  • In this paper, an advanced torque control scheme of SRM using DITC(Direct Instantaneous Torque Control) and PWM(pulse width modulation) is presented. Different from conventional DITC method, proposed method uses one or two switching modes at every sampling time, instead of only one switching mode. The duty ratio of the phase switch is regulated according to the torque error and simple control rules of DITC. Moreover the sampling time of control can be extended, which allows implementation on low cost microcontrollers. The proposed control method is verified by the simulations and experimental results.

직접샘플링에 의한 비대칭 분무의 토모그래피 재구성 (Tomographic reconstruction of Asymmetric Spray by Direct Sampling Method)

  • Convolution Fourier transformation tomographically reconstructs the spatially resolved spray injection rate from direct measuring cells. Asymmetric sprays generated from a twin-hole air shroud injector are tested with 12 equiangular projections of measurements. For each projection angle, line of sight integrated injection rate was measured at 35 positions with equal spacing measuring cells of 3 mm in width, 100 mm in length, 55 mm in depth and 0.5 mm thickness of separating wall. Interpolated data between the projection angles effectively increase the number of projections, which significantly enhances the signal-to-noise level in the reconstructed data. This modified convolution Fourier transformation scheme predicts well the structure of asymmetric sprays. Comparative study has been made between sprays with and without air shrouding. Tomograhpic reconstruction of injection rate from direct measuring cells obtained can be used to estimate the accuracy of volume fraction of spray from the LDPA tomographic reconstruction.

화산가스의 채취 및 분석에 대한 기술보고 (A Technical Note on Monitoring Methods for Volcanic Gases)

  • 화산가스의 측정법은 크게 원격 측정법과 직접 채취법이 있다. 원격 측정법에서 COSPEC는 $SO_2$를, Li-COR는 $CO_2$를, FT-IR는 다양한 화산가스를 측정한다. 하지만 주변 수계의 영향으로 백두산의 화산가스 농도가 낮아 원격 측정법에 의한 화산가스의 분석은 불가능하다. 대신 직접 채취법은 화산체에서 분출하는 화산가스를 직접 채취해 분석하는 방법으로 화산가스의 농도가 낮은 백두산에 적용할 수 있다. 직접 채취법은 포집방법에 따라서 진공병법과 관류병법이 있으며, 포집용액에 따라 Giggenbach method, $NH_4OH$ method, acid condensate method로 나뉜다. 직접 채취법에 의해 얻은 시료는 전처리 과정을 거친 후 포집용액과 화산가스의 종류에 따라서 GC, IC, HPLC, 적정법, TOC-IC, ICP-MS 등을 이용해 분석한다. 최근 들어 백두산이 가까운 장래에 다시 분출할 것이라는 징후가 속속 보고되고 있다. 하지만, 현재 우리나라는 화산가스의 채취 및 분석법이 확립되지 않은 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 지금까지 보고된 다양한 화산가스의 측정법을 검토하고, 이들 중 백두산 화산가스의 측정에 활용 가능한 기법을 상술했다.

  • 차세대 통신기술인 Software-Defined Radio (SDR)시스템은 단일 하드웨어 플랫폼에 소프트웨어 변경만으로 다양한 통신표준을 수용할 수 있는 시스템이다. 시스템의 융통성(flexibility)과 적응성(adaptability)을 위하여 RF와 관련된 하드웨어의 최소화가 필요하며, 이를 위해 ADC를 사용으로 기저대역(baseband) 또는 낮은 IF단으로 직접하향 변환(downconversion)을 할 수 있는 bandpass sampling 기법이 필수적이다. 이 논문에서는 complex bandpass sampling 방식을 이용하여 두 가지의 통신 표준이 한 시스템에서 동시에 직접 하향 변환하는 새로운 방법을 제안하였다. 이에 따른 sampling 가능 영역, 보호대역(guard-band)을 고려한 sampling 가능 최소 주파수 그리고 이동된 신호의 위치를 구하는 수식들을 유도한 뒤 그래프를 통해 비교 분석하였다. 또한 제안한 sampling방식이 모의실험을 통해 기존에 제안되었던 real bandpass sampling방식보다 SDR시스템에 더욱 적합하다는 것을 입증하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 민감한 모집단에 대한 자료수집 방법으로 직접 질문 방법 인 Black-Box 방법과 간접 질문 방법인 확률화응답기법(RRT)의 결합적 방법을 제시하였고, 층화이중추출방법을 이용하여 모수를 추정하였다. 또한, 주어진 추정량의 효율성을 Mangat과 Singh 추정량과 비교 분석하였다.

주조 포오스트의 적합도에 관한 연구 (A STUDY ON THE ADAPTATION OF THE CAST POST)

  • An in vitro study was performed to evaluate adaptation of custom direct, custom indirect, and prefabricated post system on 15 extracted upper central incisors. 15 specimens were prepared and equally devided into 3 groups under random sampling. Each group of 5 cast posts was made with custom direct, custom indirect, and prefabricated post core method. Gap between inner wall of the dentin and outer wall of the cast post was measured on electron microphotographic prints at x500 magnification. The result were as follows ; 1. No significant difference of adaptation at cervical portion was found between each method. 2. Prefabricated post core method had poor adaptation compared with other methods. 3. Even distribution of adaptation was found in custom direct method between each portion. 4. Prefabricated post core method showed remarkable difference in adaptation between each portion.

A Searching Algorithm for Minimum Bandpass Sampling Frequency in Simultaneous Down-Conversion of Multiple RF Signals

  • Bandpass sampling (BPS) techniques for the direct down-conversion of RF bandpass signals have become an essential technique for software defined radio (SDR), due to their advantage of minimizing the radio frequency (RF) front-end hardware dependency. This paper proposes an algorithm for finding the minimum BPS frequency for simultaneously down-converting multiple RF signals through full permutation over all the valid sampling ranges found for the multiple RF signals. We also present a scheme for reducing the computational complexity resulting from the large scale of the purmutation calculation involved in searching for the minimum BPS frequency. In addition, we investigate the BPS frequency allowing for the guard-band between adajacent down-converted signals, which help lessen the severe requirements in practical implementations. The performance of the proposed method is compared with those of other pre-reported methods to prove its effectiveness.

발전소 고온부의 수명 평가를 위한 소형 시편용 크리프 시험기의 개발 (Development of Small-Specimen Creep Tester for Life Assessment of High Temperature Components of Power Plant)

  • The most effective means of evaluating remaining life is through the creep testing of samples removed from the component. But sampling of large specimen from in-service component is actually impossible. So, sampling device and small-specimen creep tester have been applied. Sampling device has been devised to extract mechanically small samples by hemispherical, diamond -coated cutter from the surface of turbine rotor bores and thick-walled pipes without subsequent weld repairs requiring post weld heat treatment. A method of manufacturing small creep specimen, 2min gage diameter and 10min gage length, using electron beam welding to attach grip section, has been proven. Small-specimen creep tester has been designed to control atmosphere to prevent stress increment by oxidation during experiment. To determine whether the small specimens successfully reproduce the behavior of large specimens, creep rupture tests for small and large specimens have been performed at identical conditions. Creep rupture times based on small specimens have closely agreed within 5% error compared with that of large specimen. The errors in rupture time have decreased at longer test period. This comparison validates the procedure for fabricating and testing on small specimen. This technique offers potential as an efficient method for remaining life assessment by direct sampling from in -service high temperature components.

등고선 간격과 수직 방향 특징선을 이용한 RP파트의 Adaptive 단면화 방법 (An Adaptive Slicing Method Using both Contour Lines and Vertical Character Lines)

  • Several adaptive and direct slicing methods have been developed to make the slice data for RP parts with better accuracy and speed. This research deals with a new adaptive slicing algorithm that shows drastic improvement in computing time for calculating the slices of a part. First, it uses less number of sampling points fur each slice in determining the thickness of the next slice. Secondly, the idea of contour map is utilized to determine the optimal sampling point on each slice. Thirdly, the calculation efficiency is further improved by introducing vertical character lines of the given part. The results in terms of accuracy and speed are compared with the existing methods.
