The community mixed-support facility is a meeting place of local resident for information change, various basic service and ultimately for activation of community in order to contribute to regeneration and activation of existing urban core. Thus, this study figured out general status of community mixed-support facility and physical mixed type and analyzed spatial characteristics. Current community mixed-support facility has insufficient program and space to participate in by local residents and to accommodate mixed function. The future planned community mixed-support facility must secure multiple opportunities for various types of life by returning time and cost to user through the introduction of creative mixed concept. While reflecting unique local characteristics, and considering diversity of users, it needs to make mixed facility to cope with social changes. This study is limited in that the study reached a conclusion by survey and analysis only. However, it is expected that the result can be used as basic research data for the planning of community mixed-support facility to cope with living conditions of local residents or realistic requirements.

  • This study investigated librarians' awareness of and demand for the librarian learning community in order to successfully introduce and operate the librarian learning community. For this purpose, an online survey was conducted targeting current librarians and a total of 474 responses were collected. The main analysis results are as follows. Firstly, librarians showed a very low awareness of the librarian learning community, while they highly evaluated the purpose and significance of such a community. Secondly, the motivations for librarians to participate in the librarian learning community were primarily focused on professional growth, solidarity with colleagues, and satisfaction of intellectual curiosity, in that order. Thirdly, the ultimate values of the librarian learning community were identified as improving library services, enhancing professionalism, fostering collaborative group exploration, sharing values and visions. Fourthly, the success factors of the librarian-learning community were ranked as follows: member voluntarism, a culture of collaboration among members, dedicated time (once a week), and a supportive environment (budget, space, etc.). On the other hand, the failure factors were identified as a lack of time due to heavy workloads, lack of member voluntarism, indifference from superiors, and insufficient support environment (budget, space, etc.). Finally, the willingness to participate is also very high. Furthermore, it was observed that there is a wide range of interests in various topics among librarians. The results of this study are expected to be useful as basic data for determining practical operation methods or selecting topics when operating a librarian learning community in the future.

Most construction balls are created mainly to spaces for an individuality or a specific community, but a space for public convenience is the situation that will gain gradually. While these public space increases, there is a public toilet to an increasing trend too. Think about Cubic Puzzle that it is one total space, and put one function to each Module. The small-scale Cubic space achieves a lot of changes by any energies, and a small-scale space compounds through energies to affect mobile and expansion, and the changed Cubic space does diversification of suitable mobile toilet space configuration to a local need in order to look.

  • With the rapid progress of urbanization today, communities among members of society have collapsed. For dealing with the collapse of communities, special laws regarding urban regeneration revitalization and support were enforced and each local government founded community centers to revitalize urban village communities. These community centers were built to play a pivotal role in communities, but they have difficulties managing and supervising. Therefore, this study aims to provide basic data for community center planning and revitalization by examining and analyzing the present state of community center spaces for creation of communities among residents and the present state of use so the existing purpose of establishment as a base space of village community revitalization can be achieved in the future. For this study, first, in the literature review, the concepts of village community and community center were established, based on a theoretical consideration, and the need of research was identified through consideration of preceding studies. Second, in relation to the present state of use, the present state of community center spaces, programs, management and supervision, locations and populations was investigated and analyzed, and community center users' basic characteristics, satisfaction and consciousness of community centers were examined and analyzed. Based on this method and analysis, this study is focused on providing basic data for community center revitalization and planning.

  • Due to the decline of a rural community, traditional periodic markets regarded as a center of an agricultural village have been gradually downsized. While researchers have made a counterproposal to revitalize the traditional periodic markets, there has limit in examining how space structure of the traditional periodic markets affect visitors. Thus this study aims to analyze space structure and visitor circulation using a space syntax, a quantitative analysis focusing on PyeongChang Daehwa market. The finding revealed high degree of unification and clearness which means overall space structure was efficient for visitors to recognize and move across the space. However, there is required to build strategies encouraging consumption. The result of analyzing visitor circulation showed the degree of unification is the highest in visitor circulation where center of the market or main facilities is located. In sum, in order to revitalize deserted traditional periodic markets, rural communities need to work out strategies to encourage consumption and expand both information desk and convenience facilities.

  • This study was conducted to investigate the Ecobridge district which connects green corridor from Central park to Pulkoksan and to establish of ecological space through analysis of avifauna community, plant community structure. In the results of analysis of avifauna, 3 species 23 individuals(Pica pica, Parus major, [asser montanus) in Ecobridge district, 5 species 37 individuals(Peca pica, Parus major, Passer montanus, Oriolus chinensis, Hirundo rustica) in Central park forest. There were 15 species 72 individuals in Pulkoksan. The plant community structure were classified of three types. As divided types were artificial forest(Pinus rigida, P. koraiensis, etc.) natural forest(Quercus mongolica, Q. serrata, Q. acutissima, Q. spp.) and semi-natural forest, which have shown the successional trends from the artificial forest to Quercus spp. community. The Ecobridge district was used as the space for the passers-by owing to its the simple vegetation. Species diversity was appeared that there was the order of Ecobridge district$\longrightarrow$Central park forest$\longrightarrow$Pulkoksan forest. Similarity index was calculated 20~23% between Ecobridge district$\longrightarrow$Central park, Pulkoksan forest. Therefore the highest species diversity and multistratum vegetation structure of Pulkoksan were the most suitable for the establishment to ecological space in the district.

  • This study determined the communicative characteristics of public libraries through locality, communality, interactivity, and organism and sought to measure the validity of their components to define the role of libraries based on the analysis. According to the analysis results, there are four communicative characteristics of public libraries: locality, communality, interactivity, and organism. This study defined the role of public libraries according to communicative characteristics. First, libraries should encourage the formation of a healthy society by providing a space for diverse community activities, contributing to the building and strengthening of their local communities, and offering the necessary information to do so. Second, libraries should contribute to the formation of local cultural communities and strengthen interpersonal relations among community members to reinforce a sense of community, while also supporting the heightening of social adaptability to foster a sense of belonging and community activity participation among members. Third, libraries act as a space for sharing ideas between generations, provide a space to carry out leisure activities, and enable the cultural prosperity of local communities. Lastly, as a representative space of local communities, libraries raise the value of the residential environment and contribute to their communities and members.
