How Educational Satisfaction and Relational Support Affect Self-Efficacy and Entrepreneurship of Korean Secondary School Students (교육만족도와 관계적 지원이 한국 고등학교학생들의 자기효능감과 기업가정신에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to ascertain the effect of both educational satisfaction and relational support on the self-efficacy of secondary school students and then eventually on their entrepreneurship. Testing self-efficacy as a mediator is another aim of this study. The findings indicated that both educational satisfaction and relational support have positive relationships with the self-efficacy of students. Self-efficacy also had a positive impact on entrepreneurship. The core part of this study focuses on the role of both educational satisfaction and relational support in fostering the self-efficacy and entrepreneurship of secondary school students. These results can serve as practical guidance when making decisions regarding the adequate pedagogy for secondary school students in order to promote entrepreneurship among the adolescents.

  • This study focused on the importance of creativity in organizational environment recently, and empirically analyzes the process of entrepreneurship to improve organizational creativity through entrepreneurial self-efficacy and confirmed its effect. This study analyzed the relationship between the entrepreneurship and individual and group creativity. In particular, it examines the mediating effects of entrepreneurship and creativity. For this study, the research model and hypothesis were established based on the literature research, and 308 questionnaires were distributed and collected for manufacturing workers in Gyeongbuk. The results showed that entrepreneurship affects entrepreneurship self-efficacy and entrepreneurship self-efficacy affects individual and group creativity. The effects of entrepreneurship on entrepreneurial self-efficacy and entrepreneurial self-efficacy on individual and group creativity were examined. These findings can provide guidelines for corporate strategy development direction and organizational management.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of Characteristics of Entrepreneurship Education Program on Perceived Feasibility, Entrepreneurship, Career Decision Self-Efficacy and Entrepreneurial intention. A total of 559 questionnaires were collected from students participating in the BizCool Camp, were classified as SPSS 21.0 And Amos 22.0. As a result of the hypothesis test, the Characteristics of Entrepreneurship Education Program(Entrepreneurship Education Expertise, Differentiation of Entrepreneurship Education) positively affect Perceived Feasibility and Entrepreneurship, and Perceived Feasibility and Entrepreneurship increase Entrepreneurial Intention through Career Decision Self-Efficacy. This study proves that Entrepreneurship Recognition should be formed in order for The Youth Entrepreneurship Education Program to be Startups.

  • Considerable agreement exists about the importance of promoting entrepreneurship in both developed and developing countries. In less developed countries, governments see entrepreneurship as a way to stimulate economic development and tackle serious economic and social challenges. So how can countries encourage young people to become entrepreneurs? Research confirms that intentions play an important role in the decision to start a new firm and many factors influence that intentions. The purpose of the study was to investigate the antecedents to entrepreneurship behavior with particular attention to moderating role of social support and entrepreneur self-efficacy. The study covered 116 business students of undergraduate and post graduate level studying under different universities in Kathmandu, Nepal. The questionnaire for data collection was distributed in college groups via WhatsApp and viber with the support and permission from the college administration. The study design used was correlational with a sampling procedure of convenience. The study only showed the impact of attitude to entrepreneurship behavior as well as moderating effect of social support was also observed.

Impact of NIE on entrepreneurship and career awareness in Adolescent: Mediated effect of self-efficacy (청소년의 신문활용교육(NIE)이 기업가정신 및 진로인식에 미치는 영향: 자기효능감을 매개효과로 하여)

  • It is critical for adolescents to foster self-efficacy, creativity, and adventurous spirit as well as plans for appropriate career path in order to become good members of society. During this adolescent period, newspapers will be a good learning material as they deliver various and timely information in refined language. In this paper, we analyzed the impact of NIE on development of self-efficacy, awareness of career path, and entrepreneurship through comparing adolescents who regularly read newspapers with those who do not. We came up with the following result after analysis of surveys (with a sample size of 283) that targeted middle school and higher grade elementary school students across Korea. We confirmed that reading newspapers has a positive impact on development of self-efficacy, awareness of career path, and entrepreneurship. More specifically, reading newspapers regularly has a positive impact on development of self-efficacy that subsequently has a positive impact on development of awareness of career path and entrepreneurship. Therefore, we found that simply reading newspapers regularly has a positive impact on development of self-efficacy, awareness of career path, and entrepreneurship with no special programs utilizing the newspapers. This is because various information and opinions in newspapers help adolescents to develop their own views, improve understanding and awareness of career, and development of sociality including creativity and adventurous spirit. There is the meaning as the first research that this research checks what the NIE of the adolescents affects the positive impact to not only the self-efficacy and career awareness but also entrepreneurship.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of entrepreneurship education on the relationship between career decision self-efficacy and career preparation behavior and entrepreneurial career intention. Empirical study was conducted using survey questionnaires for university students and analyzed employing structural equation modelling techniques. The result of this study showed that career decision self-efficacy was positively related to entrepreneurial career intention on entrepreneurship education group. and the impact career decision self-efficacy on the career preparation behavior showed a positive effect on both groups whether entrepreneurship education group. and Career Preparation Behavior influence on the degree of entrepreneurial experience were more positive impact on entrepreneurship education groups. The mediating effect of career preparation behavior was significant on the relationship between tie strength of career decision self-efficacy and entrepreneurial career intention. the theoretical and practical implications of the findings were discussed and the directions for future research were suggested.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of personal characteristics and social entrepreneurship on social entrepreneurship intention, and to determine whether the moderating effect of gender influences on the relationship between personal characteristics and social entrepreneurship. In order to achieve these research objectives, the personal characteristics affecting social entrepreneurship were identified with moral obligation, self-efficacy, and emotional intelligence. Also, prior studies on social entrepreneurship and social enterprise entrepreneurship intention were reviewed. As a result of the study, we find that moral obligation, self-efficacy, and emotional intelligence all had a positive effect on social entrepreneurship. Second, social entrepreneurship had a positive effect on social enterprise entrepreneurship intentions. Third, analyzing the moderating effect of men and women in the relationship between personal characteristics and social entrepreneurship, it was found that there was a difference in the value of the path coefficient representing the relationship between moral obligation and social entrepreneurship. However, there was no moderating effect in the relationship between self-efficacy, emotional intelligence, and social entrepreneurship by gender. Therefore, this study is expected to serve as a reference for people who want to start a social enterprise in the future to verify their characteristics and use them as a way to improve their social entrepreneurship.

  • In this paper, the purpose of this study was to analyze various information related to the government's youth entrepreneurship support policy, propose a customized entrepreneurship promotion strategy for college students majoring in sports, and increase their entrepreneurship efficacy. Through this, the aim was to increase the entrepreneurship efficacy of sports majors. Firstly, a literature study was conducted, and secondly, alternatives for promoting entrepreneurship among college students majoring in sports were analyzed based on expert interviews. Therefore, the following suggestions were made. 1. Recognizing the added value and individuality of the sports field in startup policy. 2. Creation of a start-up network and platform for sports majors to start a business. 3. Sports start-up space composition. 4. Organizing and supporting start-up clubs. 5. Activating entrepreneurship education and competitions in capstone design and employment seminar subjects. 6. Increasing start-up efficacy through start-up mentoring.

  • The mission of the university is to grow young people who will be responsible for the next generation nation to mature society. In particular, the role of universities in the 4th Industrial Revolution era is to foster creative talents. Therefore, innovative changes are required for existing infusion education and employment-oriented college education contents and teaching methodology. In the high youth unemployment rate, entrepreneurship education is spreading to universities to innovate existing organizations and create new jobs. Until now, however, the effects of university entrepreneurship education have been studied mainly in the field of start-up. Therefore, it is very difficult to study various effects on entrepreneurship education. In this study, empirical analysis of the effect of entrepreneurship training on career preparation behaviors of university students who are about to enter the society is verified. The sample of this study was surveyed from August, 2016, and the questionnaire was applied to 393 university students who selected 5 universities and entrepreneurship education. As a result of the analysis, the ability of communicative communication and creative problem solving cultivated through entrepreneurship education had a positive effect on entrepreneurship and self - efficacy, Entrepreneurship and self - efficacy had a positive (+) positive effect on career preparation behavior. However, cooperative communication ability, creative problem solving ability, and effective work behavior ability by entrepreneurship education were not directly related to career preparation behavior. On the other hand, in verifying the mediating effect of entrepreneurship and self - efficacy, it proved that mediating role of positive communication between collaborative communication ability, creative problem solving ability and career preparation behavior. The implications of this study are as follows This study examines the effects of university entrepreneurship education on career preparedness behaviors.In other words, the university proved the direct effect and the mediating effect that affects positively (+) effect on career preparation behaviors by encouraging entrepreneurship and self - efficacy, rather than quantitative extension based on competency. Also, the implication of the parameters (entrepreneurship, self - efficacy) as a key variable for the effect and performance of career preparation behavior was derived.It also suggests that it is necessary to improve the creativity ability of entrepreneurship education so that it can have a direct and meaningful influence on career preparation behavior. First of all, it is urgent to develop a qualitative evaluation index for entrepreneurship education in order to measure these effects. Therefore, further study is required to verify the various implications for future entrepreneurship education, as well as the implications that entrepreneurship education is indispensable for the preparation of university students' careers.

Self-Efficacy as Moderator in Entrepreneurship Education and Entrepreneurial Intention: Comparison between Korean and Chinese University Students (한·중 대학생들의 자기효능감 조절효과분석: 기업가정신교육과 창업의도 관계에서)

  • Understanding key factors that affect entrepreneurial intention of university students is important to establish effective pedagogy for educating potential entrepreneurs. This cross-cultural study examines the direct effects of entrepreneurship education and self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intention of university students, and further examined how self-efficacy interacts with an entrepreneurship education in promoting entrepreneurial intention of Korean and Chinese university students. Empirical findings of this study suggest that entrepreneurship education and self-efficacy affect significantly entrepreneurial intention of university students in both countries. The proposed moderation effect of self-efficacy was supported for Korea but not China. The implications of the study were discussed and presented in terms of theoretical and practical aspects.
