유치원 교육과정과 초등학교 국어과 연계성 탐구 (Analysis of Articulation between Kindergarten Curriculum and Subject of Korean Language in Elementary School)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the articulation between kindergarten curriculum and subject of Korean language in an elementary school. Analysis was conducted with following findings. Firstly, out of 696 activities related with elementary school curriculum, those related with Korean language marked the highest number with 281. Secondly, as for articulation between subject of Korean language and themes of kindergarten life, environment and life marked highest with 173, Thirdly, in the area of kindergarten life, listening/speaking marked top with 173, followed by literature 87. Based on this findings, we are able to grasp present state of articulation between Nuri course guide book for five-year old kindergarten children and subject of Korean language in an elementary school and further would like to utilize it as basic data to boost articulation between curriculums of kindergarten and an elementary school.

An Analysis of The Kindergarten-elementary School Transition Policy from The New Perspective of "Bidirectional Articulation"

  • In March 2021, the <Guidance on Promoting the Scientific Interface between Kindergarten and Elementary School> issued by the Ministry of Education of China clearly pointed out that it is necessary to adhere to child oriented. This goal of this policy is based on the idea of "living education" proposed by Mr. Heqin Chen in 1940, which indicates that a true understanding of children is necessary before talking about educating them. The core goal of "bidirectional articulation" is to strengthen the sense of articulation between kindergartens and elementary school, scientifically prepare for and adapt to school enrollment, and promote the smooth transition of children. Moreover, the <Guidance Points for Kindergarten Readiness Education> and the <Guidance Points for Elementary School Adaptation Education>, which were released at the same time as the <Guidance on Promoting the Scientific Interface between Kindergarten and Elementary School>, also place special emphasis on the cultivation of children's life preparation and adaptability. The aim of the bidirectional articulation "bridging" is to realize a two-way exchange of curriculum between kindergarten and elementary school, and to reform the curriculum at three levels through the curriculum spirit of "gamification", the continuous curriculum structure, and the developmental curriculum evaluation.

  • 본 연구에서는 2015개정교육과정에서 '경제수학'으로 이동한 '부등식의 영역(inequalities as regions)' 단원과 미적분학 사이의 연계성 및 수학적 연결성을 분석하여 '부등식의 영역'이 미적분학의 중요한 선수학습개념이라는 논지를 제시한다. 교육과정의 연계성 측면에서 직업 교과에 포함된 '경제수학'을 학습하지 않고 이공계에 진학하는 학생들은 '부등식의 영역'의 절차적 개념적 지식의 부재로 인하여 미적분학에서 학습 위계의 '격차'를 경험할 가능성이 크다. 수학적 연결성의 관점에서는 '부등식의 영역'과 밀접한 연관이 있는 미적분학의 다변수함수 이론의 학습에 어려움을 느낄 수 있다고 판단된다.

과학과 교육과정의 연계성 국제 비교: 광합성 개념 중심으로 (International Comparison Study on the Articulation of the Science Curriculum: Focus on the Concept of Photosynthesis)

  • 우리나라 교육과정은 2007 개정 및 2009 개정 교육과정을 통해 미래사회가 요구하는 인재 양성을 목적으로 개선되고 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위한 개정 방향은 질 높은 교육과정을 위해 연계성 강화에 초점을 두었다. 교육과정에서 연계성은 미래 사회를 대비하기 위한 교육과정의 설계 기준으로 고려해야 할 요소이다. 연계성에는 계속성 및 계열성을 포함하는 종적 연계성과 통합성에 관한 횡적 연계성이 있다. 계속성과 계열성은 교과 내용이 반복되고 지속되는 위계를 의미하며, 통합성은 교과 간 내용의 수준, 범위, 관련성을 말한다. 이번 연구에서는 연계성을 분석하기 위한 기준을 세워 우리나라 과학과 교육과정의 연계성을 종적 및 횡적으로 분석하였다. 또한 과학교육의 성취 수준이 높고 체계적인 교육과정을 갖춘 국가(영국, 캐나다, 미국, 핀란드, 싱가포르, 대만)들을 대상으로 한 국제 비교를 통해 우리나라 교육과정의 문제점을 발견하고 개선 방안을 모색하였다. 그리고 생명과학 광합성 개념의 연계성을 국제 비교 함으로써 우리나라 과학과 교육과정에서 필요한 연계성 강화 근거를 도출하였다. 연구 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우리나라 과학과 교육과정은 종적 연계성에 초점을 두고 있으며 상대적으로 횡적 연계성에 소홀하다는 문제점이 발견되었다. 이를 보완하기 위해 횡적 연계성이 높은 영국, 미국, 핀란드와 같이 '자연', '환경'과 같은 관점을 도입하고 학생의 흥미와 관심을 고려한다. 둘째, 실제 교육 현장에서 개념의 단순 반복 또는 개념의 특정 학년에 집중으로 계속성과 계열성이 결여되어 있었다. 그 대안으로 Big Idea와 같은 내용 체계나 개념 구성의 기준을 마련하고 캐나다, 미국, 싱가포르의 교육과정에서 자주 등장하는 '시스템'의 관점 도입을 제안한다. 마지막으로 횡적 및 종적 연계성의 공통 기준으로서 교육과정의 교육 내용이 학생들의 발달이나 수준에 적절한지 확인할 수 있는 근거가 부족하였다. 개념 위계와 교육 순서를 제시하는 근거로 최근 해외에서 학생의 학습발달과정 연구가 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 우리나라 교육 현장에 적용이 가능한 학습발달과정에 대한 연구가 필요하며 그에 따라 교육과정을 개발하여야 할 것이다.

유치원과 초등 1학년 아동의 수학 교육 연계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Articulation between Kindergarten and 1st Grade in Mathematics Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the articulation between the kindergarten and 1st grade in mathematics education. for this purpose, the problems of this study selected as follows :(ⅰ) What is the mathematical concepts related between the kindergarten curriculum and the 1st grade curriculum\ulcorner (ⅱ) How is the mathematics classroom in the kindergarten and 1st grade\ulcorner (ⅲ) Which instructional materials are used in the kindergarten and the 1st grade\ulcorner (ⅳ) What is the new direction of articulation between the kindergarten and first grade in mathematics education\ulcorner The results of this study are as follows : (ⅰ) According to examining each curriculum the focus is on understanding the basic concepts of number in the kindergarten, on the concepts of number, addition and subtraction in the 1st grade. (ⅱ) By being analyzed the mathematics classrooms of the kindergarten and the 1 st grade, it is different the focus of lessons or the teaching strategies. (ⅲ) As a result of analysing the teaching plans in the kindergarten and the survey in the first grade teachers, used instructional materials are manipulative ones. While mainly used materials are puzzles and blocks in kindergarten, a paduk stone, number cards, sankagi are used in 1st grade. (ⅳ) Finally, we propose the direction of articulation between the kindergarten and 1st grade in mathematics education.

초.중.고 수학교과서 해석영역의 연계성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Articulation of the Analysis part in Elementary, Middle and High School Mathematics Textbooks)

  • Mathematics education is very important in future because mathematics is the basis of every study, for example, natural and social science, etc. Our nation wide curriculum has been revised six times since 1948. In 1992, the sixth revision was enforced and we are using the revised textbook now. This study aims at helping of continuous investigation for educational curriculum and textbook, and aims at efficient teaching by preventing unnecessary repetition and excessive gap in real field by analyzing the articulation of Analytics part in school textbook from elementary to high school. This thesis consists of the followings. 1.Investigation of the principles and natures of articulation along with curriculum course and notice the articulation based on the analysing tools. 2.Importance of learning functions. 3.To get the propriety, formation of 8 judging group and classification of content materials in function chapters by the judges based on the analyzing tools. 4.Analysis of presentation method and terminologies in the first concepts, suggestion teaching method to reduce gap and help of understanding on first concepts in the study of function. As a result 'development' consists of 55.8% of the total and it is higher than 'duplication' and 'gap'. To be specific in periods, between elementary school and middle school 'development' takes 64.5% and this shows an acceptable articulation in the period. While 39.4% of 'gap' in articulation between middle school and high school looks high compared with 'gap' between the previous periods. The item suggested with the 'gap' is the 'definition of function', 'value of function', 'parallel translation', 'exponential and logarithmic function'. It is observed that these materials is suddenly appeared in high school.

유·초 연계교육에 대한 교사와 학부모의 신념, 지식 및 실제 간의 차이 (Educational Articulation Between Kindergarten and Primary School : Perceptions of Teachers and Mothers)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate whether there are any differences among kindergarten teachers', primary school teachers', and children's mothers's perceptions-belief, knowledge, practice-about the educational articulation between kindergarten and primary school. The results of this study were as follows; First, there were differences among kindergarten teachers, primary school teachers, and mothers about the belief of articulation content. Second, in the knowledge of educational articulation, kindergarten teachers's understandings of the counterpart's curriculum were higher than that of primary school teachers's. Third, in the practice of educational articulation, kindergarten teachers and mothers were focused language and mathematics learning for educational articulation. But primary school teachers were focused school adjustment.

국가 수준 과학과 교육과정의 입자 관련 내용 국제 비교 (International Comparison of Contents about Particle Concept in National Science Curricula)

  • The purpose of this study was to find some suggestions for reorganization of contents about particle concept of matter in Korean science curriculum. For the purpose of this study, authors analyzed features of Korean science curriculum and compared science curricula of Korea, USA, UK, Japan and Finland. From the result of this study, authors find some features and important suggestions about reorganization of contents about particle in science curriculum. First, the sequence of contents about particle concepts in 2009 Revised National Curriculum was similar to that in the 6th National Science Curriculum. And the feature of 2009 Revised National Curriculum showed the articulation of contents about particle concept. If contents about particle concept is increased in elementary science curriculum, the total articulation would be increased. Second, the presenting sequence of atomic structure-first and laws about atom-later should be changed to laws about atomic-first and atomic structure-later. This presenting sequence is grounded by science curricula of other countries, history of science and developmental psychology. And science curriculum of Korea was required specific extended concept statement like science curricula of USA or UK. Also, Korean science curriculum could benchmark Finnish science curriculum if we want to develop some integrated learning activities such as those in STS or STEAM program.

유치원, 초등, 중등 과학 교재의 연계성을 위한 탐구능력 분석 -물질의 상태 및 상태 변화 개념을 중심으로 - (An Analysis of Science Process Skills for K-12 Science Curriculum Articulation : Focused on the Concept of the State and the State Change of Matter)

  • 이 연구에서는 물의 상태와 상태 변화를 중심으로 유치원, 초등, 중등 과학 교재의 탐구능력 전개 과정의 연계성을 고찰해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 유치원 제 5차 교육과정 교재들과 제 6차 교육과정에 근거한 초등학교 자연 고과서와 중학교 과학 교과서를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 유아, 초등, 중등 과학 교육과정의 연계성 측면에서 볼 때, 모든 학년에서 예상, 분류, 가설설정, 실험 설계 등의 탐구능력이 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 측정 능력은 이론적으로 초등학교 저학년부터 가질 수 있음에도 불구하고, 고학년 이상에서만 제시되었다.

유치원과 초등학교의 교육과정 연계성 관점에서 본 유치원 교육과정 수준 적합성 연구 - 5세 누리과정과 초등학교 1~2학년군을 중심으로 - (A study on Analysis of Level Relevance for Kindergarten Curriculum in terms of the Kindergarten and Elementary School Curriculum Articulation)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the level relevance of the kindergarten curriculum in terms of the kindergarten and elementary school curriculum articulation. For this purpose, a model was developed to assess the level relevance of the curriculum. Next, the achievement standards of the curriculum were analyzed by using this model. Finally, teachers' guidebooks were analyzed, too. The following results were obtained from the analysis. First, five of the 14 achievement standards are rated as 'relevant', and nine of them were 'irrelevant'. Also, six of the irrelevant achievement standards were rated as 'overlap', two of them were rated as 'retrogression', and one of them was rated as 'gap'. I found a lot of problems with the level relevance in the kindergarten curriculum. As the results to analyze teachers' guidebooks, I found that there were the great frequency difference in the activities of teachers' guidebooks.
