the classification of body dimensions and description of each figure type for sizing apparel of women aged 60 and older.
