The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the educational philosophy, goal, method, content, and environment of ecologically-oriented alternative elementary schools and suggest several practical methods for alternative education. Both ecologism and alternative education pursue sustainable values. The educational content of ecologically-oriented alternative elementary schools, analyzed from the view of sustainable development, focuses most on the natural resources, biodiversity, and sustainable food production, and also include human rights, peace and security, unification, cultural diversity, and health food in terms of the social sustainability and sustainable production and consumption concerning economic sustainability. This study should help environmental education become establish its possibility and position as alternative education and be recognized of its educational value. Furthermore, based on the cases of ecologically-oriented alternative elementary schools that are becoming 'garden of environmental education' as sustainable development education, it should lead to 'education communicating with environmental education at schools'.

In the midst of rapid cultural and artistic changes with the turn of the century, postmodernism is exerting great influence on the value and trends of arts. many artists are making utmost efforts in order to overcome ambiguity and confusion caused by these changes. Analysis of the works and philosophy of prominent fashion designers provides insight into the influence of postmodernism to the creation of modern arts including fashion. This paper attempts to explore how pluralism, one o the most important features of postmodernism, has given impacted to the modern fashion design. fashion trend and works of Paco Rabanne were reviewed with particular emphasis on pluralistic expressions in his fashion creation. it was found that Paco Rabanne's diversified and innovative use of materials and design methods were possible due to the influence of pluralism. It is anticipated that this trend will e observed in the various forms of arts wit the further analysis of fashion designers and artists.

As Dutch structuralism discovered a possibility that can improve the problem of modem architecture through study on non-western area. Dutch structuralism had tremendous impact on Philosophy, psychology, art history and the style of a dress and many other cultural trend. In architecture, Aldo van Eyck embodied that theory and succeeded to Herman Hertzberger and Piet Blom. As result Structuralism related with architecture has dealt with the participation and domain of residents, namely public domain and private domain, the approach property of public space, middle domain which shows the harmony between public domain and private one, and the structuralism discovered that each element of public space and private space has been developed as an architectural type that makes a group by repetitive arrangement and it found out a possibility that can make up problems overlooked in modem architecture through development and change.

Researches for sex consist feminism which manage academically, also variously in the fields of medicine, psychology, politics, society, philosophy, culture research etc. Moreover, sex has become that can no fall in art, dancing, fashion, literature, play movie, mass media, all art fields. About the proposition of sex, even the intellectuals tended to consider sexual love and bodily problem of sexual desire until the mid-20th century. Nevertheless, passing over physical function, man and woman, society, cultural situation and the various concept which contains the differences finally clearly have come in 21th century. Therefore, on this study, find out the relationship between interior design and sexuality and sexual expressional type. Also, through analyzing aspects which is expressed in popular culture, clear new interior design under the concept and characteristic of sexuality.

The purpose of this study is to study the inner meaning and formative with distorted and atypical Informel image, body image expressed in modern fashion. Method of the study is as follow. The study method examined philosophy of art 19th century?in order to consider interconnections between social and cultural characteristics of expressionistic abstract art, a form of Informel and changed physical style. Based on this method, the Informel image that appeared in the plastic arts in terms of artistic significance and aesthetic value was examined. Based on the above discussion on modern fashion Informel images were expressed in any formative characteristics were considered. The results of this study are as follows. Contingencies through the spontaneous act of art to transcend the image of atypical lines formed elements of coincidence, was developed. Liberation was expressed from liberation of physical boundaries and created outward expansion of the free formative. Atypical was organic forms pursuing spontaneous plasticity and diversity, and appeared in the form of distortion and deformation.

Traditional mathematics education research is based on mathematics and psychology, but its function is limited. In the end of the 1980's, the social research of mathematics education appeared. The research views are from sociology, anthropology, and cultural psychology, and then it is an exterior research. The social research considers the relations, power, situation, context, etc. This paper analyzes the power relationship in mathematics classroom. Firstly, the power is defined. The meaning of the power is the foundation of this paper. Secondly, the power relationships in mathematics classroom are analyzed. The traditional mathematics classroom and collaborative learning classroom are considered. Thirdly, the paper analyzes the power resources and finds the some important factors that affect the power distribution.

The Khitans were a Turco-Mongol clan who dominated China north of the Yangtze River during the early mediaeval period. They adopted and then adapted many of the cultural traditions of their powerful neighbours to the south, the Song Chinese. However, before their absorption into the Mongol Empire in the late 13^th century they proved pivotal, firstly in the eastward expansion of the armies of Chinggis Khan, secondly, in the survival of the Persian heartlands after the Mongol invasions of the 1220s and thirdly, in the revival and integration of the polity of Iran into the Chinggisid Empire. Da Liao, the Khitans, the Qara Khitai, names which have served this clan well, strengthened and invigorated the hosts which harboured them. The Liao willingly assimilated into the Chinggisid Empire of whose formation they had been an integral agent and in doing so they also surrendered their identity but not their history. Recent scholarship is now unearthing and recognising their proud legacy and distinct identity. Michal Biran placed the Khitans irrevocably and centrally in mediaeval Asian history and this study emphasises their role in the establishment of the Mongol Empire.

최근 우리나라의 ‘웰빙’ 현상이 상품화된 웰빙의 유사 이데올로기라는 점에서는 논의의 여지가 없다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 웰빙철학의 기저에서 낚아 올릴 수 있는 한국 디자인의 문화적 컨텐츠로서의 잠재적 가치마저 간과할 필요는 없을 것이다. ‘행복’과 ‘안녕’이라는 사전적 의미를 넘어 웰빙은 마음의 평안과 정신적 풍요로움을 지향함으로써 ‘심신일원론’적 라이프 스타일을 옹호하고 있다. 소비주의에 편승한 유행으로서의 웰빙의 상품미학을 한국의 문화적 정체성을 보유한 대안 담론으로 승화시켜 우리나라 디자인 컨텐츠의 고유모델로 자리매김하기 위해서는 웰빙이라는 보편적 기호가 담지하고 있는 양질의 문화적 가치에 대한 발굴이 요청된다. ‘자연의 도’를 따르는 생활태도와 다름 아닌 웰빙은 동아시아의 탈-이원론적 사유방식의 전형인 것이다. 동아시아의 일원론적 사상과 조형의식 속에 이미 자리하고 있는 웰빙의 흔적을 역으로 추적함으로써 작금의 웰빙 현상과 심신일원론을 연결하는 계보를 좁게는 한국, 넓게는 동아시아의 문화적 전통 속에서 발견할 수 있다. 몸과 마음이 본디 둘이 아니라 하나라는 동아시아의 일원론적 사유체계를 서구로부터 수입된 웰빙 현상의 이론적 모태로 삼을 경우, 한국의 디자인 담론이 탈-식민화 되는 단초가 마련될 전망이다. 서구 중심의 이원론적 패러다임에 대한 반성을 토대로 새로운 가치를 모색해야 하는 성찰적 근대화의 시대에 일원론적 인식에 기반하는 웰빙이 국내외 디자인계에 던져줄 잠재적 의미성에 기대를 걸어볼 일이다.

본 연구는 인터넷 영역에서 개인의 윤리적 의사결정에 대한 국가문화의 영향을 분석하였다. 본 연구를 위하여 다섯 개의 도덕철학 변수들인 정의주의, 상대주의, 이기주의, 공리주의, 그리고 의무론이 개인의 윤리적 판단에 영향을 미치며, 이 윤리적 판단은 행위의도에 영향을 미친다는 윤리적 의사결정 모형이 제시되었고, 이 윤리적 의사결정 모형에 대하여 홉스테드의 다섯 가지의 국가문화 차원들인 권력격차, 개인주의, 남성성, 불확실성 회피, 그리고 장기 지향성의 영향을 분석하였다. 연구결과 인터넷 영역에서 권력격차, 개인주의, 그리고 남성성은 의무론과 윤리적 판단 간의 관계에 영향이 있었으며, 개인주의, 남성성, 그리고 불확실성 회피는 정의주의와 윤리적 판단 간의 관계에 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 개인주의와 장기 지향성은 윤리적 판단과 행동의도 간의 관계에 유의한 영향이 있는 것을 보여 주었다.
