  • Most of domains people have studied are convex bounded projective (or affine) domains. Edith $Soci{\acute{e}}$-$M{\acute{e}}thou$ [15] characterized ellipsoid in ${\mathbb{R}}^n$ by studying projective automorphism of convex body. In this paper, we showed convex and bounded projective domains can be identified from local data of their boundary points using scaling technique developed by several mathematicians. It can be found that how the scaling technique combined with properties of projective transformations is used to do that for a projective domain given local data around singular boundary point. Furthermore, we identify even unbounded or non-convex projective domains from its local data about a boundary point.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the teachers' perception of the 7th curriculum implementation. The subjects were 540 elementary school teachers. Investigation was conducted with questionaires which have 40 questions in 4 domains about the 7th curriculum. The results of the study were as follows: First, teachers' perception level of curriculum implementation was mechanical use(level 3). Second, in the comparison of level by implementing domains, the domains of the essential, ideology, educational objectives and evaluation were lower than the domains of educational contents, teaching methods and materials. Third, in the comparison of teachers' personal characterristics, there was no difference between male and female in all domains. But, by teaching career, experienced teachers were higher level in all domains. Also by length of in-service training with the 7th curriculum, when they have longer in-service training, they showed a higher level of curriculum implementation.

  • We show that $\mathbb{Z}[\sqrt{-p}]$ is not a unique factorization domain (UFD) but a factorization domain (FD) with a condition $1\;+\;a^2p\;=\;qr$, where a and p are positive integers and q and r are positive primes in $\mathbb{Z}$ with q < p. Using this result, we also construct several specific non-unique factorization domains which are factorization domains. Furthermore, we prove that an integral domain $\mathbb{Z}[\sqrt{-p}]$ is not a UFD but a FD for some positive integer p.

  • A result of Hardy and Littlewood relates Holder continuity of analytic functions in the unit disk with a bound on the derivative. Gehring and Martio extended this result to the class of uniform domains. In this paper we obtain a similar result to the class of uniformly John domains in terms of the inner diameter metric. We give several properties of a domain with the property. Also we show some results on the Holder continuity of conjugate harmonic functions in the above domains.

  • For the numerical simulation of wave phenomena either in unbounded domains that it is not feasible to compute solutions on the entire region, it is needed to truncate the original domains to manageable bounded domains whose geometries are simple but usually nonsmooth. On the artificial boundaries thus created, absorbing boundary conditions are taken so that the significant part of waves arriving at the artificial boundaries can be transmitted [5,10,11,16,17,26]$.

  • Let A ⊆ B be an extension of integral domains with characteristic zero. Let H(A, B) and h(A, B) be rings of composite Hurwitz series and composite Hurwitz polynomials, respectively. We simply call H(A, B) and h(A, B) composite Hurwitz rings of A and B. In this paper, we study when H(A, B) and h(A, B) are unique factorization domains (resp., GCD-domains, finite factorization domains, bounded factorization domains).

  • The automorphism group of domains is main stream of classification problem coming from E. Cartan's work. In this paper, I introduce classical technique of computations of automorphism group of domains and recent development of automorphism group. Moreover, I suggest new research problems in computations of automorphism group.

  • Purpose: We aimed to develop domains for the resilience improvement of unmarried mothers to prevent child abuse based on a nursing model of resilience. Methods: We conducted a literature review and in-depth interviews with unmarried mothers. Results: Based on Polk's nursing model of resilience, we derived 4 patterns, 10 domains, and 24 sub-domains for improving the resilience of unmarried mothers. Philosophical pattern includes the domain of parenthood preparation and dispositional pattern includes the domains of emotional support, control of emotions, and child abuse awareness correction. Situational pattern includes the domains of maternal health promotion, understanding of child development and improvement of parenting skills, and assessment of the domestic environment and modification of risk factors. Relational pattern includes the domains of enhancement of mother-infant attachment, family support, and social support. Conclusion: We identified domains for enhancing resilience based on the situational and personal characteristics of unmarried mothers. The results of this study may contribute to child abuse precention by promoting the resilience of unmarried mothers.
