Purpose - This study intends to analyze Chinese consumers' purchase intention of Korean automobile. The aims of this study investigated to find out how product attributes and brand image affect the consumer's purchase intention of Korean automobiles in China. We consider the product attributes, brand image as evaluation criteria, also recognized as objectives for purchase intention. This study aims to analyze the positive effects on Chinese consumers' purchase intention with the variables by using the research model. Research design, data, and methodology - Based on theory of Purchase Intention, the concept of purchase intention was assessed by two factors: a) product attributes, and b) brand image to test the proposed hypotheses. The survey was conducted for 30 days, from October 17 to November 16 in 2018. With IBM SPSS Statistics 23.0 and IBM SPSS AMOS 23.0, factor analysis and regression, Cronbach's alpha and correlation were tested. 300 samples were used for this analysis. Results - As a main result, product attributes and brand image exerted significant effects on consumer's purchase intention. Thus,
and
were supported. The results showed that the product attributes, brand image had positive effects on purchase intention. The findings of this thesis are as follows: Firstly, automobiles' quality factors were divided into two categories like product properties (price, performance, design, economy, and safety), and brand image (awareness, favorability, reliability, and familiarity). Second, it showed that product properties and brand image had positive impacts on purchase intention of consumer. Conclusions - The impact of product attributes and brand image on consumer perceived value of Korean automobiles in China can be seen as a universal psychology of consumers who trust automobile products such as high quality, technology, ets. The results offer some insights into the extended model and have important managerial implications for Korean automobile enterprise. As the findings of this thesis show, all strategic orientations have significant and positive effects on the ability of innovation. At the same time, automobile company must pay attention to quality. As the relationship between the automobiles' performance and brand image were positive and significant, automobile companies should have comprehensive strategic orientations focused on strengthening these factors.
With the rapid growth of the internet, electronic commerce has become accepted as one of the major purchasing channels for consumers. As more and more consumers search for and purchase products through the internet, intra-industry competition of electronic commerce has become fierce. Therefore, electronic commerce service providers pay attention to factors that prevent existing customers from leaving there services in the service failure situation. In this regard, electronic commerce service providers should make service recovery efforts for consumer recovery satisfaction after service failure. In this study, we suggest that procedural justice, interactional justice, distributive justice and authenticity have positive impacts on recovery satisfaction. In addition, we also propose that involvement plays moderating roles in the relationships between procedural justice, interactional justice, distributive justice, authenticity and recovery satisfaction. We collected empirical data for this study over a period of two weeks from subjects who had service failure recovery experiences through electronic commerce. A total of 224 complete and valid responses were obtained. We carried out data analysis using a two-step methodology with SPSS 20.0 and SmartPLS 2.0. The first step in the data analysis was to establish the internal consistency, convergent validity, discriminant validity of the constructs. In the second step, we examined the structural model. The empirical results support the proposed model and partly identify the moderating effect of involvement differences. The moderate effect results show that procedural justice, distributive justice and authenticity have different impacts on recovery satisfaction in two groups. Cognitive factor such as the procedural justice and distributive justice have stronger impacts on recovery satisfaction in the high-involvement goods than in the low-involvement goods, while emotional factor such as authenticity has a stronger impact on recovery satisfaction in the low-involvement goods than in the high-involvement goods. We expect that this result will provide researchers and managers who are interested in electronic commerce service failure recovery with useful theoretical and practical implications.
The online shopping environment has radically changed consumer shopping behavior. Without the actual physical shopping experience in a brick-and-mortar store, consumers make purchasing decisions over the Internet. They make an effort to obtain product information not only from online merchants, but also from previous purchasers in order to make an informed decision. Accordingly, customer comments are expected to have a significant impact on decisions to purchase goods and services online. This paper focuses on one type of electronic word-of-mouth, the online consumer review. It derives several motivations why customers post product reviews on shopping mall sites. Customer motives were identified through an in depth one-on-one interview with twenty female respondents conducted twice from June $17^{th}$ to September $11^{th}$, 2009. The interviews lasted between 40 and 60 minutes. The results showed that consumers write product reviews based on six motivations: to receive a reward or remuneration for writing a product review, to share information with other customers, to improve the quality of goods and services, to reduce customer dissatisfaction, to recommend products and services, and to derive pleasure.
After its inception in 1994, the Journal of the Microelectronics and Packaging Society has continued to make significant strides in the number and quality of publications within its field. The interest in the microelectronics and packaging research has become more critical as consumer electronic products continue its increasing trend towards thinner and lighter devices that tests the boundaries of electronic devices. This study utilizes social network analysis of all published literature in the Journal for the past 22 years. Using the keywords and abstracts available within each individual article, the publications within the Journal has focused on major topics covering (1) flip chip, (2) reliability, (3) Cu, (4) IMC (intermetallic compounds), and (5) thin film. Using the social network relationship between keywords within articles, flip chip was closely associated with reliability, BGA (ball grid array), contact resistance, electromigration in many of the published research works within the Journal. From the centrality analysis, it was found that flip chip, reliability, Cu, thin film, IMC, and RF (radio frequency) to have a high degree of centrality suggesting these key areas of research have relatively high connectivity with other research topics within the Journal and is central to many of the research fields within the micro-electronics and packaging area. The cohesiveness analysis showed research clustering of five major cohesive sub-groups and was mapped to better understand the major area of research within this field. Research within the field of micro-electronics and packaging converges many disciplines of science and engineering. The continued evolution within this field requires an understanding of the rapidly changing industry environment and the consumer needs.
The functional behavior of a portable consumer electronic (PCE) product is nearly all expressed with human-machine interaction (HMI) tasks. Although physical prototyping and computer aided design (CAD) software can show the appearance of the product, they cannot properly reflect its functional behavior. In this paper, we propose a virtual prototyping (VP) system that incorporates virtual reality and HMI functional simulation in order to enables users to capture not only the realistic look of a PCE product but also its functional behavior. We obtain geometric part models of the product and their assembly and kinematics information with the help of CAD and reverse engineering tools, and visualize them with various display tools. We adopt state transition methodology to capture the HMI functional behavior of the product into a state transition chart, which is later used to construct a finite state machine (FSM) for the functional simulation of the product. The FSM plays an important role to control the transition between states of the product. The proposed VP system receives input events such as mouse clicks on buttons and switches of the virtual prototype model, and it reacts to the events based on the FSM by activating associated activities. The VP system provides the realistic visualization of the product and the vivid simulation of its functional behavior. It can easily allow users to perform functional evaluation and usability testing. Moreover, it can greatly reduce communication errors occurring in a typical product development process. A case study about VP of an MP3 player is given to show the usefulness of the proposed VP system.
Interest in and use of social media as a communication channel are consistently evolving; in addition therefore, corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities have been often conducted on online channels such as social media due to the advantages offered by the rapid spread of information. Consumers can be persuaded differently and their cognition can be influenced depending on who delivers what message. This study examines the influence of information source characteristics on eWOM acceptance of CSR messages and attitudes toward a company. This study compares cases: when a company sends their CSR message versus when an individual (i.e., consumer's acquaintance) sends the company's CSR message. A total of 320 respondents were presented with online stimuli and responded to the questionnaire to identify this phenomenon. Vegan fashion (which refers to products made from raw materials without animal cruelty) was used as stimuli in this study because it is a representative example of CSR activities. As a result, when consumers are exposed to CSR messages online, perceived expertise, trustworthiness and attractiveness of information source affect consumer's electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM) acceptance and attitude toward a company. However, only trustworthiness influences eWOM acceptance in cases of a corporation information source. This study confirms the differences in eWOM acceptance and in attitudes to the company depending on to whom the messages were sent and with what content.

Web information systems have been utilized extensively over the past decade. The Internet allows for the entire sales cycle to be conducted on one medium, nearly instantaneously. From making the consumer aware of the product to providing additional information to transacting the final purchase, the Internet can accomplish them all. The Internet is like one big point-of-sales display, with easy access to products and the ability for impulse shopping. Here, we point out different aspects of information technology (IT) in marketing. Consequently, we propose two frameworks as decision aids in web-based marketing environment.
Nanotechnology is now applied to many industries, resulting in wide range of nanomaterial-containing products, such as electronic components, cosmetic, medicines, vehicles, and home appliances. Nanoparticles can be released throughout the life cycle of nanoproducts, including the manufacture, consumer use, and disposal, thereby involving workers, consumers, and the environment in potential exposure. However, there is no current consensus on the best sampling method for characterizing manufactured-nanoparticle exposure. Therefore, this report aims to provide a standard method for assessing nanoparticle exposure, including the identification of nanoparticle emission, the assessment of worker exposure, and the evaluation of exposure mitigation actions in nanomaterial-handling workplaces or research institutes.
